Application Of A Penetration Testing Against `` My House...
Chapter 3: Practical test
My House lab Scenario.
For this coursework I have decided to perform a penetration testing against My House lab , to evaluate
and improve my WLAN Infrastructure security.
The scenario that I had examined is a WLAN Infrastructure Network using a Virgin Media Super Hub
(Netgear) , with more than 10 devices connected .
Looking on the internet about the router model I own I could make an interesting discovery. I found an
article written by an expert in computer security, Paul Moore, dating back to March 2014(Paul
Moore,2014). This guy, a year ago, had found a flaw inside the super hub of VirginMedia. Indeed
reboot the router took 1 minute to start well, and in this minute for seven seconds was able to access
the WiFi network without the need for key. Fortunately Paul contacted the Virgin who in turn
contacted the Netgear to try to resolve the issue with the release of a new firmware.
Now the problem is resolved, however is an interesting issue happened, because sometimes, our
security depends not only on us and what we can do to protect it and keep it. Sometimes there may be
larger obstacles, as in this case an error of firmware that we can circumvent but not eliminate (until the
company responsible is not able to patch it).
Methodologies
I adopted different steps to performing penetration testing that is effective in testing how well the My
House lab is secure. I have used different softwares such as NMap , Wareshark,

Anatomy Of Hurricanes
Ahrens (2012) defines a hurricane as a tropical cyclone having winds in excess of 64 knots (74 mph)
(p. 501). An average person might not know the actual speed to classify it as a hurricane, but you most
certainly know when you are going to get hit with one. Hurricanes continue to be one of the deadliest
storms in the world with an interesting anatomy, different categories, and costly damage to the area
that is hit.
The anatomy of a hurricane is one that most people might just think of a tornado in the ocean . It is a
complex formation that has different layers contributing in many ways. The center of the hurricane or
the eye is an unusual because it is not the strongest part of the storm. You will find a relatively low

was a Category 1 hurricane just before landfall in Florida. During its route to Louisiana it passed over
a large area of warm water called the Loop Current , and that allowed Katrina to strengthen in such
little time (Ahrens, 2012, p. 354). It switched between a category 5 and 3 due to the replacement of the
eye wall. Louisiana was it the hardest, because levees were broken through allowing the water level to
rise above them. Much of the city was left under water forcing people to live in shelters and the

Competition Within The U.s. Pharmaceutical Industry
Competition within the U.S. pharmaceutical industry is very high. With less elastic demand than for
other industries, profit potential is enormous. Demand is more inelastic as prescription drugs are
necessary for many individuals with illnesses such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Within the
industry, there are two types of manufacturers: brand name and generic. These groups compete not
only among one another, but with each other as well. Brand name pharmaceutical companies often try
to, and succeed in preventing or delaying approval and circulation of generic equivalents. The most
common tactic used is a reverse payment settlement agreement, otherwise known as pay for delay .
Generic firms promise to delay the circulation of their ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
On the other hand, generic companies primary activities include developing, producing, marketing,
distributing, and gaining regulatory approval for generic drugs (Philips, 2014). While generic
companies do engage in research and development (R D), it s goal is to create similar drugs that the
brand name manufacturer just patented. If successful, the generic company files an Abbreviated New
Drug Application (ANDA) for approval and must make a certification against each patent by the brand
name manufacturer. To do this, the generic company must make a Paragraph IV certification which
states that the patent is invalid or will not be infringed by the generic product (Fitzpatrick, Cella,
Harper Scinto, 2012). In a reverse payment settlement agreement, brand name pharmaceutical
manufacturers provide compensation to generic pharmaceutical manufacturers in order to settle the
challenge to their patent. In order to receive the compensation, the generic company must agree to
drop its patent challenge and is restricted from marketing and distributing its product for some stated
period of time. These settlements act as patent extensions, providing the brand name firm with more
monopoly time on a drug. Reverse payment settlement agreements appeared as an unexpected result
of the Hatch Waxman Act of 1984, which

To What Extent Did Railroads Affect The Mexican Economy
To what extent did railroads affect the Mexican Economy in the years 1865 through 1929?
Section 1 Identification and Evaluation of Sources (499) The research question that is being addressed
is How did the development of railroads between 1865 to 1929 impact the Mexican economy? . The
first source s origin is a book that is titled The Civilizing Machine: A Cultural History of Mexican
Railroads, 1876 1910 written by Michael Matthews. This source helped a lot in the process of gaining
information because the information was written in a way that could be understood clearly. The
purpose of this source is to inform the general public about what had happened during the age of

The purpose of this website was to inform the reader about the era of when Porfirio Díaz was in office
and how he had affected the country as a whole. The value of this source was that there was a lot of
information on this era so there would be a lot to use. A limitation is that there is no known author so
there it not much to do if there were a question about information about the details in the article. The
source comes from a government run website which makes this a credible site. The third, and last,
source is an essay called Impact of Railroads in Mexico and India written by Nick Cannon as a part of
his series, Edges of Empire . The purpose of this essay was to compare and contrast what was
happening economically in both Mexico and India. It showed their similarities and differences in a
way where each country had their own little section as to what specifically happened in that country.
The value of this article is the fact that although it is comparing Mexico to India, there is a lot of
information that shows just how advanced the railroads made Mexico in comparison to another
country, in this case India. There were definitely a big limitation. Since there was comparing and
contrasting in the whole essay, it was difficult to understand what the author was trying to say. It
seemed as though the essay was a bit rushed due to the fact that the author was trying to give
information about both countries. Section 2 Investigation

We have the desire to create a new form of technology and get away from gasoline cars. Electric cars
are the future in transportation and will pave the way for the auto industry in years to come. Even
though we have not seen the results we need in production, costs, and technology, people are positive
they will soon catch on. In this paper I will discuss the cultural considerations of the electric car. I will
compare the United States use of technology with other nations around the world such as China. When
comparing them, I will cover the main sources of the technology for present electric cars and also the
production. I will review America s innovation and motivation in pursuing the electric car. Based on

Violence In The Civil Rights Movement Essay
Discuss the role of violence and the media during the civil rights movement. The media brought the
disparities and refusals of essential social equality in the South to the consideration of the whole
country. America in the 1950s was still an on a very basic level supremacist country, however the
NAZI revulsions in Europe had made prejudice with the exception of in the South an untenable good
position. Indeed, even those with supremacist perspectives would progressively deny such
perspectives in courteous society and progressively dismisses government strategies limiting Black
rights. Given this move in White states of mind, media scope of the uncovering the brutalities of
Southern prejudice and suppression of genuine Black terminations turned the aware of a country.
While many if not most White Americans still harbored supremacist sees, couple of outside the South

the beatings, murders, and different brutalities uncovered by the media. Numerous northern whites did

