Victoria s Alright When He Never Goes Away
Victoria s alright for now but she knows Jonesy will be back soon, he never goes away for long.
What will he want from her today? Will he make her laugh? Will he make her cry? Things never
used to be like this. When Victoria first met Jonesy he was everything she d ever dreamed of. He
would comfort her, keep her warm, make all the problems of the world simply melt away. What
happened to those days? She finds herself thinking more often than not of now. At first, Victoria
figured that her and Jonesy would conquer the world together, it had seemed that way. She was
sure the two of them would reach new heights like she d never felt before, there was nothing they
couldn t do together. But that was all before Jonesy changed. Now nothing seemed... Show more

Victoria was different back then just like Jonesy was. Youthful, pretty, full of energy and always

should probably start getting herself cleaned up for Jonesy. When he gets here he ll want her
looking her best, he always does. Not for him anymore, but for the countless slobs he ll send her
out to please tonight. He ll kill her if she doesn t earn for him. Victoria wonders just how many

feel herself beginning to tremble. Victoria loved him, the love of her lifetime turned into a
tragedy. But, that s all this love can last for, a lifetime. She knows that now. She knows what she
has to do. Through trembling hands she cooks up her plan for Jonesy. At first he ll like it, he ll love

Satirical Techniques Used In Parks And Recreation
When was the last time you experienced a good laugh? Maybe you were watching a show,
reading a book, or even hanging out with friends. Either way you were probably observing,
comedy. Which in literary terms is a genre of literature that is created in a humorous nature for a
purpose of making people laugh. A television show that can be categorized as a comedyis Parks and
Recreation. The show is about a crew members that work in a parks department for the government
in a small town called Pawnee, Indiana. The main characters consist of Leslie Knope who later in
the show marries Ben Wyatt. April ludgatewho later marries Andy. Ron Swanson, Donna, Tom,
and Garyy. They all work together trying to make the city of Pawnee a better place. They play

Parks and rec can also be classified as a political satire. A political satire is gaining entertainment
from politics. Often times in parks and rec they make fun of the government and act like it is
nothing. They always hire people who have no experience in the government and only graduated
high school, like april. Ron hates the government and always wants his identity kept secret. He
makes funny jokes referring to the government in every episode. Parks and rec also has a loving
care for eachother aspect. Anytime someone is down about something everyone tries to help,
even april who hates everyone and usually shows no feelings towards anyone besides Andy. For
example when Ann left town in season two and leslie was very upset everyone did things for
leslie. Also when April wanted to quit the parks department everyone was sad but did everything
they could to help her find a new job because they loved her so much. The creators do a great job
of portraying these two genres in the

Research Paper On Sentiment Analysis
Abstract
Due to the large volume of opinion rich web resources like twitter, Face book, blogs and news
available in digital form, much of the current research is focusing on the area of sentiment
analysis using text analysis. People are getting attracted to develop a system that can extract
opinions based on their response on social media sites. Algorithms can be developed so as to
predict preferences of people to improve economic and marketing research. This paper presents a
sentiment analysis on a recent scenario of Uri Attack.

Introduction
Sentiment analysis is a technique for tracking the mood or sentiment of the public for a particular
product or incident. Sentiment analysis is also called as opinion mining and it involves in making
of a machine that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Sentiment analysis concentrates on attitudes, whereas the traditional method of text mining mainly
focuses on the analysis of facts. There are few main fields of research in Sentiment analysis:
sentiment classification, feature based sentiment classification and opinion summarization.
Sentiment classification deals with classifying entire document according to the opinions shown
with respect to a certain object. While feature based sentiment classification considers the opinions
on the features of a certain object. Opinion summarization task is different compared to traditional
text summarization because only the features of the product are examined on which the customers
have expressed their opinions via any social media. Opinion summarization does not summarize the
reviews by selecting a subset or rewriting some of the original sentences from the reviews to capture
the main points like in the classic text summarization

Tuesday Morning On September 11Th, 2001 There Were A Series
Tuesday morning on September 11th, 2001 there were a series of four coordinated terrorist
attacks by the Islamic terrorist group al Qaeda on the United States. The attack had killed 2,996
innocent people injured over 6,000 others, and caused at least ten billion in property and
infrastructure damage and three trillion in total cost. Nineteen al Qaeda terrorist had stole four
passenger airliners operated by U.S. passenger air carriers. Two of the planes were crashed into the

Almost 10,000 others were treated for injuries, many severe. Meanwhile, a fourth California
bound plane United Flight 93, was hijacked about 40 minutes after leaving NEwark International
Airport in New Jersey. Because the plane had been delayed in taking off, passengers on board
learned of events in New York and Washington via cell phone and Airfone calls to the ground.
Knowing that the aircraft was not returning to an airport as the hijackers claimed, a group of
passengers and flight attendants planned an insurrection. One of the passengers, Thomas
Burnett Jr., told his wife over the phone that I know we re all going to die. There s three of us
who are going to do something about it. I love you, honey. Another passenger, Todd Beamer,

pitchers with boiling water. Her last words to him were Everyone s running to first class. I ve

cockpit with a fire extinguisher. The plane then flipped over and sped toward the ground at

