The And Pathophysiology Of Diabetes
Diabetes mellitus is becoming an increasingly prevalent chronic disease which affects not only the
sufferer, but also affects their family, society and numerous healthcare disciplines. According to the
International Diabetes Federation (2013), an astounding 382 million people worldwide are living with
diabetes. There are several different sub types of this disease which include: Type 1 (T1DM), Type 2
(T2DM) and Gestational diabetes mellitus. Within Australia, an enormous 85.3% of the population
living with this disease are suffering from T2DM (Australian Bureau of Statistics, 2012). These
statistics highlight the severity of T2DM as it is rapidly becoming the type of greater concern,
especially since this adult onset disease is becoming ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
(Mazze, Strock, Simonsen, Bergenstal, 2004, p. 81). Obesity is another condition which can result in
metabolic syndromes which also play a role in the development of T2DM along with other diseases
including coronary heart disease, all of which are major contributors to patient morbidity and
mortality (Craft Gordon, 2011, p. 1068).
Pathophysiology
As previously mentioned, T2DM is characterised by insulin deficiency and insulin resistance within
peripheral tissues such as muscle, liver, and adipose tissues (Mazze, Strock, Simonson, Bergenstal,
2004, p. 79). It was also noted that other conditions, namely obesity, were recognised to be positively
correlated to the progression of T2DM.
Insulin deficiency refers to when a person fails to secrete adequate levels of insulin during digestion of
meals (Naseem et al., 2012). Producing adequate levels of insulin is essential for being able to
overcome the increase of glucose levels in the body while eating, this is achieved by sending signals
to the liver to reduce its production of endogenous glucose. However, after prolonged exposure to this
disease, this affects the ability of β cells to respond to rises in glucose levels. (Mazze, Strock,
Simonson, Bergenstal, 2004, p. 80). Located in the pancreas, β cells, or Beta cells, are responsible for
the production and storage of insulin (Resnick, 2014).
Insulin resistance, however, occurs when insulin receptors within cells of the body

Testing Various Disinfectants On Bacteria Covered...
Disinfectants vs. Bacteria This project involves testing various disinfectants on bacteria covered
toothbrushes to see which method is most effective. The three main methods of disinfectants are
hydrogen peroxide, U.V rays to kill bacteria, and antibacterial soap. Learning what is in the various
disinfectants that eliminate bacteria is beneficial to understanding the experiment. Bacteria are single
celled organisms that reproduce quickly. Pathogens are bacteria that cause sickness. Once the body is
infected with pathogens, those bacteria reproduce and grow inside of cells in the body. As they grow,
certain bacteria can make toxins; those toxins can damage the body s cells. Symptoms of a sickness
can be caused by those toxins. Pathogens can be spread from one person to another through physical
contact or contact with bodily fluids. Bacteria however can be killed by sterilization, cold
temperatures, antiseptics, disinfectants, and pasteurization. The antibacterial soap mentioned is a
disinfectant that reduces bacteria, which therefore reduces chance of infection. Hydrogen peroxide is
an antiseptic that reduces bacteria. The difference between antibacterial soap and normal hand soap is
triclosan or triclocarbon. Triclosan is an antibacterial compound in antibacterial soap and a potent
synthetic chemical. The text states, Triclosan is classified as a broad spectrum antimicrobial agent
because it is effective against a wide range of microbes; the term antimicrobial implies

Analysis Of Communications Service Providers ( Csps )
Communications service providers (CSPs) all over the globe are seeing an unprecedented rise in
volume, variety and velocity of information due to next generation mobile network roll outs, increased
use of smartphones, the rise of social media, and the impending explosion of the Internet of Things
(IoT). There are two additional Vs to consider as well: veracity and value. Collectively, this outlines
the big data challenge that CSPs face today. There is more data from more sources being generated
faster every day, and CSPs must determine which bits and bytes have to most impact on business
decisions. In this competitive climate, the CSPs who can tackle the big data challenge will

Now, the majority mobile users use smartphones, and as a result, consume far more data than feature
phone users. This has driven traffic levels through the roof, and, coupled with the highly competitive
mobile market, created a need for better customer care. In fact, as we ve written in Pipeline numerous
times, the customer experience is a major differentiating factor in telecommunications and one of the
keys to success.
One way to leverage big data is through proactive intelligence. By combining multiple data streams
into an analytical framework, service providers can understand patterns, behaviors, and service
characteristics in exciting new ways, and build automated response solutions that head off problems
before they occur. A perfect application of this is proactive customer service. By correlating network,
application, location, and customer data, along with third party, unstructured data sources, into a single
tool, customer service agents can be presented with a solution before a customer utters a word. One
service provider that Pipeline interviewed for this story is able to pull from 65 data sources in real
time, and display resolutions in less than half a second to care agents. This is clearly a competitive
advantage, as it reduces handling times and therefore lowers costs, and delivers rapid issue resolution
to customers. This can be further extended to self care portals, and even further modified to

Deviance In Psychology

Drugs were not acceptable for cool girls. Drugs however, were acceptable and even encouraged for
boys. I know one female who smoked pot, all the other cool females ostracized her, called her a
druggie . I know one guy who refused to try pot, and the cool guys called him a wuss (that means
wimp), and didn t ask him out to party anymore (pg 145).
The limit of what is socially acceptable for each gender to participate in seems to not exist for males,
however for females, reaching this point does not require much deviance. Deviance is defined as any
violation of norms. It is clear that the use of drugs is very gender specific, and if identify as other than

This is the feeling of disorientation upon venturing into a very different and unknown culture. The
difference between locations is referred to as cultural variation. This term relates to behaviors such as

similar to the specific one s the girl in the passage noticed. Reasoning for as to why the girl felt more
poor within the suburbs as compared to the city can be explained by relative poverty. This means what
is considered to be the poverty line or poor in one area may differ from the poverty line within another
area. Essentially, the area one lives is is generally relative to resources accessible to them, which is
relative to their social class/stratification. While the family of the girl may have been a middle or
upper middle class family within the city, her social class significantly dropped once