Dark Comedy As A Satire
Johana Garcia
Cinema 3 Dark comedy is a subgenre of comedy and satire that has a way of making over sensitive
topics into pure hilarity. The term black comedy was created by French surrealist Andre Breton in his
book Anthology of Black Humor claiming that black humor is sympathizing with The abuser while
poking fun at the victim. Although Andre is not wrong black comedy is a difficult genre to incorporate
because it is willing to push the limit on what subjects the public can find funny. As for the next
aspect, black comedies are shrouded in the idea that we live in an absurd world because, otherwise,
the film would simply be sick or serious and certainly not comical. In the 1960s, themes which had
previously been dealt with only in the most serious fashion were suddenly subject to burlesque, or
parody, thus creating black comedy. This is because Dr. Strangelove (1964)(Strangelove s comedy

Ethics, The, And Social Harm Essay
The researcher is acutely aware of himself or herself regarding sensitivity towards the respondent.
Furthermore, concerning some unforeseen or unexpected mistakes those need attention. Followings
are some of the required precautions to avoid some common ethics: psychological, financial and social
harm. Professional researchers always plan the research questions or the questionnaire to prevent any
harassment (Waller, 2011). The preparation of ethics is one of the prerequisites items before engaging
in questionnaires, interviews, or surveys whether it is online or paper. In this respect, the researcher s
To Do List should include the importance of checking the prerequisites of these methods. To ensure
that NO HARM is potential, the following are imperatives (Waller, 2011):
i. The behavior is within the ethics acceptability provisional margin. ii. How research possibly affects
any participant, whether during a survey, in depth interview, the questionnaire or any similar iii.
Protect all members engaged in research such as the instructor, the assistants on the methods, if any,
and the researcher himself or herself. On this point, the form of ethics is essential before embarking on
research or study.
Other than these, the research will extensively use secondary data sources such as books, journals,
periodicals, archives, the personal agenda of individuals, surveys, questionnaires, etc. The ethics
within all these remain the responsibility of the researchers. Secondary

And there is no such consciousness. Anyway, that was one of many answers. One of my favorites was
this. This was in a public debate. A guy said to me, but suppose we ask you, do you understand
Chinese? And suppose you say, yes, I understand Chinese. Well? Well, OK, let s try that and see how

I insist on a good question period. So let me take a drink of water, and we go to the next step, which I
think is more important. A lot of people thought, well, look, maybe the computer doesn t understand
Chinese, but all the same, it does information processing.
And it does, after all, do computation. That s what we define the machine to do. And I had to review a
couple of books recently. One book said that we live in a new age, the age of information. And in a
wonderful outburst, the author said everything is information. Now that ought to worry us if
everything is information. And I read another book. This was an optimistic book. I reviewed this for
The New York Review of Books a less optimistic book by a guy who said computers are now so smart
they re almost as smart as we are. And pretty soon, they ll be just as smart as we are.
And then I don t have to tell this audience the next step. They ll be much smarter than we are. And
then look out because they might get sick of being oppressed by us. And they might simply rise up and
overthrow us all. And this, the author said modestly I guess this is how you sell books he said this may
be the greatest challenge that humanity has ever faced, the upcoming revolt of super smart computers.
Now, I want to say both of these claims are silly. I mean, I m speaking shorthand here. There ll be
plenty of chance to answer me. And I want

Benefits Of A Vacation Time
Another great benefit that we offer is our vacation benefit. After working for our company for a year,
employees will receive one week paid vacation. Two to five years of service will equate to two weeks.
Five to fifteen years of service will earn three weeks of vacation time. Vacation time will not roll over
for the year. If an employee does not use it, he will lose it. Vacation will be available for twelve
months. (Anniversary to anniversary.) All vacation time must be requested two weeks in advance for
coverage, and it does not have to be taken all at once. Furthermore, we offer sick time. This will start
accumulating after working for six months. An employee can earn two days of sick time each month,
which will accrue to twenty days a year. Sick time will roll over to the following years to a maximum
of one hundred and thirty days. We also provide personal time. Five days a year will be paid; any
other personal time has to be manager approved and will be unpaid. IRSC BAS Inc. also offers our
employees $20,000 a year for four years to help pay college tuition. The college or university will bill
IRSC BAS Inc. every semester. The company has full access to grades and GPA. The fund policy is
that an employee is required to achieve a C letter grade or higher for each class. After two consecutive

Essay On Lower House Of Government
The United States and France are two countries with similar ways of electing the lower house of
government. Both countries are divided into districts with single member representation. However, the
United States uses a majority system, first past the post, while France uses a majority plurality, two
round system. With each system there are separate advantages and disadvantages. Nonetheless, the
first past the post system used in the United States is more efficient, cost effective, and
comprehendible to the average person. The United States of America elects the lower house of
government using simple majority. This system can also be described as a plurality, or first past the
post. The United States is divided into 435 different districts by population, with one individual
representing each constituency. Members of the House of Representatives, the lower house of
government in the United States, are elected every two years. (Parline Database, 2016) The methods
by which candidates are brought to the ballot vary by state. However, most states use a partisan

Under plurality, the individual who receives the most votes receives the seat in the House of

party than votes received. If a political party receives a plurality of votes with thirty percent
nationwide, they may be the new majority party but seventy percent of the country still voted for

ideas for unexpected turns in the course of narrative. O.Henry has profoundly used this technique in

Difference Between The Shirt And Tie
Clark Duke says, I am a big fan of matching outfits in general . Matching is so important because it
can either make you the laughing stock, or make you the best dressed gentleman in the room, not only
looked as a well refined gentleman, but also gaining the 1st impression respect from everyone in the
room. To determining if Professor Jason Pitruzzello s tie matches his outfit there are 3 different
aspects to pay close attention to; the color of his shirt with the tie, the pattern of both the shirt and tie,
and his overall outfit scheme. Knowing these three things will help determine if Professor Jason
Pitruzzello s tie matches with the rest of his outfit.
The first and most basic phase of determining if his tie matches, is the color ... Show more content on

