If you are addressing a group of people, you can say "Dear" plus the unifying attribute.
For example:  Dear Team Members: Or: Dear All
Do not use "Sir" or "Mr." unless absolutely
certain that your correspondent is male.
It is preferred to use greetings (such as Good Morning/
Afternoon / Evening) for your first mail to the person.
COMPOSITION
I talked to them about it the other day, and they want
to see the other one before they make up their minds.
Your response would probably be the highly articulate,
"Huh???"
Remove Pronouns
The Action
Identify the type of action that the recipient has to take
after reading your message.
If multiple individuals are responsible for different
actions, clearly indicate who is responsible for what.
Do Not Do It
Do not write in CAPITALS or RED Ink.
Do not overuse Reply to All.
Do not use SMS Language
Avoid long sentences, and long mails
Answer all questions, and pre-empt further questions.
Provide all supporting information that will help the
recipient complete an action or respond successfully.
Double Check
Ensure your signatures contain contact information
Use proper spelling, grammar & punctuation.
Read the email through the eyes of the recipient before you send it.
BEING CAREFUL
Replies
Answer swiftly - Each e-mail should be replied to within 24 hours,
and preferably within the same working day.
If the email is complicated, send an email saying that you have
received it and that you will get back to them.
Respond only to messages that require one
Don't reply with just “Yes or No or Ok”
Handle
Disagreements
Work out disagreements one-on-one, either in person
Overuse of the" high priority" or "Urgent" will make it lose its
function when you really need it.
Do not use email to discuss confidential information.
No Personal discussions over Business Mails
