Defence Policy And Military Strategy
strategies. For the military, an overhaul of the whole concept of Defence has gradually changed as
cyber security is streamlined into defence policy coupled with economic influence and globalisation.
In the military, information and intelligence operations, routine administrative functions, and a wide
array of everyday jobs have been increasingly developed and transformed with the support of
interconnected electro electronic devices .
Defence policy and military strategy go hand in hand and Defence policy have been directly linked to
current economic state of the present government and since UK economy was in recession in 2008
prior to the release of the CSS, the question of funding becomes unavoidable. Both the Armed forces

Although the thesis does not take this line of enquiry but concentrates on the partnership with the
police force, it is work noting that the relationship that exists in this partnership as recognised by the

intended to divulge any state secrets but to reveal how cyber priorities and training has been received

The use of simulation in speaking skill development of third year students at Fast track program,
FELTE, ULIS VNU
1. The research s problem statement, background and the rationale
Along with the huge demand of good communication skill in English, the traditional teaching methods
focusing much on grammar and vocabulary were gradually substituted by the appearance of a novel
one named Communicative Language Teaching. This method aims at enhancing learners
communicative competence which requires not only grammatical, lexical knowledge but strategic,
actional and socio cultural competence as well (Celce Murcia et al, 1995). To meet the requirements of
this new teaching method, simulation has been applied in language teaching lessons in ... Show more

Crisis Of Identity Essay
Crisis of identity has been a powerful conflict throughout American literature. Suffering, destruction,
and distress initiate when characters are unable to disengage and disburden themselves from the
conflict of who they are. In American literature, crisis of identity can be caused by ethnic background,
society, family, history, and other influences. Through the novels, The Joy Luck Club and The
Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian, the characters are engaged with the theme search for
self, which results in them experiencing crisis of identity. Arnold Spirit Jr. is epigrammatic, skillful,
creative, and a warrior. Junior is brilliant and fights for his education, but he is bullied and alienated as

At his new school, Reardan, Junior is an outcast and he is also estranged by his fellow people on the
reservation because he chose to attend a white school. Prior to Junior transferring schools, he is seen
as an Indian at Reardan and seen as too white on the rez. Junior tries to come with a conclusion of
where he stands in both societies. Through the middle of the novel, the feeling of separation and
uncomfortableness grows at his new school and on the reservation, which he deals with in order to
achieve his goal of getting a better education than most Indians and finding his identity. According to
the novel, The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian. Junior felt lonely after he transferred
schools: After I decided to go to Reardan, I felt like an invisible mountain gorilla scientist (Alexie
156). This quotation implies how desolated and deserted Junior felt and includes a metaphor which
compares how scientist believed mountain gorillas didn t exist and how no one treated Junior like he
didn t exist as well. Fortunately, Junior later discovers that he will never be completely approved by
the white community and that he isn t just part of one tribe, but he is

Dope Satire
Every once and awhile, we will see those movies about a good kid and the typical wrong place, wrong
time which takes them on a journey that they never thought they would be caught up in. The 2015
comedy, crime drama, Dope, directed by Rick Famuyiwa, is just that but also a lot more. This
storyline follows a high school geek, Malcolm, in his efforts of trying to get out of his in the bottom
town of Inglewood by gaining acceptance into Harvard. Though it s not as easy as it seems as
Malcolm (Shameik Moore) and his friends, Diggy (Kiersey Clemons) and Jib (Tony Revolori), come
to find out when their world gets turned upside down after attending a dope dealer s party. Together,
they must find a way to bury themselves out of this hole they got dragged ... Show more content on

These shot often occur whenever Malcolm encounters a very pretty girl, we switch into Malcolm s
point of view as he looks and watches whatever that girl is doing. For example, we see his point of
view as he watches Nakia (Zoë Kravitz) erase something in her notebook with her pencil to which he
then helps her solve the problem she was working on. Also, later on, we see through Malcolm s eyes,
Lily (Chanel Iman) swimming topless in the pool as she too stares back at Malcolm. Whenever
Malcolm faces possible danger, we also then switch to his viewpoint. Like when Malcolm and his
friends look around for the guy in the red El Camino that wants the drugs, we use Malcolm s line of
sight and see his eyes search the curb for the car. Also, we jump into Malcolm s viewpoint when he is
in the school s bathroom hiding from the two patrol officers and the drug dog to escape getting caught
with the dope that is in his backpack and return to the SAT test that he is supposed to be taking.
Another time when we are shifted into Malcolm s perspective is when is attempting to figure
something out. Like when Malcolm and his friends get rejected by the bouncer at Dom s party, we see
from Malcolm s eyes a solution of using the band equipment that needs to be carried in to get them
inside the building for the party. Yet another example of Malcolm putting two and