Legal Assistant, Law, And Law
A paralegal is defined as a person trained in subsidiary legal matters but not completely qualified as a
lawyer. A legal assistant is employed by a lawyer, law office, government agencies, or other entity to
work under the direction of a licensed attorney. Becoming a legal assistant requires an associate s
degree or a certificate in legal assistant studies. A legal assistant can pass the test given by the National
Association of Legal Assistants and be referred to as a Certified Legal Assistant. Once someone
becomes a CLA they are required to take several hours of continuing educations to maintain their
status. At Miller Motte some of the courses a person interested in becoming a legal assistant may
include Introduction to Criminal Justice, Introduction to Law, Constitutional Law, Writing for
Criminal Justice, and Criminal Law and Procedure. In some circumstances an attorney may hire a
college graduate that has obtained a bachelor s degree with no legal experience and allow them to
learn on the job. Attorneys that specialize in Family Law, Business Law, Tax Law, and Bankruptcy
Law are a few examples of the different attorney offices a legal assistant may be found. Being a legal
assistant is often challenging and rewarding. Legal assistants do a variety of tasks including
organizing files, doing legal research, and even drafting documents. All these tasks support lawyers in

Organizational Culture and National Culture in...
Abstract
Multinational organizations are combinations of multicultural employees. Multicultural environments
cause cultural shock among leaderships and employees. Organizational culture and national culture
are significantly important in current marketing environment. Organizational culture mainly shows the
value and the roles inside the organization. However, national culture is the directing of organizational
culture and influence both leadership and employees deeply from their personal values. Furthermore,
the relationship between organizational culture and national culture has impacts on leaderships,
employees, job satisfaction as well as the commitment of employees to the organizations. This essay
will discuss the issues above, and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For instance, Wallach (1983) viewes three perspectives of organizational culture, that is, innovative,
supportive and bureaucratic. Martin (1992) identified three forms of organizational culture, including
fragmentation, differentiation and integration. Goffee and Jones (1998) define four types of
organizational cultures, which is communal, fragmented, mercenary and networked. However, in a
company, individuals have personal values and beliefs as well as personal desires. On that account, the
attitude of employees and commitment to the companies may result in diversity of achievements.
National cultures also have some effects on the values, beliefs and personal desires. A variety of
countries have multifarious national cultures, giving rise to a culture shock in multinational
companies. Cross cultural research shows that significant differences exist in national culture
characteristic between western and eastern cultures (Hofstede, 1980, 1991; El Kahal, 2001; Chen,
2001). For instance, it is widely known that bureaucratic traditional deep rooted culture and high
power distance exist in Chinese companies (Pye, 1985; Chen, 2001). The management of firms in the
west and east makes a world of difference. The reason for that is the distinction between the impact of
national culture on individual worth and how individual worth adapts to the organizational culture.
Furthermore, after organizations in Hong Kong are mostly in power by ethnic Chinese, the Chinese

Patrick s Moral Development

experienced sprinter that already had the privilege to compete in the Summer Olympic Games. Patrick
is struggling to find the difference between right and wrong when faced with illicit drugs used enhance
his performance. This case study includes many key elements related to moral development. Moral
development is the process in which an individual develops the proper mindset towards situations
based on social and cultural norms. Patrick began his moral journey when he encountered obstacles
during his athletic career. His coach began to put pressure on him to improve his performance through
using performance enhancing drugs, ultimately influencing Patrick s thoughts and leading to him

Furthermore, another aspect adding to his moral development are the lack of job opportunities he will
have access to at the end of his athletic career. Therefore, if he proceeds with the drugs, he may be
able to make enough revenue to support his daughter as well as himself. The final element
contributing to Patrick s moral development is the influence of media. The media oftentimes warps
our view of what is right or wrong. For example, some articles may justify and defend doping while
others frown upon it. These elements had a significant effect on Patrick s moral

Why Bother By Michael Pollen
In the article, Why Bother written by Michael Pollen, he explains how the environment has gotten
very bad over time. He talks about sustainability, global warming, and the cheap energy mind in his
article. He tells us that we need to act now before the phenomenon gets worse. Have you paid
attention to the environment lately? Have you noticed the rising temperature around the world? Have
you noticed the melting of the ice caps? If you haven t you are about to be in for a surprise. The world
has gotten very bad and we need to act now. There are a lot of causes to the environmental problems.
The main cause are from farmers all around the world. Farmers are a lot more technologically
advanced then what they were 50 years ago compared to now. The problem with the farmers are the
overuse of energy, erosion of the soil, and pollution. The answer to all of these problems is sustainable
agriculture because it is more efficient and better for the environment.
What is sustainable agriculture? Sustainable agriculture is an alternative for solving fundamental and
applied issues related to food production in an ecological way. Sustainable agriculture integrates three
main goals environmental health, economic profitability, and social and economic equity (Kaushik
92). Energy conservation is a huge controversy around the world. There is too much energy being
wasted and people are not caring enough to fix this problem. To fix this problem we need to turn to
renewable energy resources.

The Theory Of Consciousness And The Scientific Processes
Processes and ideas are constantly changing, even evolving. This occurs across the entire spectrum of
most all environments with dynamics natures; within society, within religion, and within science.
More specifically, both the study and observation of consciousness and the scientific processes
allocated towards those ends have changed profoundly over time. It can also be observed that the
evolution of the study of consciousness parallels the development of the scientific method, to the
extent that an evaluation of the former can indicate the developmental position of the latter. This is
clearly evidenced throughout Miller s essay on the former topic, and the essay itself can be interpreted
as a chronology of the latter topic when approaching it from this viewpoint. The chief elements that
serve towards this end indicating the development of theories on consciousness and the scientific
processes behind them are societal and religious pressures, two elements that are exceedingly
prevalent in Miller s work.
Religion and society had large influences on the rate of development and, consequentially, the quality
of early theories of consciousness, in effect improving the former while markedly diminishing the
latter. Within the essay, there were many examples of societal pressures driving the likes of Mesmer,
Baron Dupotet, Elliotson and their historic counterparts into hurried and less than rational and less
than scientific studies and conclusions. For instance, at the opening

Effects Of The Stock Market Crash Of 1929
The 1920s went into American History as the most controversial decade (Geisst, 2012 p. 146).
Nobody could have foreseen at the beginning of 1929 what importance this year would have for the
financial market (Wigmore, 1975 p. 4).
The booming 20s were drastically ended by the Stock Market crash of 1929. It went down in history
as one of the worst economic downturns (Termin, 1976 p. xi). The panic at the stock market which led
to many people trying to sell their stocks started on Wednesday, October 23 (Geisst, 2012 p. 185).
Thursday, October 24, 1929 has gone into history as Black Thursday (Geisst, 2012 p. 185). The whole
stock market lost 30 percent of its value before the end of the year 1929 (McGrattan Prescott, 2001).

