Cars In The Great Gatsby
In the novel, The Great Gatsby, cars serve as status symbols for various characters functioning to
criticize the material carelessness of wealthy people in American Society. Moreover, Fitzgerald
highlights the interactions concerning a character and their car to reveal the deceitful nature of people
and their disregard for mankind. Fitzgerald utilizes Gatsby s car as a focal point to illuminate his
obsessive nature to impress, revealing his affection for Daisy but carelessness for who it affects long
term. The narrator describes, It was a rich cream color, bright with nickel, swollen here and there in its
monstrous length ... and terraced with a labyrinth of windshields that mirrored a dozen suns (64). Here
Fitzgerald indicates the absurdity ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The author enforces Tom as a character foil to Wilson to prove that Wilson is merely a piece of Tom s
game, who willingly and blindly places his faith on untrustworthy liabilities like the blue coupe.
Critics like O Meara identify Wilson and Gatsby as separate from Tom as she describes, Wilson and
Gatsby are indifferent ... but they make the mistake of seeing material possessions rather than
themselves as the best means for attracting and keeping their women (O Meara). Unlike Gatsby s
motives that surround an unattainable dream, Wilson s hopes are uncorrupt. By obtaining the blue
coupe he is able to reimage himself to escape the harshness of the past. However, Myrtle s death
instigates Wilson into a state beyond caring about the blue coupe and Tom heartlessly responds,
Wreck! Said Tom. That s good. Willson ll have a little business at last (137). Unaware who was
involved in the crash and unfazed by a possible death, the author reveals Tom s insensitivity toward
people as a whole. The fact that he perceives this event as benefiting Wilson, highlights his heartless
nature and the author draws parallels between cars and

How Does Metamorphic Rocks Play A Role In The Formation Of...
Although convection current in the earth layer are closely associated with the movements of the
tectonic plates they also play a role in the formation of rocks, such as the igneous and metamorphic
rocks. Igneous rocks form through the solidification of magma or lava. This can occur in two different
places, on earth surface and under earth surface. Rocks that form on earth surface are called extrusive,
rocks that form under earth s surface are intrusive plutonic rocks. A Metamorphic rock is formed when
the protolithic rock is exposed to heat and pressure. There are also two different type of metamorphic
rocks contact and regional metamorphic rocks. The process of the formation of igneous rocks begin all
the way down in the Earth s mantle. The mantle consisted of hot magma that is constantly moving due
to the convection currents. Convection is the heat transfer of liquid and gases .As the bottom of the
mantle begin to heat up, the magma rises to the top because it becomes less dense. Once it reaches the
top it cools off and becomes more dense and fall back to the bottom and the cycle of convection begin
again. At times, the magma will rise all the way to the top of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Dependency Theory in Society
Dependency theory appeared in the 20th century 50`s. The main topics that are included in
dependency theory are historical materialism connected with other critical traditions, a partnership
between developed countries and developing countries, interaction between a core and a periphery.
Dependency theory mainly is used to talk about Western societies and Third World countries.
Foundation of the dependency theory is Marxism, also it prefigures post structuralism, and the
dependency theory stands for opposite opinion about economical growth and its affect, than
neoliberals do. The Dependency theory doesn t look at economical activities from positive side,
especially when it is done by world s richest countries. Richest countries economical activities always
affect poorer countries, especially they cause economical problems. The dependency theory has
evolved from two main sources, first is from the United States and other is from Latin America. In the
United States the dependency theory developed because of the socialist journal Monthly Review,
where neo Marxist thoughts were summarized and were published a publications about different social
organizations. Previously the dependency theory was called as theory of monopoly capitalism, but
later it was recalled as we know it now. The thought about the dependency theory rose from observed
stagnation in the Third World, where bourgeoisies were acting like they want and did not take into
account other opinions. If school of

Air Pollution In Bakersfield California
Bakersfield California is a fun place for people to go on vacation. There is Beach Park, located near
the city that has playing fields, bike paths, skate parks, and barbeque pits. There are lakes to go water
skiing and boating, also Kern River County Park that has 50 campsites for a family to bring their
children to enjoy a nice outdoor vacation. Restaurants, that force you to try new things and have the
experience of eating in an older restaurant building. However, what most people don t know is that
Bakersfield, California is the most polluted places in the United States. In this paper, I will go over the
pollution problems, geographic factors, climate conditions, and social activities that contribute to the
buildup of air pollution in Bakersfield, California.
Bakersfield California, located near the Southern end of San Joaquin Valley in Southern California,

Charter Of Rights And Freedoms Essay
In Canada, we as Canadians live in a country in which our values are protected and respected, and this
is all thanks to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. As a part of the Canadian Constitution,
the Charter sets out those rights and freedoms that Canadians believe are necessary in our country.
Since its enactment in 1982, the Charter has improved all Canadian citizen s ability to participate in
society.1 So, today, I am here to convince you that the Charter is a key contributor to Canada as it
helped shaped Canada into the nation it is today.
To begin, the Charter guarantees the rights of individuals and allows Canadians to live in a free and
democratic society. It is organized into different sections such as fundamental freedoms, democratic
rights, mobility rights, language rights, and so on.1 To help you further understand the Charter, let s
take a look at a photograph of the official document. Under the Equality ... Show more content on

Formally, the Canadian Constitution was a British law as Canada was still controlled by Great Britain.
Looking at a historical perspective, we see that creating the Charter of Rights and Freedoms was a
declaration of Canadian independence from Britain. This allowed Canada to create our own laws to
directly address Canadian issues. The Charter of Rights and Freedoms is historically significant as it
was a huge jump in Canadian development. Before the Charter was approved, other Canadian laws
that protected our rights and freedoms were combined in order to create the charter, such as the
Canadian Bill of Rights.2 The Bill of Rights enacted in 1960 and was replaced by the Charter of
Rights and Freedoms.4 Although many of the same rights and freedoms protected by the Charter were
included in the Bill of Rights, the Charter enhances the protections provided to Canadians by
increasing the number of the extent of our rights and

