Background: Cut and chip is a phenomena in tires that manifests itself primarily from prolonged
off road use. As the tires are used off road, the tread compound will be cut by rocks and eventually
large pieces of the tread rubber are chipped off. Current tests involve manufacturing a series of test
tires and sending them to a test track in Texas. The tires are then run on a controlled gravel road.
Each set of tires is run for 1000 miles, 500 each day for two days. In each set of 500 miles, 100
miles are on flint rock and 400 miles are on the highway. The tires are then ranked visually by
multiple engineers to determine which rubber compounds demonstrate the best cut and chip
resistance. Thus, current testing is expensive, time intensive, and subjective. Students at Ohio
Northern University therefore built a tester that can use a lab test for tread rubber compounds.
Cooper will be able to save time and money by testing much fewer compounds with the road test.
However, although this tester is a very successful design, the cut and chip lab test using this tester

Spring 2017 was the worst semesters for me in comparison to my entire college education. I

To make a confession, I can truly say that I couldn t get used to use them easily because to
understand them, you should think about more than one symbolism in the poem, and create a
common meaning through them. It was hard for me at the beginning, but I got used to it now.
Moreover, I wrote about a paragraph of symbolism in my summative poetry analysis, which I think
I successfully did. I included one of the poems I wrote before to improve my usage of metaphors
to my portfolio, it is called Art of Realization . This is a poem that tells about a person, who
understands the magic of the books and sees the art behind them. I used the line I turned the thin
skin of the dead tree, which symbolizes the pages of the book. I asked one of my friends to read
my poem, and she said that she never thought the pages as thin skin of the dead tree . I really think
that this line is both understandable and impressive, that s why I chose this one. Symbolisms are
very important because they create different perspectives that expand the meaning of the poem.

Sustainability In The Meat Industry
Sustainability is an issue the whole world is facing but in particular it is become a big problem in
the livestock industry. Greenhouse gases are the cause and in order to preserve the planet for future
generation s changes must be made. Methane is the greenhouse gas which produced by livestock.
Methane is approximately 30 times worse for the environment than carbon dioxide as it is a heat
trapping gas. If sustainabilityneeds the achieved in the Livestock industry than the issue of methane
must be taken care of sooner rather than later.
Sustainability in agriculture is sustain the world s population with sufficient food and textile while
still preserving the earth s resources for future generations. To achieve sustainability in livestock
production a sufficient amount of these products must be produced to satisfy the ever increasing
demands of the growing population while also reducing the amount of greenhouse gases produced.
As the demand for sustainable and ethically sourced food is becoming greater some changes need

Animals that have a ruminant (a stomach with regurgitated and practically digested food) are
the biggest contributes to these greenhouse gas emissions. For example cattle can produce up to 70