Separation Of Alantolactone Lab Report
3.2 Selection of soluble silver salt for the mobile phase
Soluble silver salt in the mobile phase provided silver ion for the interactions with unsaturated C C
bonds. Silver nitrate (AgNO3) that act as sources of silver ions has been frequently used in silver
ion chromatography. However, bitrate radical (NO3пјЌ) in the mobile phase has the stronger
background absorption among 190 ~ 240 nm as shown in Fig.2a [40]. Since the UV detection
wavelength of alantolactone and isoalantolactone was also in the range of 190 to 240 nm as
shown in Fig.2b [41], AgNO3 in mobile phase can cause extremely strong background absorption
interference, as shown in Fig.2c and Fig.2d. For this reason, we selected silver perchlorate

keeps the heat trapped in and releases the heat after the sun has set. One may think that this is a
positive thing, in the winter there is less of a need for heating. But this is incorrect, as the world
continues to grow warmer, the ice caps are melting, and the habitat of those arctic animals are
being affected. The food sources are dwindling and they are slowly dying out. All that needs to
be stated about this is the Polar Bear for example. The largest land carnivore in the arctic. Yet it s
an endangered species as its home is melting away from the earth heating up. The good news is,
there are ways to reduce the amount of heat that is being released and absorbed. There are two
specific strategies that will be discussed in order to apply them to the Saginaw Public School

Leonardo Da Vinci s The Last Supper
A well known painting by Leonardo da Vinci would be a mural painting known as the Last
Supper. This mural was created during 1495 to 1498 in Milan by Leonardo da Vinci. It was
requested by Ludovico Sforza, who during that time, was the Duke of Milan. The Last Supper has
been an influential historic piece of art, according to Sundt, the most famous portrayal is Leonardo
da Vincis 15 ft. Г— 29ft mural The Last Supper, one of the most recognizable pieces of art in
history (Sundt 1). During the creation of this master piece, a lot of thought and focus went towards
the final work, including the symmetry. Goethe states that the layout and construction is a,

This event is, according to Sundt, one of the most well known and referenced events thus tells
the story of his final night as a man of flesh and blood (Sundt 1). In the mural what is being told
is Christ and his Disciples all gathered over a table, and here Jesus blesses the wine and the cup
in the ceremony of the Eucharist, he claims that one of his 12 apostles will betray him, and he
gives a final sermon or farewell discourse (Sundt 1). Placing such a historic event on an oil mural,
took the early Renaissance to a different level of tradition in that certain field. Since Leonardo da
Vinci is an Italian Renaissance man, within the painting, many clues and hints are found, but back
then only a couple of other Italians would be understanding his methods. One of the methods
used in the Last Supper was a happy device, which according to Goethe was, the motion of the
hands the whole body is full of animation; every limb participates in the expression of feeling, of
passion, even of thought (Goethe 243). The hand movements of Christ and the others allowed da
Vinci to communicate in a manner, where words could not be sufficient. In the Last Supper
masterpiece, every characteristic and trait was closely observed by Leonardo da Vinci and each
one corresponds as a painting all together. All the Disciples are placed on each side of Christ as a
symbolic meaning and the importance

Baltimore Riots
When it rains, it pours; and where tragedy strikes, a war will follow. This is what comes to mind
when the subject of Baltimore arises. The unexpected death of a young Baltimore man, Freddie
Gray, while in police custody, sparked the flame in the city s ongoing rage and riots. Autopsy
reports showed signs of high energy injury as the cause of death, suggesting neglect from the
arresting officers (New York Times, 2015). When information was leaked of this tragedy, people in
the community were negatively affected, and many began to riot. At this point, the question is not
how to stop the rioting, but how to prevent it?
In order to prevent such a widespread, repetitive tragedy, we must look deep into the roots of a
community. When we break... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is directly linked to the lack of well paying jobs and education. People in these
underprivileged communities, most of the time, lack the financial stability to be able to
achieve a successful education. Some are forced to drop out of school to work and care for their
families (Beilenson and McGuire, 2012). The US Census did report, from 2009 through 2013,
80.2% of the population, ages 25 and older, had graduated from high school; 26.8% had achieved
at least a Bachelor s degree (US Census, 2015). Are the riots partly a cry for help from the poor?
Maybe this is the attention that the people of Baltimore think they need in order to show the world
of their deficiencies, especially the city s youth (MSNBC News, 2015). There is also the
consideration of outsiders coming into the community to take advantage of a hurting and crumbling
city (MSNBC News, 2015). Most of these outsiders are wanting representation of the movement for
their lives, using the riots as their voices (MSNBC News, 2015). The rioting is destroying the city
of Baltimore, only receiving negative attention. Instead of helping the community and building a
strong, safe protester union, the unlawful riots are only building distrust, in turn hurting the

