Mommy Makeover Essay
A mommy makeover is a plastic surgery trend that helps to reverse the effect pregnancy has on your
body. After one pregnancy, some women naturally return to their pre pregnancy figure, but many
women don t especially after two or three children. Breasts begin to lose volume and sag, the
abdomen that is stretched during pregnancybecomes loose and doesn t tighten even after rigorous
exercise. Some fat deposits are also very difficult to get rid of even with strict dieting and exercise.
The remedy for all of the above is a mommy makeover.
There are five main treatments included in a typical mommy makeover, including an
abdominoplasty or tummy tuck, breast enhancement or augmentation, liposuction to remove fat,
skin tightening and cellulite removal. During your consultation with our specialist, you can ... Show

A tummy tuck tightens the muscles in your abdomen and removes excess skin. There are several
levels of tummy tuck, including a full abdominoplasty, a belt lipectomy, a small incision
abdominoplasty and a reverse abdominoplasty. Our specialist will help you choose the one that will
give you the best results.
Breast augmentation may be a breast lift or breast implants. For some women, a breast lift is all it
takes to restore their breasts to their original position. It involves raising the breast and
repositioning the nipple. For other women, breast implants are the best way to restore volume and
make the breasts look younger and fuller. Implants may be recommended to restore the original
size and firmness or to make the breasts a little larger than they were before pregnancy.
Liposuction can remove fat, but it does not treat loose or stretched skin that may be left behind
after the fat is removed. This is the main reason liposuction is typically used along with a tummy
tuck. The combination of these procedures is the most effective way to make the abdomen and
waist line tight and

How Does Matsuo Basho s Journey Affect Literature
Matsuo Basho s journey has a significant impact on literature due to his well written journals
that reveal his lifestyle and experiences. In his first journal, The Records of a Weather exposed
Skeleton, Basho conveys his spiritual thoughts and religious life that he experiences on a new
journey. Basho s journal contains several poems as he further reveals different people, traditions,
and significant places that made his journey more memorable. In Matsuo Basho s first journal he
reveals the several reasons on why he is travelling. Basho departs from his home into the North
in order to experience the culture aspects and nature of Japan. Throughout, the first journal, we
see Basho s search for enlightenment in his pilgrimage. We see the different locations that Basho
has gone to in order to learn more and to be part of the traditions. As stated by Basho, ...I left my
broken house on the River Sumida in the August of the first year of Jyokyo among the wails of
the autumn wind (Basho 51). This quote explains that Basho leaves his home on a long pilgrimage
in order to discover more about religionand develop a better understanding about Japanese culture
as he is motivated to gain enlightenment. As he travels we readers realize how Basho becomes

As a poet Basho s phenomenal word choice and description allowed us readers to view his
journey as if we are there with him. It is amazing to see that Basho is such a religious person
who has visited various shrines, temples, and met many new and old friends and created new
haiku s. In addition, this reading was interesting to me because it shows Basho s motivation to
become more enlightened and his choice to live according to Buddha s life as expressed through
his poems. Reading this journal was one of the best pieces of literature that I have read because of

Political Risks Of A Country And Micro Analysis
One of the first steps in managing political risks is to analyze the political environment for risks
to the business. According to Luthans, the analysis of risk can be done with two types of
political risk analysis, Macro and Micro Analysis. Macro Analysis is an analysis of political
ideas and decisions that will impact all businesses in a country and Micro Analysis is an analysis
of governmental regulations and policies that affect a specific sector of on economy or market
such as the auto industry (Luthans, 2015). However, there are other risks that can be more
difficult to analyze such as terrorism especially in today s political unrest. Some major
corporations have spent thousands of dollars on macro and micro analyses just to have a world
event disrupt or completely destroy operations. Tata motorsdealt with political battles as well as a
terrorist event. In a USA Today article titled India s Nano goes on sale Sharon Silke reported
that the Launch of was Six weeks late after political battle over the land where the car was to be

would affect its future success. When the Nano was first unveiled the economy was in a good
state where gas prices were rising and the world economy was becoming more stable. This would