As mentioned in the Edmonton Police Service Strategy, the three areas that coincided with the City of
Edmonton s development plans are: the way we live, the way we grow, and the way we move (2013).
All three of these plans were developed to document how Edmonton was going to change. The Way
We Live (2017) focused on living in a safe and clean community, andwhere well being was a large
factor in decisions that were made. The Way We Grow (2017) took into consideration how the city
was going to grow with more people staying for longer periods of time. It focused on the
redevelopment of older areas within Edmonton, which could draw more people into downtown and
into less safe communities. Lastly,The Way We Move (2017), withnew modes of transportation and
the idea of minimizing one s footprint, more people are using ride share and public transit. With more
people utilizing this, there would need for an increase in traffic safety which is imperative in a
growing city. These three plans are unavoidable; however, with the growth of a city, the police force
will require more resources to try and keep up with expansion. These can include: more officers, new
buildings, more money being allotted, and new information (Edmonton Police Service, 2013).The

Perspectives on the Book of Job Essay
The Book of Job is one of the three books in the Hebrew bible whose genre is described as wisdom
literature.1 Certainly the Book of Job satisfies the literary conventions that qualify a biblical book for
such status. 2 Yet Job may be associated with wisdom in a much more literal sense. The Book of Job
attempts to deal with a problematic question that confronts suffering humanity: why do bad things
happen to good people? The variety and vehemence of commentators contemporary responses to this
chapter of the Bible is testament to the continued relevance of the Book of Job s wisdom thousands of
years after it was written. Although the commentators examined herein arrive at differing and
sometimes conflicting conclusions after ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As always, God tests those human beings to whom he is close and whom he loves. 8 It is unclear
whether Buber bases the preceding statement on his personal opinion or on the biblical text. Buber
points out that Job s plaintive cries constitute a form of prayer, and in fact cement his relationship with
God. Buber concludes that Job passed God s test, successfully bore witness to his God 9 and has the
eternal mission of serving God. One comes away from Buber with the impression that both God s
behavior and Job suffering are morally justified.
In contrast to Buber s vindication of God s role and glorification of Job s suffering, C. G. Jung
excoriates God for his crimes 10 in an excerpt from Answer to Job11. Setting an irreverent tone, Jung
begins by stating that God s thunderings... completely miss the point 12 by failing to address Job s
questions, demonstrating God s self absorption. Jung points out that God s self aggrandizing diatribe
only makes sense if directed towards a doubting thought , which can only be Satan. Jung suggests that
God has turned his verbal displeasure on Job rather than Satan in order to avoid facing the fact that he
was duped by Satan into sanctioning the punishment of his most faithful follower.
Job realizes that the self centered God speaking from the whirlwind has no interest in Job s rights, and
thus Job has no choice but to retract his demand for justice 13 and submit to the divine omnipotence

Psycho Parlour Scene
Parlour Scene Analysis In the 1960 horror Psycho , a lot is revealed to the audience about the
characters in the parlour scene. It is a crucial scene in the film due to the fact it is where the audience
starts to see Norman s true intentions. Normally, the baddie is portrayed as harsh and unlikeable,
however Norman comes across as friendly and an overall likeable person. However, during this scene
we start to see a different side to Norman that suggests he may have ulterior motives. In this scene, the
lighting is very telling about the characters. The only light source in the scene comes from a lamp
which Marion sits next to and, as seen in the screenshot above, illuminates her face. This use of
lighting suggests how Marion is overall ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When we see Norman at this point, the large birds of prey on the wall seem to loom over him, and we
are given the impression that his mother too looms over and shadows him and that he feels threatened
by her. The audience does start to sympathise with Norman at this point, but, because of the shadow
that is across his face, the possibility that he is a dark and sinister character stays there and we still feel
threatened by him. Also, at this stage in Norman and Marion s conversation, the shot of Norman goes
from a medium close up to a close up, as seen below. This has been done so that the audience can
closely see Norman s emotions and the way he feels about his mother s situation. The way the shot is
closer when it cuts back to Norman gives the scene an urgent feeling and combined with Norman s
passionate dialogue, it gives an intense sense to this part of the scene. This has been done to fully
illustrate exactly how intense and forceful Norman can be and so the audience feels uneasy about what
Norman may be capable

The exposure to the radiation released will not only result in heightened risks for cancer in
populations, but may also result in other, non cancer related health problems such as thyroid diseases,
visual impairment, circulatory diseases, hereditary disorders and teratogenic defects (developmental
defects in fetuses). It is important that exposure to radiation be estimated so that cancer risks can be
estimated and appropriate responses and health measures can be implemented by governments to deal
with future development in health problems related to the release of radiation from Fukushima. In
2013 the World Health Organization released its health risk assessment for the Fukushima Daiichi
Nuclear disaster concluding that for the general population the lifetime risk for some cancers may be
somewhat elevated above baseline rates for certain age and sex groups that were in the areas most
affected and that disease attributable to the disaster is likely to remain below detectable levels. In 2012
Ten Hoeve and Jacobson provided the first estimates of the health impact of the Fukushima nuclear
accident, estimating an additional 15 to 1100 (most likely 130) cancer related mortalities for the
general population. Both Sophisticated modeling to come to these conclusions. This work to attempts

Explain How To Properly Saddle A Horse In A Western Saddle
Within this essay you will walk through the process of how to properly saddle a horse in a Western
saddle. Therefor, Bob will be your imaginary horse used to aid you while navigating through the steps
to completing this task safely and effectively. Listen close and saddle up! Imagine yourself at a
beautiful barn in the countryside early one morning. You have just finished brushing your beautiful,
noble black steed named Bob . You are now ready to saddle him. When saddling Bob, the first task
necessary to complete is placing the saddle pad, or blanket, on his back. You should place it high up
on his withers (the spot between the neck and the back). Next, slide the blanket slightly towards the
back of the horse. This helps to smooth down the horse s hair underneath the saddle pad, alleviating
potential discomfort. (www.artofmanliness.com). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

saddle is an effortless way to compact the appendages. In addition to this making the saddle easier to
carry it also enables you to set the saddle atop Bob with a decreased injury rate toward him.
Furthermore, there is greater ease on your end with having fewer accessories to concern yourself with
when done this way. When the saddle is in place you can release the stirrups from on top of the