Essay on The Nuremberg Trials
The Nuremberg Trials More than half a century has passed since the end of World War Two and to this
day it is still difficult to fully understand the severity of what was by far the most destructive war in
human history. More than sixty million people were killed during World War Two and more than half
of those were innocent town s people. Among the dead were over six million Jews, which was two
thirds of the total living race in Europe at the time. Beyond these general statistics were thousands of
stories of crimes committed against soldiers and civilians. These crimes against humanity included
cases of prisoners of war being murdered, sent to concentration camps and abuse as well as harmless
civilians being rounded up and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
From the research I have done Keitel is portrayed as a disgraced desk soldier whose only defence in
the trial was that he was obeying orders. I still do not agree with Wilhelm s argument because he had a
choice not to follow through with Hitler s wishes but instead signed orders for various ruthless killings
and attacks. Keitel knew his actions were really obscene but he chose to go through with them to
please Hitler. The judge s final verdict for Wilhelm Keitel was that he is guilty on all four accounts
and sentenced to death by hanging. Keitel signed orders for the attacks on the neutral countries of
Belgium and the Netherlands. He also ordered the attacks on soldiers in the East that should be met by
putting to death fifty to one hundred Communists for one German soldier s death. The judges made
the appropriate sentencing for Keitel as he deserved to die for his inhumane war orders. Superior
orders, even to a soldier, cannot lessen the crime when the evil doings are committed deliberately and
ruthlessly. These kinds of orders Keitel singed off on were just so vicious and cold blooded. Any
normal human being in their right mind would not allow for these actions to happen. Finally, Hans
Frank was the third accused Nazi who used the defence that he was just following orders. Frank was
appointed Chief Civil Administration Officer for occupied Polish territory during the war. Hans Frank
stated during the trial, I did not approve of the persecutions of

Commentary On Date Rape
I found this play difficult to read. The overall tone of the piece was tinged with sadness. As I read, I
would have to occasionally put it down to keep from crying. I m not exactly sure why this piece
affected me so emotionally, but I feel that an emotional response to artwork is pretty significant. As I
felt like crying, I was surprised by the section which talks about whiteness and a prescriptive notion
that people shouldn t be emotional. The lady in blue states ...yes let s go on and be white...let s think
our way out of feeling (shange 54). This was interesting commentary on the way in which dominant
culture undervalues the body and emotions. Certainly all people have the capacity to be emotional and
venerable, but these qualities are often ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It was violent and in many ways another sort of bodily invasion. First the speaker must endure the
brutality and humiliation of rape, and then she must endure the pain and danger of this medical
procedure. This brought me back to Rich s Compulsory heterosexuality and her complication of
consent and choice. I would very firmly argue that abortion should be an option for women, but I
wonder how this procedure can be free from coercion within a violent patriarchal rape culture. I also
found that the mixture of experiences this play portrays is very important. These women can share
certain aspects of their experience, but they are far from the same. I found the lady in blue s story
especially impactful. She is a clear embodiment of the way in which trauma and tragedy can make one
feel that they must be cold and distant to survive and avoid further brutality. She argues that nice is
such a rip off and I can certainly see her point (shange 53). The way in which that bitterness is used
against each of the characters is also beautifully written and incredibly

Reflection Of Dynamic Team Leadership
In a team, we tend to meet people with different working styles. Based on Kurt Lewin s Change
Model (Lewin,1947) during unfreezing stage, I have to change my mind set when working with
different people. I learnt that I am adaptable to changes as a member of a peer team.
I also learnt that I fared as a leader where I initiates meetings for the group to discuss on the project. I
am also participative, shared responsibilities where I did all assigned task on time and remarkably.
However, I learnt that I can be more decisive. There was once that my group could not come to
consensus, resulting in our meeting time extended than predicted. I feel that I could have enforced on
my leadership at that time, and might have be more efficient.
What have you learnt about Teams in general? ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Another way is to bond outside work. For example, our team charter mentioned that we wants to bond
over meal, but was not done as our time do not allow. I feel that if we have, we could have foster a
greater bond.
Dynamic Team Leadership
I learnt that dynamic team leadership is important in team dynamics. Even when my team separate our
roles, my team members still take on leadership skills when necessary. It is important because during
different circumstances, the assigned leader may not demonstrate good leadership skills. If other team
members do not demonstrate leadership skills when needed when assigned leader are supposed to, the
team may not be able to complete their task and end up in endless conflict and discussion.
I also learnt that role clarity is important, without role clarity, all members would have no idea what is
their role and may results in them doing job that conflicts. With role clarity, it would smooth
functioning of team as members know what to do.

