2. Blogger
• Before embarking on the media coursework I had never used or
heard of blogger. I knew of blogging and what it was but never
thought of myself as having a blog.
• This experience has taught me how to use blogger which isn’t
hard and how useful it can be for example using a book of
having bits of paper for my coursework like IT is hard to
manoeuvre and a pain to carry with me everywhere but using
blogger makes it easier as it is stored digitally.

3. Final cut express and Premiere Pro
• I had used final cut express last year at school so I had a basic
understanding on how to use it but I had never used premiere
pro so it took me a while to adjust to using it.
• While doing the task I found that premiere pro is easier and
more friendly user than final cut express meaning that I
preferred using premiere pro. Before this I wouldn’t have
thought I would prefer premiere pro as it is an adobe software
and in the past I have struggled using them.

4. Audition
• I only used audition a little bit to assist Jas with the soundtrack
as we split the work up so I mainly focused on the titles and Jas
focused on creating the soundtrack.

5. LiveType
• I really enjoyed using livetype having only used it once before to
make only one title for my GCSE work but getting to use it again
and for more. I really enjoyed the opportunity to play around
and test out different parts of the software to create the titles for
our film.

6. Facebook and SMS
• I have used facebook and sms loads of times before so I was
nothing new and had no troubles with using them for
communication between the group.

7. Camera and Tripod
• We used a Panasonic camera for filming with a tripod. I had
used a camera but not a Panasonic so I was hard at first but
after getting used to it, it was fine to use. The tripod was a new
item for me and proved to be one of the key elements when
filming as neither Jas or I could hold the camera steady while
filming.

8. YouTube
• I have watched films and subscribed to people on youtube
before the task but never uploaded something to it so I have
learnt how to now do it.

9. Apple Macs
• This was the main piece of equipment used in the task as it
allowed us to edit, create soundtracks, create titles and put a
nice finishing touch on our film.