Sucrose Concentration Lab Report
The hypothesis I previously had was that if the sucrose concentration increases, then the rate of water
movement increases. I have chosen to accept this hypothesis because my data proves it to be true.
Based on my data, as the sucrose concentration is lower, the average change in mass is less than when
the sucrose concentration is higher. This is because more water has to travel in or out of the dialysis
bag in order to help dilute the high concentration of the solution in the beaker down to even it out with
the concentration inside of the dialysis bag. Also, I noticed that having the water in the beaker and the
sucrose molarity inside a dialysis bag always results in the water being hypotonic to the dialysis bag.
When looking at the situation where we were given the unkown sucrose molarity solution within the
beaker and the known sucrose molarity solutions in the dialysis bags the results turned out to be
hypertonic, isotonic and hypotonic on different parts of the graph. ... Show more content on

In addition, the sucrose solution with the unknown molarity is isotonic to the dialysis bag when the
line crosses the x axis. This is because of the fact that there is no change in mass here which means the
solutions must be of an equivilent concentration. Also, when it comes to the solution in the dialysis
bag being of a higher concentration than that of the unknown sucrose molarity concentration within
the beaker, the dialysis bag gained mass. This is because the unknown solution is hypotonic to the
dialysis bag, causing water to enter the bag. There were many possible sources of error for this lab.

a. Some of the pros of family plans are:
i. It is definitely cheaper. ii. You have a leader who will remind you when to pay the bills. How
convenient is that?! That is, if you choose a good leader. And if you ended up being the leader, you get
to score some time management skills and you get to boss people around!

With rapid change in the economic environment managers and scholars have been motivated to seek
competitive advantages through new sources. The role of a skilled, motivated and flexible workforce

Conversely Jessica Miller from the SHRM Blog suggests that the effectiveness of parental strategic
management is curtailed by its design limitations. The alignment of the policy or practice defines how
a convention fits within a workplace structure, therefore ineffective strategy is usually preceded by
poor structural fit rather than poor implementation. Miller infers that both good and bad parenting will
have reciprocal impacts on a workforce . Academic studies support these findings, Huselid (1997)
performed a cluster analysis of four firms with different HR strategies. The weak clusters were
characterised by poorly planned human capital goals that were irrelevant to the workplace. The high
performance clusters reflected smart design supported with effective communication and above
average levels of management support. The correlation of alignment and effectiveness of HR strategy
is consistent with the prior work of Gehart Milkovich (1992) that poor design is the underlying trait

Ecofeminism
The first part of this essay will outline the main arguments of the feminist ecologists and deal with the
concept of Ecofeminism. The second part will sketch the main arguments of Rosemary Radford

Witchcraft as Goddess Religion , The Homeric Hymn to Demeter, and the Descent of Inanna and
examine the pros and cons of the position that a return to goddess worship would save our planet.

Patriarchy is a system of social structures and practices in which men dominate, oppress, and exploit
women. It is based on an ideology of men s superiority over women/nature. The subordination takes
various forms: discrimination, disregard, insult, control, exploitation, oppression, and violence.
Science and religion support patriarchal assumptions of male superiority over nature and women as
biologically determined. In pre patriarchal, pagan societies, women and nature were worshiped as life
givers. In Christian belief, God creates man in his image, and women and nature for the benefit of
man. Adam is Soul, Eve is Flesh .
Ecological feminists (Gaard, Heller) argue that culture defines the connection of women and nature.
Men are as much part of nature as women are. However, the patriarchal culture identifies women with
body, sex, irrationality, passivity, and earth. It is decided that women are closer to nature. Men identify
with spirit, mind, action, and power; they are rational, stable, reliable, and intelligent. Maria Mies and
Vandana Shiva (1993) observe that women are more concerned about subsistence survival perspective
than are men, most of who continue to believe that more growth, technology, science, and progress
will simultaneously solve the ecological and economic crises. During the Chipko struggles in India
women participated in hugging

East Coast Bloods Research Paper
The most commonly known gang in the area are the Bloods. According to many of the detectives in
the office, they are the most vicious and most violent gangs they have ever encountered. State versus
Gillens and Mercer are one of those encounters. The Bloods, or the United Blood Nation, was
developed around 1972. The Crips were dominating the streets of L.A. and were battling with multiple
street gangs. After a rumble with the street gang Pirus and murdering an L.A. Brim, the street gangs
had enough of the Crip s intimidation. They decided to unite all the street gangs which consisted of the
Piru Street Boys in Compton, L.A. Brim, the Pueblos, the Bishops, Athens Park Boys, and the Denver
Lanes. Soon enough they called their new gang the Bloods and took on the color red to show their
opposition against the Crips (Savelli, 2002). In 1993, the Bloods made their way over to the East
Coast and developed within the New York City jail system on Riker s Island George Mochen
Detention Center. It was formed as a means of protection for African American inmates from the Latin
Kings (Savelli, 2002). Soon enough, the East Coast Bloods flooded out of the jail system and onto the
streets of New York and New Jersey. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Mercer and his posse were set on fighting Shackleford and Shackleford refused because he was with

WEEK 2: In this chapter, the authors go into great detail outlining the nature of ancient Mayan
numerical and calendrical systems and their concept of astronomy. Given that the text is found in The
Ancient Maya, and written by established Mayan scholars such as Morely, Brainerd and Sharer, I have
few doubts on the validity and trustworthiness of this reading. The text is well researched and the
authors go into meticulous detail outlining the various systems and make references to many
archaeological sources such as ancient stelae and colonial accounts by Diego de Landa. While there is
no denying that this is an interesting and informative read, it is unclear to me how this reading can be

This classification is important to make, as despite the fact that Cortés was present and an active
participant in the encounter, this does not guarantee an honest account of the events. It is important to
keep in mind, that in writing the letters, Cortés had a personal and political agenda and sought to
justify and legitimise his actions. In reading the two texts, there are inconsistencies in the manner that
Cortés and Moctezuma met and greeted one another and in the nature of the conversations that took
place between them. The most notable being the absence of Malintzin or Doña Marina from Cortes
account. The absence of Doña Marina from Cortés accounts are particularly interesting to me given
her occupation as Cortés mediator and translator throughout the conquest. However, given the fact that
Cortés way trying to undermine his rival Diego Velazquez, it is probable that he wanted to portray
himself in the best light, and claim sole responsibility for his success. While Cortés fails to mention
Marina, she is referenced several times in Sahagún s codex. In the illustrations done by native artists,
she is depicted several times. In one of the images, she is standing between Cortés and Moctezuma,
elaborately dressed and clearly a central figure of communication and negotiation between the two
parties. It is interesting that given the little references made to her in the written texts, her appearance
in the illustrations clearly indicate that the Nahuas recognised her role and importance to the