The author begins the article by preparing the audience what is about to come. Telling the audience
that cultures around the world have unusual customs and an anthropologist would even seek out a
culture that has one when everyone seems to agree. He then talks about the Nacirema tribe and the
extremities of their practices.
When introducing the tribe, he first talks about where they are located and their possible origins.
The people of Nacirema practice rituals focused on the human body aside to their devotion to
economic pursuits. Miner starts by describing why they do such rituals, which is to maintain the
appearance and health of the human body. The author proves his authority and devotion to the

Classroom Behavior In The Classroom
In the article A STUDY ON THE MANAGEMENT OF CLASSROOM BEHAVIOUR PROBLEMS
AT SECONDARY LEVEL by Dr. G. N. Tiwari and Heena Panwar, recommendations were given to
better the classroom environment to make it conducive to learning. Some of the recommendations
were stopping misbehavior immediately, using nonverbal signals, using simple and clear
instructions, researching on behavior problems and planning should be done well. These
recommendations will further be explained throughout this essay. The first clear recommendation
to curbing behavioral problems is stopping misbehavior immediately. The teacher must always try
to have an eye and give an ear to the students in the class, therefore, they must always be aware.
This is not always easy, so the teacher might slip up and the students uses that moment to do
something wrong. When the student uses his/her opportunity to disrupt the class because they do
not understand what is been taught, the teacher must immediately stop it from progressing.
According to Bandura, Positive (or negative) reinforcement will have little impact if the
reinforcement offered externally does not match with an individual s needs. Reinforcement can be
positive or negative, but the important factor is that it will usually lead to a change in a person s
behavior. This shows that when the teacher stops the student and uses his/her method of punishing
the student, the student will be negatively reinforced to not to perform the action again (McLeod,
2016). The

Polyethylene Glycol Research Paper
The polymer that I choose is polyethylene glycol (PEG). Polyethylene glycol is produced because
of the interaction with ethylene oxide with water, ethylene glycol or ethylene glycol oligomers.
Some cons of using polyethylene glycol are hypersensitivity, unexpected change in
pharmacokinetic behavior, and toxic side products. PEG is also a laxative that can also be used to
prepare the bowels before surgery. PEG is also used to slow the clearing of protein from the blood.
This makes medicine last longer in the body. Polyethylene glycol has also been used to help the
healing of the spine inn dogs and PEG can also help with nerve damage. PEG is most commonly
used with the skinbecause it has maintains it shape well, it is also pliable so doctors can put it in
place before setting it with a green LED light.

Teamwork And Non-Verbal Communication
Have you ever seen those adorable animated commercial that are played often in the movie theater
before the movie starts. I remember liking those commercials and considering them pretty adorable.
Although as I turned older, I realized that these simple animated cartoons shared important concepts
that you can put into your life. One of the concepts portrayed in the cartoon was teamwork. The
cartoons tended to show that if you don t work together, something will go very wrong. In real life I
find that this is reasonably true. Teamwork is important to accomplish something; the only issue is
that if you don t use teamwork, something noticeably upsetting or wrong doesn t always happen
like it portrays in the animate cartoons. Like the teamwork it portrayed in those cartoons, I learned
that while during my service. Among other communicationqualities I learned teamwork. Other
concepts of communication that we, as a group, identified while doing our service project include
different types of communication, different personalities, and gender roles. I will talk about the
types of communication first, then teamwork, personality will be next, and lastly gender roles.
Those aren t the only concepts of communication, however we just decided to focus on those ones.
What scholars say on different types of communications is the book breaks communication into two
main categories with sub categories. The two main categories are non verbal communication and
verbal communication. Non verbal

Psychology Is The Scientific Study Of Human Brain And Its...
Psychology is the scientific study of human brain and its characteristics, especially the functions
that drives our behaviour (Colman, 1999). It is a type of study which emerged in the nineteenth
century and struggled in the first period to find the appropriate issues of a human to study. To be
more precise, firstly, the study was focused with determining the unconscious behaviour of human
which later transformed into analysing the behaviour of humans and animals due to the influence
of the environment. Later on, from 1950s onwards, the perspectives of psychology is determined in
three aspects, that are, humanistic, cognitive and biological (Colman, 1999). The first one deals
with the sole features of the experience of humans as they are free to think and choose their activity
in their own way which are fundamentally different from animals. The cognitive approach thinks
with the thoughts and mental processes of humans how they acquire, store and receive information
from the outside world. The last one is about the biological setting of humans and animals, which
means to perceive physical functions of the thoughts and processes portrayed through various
bodily structures and biochemical processes. From the above introduction, it is clear that
psychology offers a vast area of study presently, however, this question specifically asks about the
mental progression of humans that is the sensation and perceptionwhich drives them to behave in
several ways. Therefore, the answer

