evening meal. He explained to us that he addresses the conflicts that arise from fluid

food, and loader. Afterwards, we met with Yolanda to observe her printing the first

morning shift in DCC is responsible for printing out the queue list, updates and late
trays using Vista software. Once she printed the tray tickets, she cut each page into
3 and ordered the tickets based on each unit. Yolanda mentioned that each meal has

millions of followers from around the globe, it has grown to become one of the
largest religious faiths. Every single one of these Christians has their own unique

George Weigel shares his experience as a Catholic growing up in late 1950 s and

In 2016, a Volkswagen engineer by the name of James Liang pled guilty to
criminal charges related to a gas emissions scandal (Isidore). The scandal was a
result of Volkswagen engineers trying to pass the strict United States emission
standards by cheating diesel engine emissions tests with software designed to
recognize when emissions testing was being performed and regulate emissions
accordingly (Chambers). By cheating the tests in this way, the diesel engine
vehicles were able to pass US standards when tested while maintaining vehicle
performance when being driven on the open road. However, when these diesel
vehicles were driving on the open road, the gas emissions were not being controlled
and the vehicles were actually emitting up to 40 times the acceptable limit (Isidore).
This clearly presents some ethical issues, especially when analyzing the scandal from
a Kantian perspective and focusing on the moral duty of the engineers involved. If

Characterization of Beowulf
The dialogue, action and motivation revolve about the characters in the poem
(Abrams 32 33). It is the purpose of this essay to demonstrate the types of characters
present in the anonymously written Anglo Saxon poem, Beowulf whether static or
dynamic, whether flat or round, and whether protrayed through showing or telling.
At the very outset of the poem the reader is introduced, through telling by the scop, to

Human activities like dam construction, dredging, and agricultures cause large
amount of sediment transports in rivers, lakes, and estuaries. Erosion and
sedimentation is a global issue that tends to be primarily associated with water
quality. Pollution by sediment has two major types. For a physical dimension, erosion
leads to excessive levels of turbidity in waters and the turbidity limits penetration of
sunlight thereby prohibiting growth of algae and rooted aquatic plants. High levels of
sedimentation lead to physical disruption of the hydraulic characteristics of the
channel which have serious impacts on reduction in channel depth, and it can cause
increased flooding. For a chemical dimension, the silt and clay fraction ( 62mm) is a
primary carrier of adsorbed chemicals originated from agricultures like phosphorus,
chlorinated pesticides and most metals transported into the aquatic system. The use
of numerical hydrologic, hydraulic, and sediment transport models has greatly
expanded to predict and interpret behavior of erosion and sediment runoff for
