pre , meta and post mordanting on color characteristics of the dyed samples has been investigated.
The adsorptionisotherm of madder on woolfibers was found to follow Freundlich type of adsorption.
The addition of salt and acid (pH 4.5) to the dyebath resulted in an increase of adsorption. In relation
to mordanting tests, the use of different mordants and mordanting procedures gave various color
characteristics on dyed wool fabrics. The results showed that all the dyed samples, mordanted and
unmordanted, were in the first quadrant of CIEL*a*b* color space. Mordants such as potassium
dichromate, ferrous sulphate and copper (I, II) sulphate led to the darker and lower chromaticity
compared to unmordanted dyed sample while mordants stannous chloride, alum resulted in the
lighter and higher chromaticity values. Mordanting with the chlorides of cobalt and nickel showed
the minimal color difference (в€†E) with the unmordanted dyed sample. The fastness properties
indicated that in general wash and light fastness of the mordanted samples were higher than the
unmordanted one.

My First Day Of College Essay
My first day of college was kind of a blur but it was most certainly a very important one. I spent
my first semester of college at Central Michigan University, I arrived on the Friday before classes

1.After viewing both Sixteen Candles and Ferris Bueller s Day Off I would have to choose
Sixteen Candles to be my favorite of the two. My reasoning is because I feel the storyline and
characters were developed better, allowing the audience to feel a greater connection with the film.
When comparing the two films, Sixteen Candles comes across as more angst driven, with a strong
female lead. Ferris Bueller s Day Off has an obvious strong male lead character, with more humor

and Jake at the end of the film kissing in the candle light. A dramatic end scene kiss has been
depicted in Pretty in Pink as well. Ferris Bueller s Day Off on the other hand, is something

Handwriting has always been, and will remain, a problem in medicine. A 1979 study showed that it
was difficult to interpret about half of all physicians handwritten orders. Little has changed since
then, (In the long run, penmanship classes for doctors won t do much for patient safety, 2001).
This has been an ongoing problem since inception. Therefore, the beginning of the process should
be changed in this day and age of technology to have prescriptions entered into computers and
handheld devices by the doctor, to ensure accuracy of the medication that is needed to be filled,
and electronically sent to the pharmacy. Having a nurse call in prescriptions is a non value added
activity that can be eliminated. This may be expensive at the start to implement, but in the long
term, it will save both organizations time, help reduce errors, and add value to the level of service
the organization gives. With this change, label errors should also be reduced as well, ensuring the
patient receives the correct medicine and dosage.
After implementing the technological advancements, the pharmacy will be required to keep a log
of all medications brought back or called saying that they are the wrong medicine. These logs will

compare my results with my classmates is by inquiring them how they stirred their solution after
they mixed the contents of beaker 1 and 2 together. Did they use a stirrer, mix it by shaking the
beaker in a circle or did they mix the solution at all? A strength I experienced during this
experiment is the consistency of the contents in the second beaker. Although the amount of K_2
S_2 O_8 and K_s SO_4 varied throughput the four experiments, they all yielded the same results.
Which was a black color when the contents of beaker 1 and 2 were mixed into beaker 3.

1.Fresno is a city located in central California, also known as San Joaquin Valley Famously
knows for its grape field and green trees. Known for where the immigrants came to work, by
picking grapes making little to know money. Every year I go back to visit my home town about
twice a year, each time we get near the grape vine which is located between Fresno and Las
Angeles. The first thing that is noticed by the eye is the magnificent greenery and farm lands
that can t be passed without notice of its beauty. Every tree was full and rich looking to the roots
and all around the ground would look moist and fully watered, without a doubt these farm lands
where being taken care of. Recently in the past three years of taking the long exhausting drive
from the dry lands of Tucson to the green lands of Fresno hasn t been the same. The green lands
of central valley are not as green as they once were. The grounds look dry and not as moist as
before.

On January 30, 1933, one of the most horrible events occurred. Everyone knows this day as the
beginning of The Holocaust. The Holocaust is one of the most horrific genocides. During The
Holocaust, six million Jewish people got murdered by Nazis. Men, women, and even children died.
I want to discuss this event in history. But there are also other events in history that are like The
Holocaust. Things like antisemitism, racism, and bullying, which are real issues as well. Today, I

Kristallnacht means The Night of Broken Glass.ВЁ On that night Jewish people got beaten and
killed, their homes got broken into, and Jewish women and children got brutalized. Synagogues
got burnt down and Jewish stores were destroyed. Windows of the stores were broken and glass
was everywhere. According to Elie Wiesel who said For dead and for the living we must bear
witness. the Jewish people could not do much. All they could do is watch as Nazi soldiers

The memorial had six glass towers. Each glass tower represents a different major concentration
camp. But, the memorial has been vandalized twice. On June 28, 2017, and on August 14, 2017,
the glass panels were shattered by some cruel people. Daniel F. Conley stated that Everyone no
matter race, gender, or religion has the right to feel safe, welcome and respected in Boston and
Suffolk County. He is talking about how we should not disrespect people and make them feel
unsafe in their community. People should have the right to feel safe anywhere. What those people
did was disrespectful of the Jewish community, the Boston community, and the beautiful