The Supreme Court Ruling On Gay Marriages
Its time for me to share my opinion and perspective regarding the Supreme Court ruling on gay

rather a story to tell which will enlighten anyone who chooses to read this as to what my true
perspective and opinion regarding gay marriages. (and gay people in general as a Christian)
A few months ago I faced a difficult time in my life. I was homeless and I had nowhere to stay with
my newborn baby. To my dismay, there was no family who would have the ability to take me in. They
had helped me enough in their eyes regarding sheltering me, so I was abruptly kicked out of my
grandmothers house I was staying in and face the option to find shelter in a homeless shelter.
But let me back up a second. A couple weeks before my life made a turn for the worse, I met a girl on
Facebook who was a photographer. We collaborated together on eventually meeting up to take
pictures of my newborn, however, at that time I did not have any money because I was on maternity
leave and not working.
Looking at her beautiful work as a photographer, I knew one day I would have her take pictures of my
baby I just did not know when.
Then suddenly one day she messaged me and offered me free pictures of my newborn in exchange of
being able to build her newborn portfolio.
Thrilled at her offer, I jumped at the opportunity, literally jumping in my car the same day she made
the offer.

What Can Stop Kids From Dropping Out By David L. Kirp
David L. Kirp, a professor of public policy at the University of California, Berkeley, wrote a New
York Times article in April 2016 regarding one of America s leading problems. The purpose of this
final essay is to summarize the article, critique it, analyze the article using the definition of successful
intelligence as the analytical tool, and finally conclude by answering the so what question. Kirp s
article entitled, What Can Stop Kids from Dropping Out, begins by citing some startling statistics; the
number of college dropouts is severely damaging our economic system. According to the article, and
an American Institute for Research, $4.5 billion is being lost in earnings and taxes nationwide due to
this issue. The article goes on to explain how this is not just a problem, but how it is a scandal.
Colleges are blaming high schools for the number of students whom arrive at college and quickly drop
out. Kirp explains that it isn t the high school s fault. Colleges don t provide enough academic
feedback, financial assistance, or personalized attention for their students. Georgia State is looking to
solve the issue at their own school. They have taken steps to reach out to students as soon as they start
to lose interest in their studies. They hire upperclassmen as tutors; they know that students are more
likely to go to their peers for help rather than professors. Georgia State provides small grants for
students who need the extra few hundred dollars

Fangirl Summary
I have finished reading Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. This book is about a young woman named Cath
and how college changes her relationships and creates new ones. In the second half of this book, the
reader sees how Cath s relationship with her twin sister, Wren, is on unstable grounds. The sisters
differing personalities and different opinions on what college life should be about, causes this rift
between them. Cath s relationship with her mother begins to change also. Cath resents her mother
because her mother left when she was eight. Cath then had to take over the matriarchal position in the
household and lost parts of her childhood because of that, so when Cath s mother asks to be a part of
Cath s life, Cath staunchly refuses. Cath also starts ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the novel, the author foreshadowed to Cath s father having a mental breakdown. An example of the
foreshadowing of the breakdown is Cath s father calling Cath sporadically. Often times, he would call
Cath with unhinged ideas, seeking her opinion. He would also call Cath at bizarre times of the day, or
he would go days without calling. One of the ideas he called Cath with was having a slide go down
from her room to the bathroom. These details help to foreshadow to a possible mental crisis. The
reader can also see foreshadowing for a mental breakdown in Cath s father s self care. Cath has to call
him and remind him to eat healthy meals. When she does not call he eats pizza, does not do laundry,
and overworks. When Cath goes to see her father, she sees empty pizza boxes and piles of laundry
littering the floor. Cath s father s worsening standards of hygiene foreshadowed to a mental
breakdown later in the book. Another evaluation I made is that the author wrote Levi as a foil to Cath.
An example of Levi and Cath s contrasting characteristics is their reading habits. Levi dislikes reading
because he feels like when he reads his eyes take in information but his brain does not understand. On
the other hand, Cath is very passionate about reading. She reads her own fanfiction constantly and
occasionally fits in time to read other fanfiction relating to Simon Snow. I believe that the author
created this contrast to provide a way for the

An astute railroad surgeon, witnessing the jostling of sick and wounded civil wars soldiers during

It was during World Wars I II when hospital cars were custom built as military medical transport. Thus

But once you know about the benefits of long distance running, you ll be excited to get your feet on
the running track.
1. Burns Calories
Okay, this one is an obvious but major benefit of long distance running. Nothing else can burn your
calories like a long run can. Do you know that running burns calories faster than any other physical
activity or exercise in the world. It turns your body into a fat burning machine. You can burn more
than 500 calories in a single 30 minute run. Running for long distances helps in improving after burn
capabilities of your body, which means that your body is capable of burning fat even after running.
Apart from burning some serious calories, running also improves your metabolism, which means that
your body can now process more calories efficiently. Thus, it prevents calories from becoming body
fat in the first place.
2. Better Sleep
One of the major advantages of long distance running is that it improves the overall quality of your
sleep. It also positively affects your sleeping patterns. Regular long distance runners sleep faster and
deeper for longer intervals of time without waking up. It is also known that individuals who run long
distances are less likely to develop insomnia or other sleep related

The Bluest Eye Literary Devices
Through the prologue there is symbolism, distortion and imagery that shows what is to come in the
Bluest Eyes. Mother, Father, Dick and Jane appear to represent the perfect family. They also appear to
be white although not directly stated. The Bluest Eyes is a story of racism and how mean people can
be. It is also a story of people wanting to be something they can never be. This showing how other
people s thoughts can hold so much value whether they are positive or negative. There is also no such
thing as perfect family which the prologue alludes to no matter what background you are. In the start,
it says Who will play with Jane? No one ends up playing with Jane as to show how she gets ignored.
The theme in this story is so much of these kids wanting to be white because they believe that to be
perfect. Pecola goes through this story constantly getting ignored by everyone. Claudia even becomes
jealous of a girl who is light skinned and falls into the belief that she wishes she was white. The
reference of the mother just laughing and the father being strong relates to the characters in the story
as well. Cholly is not strong in this story as he has had a tough life. ... Show more content on