Disadvantages Of Bilingualism
The struggles of learning a new language often overshadow the added advantage of
bilingualism; in a globalized English speaking world however, the need to acquire the tongue of
the trade becomes more apparent. As an immigrant, my advantage of having access and support
to learn English at a young age enabled me to embark on a smooth journey transitioning into
bilingualism. However, had this opportunity come at a later, less malleable stage of my life, I
would have surely been lost, like my parents in a limbo between cultures and stranded by
language. A debate surrounded by both political and ethnic tensions, the argument over
bilingualism and the enforcement of English education creates a polarizing split in opinions.
Although Richard Rodriguez and Martin Espada shares the common similarity of bilingualism,
their arguments reveal two uniquely different views influenced by their opposing backgrounds.
An advocate of bilingualism, Martin Espada writes in the essay, The New Bathroom Policy at
English High School to express his unique perspective. As a native English speaker, Espada values
the ability to express personal culture through the use of language. Espada s arguments represent a
large group silenced by their lack of ability to speak English. Witnessing the disadvantages faced
by non English speakers, Espada views bilingualism as a conjoining factor; his definition unifies a
group of individuals by their ability to bridge and glue together distinct communities using

Case Study Of Barclays
3.6.2Barclays Case study
3.6.2.1Barclays: Historical Perspective on the British giant
Throughout the history of multinational banking, British banks have retained large market
shares in a variety of countries over long periods of time (Jones, 1990 and Wilkins, 1970). As
outlined at the initial stage of this dissertation, CSR as a concept appeared for the first time in
the 1950s (Bowen, 1953). On that basis, this sub section will focus on a historical perspective of
Barclays from the post war period onwards. The main banking strategies of the post war period
(1945 1980) emphasized geographical diversification. Barclays established branches overseas on
the grounds that British multinational manufacturers would need the dynamic assistance of British
banks in the post war world. By establishing foreign branches, Barclays signalled to its clients that
it was willing to guarantee all its global assets for local activities. Moreover, several banks
established development corporations, with the intention of providing credit facilities in developing

usually more than one design approach for the product architecture is proposed and documented in

Rationale For Selecting Tasks For The New And Revised...
For a detailed description of the test authors rationale for selecting tasks for the new and revised
subtests of the KBIT 2, we recommend that interested readers refer to chapter 3 of the Manual. A
discussion of results of initial analyses for these items in terms of fairness and validity can be
found in chapter 4. In chapter 5, Kaufman and Kaufman examine raw scores for different age
groups across the KBIT 2 subtests to confirm a developmental pattern of growth and decline in
performance that has been reported in other tests purporting to measure similar constructs
(Kaufman Lichtenberger, 2002). Based on evidence from previous tests, mean raw scores should
increase through early adulthood, peak in middle age, and then decline gradually... Show more

At that point, the raw scores steadily declined across the older age groups. Kaufman and Kaufman
note that the peak level for fluid intelligence on the KBIT 2 extends into higher age ranges than
peak levels for other tests, suggesting that a causal factor is the nature of Matrices, which is neither
timed nor speeded and contains no motor component. Kaufman and Kaufman carried out
concurrent validity studies with other cognitive and achievement tests, with the interval between
administration of the KBIT 2 and comparison tests not exceeding 7 weeks. Some distributions for
individual test comparisons are fairly representative of the four geographic regions, but a few
studies (e.g., Wechsler Abbreviated Scale of Intelligence [WASI], Wechsler Adult Intelligence
Scales, Third Edition [WAIS III], and Wide Range Achievement Tests, Third Edition [WRAT3])
specifically lack representation of participants from the West and North Central regions. The
authors state that samples for the concurrent validity studies include representative proportions of
participants with special education classifications or with clinical diagnoses; however, we could
not locate details of the types of classifications or diagnoses in the Manual text or tables. Results of
all of the comparison validity studies, including the original and adjusted correlations, are displayed
in tables in the

Mr. Gershon Case
Ms. Gershon was deposed at 1 o clock on September 1st at the office of Plaintiff s counsel. Her
deposition lasted a little over two hours and was the cities primary witness. Plaintiff s counsel
examination was very easy going and non confrontational. Ms. Gershon appears to be an older
lady, but very put together, well dressed, and appears very educated. Her presentation was very
honest and fourth coming. She appears to make a very good witness. Ms. Gershon, prior to
working for the City of Roseburg worked as a claims adjuster for Liberty Mutual General Accident