This means that the primary colors of the shirt and tie form a triangle on the color wheel. So we can
see, according to the color wheel, that the primary colors match. In addition to the color wheel we can
assess the color with our naked eyes. Overall, the shirt is a dark red color, and the tie fades from dark
to light back to the dark red. This is important because, according to TheDarkKnot.com, A
monochromatic color scheme involves choosing variants of the same color. This is exactly what is
happening with the shirt and tie combination. By using the color wheel along with the naked eye, we
can easily see that both methods show that the color combination of the tie and shirt match together.
The next aspect of determining if the tie matches is comparing the pattern of the shirt and tie. The shirt
is plaid, more specifically, a vertically running Tartan Plaid. In comparison, the tie has a diamond
pattern all the way from top to bottom. The biggest piece to look at is the plaid pattern of the shirt. The
pattern of the tie should be obviously bigger than the pattern of the shirt. This is so the tie looks larger
and can stand out so in rather than getting lost in the pattern of the shirt. In this particular instance the
tie does its job, having the bigger pattern than the shirt because of the large diamond pattern of the tie
with the plaid pattern of the shirt. Because of this relationship, the pattern of the tie matches well with
the pattern shirt.

This enables software to derive some of its functionality from other applications, hence being service

Properties of a service oriented architecture:
Self contained web service: The client should contain no services itself and no additional software.
The use of a programming language that can access a server should be enough.
Self describing web service: The data being handled should be self describing. No additional software
should be used to decode data being handled. The client only retrieves from the server.
Follow strict standards: XML and HTTP being the most common basis for web services.
Programmatic access to data: SOA provides data at the most simple level. No GUI should be

Language independent web services: The client that is using the web services of a server do not have

Rise Of American Theaters And Consumerist Desires
Rise of American Theaters And Consumerist Desires In the early twentieth century movies signified
modernity by becoming the most prevalent medium of culture in the United States in a period of time
where the social makeup was shifting from a predominantly middle class to working class
neighborhoods that were made up of many different communities. As a direct consequence,
nickelodeons, temporary storefront theaters, and vaudeville programs all flourished in the working
class districts. By the late 1920s, almost every large American city showed off a new picture palace,
an elaborately constructed movie theater. Moreover, with this transition from previous vaudeville
houses and nickelodeons to the rise of these so called picture palaces in the United States, new spaces
of consumerism were forged that focused on enlightening the average spectator as movie moguls such
as the notable Samuel Roxy Rotahfel who envisioned a specific function for all major theaters.
Consequently, I would argue that these new spaces of consumerism transformed and transfixed its
audiences architecturally (looking at the physical space of the theater) and psychologically (reading
space as consumerist fantasy) in Roxy s picture palaces such as the Family Theater and the Regent
Theater and how these theaters fit into the market of mass consumerism in creating desire as well as a
release from modern societal pressures. Additionally, I would like to explore how Roxy and his team
carefully created an

The Missing Found By Margaret Peterson Short Story
A mysterious airplane arrives at gate 2B of the airport. It was not supposed to be there. It did not show
up on the radar, It was not a scheduled flight, and all airplanes were accounted for. It just appeared.
There was no one on board except 36 babies. This is a piece of the book The Missing: Found by
Margaret Peterson. While this story takes place in a unique, interesting, and unrealistic setting, it still
has a universal theme to it. The author shows that the characters can make strong friendships through
character and plot development. The plot of this book is about the journey of discovering their own
identities, and the journey starts because of the main characters friendships. Jonah, the main character,
has been loved and cared for by his family his entire life and has never thought seriously about the fact
that he is adopted until he gets two mysterious letters in the mail, both with no return address. Jonah
thinks that these are just a prank letter, but his friend Chip gets panicked when he gets the same letters.
Jonah finds out that Chip s parents had never told him that he was adopted as well. Jonah thinks He d
never met Chip s dad, just seen him drive by. Jonah probably couldn t have picked Chip s dad out in a
line up. However, right now Jonah wanted to stolk over to Chip s house, swing his best punch, and hit
Chip s dad right in the mouth. (Peterson 35) Jonah feels angry towards Chip s parents because they
refuse to tell him anything else about his adoption. Later Jonah says I swear, I ll do everything I can to
help you. (Peterson 35) This quote suggests that Jonah cares deeply about his friend and wants to
support him, and he promises he will do everything he can to help Chip. Jonah, Chip, and Jonah s
younger sister, Katherine begin the journey to find the truth about their past. Their friendship pushes
them into a wild adventure for seeking their identity.
Unlike Chip s parents, Jonah s family always support him, especially Katherine, his younger sister.
Jonah, Chip, and Katherine come to realize that they are missing children of history who were
transported here to the 21st century in the form of an airplane. Even though Katherine is not one of the
missing, Katherine continued to

A General Overview of Vibration Analysis
1.1 Background into vibration
This is the method which is used to set up the differential equation of the motion of a string known as
a wave equation this was first developed by D Alembert in 1750. In contrast to this, the vibration of
the thin beams that are supported and clamped in was studied by Euler in 1744 and Daniel Bernoulli
in 1751 their theory is known as the Euler Bernoulli or thin beam theory. Just like in 1882 where Hertz
also introduce the first successful theory of impact (Rao, S. S. 2004).
The vibration analysis is not new; it s the way at which the measurements are being taken, not to
mention the way in which it is also applied to the equipment condition analysis and diagnosis which
have evolved immensely over the years.
1.2 Basic concepts of vibration
A vibration occurs in most systems from aircraft parts to car parts, as well as in the human body and
so more. This is to be able to come up with some ways that measures the vibration and helps to reduce
it in any rotating shaft or parts, which would in turn increase the life of equipment and also reduce the
maintenance cost. In addition to this, various engineers and engineering companies have studied
vibration so it helps to broaden their understanding of it more. As well as this, in the
Human body there are low frequency oscillation in the heart and lungs, let alone high frequency
oscillation of the ear and oscillation of larynx as one speaks. Furthermore, in any unbalance machine a
vibration can