State Of The Essay
State of the Essay
The thing about these essays is that the problems I encounter with them are twofold. It s like that
scene in Jurassic Park where they realize that they have all the problems of a major zoo and a major
amusement park. First, I have to worry about the time managment piece. When students wait until the
last minute to do the work it s generally not very good or it s incomplete or both...probably both. That
is a self discipline issue that is completely removed from what I m actually trained to teach my
students. My hands are tied when I m confronted with this.
The second problem is the problem that I actually enjoy dealing with; writing. This problem is
multifaceted and fascinating. Working together at the task of becoming better writers is actually fun. I
ve seen it become fun for other people. It s not just me. As I stated, the writing problem is multi
faceted but those facets generally reside in one of three categories: content, form, and technicality. The
content of a 110 student s paper includes the personal narrative, the universal, and the academic. I ve
tried to explain the prompt a dozen different ways , but the one that has the best track record is this
one: Think of a moment where you had an epiphany about life and what it meant to live it...what it
meant to be you and why it meant that...something you learned about yourself that may benefit others
in the telling. It sounds pretty good, but it s still inadequate. It still elicits

He began his journey when he was just a young man at the age of 18. Johnny sought out to plant

apple trees and land he would come in to possession of. He also befriended many people, and these
people would always welcome Jonny as their family. Also, he made friends with many Indian tribes

Integration Of Engineers And Military History
INTEGRATION OF ENGINEERS IN US MILITARY HISTORY
Name: Josue Forgue (SSG) Institution: SLC Class 004 14 Introduction
The US military is a national force that is tasked with the duty of protecting the federal state from
attacks from external forces. In this respect, the military is obliged to use some special scientific skills.
This sees to it that the military combating is done with convenience and effectiveness. In this regard,
the military was compelled to integrate engineers in its operations throughout its long history
(Arkesian, Connor Sarkesian, 2006).
Body
The military history s integration of engineers dates back to the year 1775 when the continental
government established the first Army Corps. This was essentially an Army ... Show more content on

The academy was stationed at West Point in New York State. It became the only and then the major
school of engineering in the US. The Corps of Engineers were tasked with duties such as the
improvement of navigation on the Mississippi river (Arkesian, Connor Sarkesian, 2006).
The US military integrated topographical engineers. At around the year 1838, they were used for the
sake of mainstreaming civil works. They took up the task of mapping as well as the design and the
fortification of the coastal routes. The engineers also took up the task of surveying the lakes of the US
in the North and the North West. These engineers saw to it that the topography of the nation was
effectively mainstreamed in accordance to the requirements of the federal government (American
Society of Naval Engineers Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, 2006).
During the civil war, the engineering element that had been integrated into the military in the US
played a very key role. The military carried out many missions during this time and the central nerve
to these missions was the engineers. They undertook tasks like the construction of bridges, forts,
batteries, the entrenchment into fortified enemy territory, and the demolition of the supply chain of the
enemy. It is in this respect that the military was able to keep the enemies at bay. They were able to go
over running torrents of rivers and entered into the

This piece evoked an uncomfortable feeling inside me, sort of giving a music background to my
emotions when I am uneasy, frantic, loosing my sense of direction. I personally would not select this
music to unwind after a long day at work. The fourth was selections from Divertissement for Oboe,
Clarinet, and Bassoon (1927) composed by Erwin Schulhoff, three movements were played. The
Charleston: Allegro began with a brigh tone, upbeat rhythm, producing dance to the beat of the music.
The second movement, Romancero: Andantino sounded playful, with the individual instruments
playing consecutively in the introduction playing the same note. The tempo is more andantino, relaxed
and mezzo forte. The last movement was the Rondo Finale: Molto Allegro con fuoco, it featured a
lively theme, faster tempo (prestissimo), many repeated tones playful notes with all instruments, and
concluded fortissimo rushing at the end. The fifth piece was Suite d aprés Corrette, by Darius