Ms. Gershon testified that Mr. Welchel s initial complaints were regarding the exterior and
exposed walls. She testified that according to Mr. Welchel at the time those walls were not meant
to be exposed and that they are interior walls. Ms. Gershon stated that the city looked into how to
remedy the issues. One such remedy was a proposed application of a product to the exterior wall
which would act as sealant. However, the city was uncertain as to the sealant s reliability. The city
ultimately decided to give and remunerate Mr. Welchel with the funds so that he could provide the
repairs to the exterior walls himself. It was at that time they drafted the 1994 release agreement. Ms.
Gershon stated that the walkway and the planters appeared to be in all at that period of time.
Subsequent to entering the 1994 agreement, Ms. Gershon testified that she did not hear any
complaints from Jim Welchel until around 2008 in which at that time he came into her office
complaining of water damage to his building from the planters. Following that interaction, Ms.
Gershon had the water irrigation system turned off. Ms. Gershon testified that the decision was not

Inbreeding In The Habsburg Dynasty
Inbreeding is an extremely controversial topic of debate that has been around since biblical times.
The most extreme form of inbreeding is incest, which is primarily between first cousins and second
first cousins. Inbreeding is practiced for many different reasons including royalty, religion, culture,
socioeconomic class, geographic isolation, and small populations. Possibly the most dramatic
instance of incest for reasons of royalty was within Habsburg Dynasty. The Habsburg Dynasty was
one of the most powerful dynasties in Medieval and Renaissance Europe, beginning in the early
12th century. The group controlled huge portions of Europe including Switzerland, Austria,
Hungary, Italy, France, and Spain, maintaining control by marrying only within their dynasty. Most
marriages within the dynasty were consanguineous, meaning marriage between close blood
relatives, taking place between first cousins, double first cousins, and uncles/nieces. Although their
inbreeding originally led to their rise in power, it consequently led to their eventual demise. By the
end of the 17th century, the negative effects of their marital practices became obvious through that
the dynasty had distinctive physical mutations including a protruding lip, high infant mortality rate,
and many health problems. By 1700, the Habsburgs were sterile, therefore unable to produce a heir.
Another effect of these marriages was that infant and child mortality rose to about 50% within the
Spanish Habsburgs. There

Fetal Pig Research Paper
When society thinks about starfish, perch, chordate, and fetal pig they become extremely
curious about how their bodies operate because of how they are made up. I will give a brief
synopsis of all animals before going into major detail about them. According to the online website
named dictionary.com, Starfish are any echinoderm of the class Asteroidea, having the body
radially arranged, usually in the form of a star, with five or more rays or arms radiating from a
central disk; asteroid (dictionary.com). It is known that a chordateis an animalbelonging to the
phylum Chordata, composed of true vertebrates and animals having a notochord (dictionary.com).
According to research, a fetal pig is an animal in the phylum Chordata and class Mammalia

Pharmacist Personal Statement
Growing up in a family filled with scientists, my life has always had an element of science
connected to it. However of all the sciences, chemistry excites me most and I am always willing to

of this genuine interest in chemistry that i m able to conclud that Pharmacyis the right course for me
because it serves both my desire to study chemistry while at the same is time has an extremely
important ethical aspect. Studying the subject I enjoy most while being able to provide a

What Is The Similarities Between Pride And Prejudice And...
Interrelationships in Joe Wright s Pride and Prejudice (2005) and Atonement (2007)
Joe Wright (London, 1972 ) is an internationally acclaimed English film director. He is particularly
famous for the cinematic adaptations of two major works within English Literature; that is, Jane
Austen s Pride and Prejudice (1813) and Ian McEwan s Atonement (2001). In the following essay, I
shall discuss the interrelationships that can be found between the two, with a special focus on the
central motifs, the audio visuals, the cast and crew and lastly, the angle taken by Wright himself on
his own cinematic production.
Pride and Prejudice and Atonement s central motifs are to some extent alike. In Pride and
Prejudice, the couple has to hurdle both Darcy s pride and Elizabeth s derisive prejudice towards
him so that they fulfil their love. In Atonement, love is also an important theme, yet Cecilia and
Robbie s relationship is portrayed quite differently. In Pride and Prejudice, love and desire are
portrayed in a more sentimental and chaste manner whereas in Atonement the portrait is much more
troublesome and passionate. The historical ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

the steadicam tracking shot should be highlighted. It is used in both films, in Pride and Prejudice
for example, it is used at the beginning of the narrative when Elizabeth goes through the laundry

this shot is used to portray a clear image of the war. The use of these shots give the viewer a sense
of being inside the story; they engage viewers in the narrative. Besides, when Wright was asked at
the Toronto Film Festival whether such shots excited him when he is watching a film, he

Danes, King Hrothgar s territory. An unnamed coastguard is obviously intimidated by the
proportion, design, and occupants of Beowulf s craft, yet he stops the warrior to ask his business
and inquire after his heritage. Thus, the hero of Beowulf, the great warriorhimself, introduces
himself to the coastguard and in doing so, to the readers (or oral audiences of the time). Beowulf

each other s beliefs. In Barcelona in the year 1263, a disputation occurred between Jewish convert,

