1.Introduction
Well from the brief it said I have to create a town due to a problem.
Which is that the city Is to crowded and I have to create a new city to keep it
balance.
So what I have to do is basically create a town for the newly residence. I
have a few selection of choice of my town which is, a town in an island, a
town with a lake, a town with a river and a town next to a sea. So my chosen
town is a town with a lake.
I have to indentify the problem of having a town with a lake and also
identify the benefits of having a lake in a town. I have to create a solution for
the problems. I also have to make the town relatable to the lake and also
make the town a sustainable one to!

A city is a relatively large and permanent human settlement. Although there is no
agreement on how a city is distinguished from a town within general English language
meanings, many cities have a particular administrative, legal, or historical status based on
local law.
Cities generally have complex systems for sanitation, utilities, land usage, housing, and
transportation. The concentration of development greatly facilitates interaction between people and
businesses, benefiting both parties in the process, but it also presents challenges to managing urban
growth.[3]
A big city or metropolis usually has associated suburbs and exurbs. Such cities are usually
associated with metropolitan areas and urban areas, creating numerous
business commuters traveling to urban centers for employment. Once a city expands far enough to
reach another city, this region can be deemed a conurbation or megalopolis.
The building of cities has a long and complex history. Although city planning as an organized
profession has existed for less than a century, all cities display various degrees of forethought and
conscious design in their layout and functioning.
THE FUTURE
Cities matter. The choices made by older cities and the design thought that goes into new ones
could have a big impact on global climate change. Cities are likely to gain even more in economic and
political power. If trends continue, they will remain attractive places to live, and may become much
more attractive and “livable” in the future. These changes are not necessarily given, as cities and their
inhabitants and builders have to deal with existing and sub-par infrastructure and transportation, fiscal
challenges, and the general pressure of growth. Current trends and investment suggest that cities will
continue to improve.
