Education is the fountain head for the advancement of any society. An individual is empowered with creative thinking, knowledge, reasoning and compassion for fellow being through education, closing avenues of education from ones reach is nothing but blinding the person. He found that such an unkind act was performed over a section of the society called Dalits and shudras and thereby subjugated them to permanent disadvantage in all aspects of life and personality growth. He stressed the role of education in overcoming caste oppression. He identified the denial of education of shudras, women and untouchables as an important element in perpetuating caste system. He considered the development of education among the oppressed sections as an important weapon to escape from caste inequalities and to generate consciousness among the oppressed sections to fight back the oppression. He himself said, “Education is something which ought to be brought within the reach of every one. The object of primary education is to see that every child that enters the portals of a primary school does leave it only at a stage when it becomes literate continuous to be literate throughout the rest of his life.” An Ambedkar idea for the untouchables was ‘to raise their educational standards so that they may know their own conditions, have aspirations raise to the level of highest Hindu and be in position to use political power as a means to that end’. This is best reflected in Ambedkar’s famous slogan‘ Educate, Agitate and Organize
Rabindranath Tagore was influenced by his personal lifestyle. He was impressed by the ancient Indian system and there is a clear reflection of that system in his literature. Self education builds up self realization. It is assimilated in education. So a student must have self confidence. Purpose of education is to introduce one with the whole universe. So the syllabus of education is the main bearer of that culture. He was not just a mere poet or writer he was the harbinger of an era of literature which elevated him to the stature of the cultural ambassador of India. Even today, decades after his death, this saintlike man, lives through his works in the hearts of the people of Bengal who are forever indebted to him for enriching their heritage. He was the most admired Indian writer who introduced India’s rich cultural heritage to the West and was the first non European to be bestowed the prestigious Nobel Prize. Rabindranath Tagore’s educational model has a unique sensitivity and aptness for education within multi racial, multi lingual and multi cultural situations, amidst conditions of acknowledged economic discrepancy and political imbalance. ROLE OF LANGUAGE IN CHILDREN’S INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENT AND LEARNING YasinKhan62
Introduction
Language is the ability to communicate with others. There are significant
differences between the understanding of language and speech. Language includes
all forms of communication, whether expressed orally, written, used signs, gestures,
or facial expressions. While the speech is a spoken language that is the most
effective form of communication and considered most important and widely used.
Language development increases through the growth of the children.
Parents should always pay attention to these developments, since it will determine
the learning process. This can be done by giving a good example to motivate
children to learn and so forth. Parents are greatly responsible for the success of
children’ learning and should always strive to improve children's potential in order
to develop optimally.
Language is any form of communication in which a person's thoughts and
feelings symbolized in order to convey meaning to others. Furthermore, language
development starts from the first cry until a child is able to speak a word.

Evolution of Reservation System in India An Overviewijtsrd
The reservation system is an affirmative action that addresses historical and social inequalities marginalized communities face. The reservation policy in India was introduced after independence to promote social justice and upliftment of historically disadvantaged groups such as the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes. The Indian Constitution provides for reservation in education, employment, and political representation. The reservation policy has been a subject of debate and controversy in India. While some argue that correcting historical injustices is necessary, others believe it is discriminatory and hinders merit based selection. This research paper provides an overview of the reservation policy in India, examining the constitutional provisions that underpin this contentious issue. Through a comprehensive analysis of the historical and legal context, the study aims to shed light on the origins, implementation, and impact of reservation policy in India. By highlighting the challenges and opportunities this policy presents, the study seeks to contribute to the ongoing debate on affirmative action and social justice in India. Ultimately, this research paper offers a nuanced and insightful perspective on one of Indias most complex and enduring issues. Md. Reservation - a boon or bane for us ? The society battles with number of rising demands for the same . Is it time we think something for the greater good ? Can we push ourselves to some large boundaries ?
It has been about seventy years since India has attained independence and about the same time that, we have been a republic nation. Our constitution gives us the right to freedom and most importantly to exercise this freedom in an equitable manner. At the same time it is mandatory on the part of the state to ensure that equality prevails in all sections of the society. However, the argument was, that India was not yet free from the bonds of social evils like caste and religion discrimination, untouchability etc. To counter this the government drafted laws regarding the controversial reservation system in the constitution. These laws were to act like an equalizer in the field of play. Now the question that lies in front of us is whether implementing this reservation system has really helped the downtrodden or has it given the oppressed, or rather the ones who claim to be oppressed an undue advantage?
its all about education system in India but against quota /reservation system.....which is the big problem for general category now a days.........pls do help of sc/st category but their should be no reservation :help them financially................
Caste based reservation earlier granted to SC/ST and later extended to OBC and new demand for inclusion of other communities like JATs in Haryana has literally spit the country and needs to be readdressed. I have just picked up few articles from the net for benefit of all aspirants for competition in India. These are not my views.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.
2. What is a “caste”?
Since the great majority of Indians are Hindu, the caste system has
played an enormous role in the history of India, and it continues to
exert tremendous influence on modern Indian culture and politics.
Social and economic divides
still exist across India
"Caste" is the term used to describe
the complex system of social
divisions that pervades life in India.
Caste is an ancient hereditary system
that developed alongside and
became intertwined with Hinduism.
Caste determines whom a person
can marry, specifies what kind of
work he can do, and even controls
what he can eat or touch.
3. The Reservation System
Sparks flew in spring 2006 when the Indian
government pushed to extend the same
quotas to university admissions. Students
took to the streets of New Delhi to protest
the plan.
(Currently, out of the 36,000 undergraduate
seats at Delhi University, nearly 8,000 are
reserved for lower-caste students. Today an
estimated 36 percent of the population falls
under the Other Backward Classes (OBCs)
category, the group receiving the new
reservations.)

4. 1) ICT, Mumbai – Separate process for admission.
2) C.O.E. Pune & W.C.E. Sangli – Separate CAP Rounds.
3) Other private colleges – CAP Round Based on caste.
Reservation :
70% Seats for Home University candidates.
30% Seats for other than Home University candidates.
Provisions for defense, Physically handicapped & 30% reserved for ladies.

5. Is it Fair?
India’s constitution guarantees “equal rights.”
• Article 14 says that the state gives to every person
“equality before the law” and “equal protection of the laws.”
• Article 15 prohibits discrimination against any citizen on
grounds of religion, race, caste, sex, place of birth, etc.
• Article 16 guarantees equality of opportunity in matters of
public employment, etc.
6. CONTRADICTION
At the same time, the constitution provides for a “reservation
system.”
Article 46 says “The state shall promote with special care
the education and economic interests of the weaker sections
of the people, and, in particular of the scheduled castes and
the scheduled tribes, and shall protect them from social
injustice and all forms of exploitation.”
Respond: Does India’s reservation system contradict (go
against) her constitution’s promise of “equal rights”?
7. • LET YOUR SKILLS BE THE VOICE
OF YOUR RIGHTS.
