Research I usedYouTube for researching the different types of music videos and for finding videos made by other students and for finding examples of a good music video Google – This was used everyday for researching artists and songs that aren’t signed or owned by a record label of any sort. I also used for general things and used it to find websites that will assist making the video Blogger, Popplet, Prezi, Power point – These websites and software were used for making diagrams and presentations of my word so it can easily be seen by the people marking my work and my teachers.

Research I Macsand PCs – These pieces of Hardware were used for me to access the internet and software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Safari, Google chrome, Power point, Microsoft Word etc. The internet – The internet was used so I could access information and for me to go on websites such as blogger, Dafont and Prezi. These websites helped me complete media course work and helped me research music video into depth
- 4. We usedDigital cameras to record and capture footage of our music video then uploaded them to the iMac computers and edited the footage onto Premiere Pro. Still cameras were used to capture pictures of the various instruments we used in our music video and to take pictures of the members of the band for our digipak and magazine advert. Tripods were used to hold the digital cameras and to keep them steady when filming in one spot. Construction
- 5. Construction Mobile phoneswere used to take quick pictures as well as the still camera. Our personal mobile phones were used to contact each member of the group with ease and for planning when to meet up and film. Websites: Dafont was for using unique texts and fonts to make our magazine advert and digipak better. YouTube was used to upload the actual final piece of our finished music video. Photoshop- This was use to manipulate and edit images to go on our magazine advert and digipak. This was also used for practising editing album art.

Evaluation Blogger wasused for evaluation purposes as well as I needed to post blogs to do with the Evaluation questions for my teachers to mark and I needed blogger so I could easily update pieces of coursework. I used Prezi for evaluation question 1 and Popplet for evaluation 2 Evaluation question 1 I made a prezi presentation of what key conventons were in our music video For evaluation question 2 I used a popplet presentation that consisted of small boxes of information linking to other boxes and answered questions on our music video
- 7. Evaluation Microsoft PowerPoint was used for my 4th evaluation question which was about the different technologies used for our A2 media coursework, this Power point presentation Google was used yet again but for finding sites to construct my evaluation questions. I also used images from Google to give examples in my evaluation questions.
- 8. Planning For theplanning part of my course work, I mainly used YouTube, Google and Blogger YouTube was used for finding out which videos compared to ours. We found out “This is an Emergency” by the pigeon detectives was similar to our final piece and spoke about it in our blogs Google was used to find album art similar to our digipak and we found album art by artists such as No Doubt, The Black Eyed Peas and Blur.