largest assignment that I was given was to aid a contracting engineer with a power distribution project
for the plant. Power distribution is the transfer of energy, or electricity, from one location to another.
However In order to understand power transfer from generation to distribution it is important to
understand the process from start to finish. AC (Alternating Current) is used for this transfer because
of its ability to transmit over longer distance with lower losses by using transformers. Power is lost in
transmission lines due to its resistance, the longer the transmission line the higher its resistance will
be, however when using polyphase AC current we are able to change the voltage levels through the
use of transformers. There are step up transformers and step down transformers both are used when
transporting power from one location to another. Starting from the Generation of the electricity, which
is created by many possible processes, the voltage is significantly

be forgotten and never return to the castle. The queen arranged for the baby to be brought to the edge
of the kingdom, where she was left on the doorstep of an elderly blacksmith and his wife. The
blacksmith and his wife brought the child into their home and raised her as their own. Despite their old
age, they had missed having a child in their home, as their son had boarded one of the ships passing
through the harbor long ago, never to be seen or heard from again. Years passed, and the baby grew to
become a beautiful girl. However, as the girl aged, the elderly blacksmith and his wife had aged as
well. And by the girl s twelfth year, both the blacksmith and his wife had passed. Now it just so
happened that the town, which received many new visitors each day due to its location by the harbor,
had recently welcomed a new arrival; a physician, set to take the place of the previous town doctor
who had decided to leave on one of the ships passing though the harbor. However,

Essay On Gonorrhea
Gonorrhea, or more commonly known as the clap , is an infectious disease that is spread most
commonly via sexual intercourse. It is most commonly spread from males to females. Behind
chlamydia, gonorrhea is the most reported sexually transmitted disease and is also the second most
commonly reported notifiable disease. In 2015, 395,216 new cases of gonorrhea were reported in the
United States. This sexually transmitted disease is most common among the African American
population and has higher rates of infection in the southern part of the United States (Nursing). The
southern parts of the United States generally have higher sexually transmitted disease rates than the
northern states. In particular, Mississippi has very high rates of sexually ... Show more content on

Mild cases of the disease are usually mistreated because they are mistaken for another problem. These
mild cases in females are usually mistreated with over the counter yeast infection drugs. Gonorrhea
can be treated with the right prescription from a doctor. This will be an antibiotic that will be either
taken orally or injected. It is essential to finish all the antibiotics even when feeling normal again to
prevent the infection from coming back. People infected should wait one week after finishing the
treatment before having sexual intercourse of any kind to insure not spreading the disease to their
partner. It is essential to be treated. If not treated, women may have ectopic pregnancies or may even
become infertile. For men, not treating gonorrhea causes pain in the testicles or may cause him to
become sterile. For both sexes, a rare condition may occur where the infection spreads to the joints or
blood, this condition is life threatening. Having gonorrhea also increases the chances of getting other
sexually transmitted diseases (Johnson). It is essential to use condoms to help protect against this
disease. While condoms are not affective all the time, they help cut sexually transmitted disease rates
down. Having a monogamous relationship with one sexual partner also ends the risk of getting these
diseases if both people have been previously tested. This method ends the risk of contracting a
sexually transmitted disease all

Folly Of Choice Research Paper
If there are no good choices how much responsibility for the outcome rests with the chooser? In 2005
many people evacuated themselves from the New Orleans area in anticipation of one of history s most
powerful storms, Hurricane Katrina. Others chose not to until a mandatory evacuation notice went out
one day before the storm hit. Despite this order to leave many residents remained in their homes.
Some of these people died. Others lost everything they had except their lives. The public blamed these
people for the folly of their choice. Michael Brown of FEMA was quoted as saying the high death toll
was attributable a lot to people who did not heed the advance warning. (Brown CNN.com 2005) Radio
personality Neal Boortz said that people should ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The question is about who gets to decide. Decide to be stupid or thoughtful; shortsighted or mature. To
decide based on risks or how one is viewed by others. Choice is complex but ultimately we do make
the choices that affect the direction of our days. These decisions are not made in a vacuum. Research
shows that there are many influences that factor into the process. From too little information to too
much information or even the wrong information. Some factors are out of our control, such as
biological responses and others can be mitigated with education, insight, and awareness on our part.
We assume that having more choices is good, chafing at whatever might try to limit them. Yet too
many choices can inhibit our ability to make good choices. Choice overload causes us to delay
decisions, make poor decisions and be less satisfied with what we choose. Our upbringing and the
environmental context of our lives shape our understanding of the options available to us. Our moral
conscience, our sense of responsibility, giving consideration to consequences and the effects on others
guide what options are deemed acceptable. They also sometimes show that the only choices available
can have no good outcomes. Do we make our own choices? Yes, we do, but Once we take into account
the influences...the scope of our choices is much narrower than we have long assumed. (Greenfield

Analysis Of What s That Smell In The Kitchen
What s That Smell in the Kitchen? Marge Piercy s What s That Smell in the Kitchen is a poem that
expresses through descriptive language the difficulty of women s lives. By making What s That Smell
in the Kitchen simple, Piercy uses repetition, imagery, and similes to portray women s lives. First,
Piercy uses repetition to make the readers reminded. Women (Lines 1 and 7) show how it is more than
one women working hard. Her (Lines 9, 12, 14, and 18) points out an individual women s possessions
such as feelings or food. She (Lines 13, 15, and 20) is also representing an individual women, but
instead it is giving off her actions. Piercy using repetition of women, her, and she specify only women
have hard lives. Second, Piercy uses Imagery

How Myringotomy Is A Surgical Procedure
Myringotomy is a surgical procedure in which a small incision is made in the eardrum (the tympanic
membrane), usually in both ears. The English word is derived from myringa, modern Latin for drum
membrane, and tome, Greek for cutting. It is also called myringocentesis, tympanotomy,
tympanostomy of the tympanic membrane. Fluid in the middle ear can be drawn out through the
incision. Ear tubes, or tympanostomy tubes, are small tubes open at both ends that are inserted into the
incisions in the eardrums during myringotomy. They come in various shapes and sizes and are made
of plastic, metal, or both. Eustachian tube is a 35mm long auditory tube, functions to connect the
middle ear to the upper pharynx. They are left in place until they fall out by themselves or until they
are removed by a doctor. Fluid collection that lasts longer than three months and does not respond to
drug treatment. This condition is also called glue ear. Myringotomy is the recommended treatment if
the condition lasts four to six months. Effusion refers to the collection of fluid that escapes from blood
vessels or the lymphatic system. In this case, the effusion collects in the middle ear. Acute
inflammation of the middle ear with effusion is treated with one or two courses of antibiotics .
Antihistamines and decongestants have been used, but they have not been proven effective unless
there is also hay fever or some other allergic inflammation that contributes to the problem.