179). De Long and Shleifer (1990 p. 3) estimate that the stock market in 1929 was one third
overvalued. Common stocks seemed to be running out in 1929 (Galbraith, 1977 p. 69). Therefore
because of the shortage of stocks, prices rose to sky high levels (Galbraith, 1977 p 69). It cannot be
proven that stocks were overrated at the time of the crash. Yet there is prove that speculative gamblers
are not to be blamed for the crash. Knowledgeable investors were just too optimistic in the stocks and
therefore this led to the burst (Bierman, 1991 p 175). Laura Agadoni supports this cause in her
research paper (Agadoni, n.d). It was not seen at first hand in October 1929 if stocks were overvalued.
The market functioned well; investors and speculators were buying stocks (Bierman, 1997 p.

External Stability
External Stability
External stability is the government objective that seeks to achieve current account sustainability, a
continued capacity to service foreign liabilities, and a foreign exchange rate; all of which are
necessary to facilitate and encourage economic transactions between Australia and the rest of the
world.
External stability is the aim of government policy that seeks to promote stability and sustainability in
Australia s external sector so that Australia can service its foreign liabilities in the medium to long run
and avoid currency volatility. There are three main components to external stability: 1. A sustainable
current account deficit (CAD) 2. A serviceable level of foreign liabilities 3. A stable ... Show more

The primary measure of the sustainability of a country s foreign debt is the debt servicing ratio, while
the primary measure of foreign equity sustainability is the equity servicing ratio. These ratios indicate
the proportion of export revenue that must be spent on interest payments for foreign debt (or dividend
payment on foreign equities).
In the long term, extensive growth of Australia s foreign debt can lead to a sustainability problem, as
the costs of servicing current debt can create difficulty when servicing future debts. If foreign debt
rises faster than GDP, interest repayments and other servicing costs on this debt will begin to take a
proportionately larger part of GDP, constraining economic growth and jeopardising living standards. If
prolonged, this may lead to a debt trap scenario.
Australia s Exchange Rate
Because Australia has a floating exchange rate, the currency s value is left to be determined by the
market forces of international demand and supply. There is no specific measure of exchange rate
volatility. Economists instead refer to movements in Australia s bilateral exchange rate or movements
in Australia s TWI to demonstrate exchange rate volatility. Since floating in 1983, Australia s
exchange rate has been remarkably volatile. This has been seen especially in the past six to seven
years, where the Australian dollar has appreciated substantially against the US dollar, from record
lows in August 2001 of US48 cents

I liked David Almond s choice of characters. Skellig is a character that is not often found in children s
literature, he is gentle, yet spooky and human/non human. Michael the main character grows into a
stronger person by the end of the story, we watch him grow. I liked Mina as she is a strong minded
character who has certain beliefs which are explored in the story.
The narrative voice of this story is in the first person of Michael so we are automatically asked to
emphasise with him. I really liked the phrase `he laughed but did not smile . This phase was often said
throughout referring to Skellig. I thought the language used was effective however there was swearing
in the book which may not be appropriate to children and I thought it was irrelevant.
The passages that have stayed in my mind most vividly are chapter twenty where Michael takes Mina
to see Skellig and chapter thirty nine when Michael s mom described the dream she had had. I was
most touched by chapter twenty eight when Michael could not feel the heart beat, I thought the baby
had died and was relieved to find she had not.
I did not really dislike any part of this book but I did not like the pain the family had to go through
because of the baby s illness.
This book is the kind of book which gives you a lot of questions, but answers are hard to find. When
the character Skellig was introduced I immediately asked myself why was he in the

To say that African descended populations and cultures have been erased is not an unreasonable
statement because the moment Africans were enslaved and taken from their home country they were

What Is The Unity Of Effect In The Raven By Edgar Allan Poe
Martha Garbarini Ms. Hopkins P3 H English II September 23, 2015 Wondering Nevermore Edgar
Allan Poe was one of the most influential authors of his time, being highly regarded as a pivotal figure
of Romanticism in American Literature. For many, the name brings to mind images of madmen and
dark, twisted tales of fate. In Poe s work, he had a way of impacting his readers deeply, through
language choice, all, and elaborate imagery. In one of Poe s most acclaimed works, The Raven, unity
of effect is achieved very well through skillful language choice. In stanza sixteen, Poe writes, By that
Heaven that bends above us by that God we both adore Tell this soul with sorrow laden if, within the

in the domestic level in the U.S. Top 3 large companies make over 43% of global market share. This is
mostly due to the competitive requirements such as large capital, complex and integrated network,

This also creates entry and exit barrier into this industry. The followings are some of the key players
of this industry segment. UPS: In 2014, UPS had a 22% of global market share in Time Definite

coincided with both of the two classes. Before this class, I had never seen a Beginning Lindy and
Swing technique class before, nor a Choreography Three class. In general, I had never seen an
instructor so passionate about expressing and teaching their craft to their students.
I chose to observe the Beginning Lindy and Swing class first and foremost, because it was the only
class that I could watch that did not overlap with my personal and academic schedule. The second
reason why I chose this class was because, I had the notion that this genre of dance class would be
interesting and historical to watch. This dance is also bold and pungent to look at. This style of class is
interesting because the dance choreography has multiple kicks and jumps which are repeated
consecutively throughout the performance. The reason I choose to watch the choreography three class
is because I wanted to see the students design their own choreography, and observe how it presented
cohesively to the audience.
In the technique class I expected to see male and female students in Lindy shoes and wearing

3. Also, the leadership of the Americans was lacking. With little time in country General Fredendall
was still very new to the concept of how to manage a war time force and how to properly reconnoiter.
This lead to his soldiers not being in place and ready to defend the attack. b. Establish military lessons
learned. 1. One of the lessons learned by the Americans was inferior doctrine and lack of air
superiority. The current doctrine of the time, which was FM 31 35, was lacking and was ambiguous. It
ultimately said the air units need not be assigned or attached to ground units. In July of 1943, a few
months after the defeat at Kasserine Pass, it was replaced by a better less ambiguous FM 100 20. The

