The thrust nowadays is to produce thinner and green pavement sections of better quality, which can carry the heavy loads. The high strength steel fibre reinforced concrete is a concrete having compressive strength greater than 40MPa, made of hydraulic cements and containing fine and coarse aggregates; and discontinuous, unconnected, randomly distributed steel fibres. The present study aims at, developing pavement quality concrete mixtures incorporating marble dust as partial replacement of cement as well as steel fibres. The aim is to the design of slab thickness of PQC pavement using the achieved flexural strength of the concrete mixtures. In this study, the flexural, compressive and split tensile strength for pavement quality concrete mixtures for different percentage of steel fibres and replacement of cement with marble dust are reported. It is found out the maximum increase in flexure strength, compressive strength and split tensile strength is for 0% Marble Dust and 1% Steel fibre. Also it has been possible to achieve savings in cement by replacing it with marble dust and adding fibres. This study also shows that in view of the high flexural strength, high values of compressive strength and high values of split tensile strength, higher load carrying capacity and higher life expectancy, the combination of 10 to 20% marble dust replacement along with addition of 0.5 to 1% steel fibres is ideal for design of Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC). Cement concrete possesses the most significant job in the field of common building. Cement is the most significant part in Concrete which ties the Totals together, however its creation is very vitality expending and adds to about 7 of Greenhouse gases, all around, and it is evaluated that the generation of one ton of Cement produces about 0.9 huge amounts of CO2, which is discharged in nature. The fine total or sand utilized are typically acquired from common sources exceptionally stream beds or waterway banks. Presently a day because of steady sand mining the characteristic sand is exhausting at a disturbing rate. Along these lines, there is a need to discover option in contrast to common sand and concrete. The endeavors have been made to fractional supplanting of sand with Granular Steel Slag G.S.S and bond with Waste Glass Powder W.G.P in view to diminish ecological issues like contamination, consumption of common assets and issues in squander the executives. Granular Steel Slag G.S.S which is a result of steel making is delivered during the partition of the liquid steel from debasements in steel production heaters. The Slag happens as a liquid fluid soften and is an unpredictable arrangement of silicates and oxides that cements after cooling. Expansion of steel slag improves the mechanical properties of cement. Squander Glass Powder W.G.P is a valuable mechanical squander. It shows pozzolanic conduct when the molecule size is under 75µ. The pozzolanic properties might be ascribed to the high measure of silica. The particles of Glass Powder are fine, filling voids between bond grains which brings about additional solid Concrete. Fine aggregate was incompletely supplanted with 25 , half and 75 Granular Steel Slag G.S.S and bond supplanted with 20 steady Waste Glass Powder W.G.P for M20 grade concrete. INFLUENCE OF VISCOSCITY MODIFYING ADMIXTURES ON FRESH AND HARDENED PROPERTIES...Ijripublishers Ijri
The use of self-compacting concrete (scc) in general building and civil engineering constructions is becoming popular
over the years ever since it was invented and guide-lines have been formulated by the efnarc (european federation of
national association representing concrete) in 2005. Although in india, we do not have any specific codal provisions for
scc similar to normal concrete, considerable research has been done in both development of scc and its applications with
various admixtures and fibers to enhance the properties of scc in hardened state. As scc is very sensitive to variations
in moisture content and gradation of aggregates, construction sites face difficulties in free flow of scc.
Self-compacting concrete (SCC) is a flowing concrete mixture that is able to consolidate under its own weight. The highly fluid nature of SCC makes it suitable for placing in difficult conditions and in sections with congested reinforcement. Use of SCC can also help minimize hearing-related damages on the worksite that are induced by vibration of concrete. Another advantage of SCC is that the time required to place large sections is considerably reduced.
UTILIZATION OF RICE HUSK ASH AS A POZZOLAN IN SELF COMPACTING CONCRETE IAEME Publication
The utilization of industrial and agricultural waste can be used as a pozzolanic material in Self-consolidating concrete, as the name a concrete that completely fills the formwork under its own weight without using compaction vibrator by maintaining the homogeneity of concrete. Self-compacting concrete is to resist deformability and segregation in concrete. Deformability known as flow ability is the ability of self-compacting concrete to deform under its own weight without any obstructions. On the other hand segregation resistance is the ability to maintain the homogeneous matrix in between concrete while casting concrete.
The study explores the use of Rice Husk Ash (RHA) to increase the amount of fines and hence achieve self-compact ability in an economical way. The pozzolan used in this research was rice husk under the ASTM standard C618 (Class N). The study focuses on comparison of fresh and hardened properties of self-compacting concrete containing varying amount of 0%, 5% and 10% RHA with dosage of viscosity modifying agent of 2% to 4.5% as an admixture. The comparison is done at different dosages of super-plasticizer keeping cement, water, coarse aggregate, and fine aggregate contents constant.