Ap Human Geography Week 7 Geography Research Paper
Introduction to Geography
Research paper week 7 I learned more than I anticipated while studying the Introduction to
Geography. There are Four Geographic Traditions; Earth Science Tradition, Culture Environment
Tradition, Location Tradition and Area Analysis Tradition. The Earth Science Tradition covers
physical geography such as landforms, natural resources, weather and climate. I found the text on
natural resources to be very helpful, informative and important for our current economy. The
Culture Environment Tradition discusses population geography, spatial interaction and culture
geography. During one of the class discussions about population I learned that in just 22 hours the
world population increased by more than 233,000 people. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

The weather affects us constantly, whether rain or shine. Tropical storms and hurricanes have
been in the news a lot lately. Since I live on the Gulf of Mexico I have learned that during
hurricane season it is critical to pay attention to the weather and be prepared for a hurricane. I
think about how much more damage would be caused and how many lives could be lost if we
didn t have an understanding of the weather. Even today with resources such as the weather
channel and local news reports we cannot prevent damage to the environment completely. We can
however evacuate people to save lives and build better hurricane resistant buildings in hurricane
prone areas. The National Hurricane Center is a component of the National Centers for
Environmental Prediction. (nhc.noaa.gov) The National Hurricane Center is a great on line tool.
It has information such as; local forecast, cyclone forecast, marine forecast, tools, data and
information about outreach and education. It s so detailed that you can even get a list of items
needed to be prepared for a hurricane. A hurricane begins in a low pressure zone over warm waters,
usually in the Northern Hemisphere. (Introduction to Geography, Getis, page 97) The central core
of the storm that is calm is known as the eye. (Introduction to Geography, Getis, page 97) In the
western Pacific these storms are known as typhoons. (Introduction to Geography, Getis, page 97)

The Reinforcement of Racial Hierarchies in Morrison s The...
Race and racial hierarchies are reinforced through the proliferation of a predominant, societal, white
aesthetic and through the perceptions associated with physical characteristics. In The Bluest Eye,
Toni Morrison first illustrates the reinforcement of racial hierarchies through the proliferation of a
predominant, societal white aesthetic by recounting passages from the Dick and Janebooks, a
standardization of family life. Next, The Black Arts Movementby Larry Nealdemonstrates the
reinforcement of racial hierarchies through the proliferation of a white aesthetic by discussing how
Black culture, including Black art, is in danger if the white aesthetic is accepted by Black artists.

These books, with their simplistic two and three word sentences, were widely used to teach all
children how to read and suggested that the lifestyle of Dick and Jane was typical and standard.
But, the Dick and Jane lifestyle was certainly not the typical lifestyle for Claudia, Pecola or
either of their families. So, that lifestyle was presumed to be the typical white lifestyle.
Furthermore, the lifestyle of Dick and Jane was obviously viewed as superior to a sad, broken,
difficult family life, similar to what Claudia and Pecola were accustomed, so white lifestyles in
general were viewed as superior. Consequently, exposure to this white aesthetic, especially at an
early age, would create, proliferate and reinforce a racial hierarchy.
In The Black Arts Movement, Larry Neal also discusses how a racial hierarchy is reinforced
through the proliferation of a predominant, societal, white aesthetic. Neal says that, there are in fact
and in spirit two Americas one black, one white. (Neal 2039). Further, Neal discusses the danger of
not counteracting the white way of thinking, trumpeting the need for a Black aesthetic. The motive
behind the Black aesthetic is the destruction of the white thing, the destruction of white ideas, and
white ways of looking at the world. (Neal 2040). Neal s adamancy concerning the need for a Black
aesthetic confirms his belief in the existence and power of a predominant, societal, white

London Ambulance Service Of A Computerized System
LONDON AMBULANCE SERVICE COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH SERVICE FAILURE
London Ambulance Service (LAS), as the name suggests is a medical emergency service for
dispatching ambulances and operating in London. In October 1992, the LAS switched from their
prior manual system to a computer aided dispatch (CAD) system. However, a lot of flaws led to
this system s failure. The software engineeringprocess from my perspective and my approach for
handling such a project is illustrated below:
REQUIREMENTS GATHERING AND PLANNING
What happened:
The funding for the development of a computerized system was done in 1974; however the
development remained stagnant for a long period of time until the 13 years later, when the first