Comparison and Contrast
In the name Allah

❖ Definition: To compare is to show how items are alike. To contrast is to show how items are
different. Thus comparison and contrast involve pointing out the similarities or differences between
two (or more) items.
In deciding what to compare or contrast, you will want to make sure that the items share points in
common. Thus, the items compared are usually the same kind or class of thing, and in comparing and
contrasting them, you essentially establish two or more categories, showing the differences or
similarities between or among them. For example, you can compare two passenger cars a Ford and a
Cadillac ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
But your readers will probably want to know what the similarity or difference amounts to. You can
write this for a thesis. However, once you ve noted the difference, the readers will see that you ve
merely stated the obvious. Thus comparison and contrast for its own sake is generally pointless, but
both are extremely useful to develop support for a thesis. To support the thesis statement we should
outline central paragraphs.
❖ Central paragraph organization:
When you have decided whether to concentrate on comparison or contrast, you still must decide how
to do it. You should organize your comparison or contrast by whichever method suits your material
best. There are three different methods of organization of central paragraph: 1) Point by point or
alternating method 2) Block method 3) Mixed method
1) Point by point or alternating method: In this method you explain one characteristic of item A and
then immediately compare it with that of item B and then you go on to compare the two items point by
point. For example when you want to contrast two brands of automobile e. g. Nissan and Toyota to
decide which to buy, you will consider such subtopics (elements) as price, mile per gallon, length and
width, comfort, and maintenance expense. Thus the organizational type will be:

Should Kids Get A Trophy Essay
Should all kids get a trophy even if they don t win anything? This is the question I will be answering
today giving both sides. The first thing I have to say is that it just costs too much money to give
everyone a trophy. Second kids want to earn trophies not give them handed to them is just makes them
mean less to other people. Third I think the people need some let down in their life so they can
improve themselves instead of just moving along. So really do kids need to get trophies after
everything they do? First the cost I can t stress enough how much of a waste of money it is to give
away participation trophies. The kid will get it and in about 2 years it will be in the garbage because it
has no value to them. When say if they got a 1st ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Little kids are the only kind of people who would want a trophy even if they lose so for kids it would
be okay. But for older kids it s just going to be a letdown more than it is going to be a reminder of how
good he/she did. Kids want achievements and if they don t get that then they will always become soft
and think everything is given to them. Lastly people need to improve themselves not just think it s all
they can do they need to keep trying to achieve the trophy they want. Kids need to realize what they
can do so they need to actually try if we just give them things they won t learn. If you did really bad
and you felt bad would you want a participation trophy so you could remember that day you didn t do
well. So there are always two sides of the story so I m going to show you the other side. Why all kids
should get a trophy for participating. First it could make the kid confidant make himher think that
achieved something and at a little age that makes sense. Second kids might want something to show
what they did or just want a trophy. But I don t agree kids don t need a participation trophy for just
showing up that s not how life works. There just going to grow up and throw it away so it s a waste of

Analysis Of The Wild West
Western Identity The Wild West, in American history, is often thought of as being an ideology filled
with adventure and happy endings. This picture of the Wild West is largely in place due to the
romanticizing of the West by Hollywood. Movies portraying the West are filled with stereotypes,
whether they are purposeful or not, that do not accurately show what defines the Western persona.
Stereotypical situations such as Indians being depicted as savages and noble sheriffs saving the day
leave out certain facts that defined the Wild West. Many Indians were betrayed and slaughtered by
American citizens in the Wild West, as shown throughout Dee Brown s novel, Bury My Heart at
Wounded Knee. Red River, a popular movie with John Wayne about ... Show more content on

To many miners, days seemed like years and months like decades. In addition to hardship in mining,
many Americans on the frontier experienced challenges in farming. At first it was difficult for
Americans to grow crops in the West, but eventually technology of agriculture was able to give
Americans the ability to grow crops more efficiently. Wild West was full of trials, and living in it was
certainly not an easy task. It is impossible to write about hardship in the Wild West without talking
about the hardship that Native Americans faced. The war on Indians by the United States government
focused on relocating all Native Americans to reservations so that Americans could settle in more
lands. For this reason, many Native Americans undoubtedly fought back against the United States
government. This led to violence and the slaughtering of Indians for which the Wild West is known.
One famous event concerning the Indian Wars was the Wounded Knee Massacre. Dee Brown
described this event in her novel, Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, saying that the United States 7th
Cavalry Regiment opened up on them, firing almost a shell a second, raking the Indian camp,
shredding the teepees with flying shrapnel, killing men, women, and children. According to Brown,
[o]ne estimate placed the final total of dead at very nearly three hundred of the original 350 men,
women, and children.

The Contributions Of Integral To The Social Exchange Theory
Question 1:
What is Social Exchange Theory?
Social exchange theory is a model for interpreting society as a series of interactions between people
that are based on estimates of rewards and punishments. According to this view, our interactions are
determined by the rewards or punishments that we expect to receive from others, which we evaluate
using a cost benefit analysis model.
Integral to the social exchange theory is the possibility that a connection that inspires endorsement
from someone else will probably be rehashed than a collaboration that evokes dissatisfaction.
Commercial
We would thus be able to foresee whether a specific association will be rehashed by figuring the level
of reward (endorsement) or discipline (objection) coming about because of the collaboration. On the
off chance that the reward for an association surpasses the discipline, at that point the collaboration is
probably going to happen or proceed.
As indicated by this hypothesis, the recipe for foreseeing the conduct for any person in any
circumstance is: Conduct (benefits) = Prizes of connection expenses of collaboration.
Prizes can come in many structures: social acknowledgment, cash, endowments, and even
unpretentious ordinary signals like a grin, gesture, or congratulatory gesture. Disciplines likewise
come in many structures, from extremes like open embarrassment, beating, or execution, to
unobtrusive signals like a cocked eyebrow or a grimace.
While social exchange theory is found in

The Neural Epidural Junction Is Where The Psychological,...
The neural epidural junction is where the psychological, physiological and somatic systems intersect.
These systems all give access to my personal identity. In addition, the three systems redirect thoughts
and feelings on how I associate with systems and through the colors, the subconscious and a
compassionate self is revealed by the following. I created a grouping of three large and small
figureheads, and an umbrella like sky (the visor). These figureheads enable viewers to sieve their
thoughts and feelings as I do. Specifically, sharing the mental anxiety through shock encounters
(concrete figurehead); memories of the Holocaust and traumatic circumstances. Also, the
physiological response captured in an array of colors (glass figurehead) which, convey emotional
responses. In addition, even though, I am a down to earth person, the third figurehead communicates
that I also crumble like the soil (clay figurehead). The smaller figures mounted on the visor above the
clay figurehead intends to give a whimsical, floating feeling to emphasize the warmth related to the
feelings of compassion I hold. It is also through the colors in all the figureheads, the visor and the
illumination with LED lights, and crackling effect that I project whom I am. Further, by having a visor
emulate a stained glass, I created an illusion that viewers can embrace seeing society as tainted, as I
do. The three figureheads work like fitting a puzzle together and addressing caring. The concrete head