Abolish The Death Penalty Should Not Be Abolished
Wiggins Amanda
Professor Laudani
Composition 1
09 July 2015
Abolish the Death Penalty Since the state has no power to give life, it should not exercise its power to
take a life either. After all, the judicial system is not a fool proof system. The risk of putting an
innocent human being to death by capital punishment, cannot be ruled out. The only purpose it serves
is retribution or revenge. Therefore, the death penalty must be abolished. The death penalty is prone to
errors that may have led to the execution of wrongfully convicted people. There have been 330 post
conviction DNA exonerations here in the U.S (Innocence Project).
The Supreme Court should bring the United States in line with the rest of the world and hold that
death is a cruel and unusual punishment prohibited by the Eighth Amendment. The death penalty
process consumes tremendous amounts of money and resources and fails to deter murders.
The average cost to put someone to death is 1.1 million dollars that Americans are paying for (Huddar,
Buzzle). That money can be used for a lot more things, such as, helping homeless veterans, who
served our country, or children who live in poverty right here in America. It is used in an often
arbitrary and racist manner. In a study commissioned by the governor of Maryland, defendants who
kill white victims were more likely to be sentenced to death than those who killed a black (McElwee,
Huffington Post) Not only does the death penalty

Department Of Homeland Security And Terrorism
DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY The events that occurred on September 11th, 2001,
changed the United States and the rest of the world. President George W. Bush declared a war on
terrorism on national television, during a joint session of Congress on September 20th, 2001. The
President s words echoed the cries of this country and during his speech he went step by step in his
explanation of the events and actions moving forward. After explaining to the nation the details of the
events that occurred on September 11th, he requested that American s not hold all Muslims
responsible for the cowardly acts and attacks. He acknowledged the country may face many
challenges in finding and eliminating the elusive enemy. Turning our countries grief and anger in to a
mission to rebuild and overcome was part of his plan. Fighting a war on terror was outlined in
President Bush s speech, starting with al Quida. He proclaimed that America would pursue nations
that provide aid or safe haven to terrorism. Every nation in every region now has a decision to make:
Either you are with us or you are with the terrorist (McNamee, 2001). During his speech, the president
unveiled the plans for the United Stated Department of Homeland Security. The Start of Homeland
Security Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge was appointed director of the Office of Homeland
Security eleven days after the terrorist attacks. The Office of Homeland Security was tasked with

Mcdonald s, The Slogan Of Chipotle Essay
Food with integrity. The slogan of Chipotle. Their goal? They use high quality raw ingredients, classic
cooking techniques and more to provide the best experience for both the customer and their
employees. Within 23 years, the company has improved so much from a single restaurant in the year
1993 till 2000plus restaurants worldwide. Believe it or not, McDonald s contributes a lot to Chipotle s
success. It invested in Chipotle in the year 1998, helping the company to expand rapidly, at the same
time owned more than 90% of Chipotle s stock, according to Huffington Post. McDonald s divested
completely from Chipotle by August 2006 as co CEO Steve Ells stated, I ve never thought that we
reached Chipotle, the brand s, full potential during the time with McDonald s. Today we will be
comparing Chipotle with McDonald s, by looking at their difference and similarities in their
characteristics such as their pricing and output, market power and their revenues and cost structure.
McDonald s had 36,000 plus restaurants worldwide, 82% are franchised and the average McDonald s
restaurant serves 1916 customers every day according to Solitude Canyon, which is a big number!

The Symbolism Of How Soccer Explains The World
For as long as I can remember sports has always been symbolic of war. The symbolism has been loose
and vague because the sports battlefield is clearly not a war zone, besides in our mind. The terms can
be seen in every arena, every venue, every sport. Blitz, field general, cannon for an arm, volley, blown
up, a battle at the plate, even neutral zone comes from the battlefield. Athletes are referred to as
warriors and they are engaging in battle, in pseudo warfare. It s not new or different to hear that type
of jargon because looking backing to history sports did serve as a temporary battlefield. The Mayans
used the ball game to settle many disputes, Native Americans used stick ball (an early version of
lacrosse) to settle disputes about ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I have a long love of sports and I want to be a sports journalist one day and that part of me was almost
instantly captivated by the way the author told this story and allowed it to unfold. You could almost
read this as an ESPN 30 for 30, except it talks about more critical matters than a normal ESPN
documentary would dare touch on. You can see the metaphors be described through the sport, you can
draw parallels through one team to the other, one conflict to the next. This is one of the most unique
recruiting tools I have ever seen used in warfare and one of the most interesting villainous characters,
that isn t fiction, I have heard about in a long time. The way to reach a large audience is to use
something many are passionate about, and this was a really good way to explain this kind of conflict

Essay on Superman vs. Christ
Faster than a speeding bullet, stronger than a locomotive, jumps tall buildings in a single bound.
Superman is known throughout the world for being the savior of a city called Metropolis. In every
comic book, movie, or action figure ever presented to the public, Superman is a handsome, strong man
who can defeat all odds at all times. The movie Superman was a success, showing how the superhero
saved lives and yet lived a humble life. As one watches the movie, though, he might notice the many
similarities between the plot of the movie and the story of Christ s coming. Superman, savior of the
city Metropolis, mirrors the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ.
Throughout the movie Superman, the names and the actions of the characters were ... Show more

At the beginning of the movie, it shows three people standing on trial and a vote that was to be
decided by Jor el. Zod, who was one of two men on trial, told Jor el to let him go and that he would let
Jor el have reign over the new world, which is also said when the devil is speaking to God and trying
to keep himself out of what was to become Hell. One of the strongest points in the movie that showed
itself to be on the same path as Christ s coming was when Jor el said the father in the son, and the son
in the father, before he was to send Kah lel off into the universe towards Earth. Another moment was
when Kah lel throws the crystal and his father appears to tell his son that he is pleased with him and
that he should now start his ministry after roaming the wilderness for the past twelve years. Not only
does this scene in the movie agree with the Bible s story of Christ s twelve lost years, but it also is
similar to when Christ was baptized by John. When Christ s baptism took place in the river Jordan, a
voice from Heaven came down upon the crowd and said, This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am
well pleased. From the beginning to end of the movie, there are times in which Superman looked to be
modeled after the story of Christ s coming.
While the names and the actions matched up for both stories, there were also cases where an object s
appearance alone made the viewer

