of delay control system for network induced delay using the simulation model of network control
system delay and thus analysed the effect of network delay on the performance of the control

A microcosm is basically a smaller scale version of a greater population, or a miniature. At the
beginning of this semester, we began the construction of our own miniature worlds within the
confinements of a small zip lock bag. We observed the changes and growth of life inside these bags
over the span of a few weeks. The reason for setting up these projects for weeks at a time, was to
get a better range of how things change and grow over time, sort of like a smaller scale of how it

was set up, we needed to add the living organisms, the worms. Being the first day, we only added
2 worms, one earthworm and 1 red worm. As soon as the set up was finished, we moved our

humidity of 53%. It received natural lighting as well as light from 25watt incandescent light bulbs.
Week 1: By the second week, there wasn t much preparation left, simply added 2 more worms, and

Elizabeth Bishop s childhood was not the typical mom and dad experience. Her father died
when she was 8 months old and her mother, when she was five, was checked in at an insane
asylum. She stayed in the asylum until she died. Most of her poems was about her childhood.

reading her poem, Roosters , she refers to the roosters in comparison with a religious event, the
denial of St. Peter. Although she had no recorded religious background, I believe the story of Peter
s denial of knowing Jesus. The poem Roosters , is a comparison with her life as well as is with the
last hours leading to Jesus death, regarding St. Peter, his disciple. How this poem relates to her
life is quite simple. As a child she was forced move to different homes, all within family
relations. She had to have the feeling that her family denied her when things got hard and they
acted as if they didn t know her and shipped her off. This experience made it easy for her to write
this poem. The first stanza of Roosters , At four o clock in the gun metal blue dark we hear the
first crow of the first cock (Bishop1 3) , it is the very moment that Peter denies ever knowing Jesus.

In my role with Liberty Mutual, I drove adoption of Medicare reimbursement models through public
affairs involvement with multiple state workers compensation committees seeking to update their
reimbursement schedules in response to the implementation of ICD 10 coding requirements in
October of 2015. With the state workers compensation authorities seeking to adopt CMS
reimbursement type models, my involvement was directed at securing the inclusion of specific
CMS rules governing correct coding and reimbursement practices including National Correct
Coding Initiative Guidelines (NCCI), Medical Unlikely Edits (MUE), along with the Resource
Based Relative Value System (RBRVS) for reimbursement rate setting.

Compliance auditing is used to evaluate compliance with binding standards (non existent or
ambiguous) and the level of compliance with other industry standards, and Forensic auditing
which is performed to determine errors with established written standards imposed by the payer
as either a condition of participation or payment. In my current role, I have led several compliance
based audits proactively and in response to state inquiries and led a team of auditors who
performed forensic based audits on 48,000+ medical bills annually totaling $1billion in annual
billed charges.
The identification of the appropriate binding and persuasive criteria (through criteria analysis) is
critical to establishing Risk and Standard analysis. Case law, State and Federal Courts, Commercial
carrier contracts (Provider/Subscriber) and incorporated standards (CPT/CMS), Federal Statutory,
Medicare Statutes, HHS regulations, CMS interpretive guidance (Internet Only Manuals), local
contractor rules (LCD s) are all types of controlling standards. Persuasive standards are used to
provide guidance in the absence of a binding statutory standard. In workers compensation
jurisdictions with unclear or non existent statutory standards, I developed the persuasive standards
of the Commercial Insurance Clinical audit product to ensure persuasive audit criteria was credible,
sourced, and applied appropriately with a robust quality