Essay on Comparing the Two Versions of To Build a Fire
Comparing the Two Versions of To Build a Fire
I am absolutely confident that beyond the motif itself, there is no similarity of treatment whatever
(544). Jack London, writing in December 1908, was responding to an inquiry from the Richard W.
Gilder, editor of Century Magazine. Gilder, having just published To Build a Fire in his magazine, was
worried when he came across another version published 6 years earlier. London s explanation was that
the first story was for boys and the new one was for men; the only similarity being the motif itself.
Through careful analysis of the two stories, in light of this letter to Gilder, and another letter to
Cloudesly Johns, it is apparent that although London claims no similarities ... Show more content on

This ending more clearly illustrates the dangers of the Klondike. The first version is more a morality
tale, ending with the moral of Never travel alone! (62). The second version is more of a good short
story, with the ending that is, regrettably, all too common in that part of the world. The main character
never gets a chance to change his ways and travel with a companion the proverbial next time. He
learns the lesson with the most severest of consequences: death. Another interesting difference is the
fact that in the 1902 version the main character is Tom Vincent; however in the second version, the
man has no name. This gives the main character in the 1908 version a feeling of universality.
In 1900, before either of these two stories was published, Jack London wrote a letter to a good friend,
Cloudesly Johns, explaining his philosophy on good fiction writing. This letter is an invaluable
resource when studying the work of Jack London, especially when comparing the two versions of To
Build a Fire. London emphasized quite a bit in this letter with many exclamation points and capital
letters. That was only because of the passion with which he was writing about writing. His main point
was to not be to scientific, or empirically (530) scientific. He explains not to tell the reader what your
philosophy is, but rather to have the characters tell it by their deeds, actions, talk, etc. (531). He then
moves on to talk about atmosphere, and

Upon hearing the news of her husband s death, Mrs. Mallard wept at once, with sudden, wild

from the shock in the beginning to a new outlook; she never had the life she wanted. She sits calmly
down: There stood, facing an open window, a comfortable, roomy armchair. (Chopin 65) Mrs. Mallard
in turn shows us that the word comfort is used to imply a different reaction than we would expect
normally from losing a loved one. Discovering when she looks out the window she views life in a
different way. Mrs. Mallard starts studying the nature outside the window: The delicious breath of rain

Atrial Fibrillation
The heart is a complex yet delicate organ that operates the body on a regular basis. Without the heart
the circulation system within the body would cease to exist; therefore, we would cease to exist. As
with everything that is complex and works around the clock there are certain issues that can arise for
example, atrial fibrillation. Atrial fibrillation is the result of an irregular or fast heartbeat this will often
cause an inadequate circulation throughout the rest of the body. The atrium of the heart will not sync
up to the ventricles causing an irregular or fast heartbeat.
The episodes of atrial fibrillation can come and go or remain permanently and cannot usually be

heat the catheter tip and perform a more precise ablation than what was possible with direct current
ablation. (UCSF.(2012). When cardiac ablation is performed the surgeon is targeting the diseased
conductive tissue once this is done, this will assist in correcting atrial fibrillation within the heart.
These surgeries can be either minimally invasive or require an open surgical approach. Cardiac
ablation is achieved through a cardiac catheter this delivers radiofrequency energy or cryoenergy to
the defective area this is considered to be a minimally invasive approach. The electrophysiologist will
insert a catheter into the femoral vein/artery and threads it to the right or left atrium and ventricle.
They will then test different areas of the heart to try and reproduce dysrhythmia upon doing this they
will then ablate the area of the heart where the disturbance takes place. Another alternative would be
an open surgery known as a sternotomy approach this is where a midline incision is made in the
sternum of the chest. Cannulation of the superior and inferior vena cava will then take place for a
cardiopulmonary bypass. The surgeon will occlude the ascending aorta and infuse cardioplegic
solution into the coronary arteries. Once this is done a right and left atriotomy is performed and the
targets are ablated. The atriotomies are closed, the aorta is unclamped, cardiopulmonary bypass is
stopped, cannulas are removed, chest tubes will be inserted at this time and the surgical wound is
closed. Upon completion of the surgery the patient is taken to the PACU and monitored for heart

Paul Bogard s Let There Be Dark
In his article Let There Be Dark , Paul Bogard builds a persuasive argument through a series of
effective examples that natural darkness needs to be preserved. To prove his main argument, Bogard
implements facts and statistics about the negative effects of light pollution such as the carcinogenic
effects of a lack of darkness, the dependency of flora and fauna on natural darkness, and the
inspiration sparked through the stillness provided by darkness. Even though humans are the only
living things contributing to artificial light at night, the decreasing amount of natural darkness is
negatively affecting people s health. For most people, this problem does not seem evident, since we
still spend about eight hours every day sleeping in darkness. Bogard makes this issue seem more
tangible by classifying the job of working the night shift as a carcinogen, stating that our bodies need
darkness to produce the hormone melatonin, which keeps certain cancers from developing, and our
bodies need darkness for sleep. Even with numerous vaccines and innovative treatments, cancer
remains to be everyone s worst nightmare. This example is effective because it uses pathos to ... Show

of the many benefits of natural darkness. While a negative quality, people tend to change their ways

Subjectivism Definition Essay
Infallibility Simple subjectivism has a problem that brings about infallibility. They make moral
statements infallible, in only talking about our own attitudes. However, we are not infallible about our
moral claims in life, but we do make mistakes in our lives as well. Subjectivism claims to say that the
truth of the moral judgements is reliant on the subjective state of mind of a particular person brings
about that any given person is infallible in their moral judgment. It just seems that, as long as a

Meet The Sixth Sense Interaction Summary
Meet the sixth sense interaction
Presented by researcher Pattie Maes of MIT
SUMMARY
Researcher Pattie Maes definitely presented information with exigence: she had possibly opened a
new area of deep research as President Kennedy did with NASA. Maes had introduced the possibility
of utilizing technology to artificially develop a sixth sense, a technology that would serve as a
personal assistant to humans, likewise the smartphone. Maes had introduced her product as the
sixthsense camera. Clients would simply wear the, as she suggested, unstylish camera, around the
neck and interact with its projection. This sixthsense camera is similar to the technology fictional
character Rory Starks uses in his laboratory in the movie Ironman. Clients would make gestures with