Stereotypes In Forrest Gump
White privilege and stereotypes are two ways race can influence a person s everyday life. White
privilege can be defined simply as white people getting special privileges and rights because they are
white. This can be seen when a white person gets a job opposed to a person of color or when white
people are able to live in nicer neighborhoods while people of color live in crime ridden ones because
white people have more wealth. White privilege has become so normal that most people fail to see it
in action. Furthermore, stereotypes can have many harmful effects as well. Stereotypes can be defined
as distorted views or inaccurate beliefs about a group of people. Not all stereotypes are bad, but many
of them are. An example could be saying that all African Americans are good at sports. However, this
is not always the case. Stereotypes may sometimes seem harmless, but these beliefs can impact a
person s life. White privilege and stereotypes are two different concepts, but they both have similar
effects that tend to hurt people of color more than they hurt white people. Both of these ideas appear in
the 1994 film Forrest Gump, which was directed by Robert Zemeckis. The film depicts white privilege
by showing only white people in positions of power, illustrates stereotypes about people of color by
having a stereotypical black family, and changes black history by having a white person make
achievements that people of color really made.
Forrest Gump is a movie that follows a man throughout the story of his life. It starts out with Forrest
Gump waiting at a bus stop when the bus arrives and a woman steps out and sits down next to him. He
begins to talk to her and he offers her some chocolate. The way he talks hints to the fact that he is not
the most intelligent person. He then starts to talk about her shoes which leads him to a flashback of his
childhood in Greenbow, Alabama in about 1945. From there he starts to talk about everything that has
happened in his life that has led him to where he is now. He talks about meeting Jenny on his first day
of school, his running getting him a football scholarship for college, enlisting in the army and meeting
Bubba, getting a medal of honor, and playing ping pong against China.

The Supply Chain Of Zara
Introduction
Zara is one of the Inditex s largest international fashion brands. The company first opened in La
Coruna in 1975, still lives by the simple idea of Amancio Ortega to link customer demand to
manufacturing, and link manufacturing to distribution. Castellano and Ortega shared the same beliefs
that quick response to customers, use of computers, and disintegrated decision making were important
to build the business. It has built distribution and information system which allows to keep latest
design in stores in just one or two weeks. Its supply chain has made it so successful and popular
among its customers (Zhang, 2008). Task 1
Following describes the excellent supply chain of Zara which starts from design and ends with sales.

Collaboration of chief tasks, strategic use of organizational resources and core competencies
contribute to Zara s competitive advantage. Zara follows vertically integrated supply chain so it
exercises control over suppliers. Demand is easily met and manufacturing is easily achieved. It uses
Vertical Marketing System (VMS). It has Zara successfully integrate design, production, distribution,
and retailing and which has turned it into the world s fastest growing fashion retailer. Its design team
is having skilled and talented and experienced staff and the designers are regularly updated by stores
and sales staff which keep record of moving stock. Its in house team of production department is also
hardworking and producing clothes quickly as it is manufacturing clothes in small batch. The market
survey said that people visit Zara often when compared to Zara s competitors. Its employees wait for
one week for selling its stock and meanwhile if stock is not sold then they just take it out from store
and then design team try to make better design for customer satisfaction and the design which is not
sold their production will be stopped and in this manner it will face only little cost but will be able to
attract customers. So its vertical integration system is helping it to gain advantage. Its customers are
well aware that its stock will be changing after every week so they visit quite often to this store as they
know if they don t visit regularly then they can miss good stuff and good designer clothes. In the
market survey it has been revealed that in Spain top branded fashion store is visited by customers 3
times a year and whereas Zara is visited by its customers 17 times a year so it is clear that Zara is
taking advantage of vertical integration (Christopher,

Analysis Of Virginia Woolf s Mrs. Dalloway
A key belief within our society is that there are many sides to any story, and to gain full understanding,
one more confront and engage with all aspects. There are instances, however, when the scope of the
story makes the full truth unattainable. This is the case of World War I. The Great War was nearly
impossible to understand while it was taking place, and although nearly one hundred years have
passed, little concrete clarity has been achieved regarding the overall truths and experiences of this
war. Claire Tylee, a historian who focuses on the woman s role in World War I, highlights the ineffable
aspect of the war even for the most skilled authors, saying that: reviewing a novel in 1917, Virginia
Woolf suggested that the War was ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
And the war goes on, indifferent to these human actions, meaningless, destructive, and apparently
endless (Hynes, 127). This was a war that touched every aspect of human life, even diluting something
as pure as love. Living with another but in internal isolation became extremely common because: all
wars divide divide not only our side from theirs, but soldiers from civilians, men from women, one
generation from another, war lovers from war haters. These divisions don t end with the war s last
shot: they continue into the following years... (Hynes, 337). The Great War created a new kind of love
story, thus reflecting the truths and lasting impacts on all corners of society. After this war, the
previous perception of love was no longer attainable, as each individual lived in the harsh reality
brought upon by extreme isolation of experience.
The climate upon returning home can be understood by observing the strain in even the closest
relationships, thus showing the isolation endured within society. Since Septimus and Rezia met during
wartime, their relationship fit within the context of chaos, so when placed in a quiet city, the
relationship that they had built crumbled. This partially was due to inconsistency in experience, as it
was impossible to understand what someone else had gone through. Septimus, for example, had lost
his best friend and lover in battle, yet had never let himself confront these feelings. Rezia, on the other