All Faiths Food Bank is an organization that collects food products from many donation sources and
distributes them to local people that are in need. The organization moves the food through its 20,000
square foot warehouse, off Fruitville Road in Sarasota (A). After the food is properly inspected, it is
then distributed to, currently 184, Sarasota and DeSoto County agencies and outpost centers, such as

applicants can then receive their, much needed, nutritional assistance. Because of the summer
programs last year, such as the backpack program, 26,986 children received food; this equates to
1,994,415 meals (B). It is estimated that All Faiths Food Bank supplies a total of approximately 8

Mary Shelley s Frankenstein-The Women Of Cyberpunk
The Women of Cyberpunk
Women have always been on the fringes of the science fiction writing community. Not only have there
been few female writers, but few female characters of substance have explored the universe, battled
aliens, or discovered new technologies. Even in Mary Shelley s Frankenstein (1818), considered by
some to be the first science fiction novel, Elizabeth, who is the major female character, does little
more than decorate Victor s arm, snag his heart, and eventually contribute to his self destruction.
Women were virtually non existent in the Golden Age SF (1938 1949) writings; except perhaps as
trophies to be rescued, or smoldering, sexual beings that really didn t contribute to the overall plot

In the above passage, it is evident that Molly, however, would not have the ability to truly break away

Virtual Museum Of Japanese Arts
History The island nation of Japan, according to Virtual Museum of Japanese Arts (2016), has a rich
history that largely alternates between times of imperial and military control. The Jomon period,
which started in 10,000 BC, is the earliest instance of culture in Japan. This period transitioned into
the Yayoi period (300 BC), which, according to Columbia University s Dr. Heinrich (2009), featured a
more advanced agricultural society. Virtual Museum of Japanese Arts (2016) continues to describe the
Kofu period (300 710 AD), during which ancestors of the current Japanese imperial family founded
Japan s first unified state under the Yamato Court, and Buddhism was introduced in 552 AD. Japan s
first capital was established in Nara during the Nara Period (710 794 AD), and moved to Kyoto during
the Heian Period (794 1185 AD) when noble families started ruling in the emperor s name. During this
period, Japan s then Chinese dominated culture was replaced by an indigenous one (Virtual Museum
of Japanese Arts, 2016) described as a great flowering of classical Japanese culture (Heinrich, 2009,
para. 6) The Kamakura Period (1185 1333 AD) saw the imperial court overthrown by the the
Minamoto family, who started the Kamakura Shogunate era of rule that resulted in a vigorous, realistic
artistic style representative of the warrior spirit (Virtual Museum of Japanese Arts, 2016, para. 5). The

Red Lobster Analysis Essay
Red Lobster Altering Perception through Improved Positioning
Given the changes in Red Lobster s strategy over the past few years and the surprising ability to attract
new, experiential customers, it our recommendation that they modify their strategy to focus on
pursuing this type of clientele. We will go into further detail momentarily; however, the reason for
focusing on the experiential customer group is that Red Lobster has the opportunity to increase
revenue and net operating income at each restaurant by 20% or more. Granted, these are enormous
gains and it will take a few years to realize their full potential, but for the reasons laid out below, we
believe these gains are a realistic possibility.

Together, they developed a new menu around freshness. Next, wood fire grilling was introduced, as
research showed it was the most preferred way of cooking seafood. This was a very effective way of
repositioning the brand, as it helped to shift perceptions away from the fried foods of the past to the
new fresh preparation methods. Furthermore, grill masters were introduced, and the position quickly
became the most prestigious job in the restaurant. This was also highly effective, as it added a higher
quality feel to the food, and served a dual purpose as the centerpiece of the marketing plan in 2011. In
addition, a fresh fish menu was provided to consumers, separate from the main menu, which
highlighted the daily catch. Finally, select ingredients were upgraded and restaurant locations were
remodeled in order to strengthen the perception of top quality and freshness, while appealing to
consumers other senses.
The current Red Lobster advertisements have come a long way from the all you can eat snow crab

fathers considered it a waste to train a female as she will soon be a married off and the fathers name
lost. Unlike in the urban areas where schools are properly supervised by education boards, to ensure
quality and standard is maintained. Some schools only have not more than 20 students in the class.
Fully equipped and students have access to laboratory for research and practical. Most of such schools
available in the urban areas are privately owned.  The rural areas are characterised by low level
income, unemployment and underemployment, this eventually leads to resulting poverty for most
individuals in the rural sector. These consequently leads to rural urban drift with increasing
infrastructural facilities. These urban migration also leads to shortage of skilled and unskilled labour
in the rural urban areas. Rural employees always seek better jobs in the urban areas. (Bolakale S,