Will gaining a sixthsense further develop the gyri and sulci of the human brain? The answer to this is
likely both yes and no. Gaining a sixthsense will undoubtfully permit students an efficient and easy
access to information although may inhibit development of patience and hard work. Students may lose
social skills, continuing a millennial like trend, as the need to socialize and determine the identity of
others will no longer be necessary via a mouth and questioning, but rather via a holographic
projection. I am quite frankly fascinated by the idea of developing a sixthsense although do believe
this should be left alone and not diffuse globally. I am a firm believer of humanity and philosophy,
however, the sixthsense technology will not encourage nor force students to think either critically nor
liberally as all information will be readily available. I believe humans should learn become polyglots

This showed that he wanted to do things himself while the character in The Interlopers decided to ask

The Primary Causes Of Electronic Waste
Electronic Waste
How often do individuals change your electronic equipment? Does anyone know where used
electronic merchandise go to? Electronic waste is called an E waste that has been becoming a serious
issue all over the world. People should be concerned in this century because E waste contains
hazardous, toxic ingredients which have adverse effects on society Toxic chemicals in electronics
products can leach into the land over time or are released into the atmosphere, impacting nearby
communities and the environment ( Where ). Young people are not aware of the caveat that used
electronic products to bring. E waste causes not only the environmental problems such as air and
water pollution but also health problems. An amount of E waste has been increasing rapidly.
Moreover, it has even been turning the land into substantial electronic landfill mountains. Three
primary reasons for electronic waste: waste is the accelerated development of science and technology,
increasing world population and over consumption.
The first primary cause of the E waste is the accelerated development of science and technology.
Acceleration can be measured in the returns of the technology such as speed, efficiency, price
performance, and overall power which improve exponentially too ( Technology ). The last 20 years
have notably changed in many aspects because of the technological innovation, and modern society is