Inherit The Wind by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee
Every man has opinions, some which are stronger than others, but do these thoughts define the man?
In Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee s play Inherit The Wind opinions do not define the people who
advocate them. Each character in this play has viewpoints that influence their actions. The bravery,
honesty and determination required to express an opinion defines a person more than the opinion,
allowing one to respect a man who advocates unpopular opinions. When a man stands up for his
beliefs despite their unpopularity, he exemplifies great bravery. While Bertram Cates may not have
been the most brave man when the trial began, he later addresses the courtroom by saying, I feel I
am... I have been convicted of violating an unjust law. I will continue in the future, as I have in the
past, to oppose this law in any way I can, (115). Bert bravely states his point of view in his speech and
makes it clear that he stands behind Darwinism. While picking the jury members, Drummond
[objects] to all [the] Colonel talk, (42) because he believes it interferes with a fair trial. In addition to
annoying Brady, Drummond objects to the title because he is brave enough to stand up to what he
thinks is unjust. On a more general note, Drummond had the bravery to go to Hillsboro as the defense
attorney for Bert even though winning the case was nearly impossible and there was no pay. Although
their opinions were not popular in the play, Bert and Drummond show great bravery by standing up

In the time it takes a person to read this sentence 684,478 pieces of content will be shared on
Facebook, 100,000 people will tweet, hundreds of thousands more will like an Instagram photo...and
that s if they read very quickly (Marrouat). Today, many people use the Internet for everything. The
internet has many benefits, anyone that has a computer with internet can find any information and can
even add to it. That s why the Internet is known as the collected knowledge of millions of people. The
most popular tool of the Internet though, is its way for socialization. Socialization is referring to the
way people communicate and how they do it. There are places where people can go to get in contact
or stay in contact with others and places where people go to talk about their interests. Facebook is an
example of a place where people can socialize and talk with friends and acquaintances or even join
chat rooms. The internet is drastically changing the way people communicate and interact with each
other. Because of this dependence on the Internet, our relationships with other people are diminishing.
There are many different ways that humans interact together. The way most of America interacts is
over Social Media. There are many problems involved with this. Relationships with people all around
the world are weakening. Social Media today means that people can find acquaintances to be their

Bill Gates Vs Bill Gates Similarities
For people in my own age group, our oldest memories of computers are most likely the pinball game
on Windows XP, and Google s website showing a different font. A little earlier than that, documents
were saved on floppy disks instead of USB drives, and before that, network connections were made
over a phone line. However, it is hard for anyone to imagine a time when having a computer on every
desk and in every home was regarded as an impossibility, even if they remember those years
(Academy of Achievement). The personal computer has evolved into an essential tool in the daily
lives of most Americans, because of the wave of innovations that Bill Gates kicked off in 1975. Bill
Gates was raised as a fierce competitor, which he demonstrated at a young age when waterskiing or
playing tennis with his family. However, he was even more intense when he went up against
intellectual challenges, which his parents found out soon after enrolling him in the Lakeside School. In
1967, a terminal was set up in the Seattle private school, which could use the resources of an off site
computer for the duration of a paid session, and Gates was immediately hooked. Along with Paul
Allen, he learned the programming language, BASIC, which was in use at the time, and the two
students took every opportunity for computer time they could get. When Paul Allen reflected on this
time, he noted one key difference between Gates and himself: Where I was curious to study
everything in sight, Bill would

the music industry ( Paul McCartney ). Paul is known for his incredible rise to fame, his standing
membership in The Beatles and Wings , singing and songwriting throughout his music career and his
work with vegetarian and animal advocacy organizations. There is not much that Paul McCartney
hasn t done. His life reflects the type of person he is and how he s touched many people s lives with hi
inspirational music. Paul McCartney is a perfect example of a rags to riches story; he grew up a poor
boy in Liverpool and became one of the most well known musicians of all time because of his
songwriting, music career, eventful family life and work with multiple charities and organizations.
Born James Paul McCartney in Liverpool, England on June 18, 1942 into a lower middle class family,
Paul McCartney was raised by a traditional working class family. His mother was a maternity nurse
and his father was a cotton salesman and jazz pianist. His father, Jim McCartney, suggested Paul
experiment with various instruments. At a very young age he began his life long love affair with
singing and songwriting. Although Paul was put in formal music lessons for the most part he taught
himself by ear. By using his natural musical instincts he taught himself the Spanish guitar, the piano
and trumpet ( Paul McCartney ). It became very prevalent that this young boy was very musically

The Gift Of Language In Fifteen Dogs By Andre Alexis
In the novel, Fifteen Dogs by André Alexis, Greek gods Hermes and Apollo make a bet that if they
gave any animal the gift of intelligence, the animals would be even more unhappy than humans. In
making this bet, fifteen dogs are granted the gift of intelligence allowing them to be able to
communicate through their own newly formed language and become self aware. At first, the dogs
band together to form a pack, but quickly realize how language complicates their ability to work
together. With the gift of intelligence, the dogs become individuals and think separately rather than
working with a pack mentality. There is no longer harmony between the dogs, but instead a fight for
dominance and a battle of intelligence. We will identify how language eroded the pack through
disagreements and violence as the dogs become aware of their status and differences. The dogs first
run into difficulty with their gift of intelligence when it becomes obvious to them that there are
different levels of comprehension of their ability to communicate using their new language. Prince is a
dog who shows a deeper understanding and love for language compared to the others. We see Alexis
bring this point out in the novel when he says, Prince s words had not been meant as a warning.
Rather, he had been playing. He had been pretending. He had been speaking for speaking s sake.
Could there be a more despicable use for words? (28). Prince, being a very clever and curious dog,

Essay about Gaap and Ifrs Convergence
GAAP and IFRS Convergence
Kenneth DeWitte
Strayer University
1. Describe IFRS and GAAP and what convergence means.
The International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is the accounting framework used by the
European Union, Japan, Canada, and other world economic leaders. The IFRS is based on the tenets
of understandability, reliability, and comparability. It is based off the International Accounting
Standards (IAS) and had the opportunity to be built from accounting ideas and principles used across
the world. In recent years it also has had the chance to look at the United States Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles (GAAP) and modify the rules to enhance clarity and consistency, intentionally