Commentary on Scene Eleven focusing on the speech in A Streetcar Named
Desire
Scene Eleven in A Streetcar Named Desire is significant. It depicts a concrete and clear view of
Blanche s character and highlights the theme of death. It, most importantly, generates the audience s
sympathy which is not depicted in the first part of the play.
The scene takes place a few weeks after the rape. This is indicated in the stage directions: it is some
weeks later. The setting which is presented in the scene is typical in that poker is being played by
Stanley and his friends while Stella and Eunice are conversing; however, the mood is tense and
discreet. It is also highlighted that
Blanche is taken into a mental asylum. This would be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
But had to be burned like rubbish; on the contrary, the speech in Scene Eleven depicts death in a
romantic manner: I will die with my hand in the hand of some nice looking ship s doctor with a small
blond moustache Also, she wishes to die peacefully after witnessing the deaths of Belle Reve.
The sheer contrast in her illusion of death shows her incapability with reality, this would lead to her
downfall.
The Scene, namely the speech highlights Blanche as a tragic heroine.
Her weak mental state is one factor which contributes to the audience s sympathy. The illusion of her
death, to die romantically shows her apartness from reality, which again builds up sympathy for her.
Her mental disease would be as a result of the rape and as indicated in her speech in Scene One the
loss of Belle Reve. These facts portray sympathy for Blanche and could be labeled as a tragic heroine.
The speech plays significantly in depicting aspects of Blanche s character. It highlights her educated
and refined temperament in that the speech is brought in a very romantic and poetic form. This formal
dialect is visible in all the significant speeches in the play. It highlights her dramatic nature as well as
her wide imagination. She depicts the situation in a very real manner in that she can smell the sea air
and she describes a vivid image of a nice looking ship s doctor. These

Transportation Options For A City Rail Link ( Crl )
Auckland is easily navigable with a variety of transportation options that include personal cars, an
excellent public transportation system, and taxis.
PERSONAL CAR: Cars are used as a primary mode of transportation throughout Auckland. The
streets are in excellent repair with clear signage in English. Driver etiquette is also excellent and
traffic laws are typically obeyed. Expatriates usually choose to drive a small or medium car around the
city. Traffic may become congested during rush hour, especially on and around the Harbour Bridge.
DRIVER: Drivers are not needed. Assignees and families typically drive themselves.
RAIL: Auckland s simple and efficient rail system is commonly used by commuters. Trains and

TAXI: Metered taxis are clean and safe to use and serve as a popular alternative mode of
transportation for expatriates. They are sometimes difficult to flag down, but may be booked in
advance via phone. Rates vary depending on the taxi company.
WALKING: It is safe to walk around Auckland during the daytime. Most neighborhoods are also
suitable for pedestrians at night.
FERRY: Ferries across some of Auckland s Harbors are safe for expatriates to use and are also
integrated with the Auckland Transport rail and bus systems.
OTHER: Auckland is also a bike friendly city with numerous bike lanes.
NIGERIA, Lagos
Due to security risks and lack of infrastructure, transportation options in Lagos are limited. Most
assignees will travel via personal car with a hired driver.
PERSONAL CAR: Personal cars are used as the primary mode of transportation in Lagos. Although
the city s main thoroughfares are in good repair, a significant portion of the secondary and minor roads
are unpaved. For this reason, expatriates commonly purchase large cars or SUVs. Roads are marked in
English but signage is inconsistent, and traffic laws are not always obeyed. Traffic congestion due to
overcrowding is a significant issue in Lagos, especially on and around the few bridges that connect the
city s most popular neighborhoods and commercial centers. Commuters should expect to pay road
tolls.
DRVIER: Drivers are commonly used.

