Hugh Glass. Glass was traveling with a group of fur traders, when he was mauled by
a grizzly bear. He barely survives and the members of the group try to bring him
back to the fort. I soon becomes very difficult to carry him through the rocky
terrain, so a group of men volunteer to stay behind and care for him until help
arrives or he dies. The men who stay behind are his son, Bridger, and John
Fitzgerald. John Fitzgerald doesn t care about Glass so he kills his son and then
tricks Bridger into leaving Glass behind. Glass must then survive with his injuries