2. Analyze how convergence will affect public companies, accounting firms, and small and medium
companies.
I can see the convergence making life much simpler for public companies. There will now be no need
to have two sets of financial data when doing business overseas. This means less accounting staff and
saved revenue. Also there will be a level of comparability between domestic and foreign companies
that will allow for sound analysis and investing. This will lead to better decisions being made and
hopefully some growth. For smaller businesses there will not be much change other than the change in
presentation form. As for accounting firms though, there will be a need for training as each new rule is
implemented by FASB. This means a rise in the demand for accountants versed in both GAAP and
IFRS. 3. Evaluate at least three significant differences and similarities between IFRS and GAAP and
the impact these similarities and differences can have on financial statements.
Three very significant differences between the IFRS and GAAP are revenue recognition, expense
recognition, and inventory costing methods. The revenue recognition for GAAP is a broad system
having many categories, but for IFRS revenue can fall into four distinct categories. The GAAP
presentation is much clearer as to where the money is coming from. This leads to a much easier to
read format. Expense recognition for GAAP is that you would record the

The Consequences Of Julius Jones And The Jonestown Massacre
All across America, television sets display nine hundred and nine dead bodies. These bodies, in
aluminum coffins, came over to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. Tax payers were irate at possibly
having to pay for all the embalming and burial costs ( The Horror, 28). Embalming and burial costs
are expensive and many people lost sympathy for cult members. So, people opposed paying for the
consequences of the Jonestown massacre.
Jim Jones realized he was losing control over the People s Temple, leading to the Jonestown massacre.
Then in 1975, he uprooted his followers and isolated them in Jonestown, Guyana. Jones began
instructing his followers to commit a revolutionary suicide (Twemlow 224). The People s Temple s
actions concerned many family members and outsiders, which sparked Congressman Leo Ryan s
involvement. Congressman Leo Ryan and some reporters were on a mission to rescue Americans from
Jonestown. On November 18, 1978, Jim Jones was paranoid that his reign over Jonestown would
come crashing down when some of his followers went with Congressman Ryan. Jones used a mass
suicide to remain in control. Many people of Jonestown drank the poisonous Kool Aid. When people
resisted, Jones loyal followers injected hesitant followers with the poison. Jones ordered the murder of
Congressman Ryan and was responsible for the deaths of nine hundred and nine Americans. Jim Jones

employees with an opportunity to develop their management and planning skills (Turner, 2009).
Employees are, therefore, exposed to new skills that would be of great benefit to them in building their
careers. This justification is enough to make anyone take the position that Mill was offered in the

The Effects of Advancements in Lighting on The Theatre...
Without light, the theatre cannot exist, that much is certain. As actors, as audience members, as
technical visionaries, we are only as powerful as the light we are given. The extent to which we
depend upon light in performance has changed dramatically throughout history, however, as light
technology developed and expanded. In the history of performance, the artistic community is
constantly victim to the limits of lighting technology, and exponentially altered by breakthroughs.
From the utilization of candles and natural light to isolated light and electricity, the histories of
illumination and theatre are virtually inseparable, and continue to push the boundaries of live
performance. Like any journey, it is necessary to begin with a ... Show more content on

Having only heightened text and elaborate spectacles to guide them, much of the subtlety, specificity,
and emotion must have been lost in translation. Additionally, indoor performances, primarily
requested by courts and nobility, specifically used candles and torches as sources of illumination.
Candles were placed at the front of the stage, between the wings leading to the stage, and above both
the stage in order to frame the players. Chandeliers were also hung above those in attendance, to
create a sense of audience. This marks both the first appearances of footlights in the theatre and,
though basic, the beginning of a formulaic structure for lighting a performance space. Issues prevailed,
however there were still no successful methods for specific lighting, unless an actor held the light
themselves to illuminate their face, nor were colored lights or gobo devices available. Though lighting
was making its way into the theatrical world, it was purely technical, not called upon to be inventive,
create illusions or accomplish tasks at this point in time. Limited design innovations were mostly
rooted in the scarce advancements made with regard to lighting technology. Where this began to
change and evolve was in the early 1800s, when the gaslight was introduced into the performing arts
sphere. The new technology was brought into the theatre industry by William Murdoch and later F.A.
Winsor, who used the lights to replace candles in framing the stage

Passivity and Impotence in Mary Shelley s Frankenstein
Passivity and Impotence in Frankenstein
There are many ways to interpret a literary text, especially one as laden with ethical questions and
literary allegory as Mary Shelley s Frankenstein. Shelley s complex family dynamic her conflicted
relationship with her father, her need to please her mentor/husband with literary success, her infants
deaths enhances the intrigue of the novel and suggests multiple themes and layered meanings. One
discernible theme in Frankenstein is illuminated by the bold line that separates male character from
female: The men inevitably fail the women whom they claim to love, but the women are maddeningly
passive, seemingly blind to the men s inadequacies. Here, however, this passivity is a ... Show more