Uncertainty with defining the clinical attributes of Apraxia of Speech has been debated in the literature
dating back to 1960 s when Darley (1975) first introduced the term Apraxia of Speech (AOS).
However, the idea of a motor speech disorder existing with preserved language skills and unimpaired
muscular function was originally introduced by Paul Broca in the 1800s (Broca, 1861). McNeil et.al,
(2004) defines AOS as a neurogenic communication disorder affecting the planning and programming
of speech movements in the absence of weakness, slowness, and incoordination of the speech
musculature. Apraxic speakers can properly select the correct phonemes, but are unable to manipulate
and sequence the structures necessary for speech because the ... Show more content on

Essay On Trauma
Without a doubt having taken this course has opened my eyes to the subject of trauma and its effects
in ways that I would never have conceived in my limited exposure to this area of study. I can say, that
it is the study of trauma and its many faceted dimensions that have perked up my ears at times such as
when the mention of the term on the T.V. brings me to tune in to hear what the latest event or
discussion surrounding a specific take on violence and its trauma related after probing. My reflection
on my emotional reactions to certain KB s is that at the heart of the topic of trauma are various
nuisances. I am looking at my journey as I go through the course, and I am personally affected by
resilience as a factor of people s lives. I was struck by this because the idea was not one which comes
to my attention when thinking of trauma. What comes to mind is what takes place at the time of a
traumatic event and the recovery aspect of it. The varied aspects of family history and resilience never
entered the conversation about trauma which I carried on with myself. But after looking at the need
for victims of traumatic events such as a mass shooting to get better after a traumatic event, it is
reiterated over and over by research of well documented studies as to how a person s recovery
progresses will depend on what resilience mechanisms have been laid down in their childhood for a
given individual. I have this point of view or good stressors to fall back on for myself

Character Analysis Of Bigger Thomas
Bigger Thomas is not an ordinary character that is portrayed in racial poverty at the time. Were used to
seeing the same story every day from this time period. Only a few heroic people have stood up but
never like as we see here. Bigger Thomas is a representation of all black men of this time: full of fear.
There worried for themselves and for their own families. They try making a living but due to their
color, they are limited to very few things. The accidental murdering of Mary, finally gave Bigger a
purpose in life even though it wasn t a good one. Many times was Bigger given the tension that he is
powerless in this world like when Boris mentioned it to him how it s a daily routine for all black men
to live with stress. Bigger Thomas is a character that can truly be presented as real life character with
his struggles of poverty, racism, and he has to show that he does in fact exist. Native Son is the story
of Bigger Thomas and how he goes from an absolute nobody to the most wanted man in the city. Right
from the start we can see Bigger s poverty level when he and his brother try catching the rat. That
afternoon, Bigger and four of his friends decide to rob an old white man but they are all afraid to do it
since he is white and the punishment would be huge for them if they are caught during or after act.
Bigger picks a fight with Gus for arriving late, just so he can stay out of it and then leaves toward the
Daltons house. He gets the chauffeur job and meets

Federal Bureau Investigation
Have you ever wondered who helped keep our country safe? It is the Federal Bureau Investigation.
Federal Bureau Investigation, is also known as the FBI. The FBI is an investigating team. The FBI has
history, investigating, and has numerous facts.
To begin, the FBI has rich history and background. The FBI was created by Attorney General Charles
Bonaparte. It was created in the year of 1908. The FBI has been up and running for about 107 years.
By 1907 the Department of Justice most frequently called upon Secret Services to conduct
investigations. It was 1892 when law enforcement was often political rather than professional. The
FBI states, The FBI originated from a force of special agents created in 1908 by Attorney General
Charles Bonaparte during the presidency of Theodore Roosevelt . There is much more I could talk
about. The FBI has been running for about 107 years which means they have a lot of papers.
In addition , they also have to investigate. When the FBI arrive to a crime scene, they first look to see
if they can see the weapons. Finding the weapon is a crucial step to finding the killer. A gun leaves the
same unique patterns of marks on every bullet it fires. If the crime scene is by a river then police
divers search for missing weapons at the bottom of river, lakes, and ponds. There may, however, be
more than one crime scene. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the nineteenth century, municipal and state governments shouldered the responsibility of law
enforcement. Another facts is that the Special Agents force also aided border guards, investigating
smuggling cases and immigration violations. Encyclopedia says Despite the changing future of the
structure of the United States intelligence community, the FBI will undoubtedly play a central role .
The FBI s focus on the prevention of terrorism failed to thwart the September 11, 2001, terrorist
attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The FBI has many things that people do not

Cardiomyopathy attacks when the damaged muscle is unable to pump blood as it should causing tissue
hypoxia. Kloner et al, explained that men between the ages of 35 and 50 are the most diagnosed group
of alcoholic cardiomyopathy when compared to other age groups (2015). When an individual has a
history of alcohol abuse, the damaged heart muscle cannot pump enough blood to circulate to the rest
to the rest of the body; the individual become very fatigue, thirsty, weak, dizziness with shortness of
breath. As the disease progresses, it leads to cardiac heart failure, a condition that affect the heart
chambers. Long term alcohol use has been associated with the cause of left ventricular dysfunction.
The left side heart failure causes fluid to back up into the lungs which suppresses an individual s lung
making it hard to breath. Excessive alcohol intake has been linked to many cardiac disease including
stroke, hypertension, and arrhythmias. Clinical manifestations exhibit dyspnea, chest pain, fatigue,
syncope, weakness and palpitations (Kloner et al., 2015).

