AUDIENCE IS THE APPEARANCE OF MY MODEL. SHE IS YOUNG, WITH STRETCHERS AND
PIERCINGS, WHICH INSTANTLY SHOWS THAT MY MAGAZINE IS AIMED AT A YOUNGER
AUDIENCE WHO LISTEN TO ROCK MUSIC, AS MANY PEOPLE ASSOCIATE PIERCINGS AND
STRETCHERS WITH THIS GENRE. ANOTHER WAY I THINK MY FRONT COVER ATTRACTS MY
AUDIENCE IS THROUGH THE MASTHEAD. I THINK THAT THE WORD “LOUD!” CONNOTES ROCK
MUSIC AND IS USUALLY USED TO DESCRIBE IT, THEREFORE THIS WOULD BE APPEALING AND
ATTRACTIVE TO THOSE I WANT TO READ AND BUY MY MAGAZINE. FINALLY, ANOTHER WAY MY
FRONT COVER ATTRACTS MY AUDIENCE IS THROUGH MY PUFF. MY PUFF TELLS MY READERS
THAT THEY CAN WIN FREE TICKETS TO READING FESTIVAL. STEREOTYPICALLY, THIS FESTIVAL
IS ENJOYED BY TEENAGERS, AND MANY 16-18 YEAR OLDS SPEND PART OF THEIR SUMMER
HOLIDAYS HERE. THIS INDICATES THAT MY MAGAZINE IS AIMED AT YOUNG PEOPLE, AND
WOULD ATTRACT THEM AS TICKETS ARE USUALLY QUITE EXPENSIVE AND MY MAGAZINE GIVES
YOU A CHANCE TO WIN THEM FOR FREE.

AUDIENCE WOULD BE THE SOCIAL MEDIA LINKS. MOST YOUNG PEOPLE USE SOCIAL MEDIA
DAILY, WHETHER THAT BE THROUGH THEIR PHONES, LAPTOPS OR TABLETS.
STEREOTYPICALLY, MORE YOUNG PEOPLE USE SOCIAL MEDIA THAN OLD, AND THEREFORE, MY
READERS COULD ASSUME THAT MY MAGAZINE IS AIMED AT TEENAGERS. I THINK THIS WOULD
ATTRACT MY AUDIENCE AS IT CREATES AN IDENTITY FOR MY BRAND, AND MAKES MY
MAGAZINE MORE ACCESSIBLE. SECONDLY, I THINK THE BANDS USED ON MY CONTENTS PAGE
WOULD ATTRACT MY AUDIENCE. BANDS SUCH AS PVRIS AND BRING ME THE HORIZON ARE
QUITE CURRENT, AND TYPICALLY HAVE QUITE A YOUNG TARGET AUDIENCE, THEREFORE
MEANING THAT MORE YOUNG PEOPLE WOULD PICK UP AND READ MY MAGAZINE DUE TO THE
CONTENT OF IT. THE FINAL ASPECT OF MY CONTENTS PAGE THAT WOULD ATTRACT MY
AUDIENCE WOULD BE THE MODELS. THEY ARE ALL QUITE CURRENT AND YOUNG, SHOWING
THAT THE AUDIENCE WOULD NOT BE OLD PEOPLE BUT YOUNG, MAKING IT MORE ATTRACTIVE
TO THEM AS THEY CAN RELATE TO THE MODELS USED IN MY MAGAZINE.

• ONE ASPECT OF MY DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD THAT WOULD ATTRACT MY TARGET
AUDIENCE IS THE MENTION OF OTHER BANDS THEY MIGHT LISTEN TO, FOR EXAMPLE
BRAND NEW. THIS WILL SHOW THEM THAT THE CONTENT OF MY MAGAZINE IS
ACTUALLY UP TO DATE AND APPROPRIATE FOR THEIR AGE RANGE AND THIS STYLE
OF MUSIC. SECONDLY, I USED THE SAME YOUNG MODELS AS I DID ON OTHER PAGES.
THIS CREATES CONSISTENCY THROUGHOUT MY MAGAZINE, FINALLY I THINK THAT
THE CLOTHES MY MODELS ARE WEARING WOULD ATTRACT THE AUDIENCE AS THEY
ARE ALL IN DARK CLOTHING, DENIM, OR OVERSIZED SHIRTS. THIS IS THE KIND OF
FASHION YOU WOULD DEFINITELY ASSOCIATE WITH MY TARGET AUDIENCE, SO I
THINK THAT THIS WOULD ENABLE MY AUDIENCE TO RELATE TO THE BAND AND BUY
MY MAGAZINE AS THEY REALISE THEY ARE JUST LIKE THEM.

