Health Insurance has been another controversy in the debates of Wal Mart. Wal Mart employees,
especially full time employees should get health care. The opposition to this is that aside from
Starbucks no large employer gives health insurance to part time employees due to high costs of

Wal Mart covers only 43% of employees with health insurance as oppose to the average 66% that
other large companies cover. If Wal Mart were to reach the average coverage rate, they would be
covering an additional 320,000 employees. Wal Mart employees are paid poorly if at all for their
work and are rarely covered with health insurance. The Wal Mart corporation states that 90% of
it s workers have health insurance. In actuality, the 90% who are covered, around 50% of those
are insured because of their spouses employer, who, by the way, may be a union employer. Wal

was quickly shut down once is became unionized however, and this is not the only case like this.

The first difference I noticed after watching two scenes was the involvement of audience.
Broadway Play is a recorded film of a live play in which audiences and actors both exist actors

In this paper I will argue that selecting only one form of egoism is not enough to explain human
motives and that it takes a mix of several theories to explain it, specifically a mix of ethical egoism

The tone of a story could easily be labeled as the most important element, since it is sets the mood
for the story. The author uses tone to describe the mood towards the stories characters and
surroundings. Tone is not expressed directly, instead it is created by using words that depict certain
meanings or make the reader feel a specific way. For example, dark colors are said to be associated
with negative moods, while lighter colors seem happy and peaceful. In this story, Updike uses an
informal and bitterly sarcastic tone to demonstrate Sammy s resistance to conformity through word
choice and language. Throughout the story, Sammy is consistently showing his difficulty in
accepting that adults conform to the norms.

Everyone needs some form of escape from reality. While this varies from person to person, with
the entertainment business booming, it is safe to infer that many find their comfort with movie
theatres. Many of these people like to be engulfed by the story of their movie. My escape,
however, comes from just being inside the theatre. There is something magical about theatres
that keeps bringing me back. The first time I vividly remember going to the movies was when
the second Harry Potter movie released. I finally watched the first movie on our brand new
DVD player and read the four books that had been released. When the Saturday came to go to
the Edwards in Irvine, I woke up extra early to make terrible pancakes for everybody (this is also

How has literacy impacted my life? From learning to read sight words and write sentences to
progressing all the way to thick chapter books and lengthy essays, literacy has been a long and
incredibly significant journey in my life. Literacy has been a fantastic and influential adventure
because of exciting personal experiences that first took root at age two, the inspiration of an
elementary school teacher, Mrs. Peake, and memorable events including the Accelerated Reader
program and discovering my favorite childhood book series. My literacy narrative first unfolded
in the playroom of my childhood home when I was an inquisitive two year old. My parents would
