Through constructing their thriller product, the document's author learned about various filmmaking technologies:
They gained experience with editing programs like Final Cut Express and LiveType, as well as hardware like cameras, microphones, and lighting equipment. They also learned how to properly use this equipment to shoot exercises focusing on cinematography and sound. Additionally, the author learned to utilize internet sites like YouTube and DaFont for research, uploading videos, and custom fonts.
Evaluation Question 6 and 7)

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

Evaluation question 6
1. Evaluation Question 6
What have you learned about
technoligies from the process of
constructing this product?
2. Technoligies
• During the process of making our thriller, i
have come across and learnt about many
differnt editing programes, hardware,
cameras, microphones, and other filming
equipment.
• I also had to learn how to use daFont, Blogger
and Prezi.
3. Hardware Equipment
We started by learning how to use the camera
equipment properly-
Our first camera exercise was a very good first
attempt for beginners with a camera.
Throught out first exercise we did notice some
continious errors that we wrote about in the
blog post when we filmed it.
4. Sound and Lighting
Another exercise we did was on the sound. This was
much better than our previous exercise. We looked at
using lots of different types of sound, digetic and non-
digetic, contrapuntal and parallel. We learnt how to
use the clip on mic and how to use the one built in the
camera we filmed with. We learnt the hardway how to
not use the clip on mic and unfortunately, our sound
exercise has some very serious sound issues!
We also learnt how to use the light boxes and the real
filming lights. As a class we made a collective clip about
this.
5. Preliminary Task
• At the end of learning about all these different
techniques, we gatthered these together to
make one film that would involve sound, and
cinermatography. This tuned out to be one of
our best exercises yet. This was one of the
short films we was very proud of. It involved
all the ements of a film, sound effects and
digetic and non-digetic sounds.
6. Programs
• Final Cut Express: this is the program we used to
edit all our films. It was not very easy to use at
the start and as a group we struggled a little
getting used to the Macs and how the program
worked. After that, we became very confident
with it.
• LiveType : This is what we used to make our
company ident. This program was the hardest to
use out of all of them. We was very limited to the
things we could use. We only used this for our
ident because it was so difficult.
7. Internet Sites
• Youtube; we used this as a source of research by
looking at other thrillers from the past, clips,
trailers of real films and looking for the perfect
sounds. We also upload all out clips and short
films there too.
• DaFont; This is the site we used to get fonts to
use at the begginings of our films. I had used the
previously and it has always been easy to use. I
also go back to this site when looking for fonts.