  • 2. FRONT COVER • ON MY FRONT COVER, I THINK THAT THE FIRST THING THAT ATTRACTS MY TARGET AUDIENCE IS THE APPEARANCE OF MY MODEL. SHE IS YOUNG, WITH STRETCHERS AND PIERCINGS, WHICH INSTANTLY SHOWS THAT MY MAGAZINE IS AIMED AT A YOUNGER AUDIENCE WHO LISTEN TO ROCK MUSIC, AS MANY PEOPLE ASSOCIATE PIERCINGS AND STRETCHERS WITH THIS GENRE. ANOTHER WAY I THINK MY FRONT COVER ATTRACTS MY AUDIENCE IS THROUGH THE MASTHEAD. I THINK THAT THE WORD “LOUD!” CONNOTES ROCK MUSIC AND IS USUALLY USED TO DESCRIBE IT, THEREFORE THIS WOULD BE APPEALING AND ATTRACTIVE TO THOSE I WANT TO READ AND BUY MY MAGAZINE. FINALLY, ANOTHER WAY MY FRONT COVER ATTRACTS MY AUDIENCE IS THROUGH MY PUFF. MY PUFF TELLS MY READERS THAT THEY CAN WIN FREE TICKETS TO READING FESTIVAL. STEREOTYPICALLY, THIS FESTIVAL IS ENJOYED BY TEENAGERS, AND MANY 16-18 YEAR OLDS SPEND PART OF THEIR SUMMER HOLIDAYS HERE. THIS INDICATES THAT MY MAGAZINE IS AIMED AT YOUNG PEOPLE, AND WOULD ATTRACT THEM AS TICKETS ARE USUALLY QUITE EXPENSIVE AND MY MAGAZINE GIVES YOU A CHANCE TO WIN THEM FOR FREE.
  • 3. CONTENTS PAGE • ON MY CONTENTS PAGE, I THINK THAT THE FIRST THING THAT WOULD ATTRACT MY TARGET AUDIENCE WOULD BE THE SOCIAL MEDIA LINKS. MOST YOUNG PEOPLE USE SOCIAL MEDIA DAILY, WHETHER THAT BE THROUGH THEIR PHONES, LAPTOPS OR TABLETS. STEREOTYPICALLY, MORE YOUNG PEOPLE USE SOCIAL MEDIA THAN OLD, AND THEREFORE, MY READERS COULD ASSUME THAT MY MAGAZINE IS AIMED AT TEENAGERS. I THINK THIS WOULD ATTRACT MY AUDIENCE AS IT CREATES AN IDENTITY FOR MY BRAND, AND MAKES MY MAGAZINE MORE ACCESSIBLE. SECONDLY, I THINK THE BANDS USED ON MY CONTENTS PAGE WOULD ATTRACT MY AUDIENCE. BANDS SUCH AS PVRIS AND BRING ME THE HORIZON ARE QUITE CURRENT, AND TYPICALLY HAVE QUITE A YOUNG TARGET AUDIENCE, THEREFORE MEANING THAT MORE YOUNG PEOPLE WOULD PICK UP AND READ MY MAGAZINE DUE TO THE CONTENT OF IT. THE FINAL ASPECT OF MY CONTENTS PAGE THAT WOULD ATTRACT MY AUDIENCE WOULD BE THE MODELS. THEY ARE ALL QUITE CURRENT AND YOUNG, SHOWING THAT THE AUDIENCE WOULD NOT BE OLD PEOPLE BUT YOUNG, MAKING IT MORE ATTRACTIVE TO THEM AS THEY CAN RELATE TO THE MODELS USED IN MY MAGAZINE.
  • 4. DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD • ONE ASPECT OF MY DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD THAT WOULD ATTRACT MY TARGET AUDIENCE IS THE MENTION OF OTHER BANDS THEY MIGHT LISTEN TO, FOR EXAMPLE BRAND NEW. THIS WILL SHOW THEM THAT THE CONTENT OF MY MAGAZINE IS ACTUALLY UP TO DATE AND APPROPRIATE FOR THEIR AGE RANGE AND THIS STYLE OF MUSIC. SECONDLY, I USED THE SAME YOUNG MODELS AS I DID ON OTHER PAGES. THIS CREATES CONSISTENCY THROUGHOUT MY MAGAZINE, FINALLY I THINK THAT THE CLOTHES MY MODELS ARE WEARING WOULD ATTRACT THE AUDIENCE AS THEY ARE ALL IN DARK CLOTHING, DENIM, OR OVERSIZED SHIRTS. THIS IS THE KIND OF FASHION YOU WOULD DEFINITELY ASSOCIATE WITH MY TARGET AUDIENCE, SO I THINK THAT THIS WOULD ENABLE MY AUDIENCE TO RELATE TO THE BAND AND BUY MY MAGAZINE AS THEY REALISE THEY ARE JUST LIKE THEM.