Aragon, where Barcelona is, a Christian King, James I, ruled the region. Therefore, it was quite
courageous for Rabbi Moses to visit for the disputation, even though he was promised freedom of
speech by King James. In particular, the Barcelona Disputation was focused on the Talmud and the
understanding of the Messiah. This writing will examine both a Christian account and a Jewish

Anatomy And Physiology Of The Heart
ALTERED HEMODYNAMICS Hemodynamics is the study of blood flow and circulation
throughout the body. A muscle known as the heart is a major organ that circulates blood through
the human body by veins and arteries known as the circulatory system. During the pumping action
it carries deoxygenated blood through the veins to the lungs where oxygenation takes place and is
then circulated through the arteries back to the heart.
Anatomy and Physiology of the Heart
The heart is located in the thoracic cavity of the chest in the middle of the lungs and beneath the
sternum. At the base, or top of the heart, is the aorta, pulmonary arteries, and superior vena cava.
It forms a tip called the apex or the bottom and rests on top of the diaphragm and points to the left
side of the body. The area around the heart is called the pericardia cavity. It is made up of a fluid
filled area known as the pericardium, this protects the muscle from friction that could be obtained
from the surrounding organs when it contracts. The heart wall has three layers; the epicardium,
myocardium, and endocardium. The epicardium is the outer most layer known as the visceral layer
of the pericardium. Beneath the epicardium is the myocardium. The myocardium is the thick
muscular layer that contains cardiac muscle tissue, which causes the heart to pump. The inside of
the heart is the endocardium. It is an endothelium layer that causes the inside of the heart to be
smooth to prevent blood from sticking to the walls of

Analysis Of George Washington Carver s The Golden Door...
George Washington Carver once said Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom.
Freedom can be defined in various ways by different people. To many immigrants, America is
often seen as that opportunity of freedom, the freedom to learn, the freedom to love, and even just
the freedom to exist. In this paper, I will put into words the story behind a second generation
female immigrant s experiences. By using various articles and notes given in class, I will talk
about her and her familys assimilation process and how their freedom involves the power of
education. I interviewed a second generation individual for this paper. I shall call her Margo, for
the sake of confidentiality purposes. She is currently a high school student. Margo was born in
America to two immigrant parents, making her a second generation immigrant (Feliciano Lec 01

India. Margo s parents came to America to escape the ongoing civil war that was taking place in
Sri Lanka. There was a rivalry between the Tamils and the Sinhalese, two groups of people in Sri
Lanka. Being Tamil, her family was faced with so many disadvantages, seeing that the Sinhalese
were the dominant group. During the war, her family faced a lot of discrimination. Margo s mom

Star Wars was a momentous movie for the time, thanks to the technology, just like Avatar, Star
Wars film makers used green or blue screens, instead of using mirrors to project models and sets
into live action, as previously done to. Both movies used special effects, but particularly in Star
Wars this proved a benefit for the film. The special effect techniques advanced enough and look
real enough for the time, for example the use of holographs for communication. Star Wars set the
standard that it was beneficial to invest heavily in special effects to make the movie stand out,
profitable, and have staying power. Another reason why Star Wars was thought to be ahead of the
time was from having surround sound, making it more popular. With most science fiction films,
they didn t have humanistic creatures, more of the little green men we thought of, but Star Wars

Corrosion Of Mild Steel And Its Effect On The Natural State
Mild steel is an alloy of iron and 0.2 % carbon widely used in construction, as it is readily
available, malleable and relatively inexpensive. One use of mild steel is on the hulls of seafaring
ships. However, corrosion due to the salt water environment and pounding waves is a major
problem with the use of steel. Metallic corrosion is estimated to amount to 4% of a developed
country s GDP per year. Therefore corrosion of mild steel and its prevention are major concerns.
Metallic corrosion occurs in the presence of oxygen and water. It is the electrochemical degradation
of metals to their natural state. These states are more stable than high energy metallic states
(Escobar Cantu, 2011). An electrolyte, such as salt water, will... Show more content on

The most negative E0 values are placed at the top and the most positive are placed at the bottom
(see appendix 1.4). The closer to the top of the series a metal is (the more negative it is), the
more likely the metal is to lose electrons and oxidise. This works in the reverse as well, the more
positive the E0 value, the more the metal will reduce. When metals are paired together, the metal
with the higher oxidising strength (lower on the table) will be reduced (Clark, 2013). The
electrochemical series is used in cathodic protection to determine a more reactive metal which can
be sacrificed to protect a pre existing metal.
Another way of determining the reducing and oxidising agent in a redox reaction is to examine the
change in oxidation numbers. An oxidation number represents the total amount of electrons that an
atom loses or gains to form a chemical bond. Oxidation numbers are assigned according to a set of
rules and depend on the electronegativity of the element. In redox reactions the oxidation number of
an oxidant will decrease. This is because the element is being reduced, receiving negatively charged
electrons. The oxidation number of a reductant will increase because the substance has more
positively charged protons than negatively charged electrons.
The corrosion of iron is an example of a redox reaction where change in oxidation numbers and the
electrochemical series can be used to determine reduction and oxidation. Iron