The fresh properties of SCC for flow spread shows that by increasing the amount of RHA the spread decreases. The V-funnel at T=5 min showed that increase in RHA and decrease in super plasticizer high, segregation is resisted at higher content of RHA. Beside this the 10% rice husk ash at 4% super plasticizer proved the higher compressive strength as compared to other mixes. The study concluded that the SCC produced utilizing RHA is more durable than the similar concrete utilizing commercially available admixture.

Rice Husk Ash RHA is actually a byproduct of the industry specially agricultural that contains higher quantity of silicon dioxide SiO2 . With this analysis, for the very first time of the Middle East, in order to supply regular RHA, a specific furnace was designed as well as constructed. Afterwards, Efforts were made to figure out the optimum temperature as well as time period of burning up. Results indicate that temperature of 6500 centigrade as well as sixty minutes burning period are actually the very best combination. Subsequently different experiments had been carried away to establish attributes of concretes integrating the best possible RHA. These tests include compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, modules of elasticity, fast chloride as well as water permeability permeability check. Results indicate that concrete including RHA had greater compressive strength, splitting tensile strength as well as modulus of elasticity from different ages in contrast to that of the management concrete. Additionally, results indicate which RHA as an artificial pozzolanic content has improved the durability of RHA concretes as well as reduced the chloride diffusion. Impact and Performance of Linen Fiber Reinforced Concrete in Slender ColumnsAJSERJournal
This study was consisted of two phases, revealed the behavior of Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC)
specimens of small-diameter slender column to achieve high quality concrete properties without using concrete
vibrator. The first phase investigated the effect of linen fiber on the rheological properties of SCC using two mixes types:
type I mix: without lime powder, and type II mix: with 20% lime as a replacement of cement content. The linen fiber was
contented of 0, 2, and 4 Kg/m³. In the second phase, the type II mix was used to cast three columns; one with plain SCC
and the other two with 2 and 4 Kg/m³ fiber contents. These columns were cured and cut in a certain manner to obtain 7
cylinders 150 × 300 mm and 8 slices 20 mm thickness. The cylinders were used to measure the distribution of unit
weight, compressive strength, and ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) along the column height. The rheological properties
of SCC were reduced with the additives of fibers to the mix constituents, but the properties of Fiber reinforced SelfCompacted Concrete (FSCC) were tested at 4 Kg/m³ fiber content. The distribution of unit weight, compressive strength,
and UPV provided good compaction of concrete. Also, the distribution of coarse aggregate at bottom, middle and top
sections of columns were uniformly distributed.
Effect of admixtures on shrinkage properties in self compacting concreteeSAT Journals
Abstract
With the rapid advancement in concrete technology, demand for sustainable building materials has increased manifold in last few
decades. High strength concrete such as Self compacting concrete (SCC), also known as Self consolidated concrete, is considered
one of the finest and highly modified concrete material. SCC represents a major evolution in the building industry. The increased
use of SCC for construction and repair purposes lies in the fact that it is semi-flowable in nature and possess several advantages
such as environmental, human, technological and economical. This paper mainly focuses on the effect of various shrinkage
properties such as drying shrinkage, autogenous shrinkage and plastic shrinkage on performance of SCC. Detailed literature
review suggests that early age shrinkage in SCC has been a major setback in attaining it’s desired strength. Expansive cracking
and capillary tension are considered as two main phenomena behind shrinkage in SCC. It is found out that factors like lower
water/cement ratio or decreasing limestone filler/cement ratio leads to reduction in autogenous shrinkage. It is considered that
cracks are one of the pivotal reasons behind the poor durability of concrete as they help in entering hazardous fluids. Hence
cracks causes specific problems like plastic shrinkage. The effect of shrinkage reducing admixtures (SRA) on SCC was observed
to be positive. SRA along with paraffin based curing compounds helps in reducing cracks. It was observed from rheological tests
conducted on concrete as well as fresh SCC that, as far as drying shrinkage is concerned usage of SRA was found out to be
effective while hydrophobizing admixtures tends to be useless. Along with addition of such admixtures, limestone fines in SCC
mixes shows a reduction in autogenous shrinkage in SCC as compared to normal vibrated concrete (NVC). More importantly
results show that total shrinkage in SCC mixed with limestone filler is slightly higher (not >9.2%) than in NVC, while SCC made
with viscous Modifying Agents (VMA) shows 7.7% less shrinkage than in NVC, due to lower autogenous and drying shrinkage.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