  • 2. Application Of A Penetration Testing Against `` My House... Chapter 3: Practical test My House lab Scenario. For this coursework I have decided to perform a penetration testing against My House lab , to evaluate and improve my WLAN Infrastructure security. The scenario that I had examined is a WLAN Infrastructure Network using a Virgin Media Super Hub (Netgear) , with more than 10 devices connected . Looking on the internet about the router model I own I could make an interesting discovery. I found an article written by an expert in computer security, Paul Moore, dating back to March 2014(Paul Moore,2014). This guy, a year ago, had found a flaw inside the super hub of VirginMedia. Indeed reboot the router took 1 minute to start well, and in this minute for seven seconds was able to access the WiFi network without the need for key. Fortunately Paul contacted the Virgin who in turn contacted the Netgear to try to resolve the issue with the release of a new firmware. Now the problem is resolved, however is an interesting issue happened, because sometimes, our security depends not only on us and what we can do to protect it and keep it. Sometimes there may be larger obstacles, as in this case an error of firmware that we can circumvent but not eliminate (until the company responsible is not able to patch it). Methodologies I adopted different steps to performing penetration testing that is effective in testing how well the My House lab is secure. I have used different softwares such as NMap , Wareshark, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Anatomy Of Hurricanes Ahrens (2012) defines a hurricane as a tropical cyclone having winds in excess of 64 knots (74 mph) (p. 501). An average person might not know the actual speed to classify it as a hurricane, but you most certainly know when you are going to get hit with one. Hurricanes continue to be one of the deadliest storms in the world with an interesting anatomy, different categories, and costly damage to the area that is hit. The anatomy of a hurricane is one that most people might just think of a tornado in the ocean . It is a complex formation that has different layers contributing in many ways. The center of the hurricane or the eye is an unusual because it is not the strongest part of the storm. You will find a relatively low wind area that ... It was a Category 1 hurricane just before landfall in Florida. During its route to Louisiana it passed over a large area of warm water called the Loop Current , and that allowed Katrina to strengthen in such little time (Ahrens, 2012, p. 354). It switched between a category 5 and 3 due to the replacement of the eye wall. Louisiana was it the hardest, because levees were broken through allowing the water level to rise above them. Much of the city was left under water forcing people to live in shelters and the Superdome (where the Saints play). Coast guard was needed as well as any help they could get. • 4. Competition Within The U.s. Pharmaceutical Industry Competition within the U.S. pharmaceutical industry is very high. With less elastic demand than for other industries, profit potential is enormous. Demand is more inelastic as prescription drugs are necessary for many individuals with illnesses such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Within the industry, there are two types of manufacturers: brand name and generic. These groups compete not only among one another, but with each other as well. Brand name pharmaceutical companies often try to, and succeed in preventing or delaying approval and circulation of generic equivalents. The most common tactic used is a reverse payment settlement agreement, otherwise known as pay for delay . Generic firms promise to delay the circulation of their ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... On the other hand, generic companies primary activities include developing, producing, marketing, distributing, and gaining regulatory approval for generic drugs (Philips, 2014). While generic companies do engage in research and development (R D), it s goal is to create similar drugs that the brand name manufacturer just patented. If successful, the generic company files an Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for approval and must make a certification against each patent by the brand name manufacturer. To do this, the generic company must make a Paragraph IV certification which states that the patent is invalid or will not be infringed by the generic product (Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper Scinto, 2012). In a reverse payment settlement agreement, brand name pharmaceutical manufacturers provide compensation to generic pharmaceutical manufacturers in order to settle the challenge to their patent. In order to receive the compensation, the generic company must agree to drop its patent challenge and is restricted from marketing and distributing its product for some stated period of time. These settlements act as patent extensions, providing the brand name firm with more monopoly time on a drug. Reverse payment settlement agreements appeared as an unexpected result of the Hatch Waxman Act of 1984, which ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Section 1 Identification and Evaluation of Sources (499) The research question that is being addressed is How did the development of railroads between 1865 to 1929 impact the Mexican economy? . The first source s origin is a book that is titled The Civilizing Machine: A Cultural History of Mexican Railroads, 1876 1910 written by Michael Matthews. This source helped a lot in the process of gaining information because the information was written in a way that could be understood clearly. The purpose of this source is to inform the general public about what had happened during the age of railroads in Mexico. The value of this source is that there are a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The purpose of this website was to inform the reader about the era of when Porfirio Díaz was in office and how he had affected the country as a whole. The value of this source was that there was a lot of information on this era so there would be a lot to use. A limitation is that there is no known author so there it not much to do if there were a question about information about the details in the article. The source comes from a government run website which makes this a credible site. The third, and last, source is an essay called Impact of Railroads in Mexico and India written by Nick Cannon as a part of his series, Edges of Empire . The purpose of this essay was to compare and contrast what was happening economically in both Mexico and India. It showed their similarities and differences in a way where each country had their own little section as to what specifically happened in that country. The value of this article is the fact that although it is comparing Mexico to India, there is a lot of information that shows just how advanced the railroads made Mexico in comparison to another country, in this case India. There were definitely a big limitation. Since there was comparing and contrasting in the whole essay, it was difficult to understand what the author was trying to say. It seemed as though the essay was a bit rushed due to the fact that the author was trying to give information about both countries. Section 2 Investigation ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The media brought the disparities and refusals of essential social equality in the South to the consideration of the whole country. • 8. Dark Comedy As A Satire Johana Garcia Cinema 3 Dark comedy is a subgenre of comedy and satire that has a way of making over sensitive topics into pure hilarity. The term black comedy was created by French surrealist Andre Breton in his book Anthology of Black Humor claiming that black humor is sympathizing with The abuser while poking fun at the victim. Although Andre is not wrong black comedy is a difficult genre to incorporate because it is willing to push the limit on what subjects the public can find funny. As for the next aspect, black comedies are shrouded in the idea that we live in an absurd world because, otherwise, the film would simply be sick or serious and certainly not comical. In the 1960s, themes which had previously been dealt with only in the most serious fashion were suddenly subject to burlesque, or parody, thus creating black comedy. This is because Dr. Strangelove (1964)(Strangelove s comedy heavily release one the actors saying very ridiculous things in very ... Furthermore, concerning some unforeseen or unexpected mistakes those need attention. Followings are some of the required precautions to avoid some common ethics: psychological, financial and social harm. Professional researchers always plan the research questions or the questionnaire to prevent any harassment (Waller, 2011). This is important because, according to TheDarkKnot.com, A monochromatic color scheme involves choosing variants of the same color. This is exactly what is happening with the shirt and tie combination. By using the color wheel along with the naked eye, we can easily see that both methods show that the color combination of the tie and shirt match together. The next aspect of determining if the tie matches is comparing the pattern of the shirt and tie. The shirt is plaid, more specifically, a vertically running Tartan Plaid. In comparison, the tie has a diamond pattern all the way from top to bottom. The biggest piece to look at is the plaid pattern of the shirt. The pattern of the tie should be obviously bigger than the pattern of the shirt. This is so the tie looks larger and can stand out so in rather than getting lost in the pattern of the shirt. Rise Of American Theaters And Consumerist Desires Rise of American Theaters And Consumerist Desires In the early twentieth century movies signified modernity by becoming the most prevalent medium of culture in the United States in a period of time where the social makeup was shifting from a predominantly middle class to working class neighborhoods that were made up of many different communities. As a direct consequence, nickelodeons, temporary storefront theaters, and vaudeville programs all flourished in the working class districts. By the late 1920s, almost every large American city showed off a new picture palace, an elaborately constructed movie theater. Moreover, with this transition from previous vaudeville houses and nickelodeons to the rise of these so called picture palaces in the United States, new spaces of consumerism were forged that focused on enlightening the average spectator as movie moguls such as the notable Samuel Roxy Rotahfel who envisioned a specific function for all major theaters. Consequently, I would argue that these new spaces of consumerism transformed and transfixed its audiences architecturally (looking at the physical space of the theater) and psychologically (reading space as consumerist fantasy) in Roxy s picture palaces such as the Family Theater and the Regent Theater and how these theaters fit into the market of mass consumerism in creating desire as well as a release from modern societal pressures. • 21. A General Overview of Vibration Analysis 1.1 Background into vibration This is the method which is used to set up the differential equation of the motion of a string known as a wave equation this was first developed by D Alembert in 1750. In contrast to this, the vibration of the thin beams that are supported and clamped in was studied by Euler in 1744 and Daniel Bernoulli in 1751 their theory is known as the Euler Bernoulli or thin beam theory. Just like in 1882 where Hertz also introduce the first successful theory of impact (Rao, S. S. 2004). The vibration analysis is not new; it s the way at which the measurements are being taken, not to mention the way in which it is also applied to the equipment condition analysis and diagnosis which have evolved immensely over the years. 