I took to watching YouTube videos filled with theories of how personalities and
habits can be affected by just minor changes in synapses. My interest in
neuroscience and psychology gradually developed to analyzing disorders and
diseases relating to the brain. Volunteering gave me an additional perspective on the
social side of disorders such as autism, thereby ushering me away from the words in
a textbook and into real life. Playing with autistic children and being able to interact
with them motivated me to spread awareness of mental disorders to prevent those

My Salary Analysis
The common low that I would start out with is forty two dollars an hour and
$89,320 a year. The highest I would be paid is seventy two dollars an hour and

Dionysos
I chose to compare and contrast two works of art that featured the god Dionysos.
Dionysos was a god of celebration and wine, promoting both the intoxicating power
of wine and its social benefits for bringing people together. He was an advocate of
peace and a promoter of peaceful civilization. Both The Hope Dionysos and the
Triumph of Dionysos and the Seasons Sarcophagus represent why Dionysos was such
an important and celebrated figurein mythology, which is why I chose to analyze
two works of art that centered on him. My first impression of each piece was of
Dionysos as a peaceful, benevolent and joyful figure. I was struck by the calm
peacefulness he embodied in The Hope Dionysos and the happiness he shared on the
Triumph of Dionysos and the Seasons Sarcophagus. Though there are many
elements to compare and contrast, my analysis will show that both pieces are
tributes and representations of Dionysos meaning and purpose in Roman art. The
Hope Dionysos, displayed in the Metropolitan Museum of Arts Greek and Roman
Art gallery, depicts Dionysos standing and leaning with one arm on a smaller female
figure that is believed to Spes, the personification of hope. He is shown without his

Education has always been an important foundation upon which my family
encouraged the most. Not just the education pertaining to structured schooling, but
the fundamentals in life that require you to interact in society and be a part of
something bigger than yourself. They demonstrated how to commit to values such as
responsibility, motivation, and consistency; and, how to be open minded and
passionate about the things you believe in. These things all required a sacrifice in
various ways. They always stress how sometimes you need to give up something to
get ahead, or how sometimes sacrificing the familiar and what you expect from
yourself to get the results that you are seeking in the long run.
The dream of having majored in marine biology is one thing, but to get to have a
marine biology degree is a fifth grader s dream come true. The environment is
heading in a rough direction. For example, ocean acidification is already a
problem. The decrease in pH of our ocean acidity is causing coral reefs to die out
which houses thousands of organisms homes and food sources. Due to the
