PARTICIPANTS
The aim of this article is to investigate the frequency of DMs in the speaking of two
groups of teenagers and adults. Two groups of teenagers and adults were randomly
selected to this aim which their age ranges from 20 to 23 for the first group and 27
to 30 for the second. The selection of the participants was based on the point of
comparing the frequency of the use of DMs between the group of teenagers and
adults.
INSTRUMENTS The instruments applied in this study were clearlyan audio
recorder by which the speakers voice was recorded in a high quality for more and
precise investigation concerning the use of DMs. This audio recorder recorded the
voices of native participants in a high quality which anybody can hear any elements
in the speakers voice. The participants in this study were not required to speak in a
routine conversation like an interview; accordingly their speaking was recorded
spontaneously. The participants were only required to retell the short story as they
were telling the story for a child.
PROCEDURE
Every participant of the present study was given a short story and also a specific
period of time to rehears the story and then retells it. In this way the participants did
the job and retold the story individually. Their voice was recorded and investigated
several times by the researcher for recognizing the frequency of DMs usage in their

As many of us know, marijuana has been legalized in Washington and Colorado for
recreational use. According to polls and predictions, Oregon may be one of the up
and coming states to legalize it next. But here comes to question, Should marijuana
be legalized? Why or why not? There are many pros and cons to this situation, and

The Difference That Michael Acquired Throughout Season...
This paper is constructed to analyze the difference that Michael acquired
throughout Season four of The Wire. While watching the season, I have depicted
numerous views about Michael which demonstrated that his character has
changed based off the change of his environment. At first, he came across as a
strong, respectful, and polite adolescent. Throughout the season, I have noticed
that Michael s initial attitude and behavior had regressed as the season went on.
He often resembled or went beyond the actions of some of the hardest members of

Dr. Ramachandran has devised an experiment that he says has to be tested on many
more patients with phantom limb syndrome before he can be certain that it will
help amputees with phantom limb pain. He uses what he calls a mirror box , testing
this with another patient named James Peacock who lost his right hand and has
severe pain in his missing hand and as though the missing hand is constantly
clenching. Dr. Ramachandran explains that this patients brain is sending signals to
his missing limb trying to clench it, but because the limb isn t there is unable to

settlement on the North American continent. I always thought it was Columbus, but
according to Vinland Archaeology, the Norse came over from Greenland and Iceland
roughly 500 years prior to
