The student used various media technologies throughout their project, which was divided into research and planning, construction, and evaluation stages. During research, they used computers, YouTube, Blogger, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Prezi, smartphones, and SlideShare to analyze other media products, conduct research, and plan their own project. For construction, they used Sony Vegas Movie Studio to edit their music video, Adobe Photoshop CS4 for their digipak and magazine advert, and a Panasonic camera to film footage. Finally, for evaluation they used social media sites and Blogger to gather feedback, record the process, and write their coursework.