Cars In The Great Gatsby In the novel, The Great Gatsby, cars serve as status symbols for various characters functioning to criticize the material carelessness of wealthy people in American Society. Moreover, Fitzgerald highlights the interactions concerning a character and their car to reveal the deceitful nature of people and their disregard for mankind. Fitzgerald utilizes Gatsby s car as a focal point to illuminate his obsessive nature to impress, revealing his affection for Daisy but carelessness for who it affects long term. Although convection current in the earth layer are closely associated with the movements of the tectonic plates they also play a role in the formation of rocks, such as the igneous and metamorphic rocks. Igneous rocks form through the solidification of magma or lava. This can occur in two different places, on earth surface and under earth surface. Rocks that form on earth surface are called extrusive, rocks that form under earth s surface are intrusive plutonic rocks. A Metamorphic rock is formed when the protolithic rock is exposed to heat and pressure. There are also two different type of metamorphic rocks contact and regional metamorphic rocks. The process of the formation of igneous rocks begin all the way down in the Earth s mantle. The mantle consisted of hot magma that is constantly moving due to the convection currents. Convection is the heat transfer of liquid and gases .As the bottom of the mantle begin to heat up, the magma rises to the top because it becomes less dense. • 5. Dependency Theory in Society Dependency theory appeared in the 20th century 50`s. The main topics that are included in dependency theory are historical materialism connected with other critical traditions, a partnership between developed countries and developing countries, interaction between a core and a periphery. Dependency theory mainly is used to talk about Western societies and Third World countries. Foundation of the dependency theory is Marxism, also it prefigures post structuralism, and the dependency theory stands for opposite opinion about economical growth and its affect, than neoliberals do. The Dependency theory doesn t look at economical activities from positive side, especially when it is done by world s richest countries. Richest countries economical activities always affect poorer countries, especially they cause economical problems. The dependency theory has evolved from two main sources, first is from the United States and other is from Latin America. In the United States the dependency theory developed because of the socialist journal Monthly Review, where neo Marxist thoughts were summarized and were published a publications about different social organizations. Previously the dependency theory was called as theory of monopoly capitalism, but later it was recalled as we know it now. The thought about the dependency theory rose from observed stagnation in the Third World, where bourgeoisies were acting like they want and did not take into account other opinions. If school of ... • 8. Charter Of Rights And Freedoms Essay In Canada, we as Canadians live in a country in which our values are protected and respected, and this is all thanks to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. As a part of the Canadian Constitution, the Charter sets out those rights and freedoms that Canadians believe are necessary in our country. Since its enactment in 1982, the Charter has improved all Canadian citizen s ability to participate in society.1 So, today, I am here to convince you that the Charter is a key contributor to Canada as it helped shaped Canada into the nation it is today. To begin, the Charter guarantees the rights of individuals and allows Canadians to live in a free and democratic society. It is organized into different sections such as fundamental freedoms, democratic rights, mobility rights, language rights, and so on.1 To help you further understand the Charter, let s take a look at a photograph of the official document. Looking at a historical perspective, we see that creating the Charter of Rights and Freedoms was a declaration of Canadian independence from Britain. This allowed Canada to create our own laws to directly address Canadian issues. The Charter of Rights and Freedoms is historically significant as it was a huge jump in Canadian development. Before the Charter was approved, other Canadian laws that protected our rights and freedoms were combined in order to create the charter, such as the Canadian Bill of Rights.2 The Bill of Rights enacted in 1960 and was replaced by the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.4 Although many of the same rights and freedoms protected by the Charter were included in the Bill of Rights, the Charter enhances the protections provided to Canadians by increasing the number of the extent of our rights and ... The Way We Live (2017) focused on living in a safe and clean community, andwhere well being was a large factor in decisions that were made. The Way We Grow (2017) took into consideration how the city was going to grow with more people staying for longer periods of time. Perspectives on the Book of Job Essay The Book of Job is one of the three books in the Hebrew bible whose genre is described as wisdom literature.1 Certainly the Book of Job satisfies the literary conventions that qualify a biblical book for such status. 2 Yet Job may be associated with wisdom in a much more literal sense. The Book of Job attempts to deal with a problematic question that confronts suffering humanity: why do bad things happen to good people? As always, God tests those human beings to whom he is close and whom he loves. 8 It is unclear whether Buber bases the preceding statement on his personal opinion or on the biblical text. Buber points out that Job s plaintive cries constitute a form of prayer, and in fact cement his relationship with God. Buber concludes that Job passed God s test, successfully bore witness to his God 9 and has the eternal mission of serving God. One comes away from Buber with the impression that both God s behavior and Job suffering are morally justified. In contrast to Buber s vindication of God s role and glorification of Job s suffering, C. G. Jung excoriates God for his crimes 10 in an excerpt from Answer to Job11. Setting an irreverent tone, Jung begins by stating that God s thunderings... completely miss the point 12 by failing to address Job s questions, demonstrating God s self absorption. Jung points out that God s self aggrandizing diatribe only makes sense if directed towards a doubting thought , which can only be Satan. Jung suggests that God has turned his verbal displeasure on Job rather than Satan in order to avoid facing the fact that he was duped by Satan into sanctioning the punishment of his most faithful follower. Job realizes that the self centered God speaking from the whirlwind has no interest in Job s rights, and thus Job has no choice but to retract his demand for justice 13 and submit to the divine omnipotence ... I have chosen to accept this hypothesis because my data proves it to be true. Based on my data, as the sucrose concentration is lower, the average change in mass is less than when the sucrose concentration is higher. This is because more water has to travel in or out of the dialysis bag in order to help dilute the high concentration of the solution in the beaker down to even it out with the concentration inside of the dialysis bag. Also, I noticed that having the water in the beaker and the sucrose molarity inside a dialysis bag always results in the water being hypotonic to the dialysis bag. The alignment of the policy or practice defines how a convention fits within a workplace structure, therefore ineffective strategy is usually preceded by poor structural fit rather than poor implementation. Academic studies support these findings, Huselid (1997) performed a cluster analysis of four firms with different HR strategies. The weak clusters were characterised by poorly planned human capital goals that were irrelevant to the workplace. The high performance clusters reflected smart design supported with effective communication and above average levels of management support. Science and religion support patriarchal assumptions of male superiority over nature and women as biologically determined. In pre patriarchal, pagan societies, women and nature were worshiped as life givers. In Christian belief, God creates man in his image, and women and nature for the benefit of man. This classification is important to make, as despite the fact that Cortés was present and an active participant in the encounter, this does not guarantee an honest account of the events. It is important to keep in mind, that in writing the letters, Cortés had a personal and political agenda and sought to justify and legitimise his actions. In reading the two texts, there are inconsistencies