The paper proposes a single-phase seven-level inverter for grid-connected photovoltaic systems, enhanced by a novel PWM control scheme utilizing three reference signals. The inverter features a modified H-bridge topology with a fuzzy control algorithm, demonstrating significant reduction in total harmonic distortion (THD) compared to traditional inverters. Results indicate improved output waveforms and lower electromagnetic interference, making the seven-level inverter an attractive option for efficient renewable energy integration.