Women Of The New Zealand Essay
Women make up 51% of the New Zealand population, however, women in New Zealand parliament
only make up just over 30% in parliament (2014). For women to be represented in parliament, it
means that women need to be seen as a norm in government, and therefore all positions of power. This
under representation can be linked to factors such as the environment and the culture of the New
Zealand parliament and political parties. It is important to note that women are not a homogenous
group; and we have to include ethnicity and class, which links into opportunity. This gender gap in
parliament has caused societal issues to be silenced and minority groups to be left out of decision
making and therefore society.
New Zealand was the first country to give women the right to vote in 1893, however, since then we
have dropped to 27th when it comes to gender representation in government, out of 188 countries.
One of the many reasons as to why women are under represented in parliament can be linked to the
issue of the political obstacles that face women. This is when they want to be in parliament, women
whom are in parliament, and the many women who this is not an option for due to lack of opportunity.
Women have to face this masculine model of politics and government. Men are dominant in
parliament, meaning that political life revolves around male norms and values (Shvedova). This can be
extended, politics is very much about competition and confrontation. Rather than politics being

Suffering, destruction, and distress initiate when characters are unable to disengage and disburden themselves from the conflict of who they are. Through the novels, The Joy Luck Club and The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian, the characters are engaged with the theme search for self, which results in them experiencing crisis of identity. Also, later on, we see through Malcolm s eyes, Lily (Chanel Iman) swimming topless in the pool as she too stares back at Malcolm. Essay on The Nuremberg Trials The Nuremberg Trials More than half a century has passed since the end of World War Two and to this day it is still difficult to fully understand the severity of what was by far the most destructive war in human history. More than sixty million people were killed during World War Two and more than half of those were innocent town s people. Among the dead were over six million Jews, which was two thirds of the total living race in Europe at the time. Beyond these general statistics were thousands of stories of crimes committed against soldiers and civilians. I still do not agree with Wilhelm s argument because he had a choice not to follow through with Hitler s wishes but instead signed orders for various ruthless killings and attacks. Keitel knew his actions were really obscene but he chose to go through with them to please Hitler. The judge s final verdict for Wilhelm Keitel was that he is guilty on all four accounts and sentenced to death by hanging. Keitel signed orders for the attacks on the neutral countries of Belgium and the Netherlands. He also ordered the attacks on soldiers in the East that should be met by putting to death fifty to one hundred Communists for one German soldier s death. The judges made the appropriate sentencing for Keitel as he deserved to die for his inhumane war orders. Superior orders, even to a soldier, cannot lessen the crime when the evil doings are committed deliberately and ruthlessly. These kinds of orders Keitel singed off on were just so vicious and cold blooded. Any normal human being in their right mind would not allow for these actions to happen. As I felt like crying, I was surprised by the section which talks about whiteness and a prescriptive notion that people shouldn t be emotional. The lady in blue states ...yes let s go on and be white...let s think our way out of feeling (shange 54). I would very firmly argue that abortion should be an option for women, but I wonder how this procedure can be free from coercion within a violent patriarchal rape culture. I also found that the mixture of experiences this play portrays is very important. These women can share certain aspects of their experience, but they are far from the same. I found the lady in blue s story especially impactful. She is a clear embodiment of the way in which trauma and tragedy can make one feel that they must be cold and distant to survive and avoid further brutality. • 11. State Of The Essay State of the Essay The thing about these essays is that the problems I encounter with them are twofold. It s like that scene in Jurassic Park where they realize that they have all the problems of a major zoo and a major amusement park. First, I have to worry about the time managment piece. When students wait until the last minute to do the work it s generally not very good or it s incomplete or both...probably both. That is a self discipline issue that is completely removed from what I m actually trained to teach my students. My hands are tied when I m confronted with this. The second problem is the problem that I actually enjoy dealing with; writing. This problem is multifaceted and fascinating. Working together at the task of becoming better writers is actually fun. I ve seen it become fun for other people. It s not just me. As I stated, the writing problem is multi faceted but those facets generally reside in one of three categories: content, form, and technicality. The content of a 110 student s paper includes the personal narrative, the universal, and