in the manner that Cortés and Moctezuma met and greeted one another and in the nature of the conversations that took place between them. The most notable being the absence of Malintzin or Doña Marina from Cortes account. The absence of Doña Marina from Cortés accounts are particularly interesting to me given her occupation as Cortés mediator and translator throughout the conquest. However, given the fact that Cortés way trying to undermine his rival Diego Velazquez, it is probable that he wanted to portray himself in the best light, and claim sole responsibility for his success. While Cortés fails to mention Marina, she is referenced several times in Sahagún s codex. In the illustrations done by native artists, she is depicted several times. In one of the images, she is standing between Cortés and Moctezuma, elaborately dressed and clearly a central figure of communication and negotiation between the two parties. It is interesting that given the little references made to her in the written texts, her appearance in the illustrations clearly indicate that the Nahuas recognised her role and importance to the ... (and gay people in general as a Christian) A few months ago I faced a difficult time in my life. I was homeless and I had nowhere to stay with my newborn baby. To my dismay, there was no family who would have the ability to take me in. They had helped me enough in their eyes regarding sheltering me, so I was abruptly kicked out of my grandmothers house I was staying in and face the option to find shelter in a homeless shelter. But let me back up a second. A couple weeks before my life made a turn for the worse, I met a girl on Facebook who was a photographer. We collaborated together on eventually meeting up to take pictures of my newborn, however, at that time I did not have any money because I was on maternity leave and not working. Looking at her beautiful work as a photographer, I knew one day I would have her take pictures of my baby I just did not know when. Then suddenly one day she messaged me and offered me free pictures of my newborn in exchange of being able to build her newborn portfolio. Thrilled at her offer, I jumped at the opportunity, literally jumping in my car the same day she made the offer. I drove to her apartment ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Kirp s article entitled, What Can Stop Kids from Dropping Out, begins by citing some startling statistics; the number of college dropouts is severely damaging our economic system. According to the article, and an American Institute for Research, $4.5 billion is being lost in earnings and taxes nationwide due to this issue. The article goes on to explain how this is not just a problem, but how it is a scandal. Colleges are blaming high schools for the number of students whom arrive at college and quickly drop out. Kirp explains that it isn t the high school s fault. Colleges don t provide enough academic feedback, financial assistance, or personalized attention for their students. Georgia State is looking to solve the issue at their own school. They have taken steps to reach out to students as soon as they start to lose interest in their studies. In the second half of this book, the reader sees how Cath s relationship with her twin sister, Wren, is on unstable grounds. The sisters differing personalities and different opinions on what college life should be about, causes this rift between them. Cath s relationship with her mother begins to change also. Cath resents her mother because her mother left when she was eight. Cath then had to take over the matriarchal position in the household and lost parts of her childhood because of that, so when Cath s mother asks to be a part of Cath s life, Cath staunchly refuses. An example of the foreshadowing of the breakdown is Cath s father calling Cath sporadically. Often times, he would call Cath with unhinged ideas, seeking her opinion. He would also call Cath at bizarre times of the day, or he would go days without calling. One of the ideas he called Cath with was having a slide go down from her room to the bathroom. These details help to foreshadow to a possible mental crisis. The reader can also see foreshadowing for a mental breakdown in Cath s father s self care. Cath has to call him and remind him to eat healthy meals. When she does not call he eats pizza, does not do laundry, and overworks. When Cath goes to see her father, she sees empty pizza boxes and piles of laundry littering the floor. Cath s father s worsening standards of hygiene foreshadowed to a mental breakdown later in the book. Another evaluation I made is that the author wrote Levi as a foil to Cath. An example of Levi and Cath s contrasting characteristics is their reading habits. Levi dislikes reading because he feels like when he reads his eyes take in information but his brain does not understand. On the other hand, Cath is very passionate about reading. White privilege has become so normal that most people fail to see it in action. Furthermore, stereotypes can have many harmful effects as well. Stereotypes can be defined as distorted views or inaccurate beliefs about a group of people. Not all stereotypes are bad, but many of them are. An example could be saying that all African Americans are good at sports. However, this is not always the case. Stereotypes may sometimes seem harmless, but these beliefs can impact a person s life. White privilege and stereotypes are two different concepts, but they both have similar effects that tend to hurt people of color more than they hurt white people. Both of these ideas appear in the 1994 film Forrest Gump, which was directed by Robert Zemeckis. The film depicts white privilege by showing only white people in positions of power, illustrates stereotypes about people of color by having a stereotypical black family, and changes black history by having a white person make achievements that people of color really made. Forrest Gump is a movie that follows a man throughout the story of his life. It starts out with Forrest Gump waiting at a bus stop when the bus arrives and a woman steps out and sits down next to him. He begins to talk to her and he offers her some chocolate. The way he talks hints to the fact that he is not the most intelligent person. He then starts to talk about her shoes which leads him to a flashback of his childhood in Greenbow, Alabama in about 1945. From there he starts to talk about everything that has happened in his life that has led him to where he is now. He talks about meeting Jenny on his first day of school, his running getting him a football scholarship for college, enlisting in the army and meeting Bubba, getting a medal of honor, and playing ping pong against China. ... • 45. Analysis Of Virginia Woolf s Mrs. Dalloway A key belief within our society is that there are many sides to any story, and to gain full understanding, one more confront and engage with all aspects. There are instances, however, when the scope of the story makes the full truth unattainable. This is the case of World War I. The Great War was nearly impossible to understand while it was taking place, and although nearly one hundred years have passed, little concrete clarity has been achieved regarding the overall truths and experiences of this war. Claire Tylee, a historian who focuses on the woman s role in World War I, highlights the ineffable aspect of the war even for the most skilled authors, saying that: reviewing a novel in 1917, Virginia Woolf suggested that the War was ... This was a war that touched every aspect of human life, even diluting something as pure as love. Living with another but in internal isolation became extremely common because: all wars divide divide not only our side from theirs, but soldiers from civilians, men from women, one generation from another, war lovers from war haters. These divisions don t end with the war s last shot: they continue into the following years... (Hynes, 337). The Great War created a new kind of love story, thus reflecting the truths and lasting impacts on all corners of society. After this war, the previous perception of love was no longer attainable, as each individual lived in the harsh reality brought upon by extreme isolation of experience. The climate upon returning home can be understood by observing the strain in even the closest relationships, thus showing the isolation endured within society. Since Septimus and Rezia met during wartime, their relationship fit within the context of chaos, so when placed in a quiet city, the relationship that they had built crumbled. This partially was due to inconsistency in experience, as it was impossible to understand what someone else had gone through. Septimus, for example, had lost his best friend and lover in battle, yet had never let himself confront these feelings. Rezia, on the other ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
