Font #2 also resembles graffiti sprayed on a surface and connects to street culture and backgrounds. Font #3 called "bandy" is a clean but urban and sketchy font that represents successful artists while still connecting to the genre and target audience.

2. Font #1
This font is really sketchy
and looks like graffiti
which would tend to be on
the streets where young
males or females hang
out. This is stereotypical
to my genre as hip hop
artists tend to come from
an urban background
where they would know
what graffiti would look
like etc. therefore it
signifies the background
of hip hop as well as of
artists and the genre in
general. It represents the
audience as someone
who associates
themselves with hip hop
as well making a
connection with the genre
due to their own
background or personal
experiences.

3. Font #2
This is the second font I
looked at. It is very
similar to the first font I
looked at however it
looks more like it has
been sprayed on which
again signifies graffiti
and an urban
background. The font
links in with being on the
streets and the gangster
culture which many hip
hop artists associate
themselves with. This
font represents the
target audience as they
would look at the font
and immediately
connote the genre and
theme of the magazine.

4. Font #3
The third font I chose to
look at is the font called
‘bandy’ The font is clean
but looks urban and
sketchy. It is not very
sophisticated and it still
represents the artists
very well as people who
are successful and rich
instead of broke and
failures. This represents
the target audience as
they may feel a
connection with and
associate themselves
with it because of the
genre signifies.