  • 2. The And Pathophysiology Of Diabetes Diabetes mellitus is becoming an increasingly prevalent chronic disease which affects not only the sufferer, but also affects their family, society and numerous healthcare disciplines. According to the International Diabetes Federation (2013), an astounding 382 million people worldwide are living with diabetes. There are several different sub types of this disease which include: Type 1 (T1DM), Type 2 (T2DM) and Gestational diabetes mellitus. Within Australia, an enormous 85.3% of the population living with this disease are suffering from T2DM (Australian Bureau of Statistics, 2012). Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... (Mazze, Strock, Simonsen, Bergenstal, 2004, p. 81). Obesity is another condition which can result in metabolic syndromes which also play a role in the development of T2DM along with other diseases including coronary heart disease, all of which are major contributors to patient morbidity and mortality (Craft Gordon, 2011, p. 1068). Pathophysiology As previously mentioned, T2DM is characterised by insulin deficiency and insulin resistance within peripheral tissues such as muscle, liver, and adipose tissues (Mazze, Strock, Simonson, Bergenstal, 2004, p. 79). It was also noted that other conditions, namely obesity, were recognised to be positively correlated to the progression of T2DM. Insulin deficiency refers to when a person fails to secrete adequate levels of insulin during digestion of meals (Naseem et al., 2012). Producing adequate levels of insulin is essential for being able to overcome the increase of glucose levels in the body while eating, this is achieved by sending signals to the liver to reduce its production of endogenous glucose. However, after prolonged exposure to this disease, this affects the ability of β cells to respond to rises in glucose levels. (Mazze, Strock, Simonson, Bergenstal, 2004, p. 80). Located in the pancreas, β cells, or Beta cells, are responsible for the production and storage of insulin (Resnick, 2014). Insulin resistance, however, occurs when insulin receptors within cells of the body ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Testing Various Disinfectants On Bacteria Covered... Disinfectants vs. Bacteria This project involves testing various disinfectants on bacteria covered toothbrushes to see which method is most effective. The three main methods of disinfectants are hydrogen peroxide, U.V rays to kill bacteria, and antibacterial soap. Learning what is in the various disinfectants that eliminate bacteria is beneficial to understanding the experiment. Bacteria are single celled organisms that reproduce quickly. Pathogens are bacteria that cause sickness. Once the body is infected with pathogens, those bacteria reproduce and grow inside of cells in the body. As they grow, certain bacteria can make toxins; those toxins can damage the body s cells. Symptoms of a sickness can be caused by those toxins. Pathogens can be spread from one person to another through physical contact or contact with bodily fluids. Bacteria however can be killed by sterilization, cold temperatures, antiseptics, disinfectants, and pasteurization. The antibacterial soap mentioned is a disinfectant that reduces bacteria, which therefore reduces chance of infection. Hydrogen peroxide is an antiseptic that reduces bacteria. The difference between antibacterial soap and normal hand soap is triclosan or triclocarbon. Triclosan is an antibacterial compound in antibacterial soap and a potent synthetic chemical. The text states, Triclosan is classified as a broad spectrum antimicrobial agent because it is effective against a wide range of microbes; the term antimicrobial implies ... This has driven traffic levels through the roof, and, coupled with the highly competitive mobile market, created a need for better customer care. A perfect application of this is proactive customer service. By correlating network, application, location, and customer data, along with third party, unstructured data sources, into a single tool, customer service agents can be presented with a solution before a customer utters a word. One service provider that Pipeline interviewed for this story is able to pull from 65 data sources in real time, and display resolutions in less than half a second to care agents. The limit of what is socially acceptable for each gender to participate in seems to not exist for males, however for females, reaching this point does not require much deviance. Reasoning for as to why the girl felt more poor within the suburbs as compared to the city can be explained by relative poverty. This means what is considered to be the poverty line or poor in one area may differ from the poverty line within another area. Essentially, the area one lives is is generally relative to resources accessible to them, which is relative to their social class/stratification. This occurs across the entire spectrum of most all environments with dynamics natures; within society, within religion, and within science. More specifically, both the study and observation of consciousness and the scientific processes allocated towards those ends have changed profoundly over time. It can also be observed that the evolution of the study of consciousness parallels the development of the scientific method, to the extent that an evaluation of the former can indicate the developmental position of the latter. This is clearly evidenced throughout Miller s essay on the former topic, and the essay itself can be interpreted as a chronology of the latter topic when approaching it from this viewpoint. The chief elements that serve towards this end indicating the development of theories on consciousness and the scientific processes behind them are societal and religious pressures, two elements that are exceedingly prevalent in Miller s work. Religion and society had large influences on the rate of development and, consequentially, the quality of early theories of consciousness, in effect improving the former while markedly diminishing the latter. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The primary measure of the sustainability of a country s foreign debt is the debt servicing ratio, while the primary measure of foreign equity sustainability is the equity servicing ratio. These ratios indicate the proportion of export revenue that must be spent on interest payments for foreign debt (or dividend payment on foreign equities). In the long term, extensive growth of Australia s foreign debt can lead to a sustainability problem, as the costs of servicing current debt can create difficulty when servicing future debts. If foreign debt rises faster than GDP, interest repayments and other servicing costs on this debt will begin to take a proportionately larger part of GDP, constraining economic growth and jeopardising living standards. If prolonged, this may lead to a debt trap scenario. Lee s play Inherit The Wind opinions do not define the people who advocate them. Each character in this play has viewpoints that influence their actions. The bravery, honesty and determination required to express an opinion defines a person more than the opinion, allowing one to respect a man who advocates unpopular opinions. When a man stands up for his beliefs despite their unpopularity, he exemplifies great bravery. While Bertram Cates may not have been the most brave man when the trial began, he later addresses the courtroom by saying, I feel I am... I have been convicted of violating an unjust law. I will continue in the future, as I have in the past, to oppose this law in any way I can, (115). Bert bravely states his point of view in his speech and makes it clear that he stands behind Darwinism. While picking the jury members, Drummond [objects] to all [the] Colonel talk, (42) because he believes it interferes with a fair trial. In addition to annoying Brady, Drummond objects to the title because he is brave enough to stand up to what he thinks is unjust. On a more general note, Drummond had the bravery to go to Hillsboro as the defense attorney for Bert even though winning the case was nearly impossible and there was no pay. Although their opinions were not popular in the play, Bert and Drummond show great bravery by standing up for ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 29. Bill Gates Vs Bill Gates Similarities For people in my own age group, our oldest memories of computers are most likely the pinball game on Windows XP, and Google s website showing a different font. A little earlier than that, documents were saved on floppy disks instead of USB drives, and before that, network connections were made over a phone line. However, it is hard for anyone to imagine a time when having a computer on every desk and in every home was regarded as an impossibility, even if they remember those years (Academy of Achievement). The personal computer has evolved into an essential tool in the daily lives of most Americans, because of the wave of innovations that Bill Gates kicked off in 1975. Bill Gates was raised as a fierce competitor, which he demonstrated at a young age when waterskiing or playing tennis with his family. However, he was even more intense when he went up against intellectual challenges, which his parents found out soon after enrolling him in the Lakeside School. In 1967, a terminal was set up in the Seattle private school, which could use the resources of an off site computer for the duration of a paid session, and Gates was