the academic. I ve tried to explain the prompt a dozen different ways , but the one that has the best track record is this one: Think of a moment where you had an epiphany about life and what it meant to live it...what it meant to be you and why it meant that...something you learned about yourself that may benefit others in the telling. Virtual Museum Of Japanese Arts History The island nation of Japan, according to Virtual Museum of Japanese Arts (2016), has a rich history that largely alternates between times of imperial and military control. The Jomon period, which started in 10,000 BC, is the earliest instance of culture in Japan. This period transitioned into the Yayoi period (300 BC), which, according to Columbia University s Dr. Heinrich (2009), featured a more advanced agricultural society. Virtual Museum of Japanese Arts (2016) continues to describe the Kofu period (300 710 AD), during which ancestors of the current Japanese imperial family founded Japan s first unified state under the Yamato Court, and Buddhism was introduced in 552 AD. Japan s first capital was established in Nara during the Nara Period (710 794 AD), and moved to Kyoto during the Heian Period (794 1185 AD) when noble families started ruling in the emperor s name. Because some communities don t have schools, so they all crowd the available ones. The distance covered to go to school, sometimes discourage the students. The female children also would be denied education, because they would be sent off to marry or stay at home and work on farms or house chore. Most fathers considered it a waste to train a female as she will soon be a married off and the fathers name lost. Unlike in the urban areas where schools are properly supervised by education boards, to ensure quality and standard is maintained. Some schools only have not more than 20 students in the class. Fully equipped and students have access to laboratory for research and practical. Most of such schools available in the urban areas are privately owned.  The rural areas are characterised by low level income, unemployment and underemployment, this eventually leads to resulting poverty for most individuals in the rural sector. Oral Synthesis Essay Uncertainty with defining the clinical attributes of Apraxia of Speech has been debated in the literature dating back to 1960 s when Darley (1975) first introduced the term Apraxia of Speech (AOS). • 28. Essay On Trauma Without a doubt having taken this course has opened my eyes to the subject of trauma and its effects in ways that I would never have conceived in my limited exposure to this area of study. I can say, that it is the study of trauma and its many faceted dimensions that have perked up my ears at times such as when the mention of the term on the T.V. brings me to tune in to hear what the latest event or discussion surrounding a specific take on violence and its trauma related after probing. My reflection on my emotional reactions to certain KB s is that at the heart of the topic of trauma are various nuisances. I am looking at my journey as I go through the course, and I am personally affected by resilience as a factor of people s lives. I was struck by this because the idea was not one which comes to my attention when thinking of trauma. What comes to mind is what takes place at the time of a traumatic event and the recovery aspect of it. The varied aspects of family history and resilience never entered the conversation about trauma which I carried on with myself. But after looking at the need for victims of traumatic events such as a mass shooting to get better after a traumatic event, it is reiterated over and over by research of well documented studies as to how a person s recovery progresses will depend on what resilience mechanisms have been laid down in their childhood for a given individual. I have this point of view or good stressors to fall back on for myself ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 33. Women Of The New Zealand Essay Women make up 51% of the New Zealand population, however, women in New Zealand parliament only make up just over 30% in parliament (2014). For women to be represented in parliament, it means that women need to be seen as a norm in government, and therefore all positions of power. This under representation can be linked to factors such as the environment and the culture of the New Zealand parliament and political parties. It is important to note that women are not a homogenous group; and we have to include ethnicity and class, which links into opportunity. This gender gap in parliament has caused societal issues to be silenced and minority groups to be left out of decision making and therefore society. New Zealand was the first country to give women the right to vote in 1893, however, since then we have dropped to 27th when it comes to gender representation in government, out of 188 countries. One of the many reasons as to why women are under represented in parliament can be linked to the issue of the political obstacles that face women. This is when they want to be in parliament, women whom are in parliament, and the many women who this is not an option for due to lack of opportunity. Women have to face this masculine model of politics and government. Men are dominant in parliament, meaning that political life revolves around male norms and values (Shvedova). This can be extended, politics is very much about competition and confrontation. Rather than politics being ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