Immunisation and other control measures are put in place to control them so that the diseases
do not affect the whole population. This also may include food hygiene measures in restaurants
and takeaways to control the spread of food poising. Communicable disease is carried out by
microorganisms and then transmitted through people, animals, foods and pollution. In the UK,
the government promotes health related points such as five a day this promotes to eat five fruit
or vegetable a day, do regular exercise, eat a balanced diet. When people have a baby they are

Spanish Conquistadors
The Spanish conquistadors who vanquished Cuba in the 16th century are known for the suffering
they caused among conquered peoples. Yet, the same brute force that exploited native populations

his second voyage in 1494. Nineteen years later, Spanish conquistador Diego Velasquez conquered
the island under the command of Columbus son Diego Columbus. After Spainestablished political

agricultural industry founded in Cuba by the Spanish became the colony s main source of income.
When the Spanish arrived in Cuba in the late fifteenth century, they discovered tobacco native to
the region and brought it back to Europe, where it was admired for its unique taste (Garcia).
Tobacco encomiendas were built across the island and the crop was shipped to Europe in
exchange for manufactured goods. Other cash crops including sugarcane, coffee, and animal hides
were also exported via Spanish ships and taken to European consumers (Woodward). By 1600,
Cuban tobacco had become renowned worldwide for its superior quality and cost nearly three times
the price of its competitors (NAter). Though the success of the encomienda system is controversial
due to its lack of morality, Cuba s economic development would not have been made possible
without them. The agricultural industries and business partners formed by Spanish colonists
enabled Cuba to rise as a powerful trade hub between Europe and the Americas. Prior to Spanish
conquest, Cuba had no connections to the outside world and natives survived as hunter gatherers (
The Colonial Years ). When they colonized the island, the Spanish built economic institutions that