1.2 Basic concepts of vibration A vibration occurs in most systems from aircraft parts to car parts, as well as in the human body and so more. This is to be able to come up with some ways that measures the vibration and helps to reduce it in any rotating shaft or parts, which would in turn increase the life of equipment and also reduce the maintenance cost. However, once you ve noted the difference, the readers will see that you ve merely stated the obvious. To support the thesis statement we should outline central paragraphs. ❖ Central paragraph organization: When you have decided whether to concentrate on comparison or contrast, you still must decide how to do it. You should organize your comparison or contrast by whichever method suits your material best. There are three different methods of organization of central paragraph: 1) Point by point or alternating method 2) Block method 3) Mixed method 1) Point by point or alternating method: In this method you explain one characteristic of item A and then immediately compare it with that of item B and then you go on to compare the two items point by point. • 26. The Contributions Of Integral To The Social Exchange Theory Question 1: What is Social Exchange Theory? Social exchange theory is a model for interpreting society as a series of interactions between people that are based on estimates of rewards and punishments. According to this view, our interactions are determined by the rewards or punishments that we expect to receive from others, which we evaluate using a cost benefit analysis model. Integral to the social exchange theory is the possibility that a connection that inspires endorsement from someone else will probably be rehashed than a collaboration that evokes dissatisfaction. Commercial We would thus be able to foresee whether a specific association will be rehashed by figuring the level of reward (endorsement) or discipline (objection) coming about because of the collaboration. On the off chance that the reward for an association surpasses the discipline, at that point the collaboration is probably going to happen or proceed. As indicated by this hypothesis, the recipe for foreseeing the conduct for any person in any circumstance is: Conduct (benefits) = Prizes of connection expenses of collaboration. Prizes can come in many structures: social acknowledgment, cash, endowments, and even unpretentious ordinary signals like a grin, gesture, or congratulatory gesture. Disciplines likewise come in many structures, from extremes like open embarrassment, beating, or execution, to unobtrusive signals like a cocked eyebrow or a grimace. While social exchange theory is found in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 27. The Neural Epidural Junction Is Where The Psychological,... The neural epidural junction is where the psychological, physiological and somatic systems intersect. These systems all give access to my personal identity. In addition, the three systems redirect thoughts and feelings on how I associate with systems and through the colors, the subconscious and a compassionate self is revealed by the following. I created a grouping of three large and small figureheads, and an umbrella like sky (the visor). These figureheads enable viewers to sieve their thoughts and feelings as I do. Specifically, sharing the mental anxiety through shock encounters (concrete figurehead); memories of the Holocaust and traumatic circumstances. Also, the physiological response captured in an array of colors (glass figurehead) which, convey emotional responses. In addition, even though, I am a down to earth person, the third figurehead communicates that I also crumble like the soil (clay figurehead). The smaller figures mounted on the visor above the clay figurehead intends to give a whimsical, floating feeling to emphasize the warmth related to the feelings of compassion I hold. It is also through the colors in all the figureheads, the visor and the illumination with LED lights, and crackling effect that I project whom I am. Further, by having a visor emulate a stained glass, I created an illusion that viewers can embrace seeing society as tainted, as I do. The three figureheads work like fitting a puzzle together and addressing caring. The concrete head is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 28. Essay on Comparing the Two Versions of To Build a Fire Comparing the Two Versions of To Build a Fire I am absolutely confident that beyond the motif itself, there is no similarity of treatment whatever (544). Jack London, writing in December 1908, was responding to an inquiry from the Richard W. Gilder, editor of Century Magazine. Gilder, having just published To Build a Fire in his magazine, was worried when he came across another version published 6 years earlier. London s explanation was that the first story was for boys and the new one was for men; the only similarity being the motif itself. Through careful analysis of the two stories, in light of this letter to Gilder, and another letter to Cloudesly Johns, it is apparent that although London claims no similarities ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This ending more clearly illustrates the dangers of the Klondike. The first version is more a morality tale, ending with the moral of Never travel alone! (62). The second version is more of a good short story, with the ending that is, regrettably, all too common in that part of the world. The main character never gets a chance to change his ways and travel with a companion the proverbial next time. He learns the lesson with the most severest of consequences: death. Another interesting difference is the fact that in the 1902 version the main character is Tom Vincent; however in the second version, the man has no name. This gives the main character in the 1908 version a feeling of universality. In 1900, before either of these two stories was published, Jack London wrote a letter to a good friend, Cloudesly Johns, explaining his philosophy on good fiction writing. This letter is an invaluable resource when studying the work of Jack London, especially when comparing the two versions of To Build a Fire. London emphasized quite a bit in this letter with many exclamation points and capital letters. That was only because of the passion with which he was writing about writing. His main point was to not be to scientific, or empirically (530) scientific. He explains not to tell the reader what your philosophy is, but rather to have the characters tell it by their deeds, actions, talk, etc. (531). He then moves on to talk about atmosphere, and ... She sits calmly down: There stood, facing an open window, a comfortable, roomy armchair. (Chopin 65) Mrs. Mallard in turn shows us that the word comfort is used to imply a different reaction than we would expect normally from losing a loved one. Discovering when she looks out the window she views life in a different way. Mrs. Mallard starts studying the nature outside the window: The delicious breath of rain was in the air. In the street below a peddler was crying his wares. The notes of a distant song which some was singing reached her faintly, and countless sparrows were twittering in the eaves. Without the heart the circulation system within the body would cease to exist; therefore, we would cease to exist. As with everything that is complex and works around the clock there are certain issues that can arise for example, atrial fibrillation. Atrial fibrillation is the result of an irregular or fast heartbeat this will often cause an inadequate circulation throughout the rest of the body. The atrium of the heart will not sync up to the ventricles causing an irregular or fast heartbeat. (UCSF.(2012). When cardiac ablation is performed the surgeon is targeting the diseased conductive tissue once this is done, this will assist in correcting atrial fibrillation within the heart. These surgeries can be either minimally invasive or require an open surgical approach. Cardiac ablation is achieved through a cardiac catheter this delivers radiofrequency energy or cryoenergy to the defective area this is considered to be a minimally invasive approach. The electrophysiologist will insert a catheter into the femoral vein/artery and threads it to the right or left atrium and ventricle. They will then test different areas of the heart to try and reproduce dysrhythmia upon doing this they will then ablate the area of the heart where the disturbance takes place. Another alternative would be an open surgery known as a sternotomy approach this is where a midline incision is made in the sternum of the chest. Cannulation of the superior and inferior vena cava will then take place for a cardiopulmonary bypass. The surgeon will occlude the ascending aorta and infuse cardioplegic solution into the coronary arteries. Once this is done a right and left atriotomy is performed and the targets are ablated. The atriotomies are closed, the aorta is unclamped, cardiopulmonary bypass is stopped, cannulas are removed, chest tubes will be inserted at this time and the surgical wound is closed. Upon completion of the surgery the patient is taken to the PACU and monitored for heart rhythm issues as well as, bleeding, infection, or any other complications from the procedure. ( Fuller, J. • 32. Paul Bogard s Let There Be Dark In his article Let There Be Dark , Paul Bogard builds a persuasive argument through a series of effective examples that natural darkness needs to be preserved. To prove his main argument, Bogard implements facts and statistics about the negative effects of light pollution such as the carcinogenic effects of a lack of darkness, the dependency of flora and fauna on natural darkness, and the inspiration sparked through the stillness provided by darkness. Even though humans are the only living things contributing to artificial light at night, the decreasing amount of natural darkness is negatively affecting people s health. For most people, this problem does not seem evident, since we still spend about eight hours every day sleeping in darkness. Bogard makes this issue seem more tangible by classifying the job of working the night shift as a carcinogen, stating that our bodies need darkness to produce the hormone melatonin, which keeps certain cancers from developing, and our bodies need darkness for sleep. Even with numerous vaccines and innovative treatments, cancer remains to be everyone s worst nightmare. This example is effective because it uses pathos to ... Maes had introduced her product as the sixthsense camera. Clients would simply wear the, as she suggested, unstylish camera, around the neck and interact with its projection. Students may lose social skills, continuing a millennial like trend, as the need to socialize and determine the identity of others will no longer be necessary via a mouth and questioning, but rather via a holographic projection. I am quite frankly fascinated by the idea of developing a sixthsense although do believe this should be left alone and not diffuse globally. I am a firm believer of humanity and philosophy, however, the sixthsense technology will not encourage nor force students to think either critically nor liberally as all information will be readily available.