immediately hooked. Along with Paul Allen, he learned the programming language, BASIC, which was in use at the time, and the two students took every opportunity for computer time they could get. When Paul Allen reflected on this time, he noted one key difference between Gates and himself: Where I was curious to study everything in sight, Bill would ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 31. The Gift Of Language In Fifteen Dogs By Andre Alexis In the novel, Fifteen Dogs by André Alexis, Greek gods Hermes and Apollo make a bet that if they gave any animal the gift of intelligence, the animals would be even more unhappy than humans. In making this bet, fifteen dogs are granted the gift of intelligence allowing them to be able to communicate through their own newly formed language and become self aware. At first, the dogs band together to form a pack, but quickly realize how language complicates their ability to work together. With the gift of intelligence, the dogs become individuals and think separately rather than working with a pack mentality. There is no longer harmony between the dogs, but instead a fight for dominance and a battle of intelligence. We will identify how language eroded the pack through disagreements and violence as the dogs become aware of their status and differences. The dogs first run into difficulty with their gift of intelligence when it becomes obvious to them that there are different levels of comprehension of their ability to communicate using their new language. Prince is a dog who shows a deeper understanding and love for language compared to the others. We see Alexis bring this point out in the novel when he says, Prince s words had not been meant as a warning. Rather, he had been playing. He had been pretending. He had been speaking for speaking s sake. Could there be a more despicable use for words? (28). Prince, being a very clever and curious dog, begins to expand the language, ... In this 5 story parking garage, can one dry valve serve all 5 levels of parking or is each level subject to the 52,000 sq. ft. limitation? In response to your question, we have reviewed NFPA 13, 2010 edition that you indicated as the applicable standard. Our informal interpretation is that only one dry pipe valve is required but there are water delivery restrictions. Check valves with drain connections are not required per floor but it is possible to install them. There are two criteria that must be satisfied. • 33. Essay about Gaap and Ifrs Convergence GAAP and IFRS Convergence Kenneth DeWitte Strayer University 1. Describe IFRS and GAAP and what convergence means. The International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is the accounting framework used by the European Union, Japan, Canada, and other world economic leaders. The IFRS is based on the tenets of understandability, reliability, and comparability. It is based off the International Accounting Standards (IAS) and had the opportunity to be built from accounting ideas and principles used across the world. In recent years it also has had the chance to look at the United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and modify the rules to enhance clarity and consistency, intentionally setting itself apart from U.S. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... 2. Analyze how convergence will affect public companies, accounting firms, and small and medium companies. I can see the convergence making life much simpler for public companies. There will now be no need to have two sets of financial data when doing business overseas. This means less accounting staff and saved revenue. Also there will be a level of comparability between domestic and foreign companies that will allow for sound analysis and investing. This will lead to better decisions being made and hopefully some growth. For smaller businesses there will not be much change other than the change in presentation form. As for accounting firms though, there will be a need for training as each new rule is implemented by FASB. This means a rise in the demand for accountants versed in both GAAP and IFRS. 3. Evaluate at least three significant differences and similarities between IFRS and GAAP and the impact these similarities and differences can have on financial statements. Three very significant differences between the IFRS and GAAP are revenue recognition, expense recognition, and inventory costing methods. The revenue recognition for GAAP is a broad system having many categories, but for IFRS revenue can fall into four distinct categories. The GAAP presentation is much clearer as to where the money is coming from. This leads to a much easier to read format. Expense recognition for GAAP is that you would record the ... • 35. The Consequences Of Julius Jones And The Jonestown Massacre All across America, television sets display nine hundred and nine dead bodies. These bodies, in aluminum coffins, came over to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. Tax payers were irate at possibly having to pay for all the embalming and burial costs ( The Horror, 28). Embalming and burial costs are expensive and many people lost sympathy for cult members. So, people opposed paying for the consequences of the Jonestown massacre. Jim Jones realized he was losing control over the People s Temple, leading to the Jonestown massacre. Then in 1975, he uprooted his followers and isolated them in Jonestown, Guyana. Jones began instructing his followers to commit a revolutionary suicide (Twemlow 224). The People s Temple s actions concerned many family members and outsiders, which sparked Congressman Leo Ryan s involvement. Congressman Leo Ryan and some reporters were on a mission to rescue Americans from Jonestown. On November 18, 1978, Jim Jones was paranoid that his reign over Jonestown would come crashing down when some of his followers went with Congressman Ryan. Jones used a mass suicide to remain in control. Many people of Jonestown drank the poisonous Kool Aid. When people resisted, Jones loyal followers injected hesitant followers with the poison. Jones ordered the murder of Congressman Ryan and was responsible for the deaths of nine hundred and nine Americans. Most people would contend that no one would turn down a special job opportunity when it arises. I highly support this notion and accordingly, I would not expect people to turn down a chance to doing a project organization as exhibited by Bert Mill. This is because such chances are rare and far between. Furthermore, the chance of joining the project organization provides employees with an opportunity for him to develop his experience. Project organization provides employees with an opportunity to develop their management and planning skills (Turner, 2009). Employees are, therefore, exposed to new skills that would be of great benefit to them in building their careers. This justification is enough to make anyone take the position that Mill was offered in the project organization. • 37. The Effects of Advancements in Lighting on The Theatre... Without light, the theatre cannot exist, that much is certain. As actors, as audience members, as technical visionaries, we are only as powerful as the light we are given. The extent to which we depend upon light in performance has changed dramatically throughout history, however, as light technology developed and expanded. In the history of performance, the artistic community is constantly victim to the limits of lighting technology, and exponentially altered by breakthroughs. From the utilization of candles and natural light to isolated light and electricity, the histories of illumination and theatre are virtually inseparable, and continue to push the boundaries of live performance. Having only heightened text and elaborate spectacles to guide them, much of the subtlety, specificity, and emotion must have been lost in translation. Additionally, indoor performances, primarily requested by courts and nobility, specifically used candles and torches as sources of illumination. Candles were placed at the front of the stage, between the wings leading to the stage, and above both the stage in order to frame the players. Chandeliers were also hung above those in attendance, to create a sense of audience. This marks both the first appearances of footlights in the theatre and, though basic, the beginning of a formulaic structure for lighting a performance space. Issues prevailed, however there were still no successful methods for specific lighting, unless an actor held the light themselves to illuminate their face, nor were colored lights or gobo devices available. Though lighting was making its way into the theatrical world, it was purely technical, not called upon to be inventive, create illusions or accomplish tasks at this point in time. Limited design innovations were mostly rooted in the scarce advancements made with regard to lighting technology. Where this began to change and evolve was in the early 1800s, when the gaslight was introduced into the performing arts sphere. The new technology was brought into the theatre industry by William Murdoch and later F.A. Winsor, who used the lights to replace candles in framing the stage ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Shelley s complex family dynamic her conflicted relationship with her father, her need to please her mentor/husband with literary success, her infants deaths enhances the intrigue of the novel and suggests multiple themes and layered meanings.