There are few main fields of research in Sentiment analysis: sentiment classification, feature based sentiment classification and opinion summarization. Sentiment classification deals with classifying entire document according to the opinions shown with respect to a certain object. While feature based sentiment classification considers the opinions on the features of a certain object. Opinion summarization task is different compared to traditional text summarization because only the features of the product are examined on which the customers have expressed their opinions via any social media. These recommendations will further be explained throughout this essay. The first clear recommendation to curbing behavioral problems is stopping misbehavior immediately. The teacher must always try to have an eye and give an ear to the students in the class, therefore, they must always be aware. This is not always easy, so the teacher might slip up and the students uses that moment to do something wrong. When the student uses his/her opportunity to disrupt the class because they do not understand what is been taught, the teacher must immediately stop it from progressing. According to Bandura, Positive (or negative) reinforcement will have little impact if the reinforcement offered externally does not match with an individual s needs. Reinforcement can be positive or negative, but the important factor is that it will usually lead to a change in a person s behavior. This shows that when the teacher stops the student and uses his/her method of punishing the student, the student will be negatively reinforced to not to perform the action again (McLeod, 2016). The cartoons tended to show that if you don t work together, something will go very wrong. In real life I find that this is reasonably true. Teamwork is important to accomplish something; the only issue is that if you don t use teamwork, something noticeably upsetting or wrong doesn t always happen like it portrays in the animate cartoons. Psychology is the scientific study of human brain and its characteristics, especially the functions that drives our behaviour (Colman, 1999). It is a type of study which emerged in the nineteenth century and struggled in the first period to find the appropriate issues of a human to study. To be more precise, firstly, the study was focused with determining the unconscious behaviour of human which later transformed into analysing the behaviour of humans and animals due to the influence of the environment. Later on, from 1950s onwards, the perspectives of psychology is determined in three aspects, that are, humanistic, cognitive and biological (Colman, 1999). The first one deals with the sole features of the experience of humans as they are free to think and choose their activity in their own way which are fundamentally different from animals. The cognitive approach thinks with the thoughts and mental processes of humans how they acquire, store and receive information from the outside world. The last one is about the biological setting of humans and animals, which means to perceive physical functions of the thoughts and processes portrayed through various bodily structures and biochemical processes. From the above introduction, it is clear that psychology offers a vast area of study presently, however, this question specifically asks about the mental progression of humans that is the sensation and perceptionwhich drives them to behave in several ways. As an immigrant, my advantage of having access and support to learn English at a young age enabled me to embark on a smooth journey transitioning into bilingualism. However, had this opportunity come at a later, less malleable stage of my life, I would have surely been lost, like my parents in a limbo between cultures and stranded by language. A debate surrounded by both political and ethnic tensions, the argument over bilingualism and the enforcement of English education creates a polarizing split in opinions. Although Richard Rodriguez and Martin Espada shares the common similarity of bilingualism, their arguments reveal two uniquely different views influenced by their opposing backgrounds. An advocate of bilingualism, Martin Espada writes in the essay, The New Bathroom Policy at English High School to express his unique perspective. As a native English speaker, Espada values the ability to express personal culture through the use of language. The most extreme form of inbreeding is incest, which is primarily between first cousins and second first cousins. Inbreeding is practiced for many different reasons including royalty, religion, culture, socioeconomic class, geographic isolation, and small populations. Possibly the most dramatic instance of incest for reasons of royalty was within Habsburg Dynasty. The Habsburg Dynasty was one of the most powerful dynasties in Medieval and Renaissance Europe, beginning in the early 12th century. The group controlled huge portions of Europe including Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Italy, France, and Spain, maintaining control by marrying only within their dynasty. Most marriages within the dynasty were consanguineous, meaning marriage between close blood relatives, taking place between first cousins, double first cousins, and uncles/nieces. Although their inbreeding originally led to their rise in power, it consequently led to their eventual demise. By the end of the 17th century, the negative effects of their marital practices became obvious through that the dynasty had distinctive physical mutations including a protruding lip, high infant mortality rate, and many health problems. I was given the chance to talk to a few customers who were in these states, I learnt it is not only doctors who require the virtue of patience but Pharmacists to. Interrelationships in Joe Wright s Pride and Prejudice (2005) and Atonement (2007) Joe Wright (London, 1972 ) is an internationally acclaimed English film director. He is particularly famous for the cinematic adaptations of two major works within English Literature; that is, Jane Austen s Pride and Prejudice (1813) and Ian McEwan s Atonement (2001). In the following essay, I shall discuss the interrelationships that can be found between the two, with a special focus on the central motifs, the audio visuals, the cast and crew and lastly, the angle taken by Wright himself on his own cinematic production. Pride and Prejudice and Atonement s central motifs are to some extent alike. In Pride and Prejudice, the couple has to hurdle both Darcy s pride and Elizabeth s derisive prejudice towards him so that they fulfil their love. In Atonement, love is also an important theme, yet Cecilia and Robbie s relationship is portrayed quite differently. In Pride and Prejudice, love and desire are portrayed in a more sentimental and chaste manner whereas in Atonement the portrait is much more troublesome and passionate. The historical ... A muscle known as the heart is a major organ that circulates blood through the human body by veins and arteries known as the circulatory system. During the pumping action it carries deoxygenated blood through the veins to the lungs where oxygenation takes place and is then circulated through the arteries back to the heart. Anatomy and Physiology of the Heart The heart is located in the thoracic cavity of the chest in the middle of the lungs and beneath the sternum. At the base, or top of the heart, is the aorta, pulmonary arteries, and superior vena cava. It forms a tip called the apex or the bottom and rests on top of the diaphragm and points to the left side of the body. The area around the heart is called the pericardia cavity. It is made up of a fluid filled area known as the pericardium, this protects the muscle from friction that could be obtained from the surrounding organs when it contracts. The heart wall has three layers; the epicardium, myocardium, and endocardium. The epicardium is the outer most layer known as the visceral layer of the pericardium. Beneath the epicardium is the myocardium. The myocardium is the thick muscular layer that contains cardiac muscle tissue, which causes the heart to pump. The inside of the heart is the endocardium. Corrosion Of Mild Steel And Its Effect On The Natural State Mild steel is an alloy of iron and 0.2 % carbon widely used in construction, as it is readily available, malleable and relatively inexpensive. Metallic corrosion is estimated to amount to 4% of a developed country s GDP per year. Therefore corrosion of mild steel and its prevention are major concerns. Metallic corrosion occurs in the presence of oxygen and water. It is the electrochemical degradation of metals to their natural state. The most negative E0 values are placed at the top and the most positive are placed at the bottom (see appendix 1.4). The closer to the top of the series a metal is (the more negative it is), the more likely the metal is to lose electrons and oxidise. This works in the reverse as well, the more positive the E0 value, the more the metal will reduce. When metals are paired together, the metal with the higher oxidising strength (lower on the table) will be reduced (Clark, 2013). The electrochemical series is used in cathodic protection to determine a more reactive metal which can be sacrificed to protect a pre existing metal. Another way of determining the reducing and oxidising agent in a redox reaction is to examine the change in oxidation numbers. An oxidation number represents the total amount of electrons that an atom loses or gains to form a chemical bond. Oxidation numbers are assigned according to a set of rules and depend on the electronegativity of the element. In redox reactions the oxidation number of an oxidant will decrease. This is because the element is being reduced, receiving negatively charged electrons. The oxidation number of a reductant will increase because the substance has more positively charged protons than negatively charged electrons. The corrosion of iron is an example of a redox reaction where change in oxidation numbers and the electrochemical series can be used to determine reduction and oxidation. Iron ...