Lack of informing the stakeholders the risks of the project, absence of communications with all the
involved stakeholders, misunderstanding of the software process by the software manager and the
software developers also. This affected the requirement gathering, planning, documentation as well
as the implementation.
My approach:
The fundraisers, in this case the LAS management, should be made aware of the pros and cons
of meeting their requirements. The software managers who play an important role can correctly
estimate these factors based on their experience. Hence if I was in charge of choosing the
software managers and the company, I would prefer a company at with experience at the cost of
cheaper software, taking into consideration that delivering a flawless product is more important
than a flawed inexpensive one. The cost of people s lives can t be put to stake in this case. If I
was on the other side of receiving a contract for the development of a system with limited resources
in terms of hardware, time and money, I would try to present the risks of implementation according
to the impossible requirements. If System Options, the company that rejected the deal, presenting
the risks of doing so, just like the other companies, then the stakeholders, who had little idea of the
cost of their requirements, would have reconsidered their funding or the stringent requirements and
the root cause of the disaster would have been avoided. DOCUMENTATION

The B Line over Lorimer Street Many relationships in today s present day have small arguments.
Some are over other people, their past life, honesty, or committing to the relationship one hundred
percent. In the play Love on the B Line , by Adam Kraar, the biggest conflict between the two
characters Robbie and Marie is that Marie does not want to go back to Robbie s place with him.
What is the big reason that she does not want to? Marie is not open with Robbie as to why she is

Rationale:
1. Capillary refill and pulses will give a good indication of the kind of perfusion the patient is

assessment. Prolonged capillary refill or absence of pulses can indicate a serious problem and may
result in tissue ischemia
2. Oxygen saturation has a great deal to do with tissue perfusion. The less oxygen rich blood that is
able to circulate throughout the body, the less perfusion is going on and the greater the risk for
ischemia.
3. Pressure ulcers are a problem for anyone who is not mobile on a regular basis. With decreased
tissue perfusion, the patient is at an even greater risk for tissue breakdown. Repositioning will

Diversity In The Workplace
Essay The demand for high quality talent is outstripping supply and this is not expected to
change. The above statement is true in today s world economy and hence relying on local
talents is not enough, so companies should also consider foreign talent markets for obtaining
high quality and dedicated talents. The workplaces need to be more diverse in order to survive
in today s non static market. What foreign talents bring is vision and experiences which might be
applicable in their local market but the learning that can be obtained from those experiences will
definitely help the company which plans to hire them and that learning can be applied to similar
markets as well. What is meant by Diversity in Workplace? The basic concept for diversity is
rapidly developing. It is no longer just about creating heterogeneous workforces, but now it is also
about using that workforce to create the innovative products, services and business practices that
can give a company a competitive advantage in the market. And on a global scale, as companies
compete, diversity and inclusion have to frequently shift, as different markets and different cultures
have varied definitions of what diversity means. In today s market almost all executives understand
that their companies cannot be successful on a global platform unless they have a diverse
workforce. A diverse workforce is necessary to drive innovation, foster creativity and guide business
strategies. When a company has people from multiple

Abstract
This paper will discuss the effects perfusion has on the body as well as the multiple body systems
that are effected from poor perfusion. We will be looking at the relationships between profusion as
it relates to ischemic stroke, myocardial infarction, and tuberculosis. This paper will use online
journal entries from EPSCO as well as off line entries from Lewis to help us find a better
understanding into the related topics at hand. Lastly I will discuss stroke in depth as it pertains
to my clinical experience and explain the strong link profusion has on ischemic stroke and the
measures used to retain brain tissue. We will look at research done by Agarwal, Smriti (2015) that
looks at the effectiveness and time saving procedures researched by his team when detecting
stroke as well as research done by Dong, Hongli (2015) that shows a strong correlation between
vitamin b12 and folic acid and the prevention of an ischemic event.

Coming to an end at the Muslims of Western Europe, the presence of Muslims in Europe is not a
new force, but a generation of siege and conquer. Over the years Ottomans and other missionaries
have put forward their idea of Islam in many parts of Europe, including Bosnia and Romania.
The Importance of Understanding Muslims and Islam:
Muslims and Islam are two related terms, at the same time different in its application. Let us first
talk about the importance of understanding the term Muslims. Muslims are people who belong to
the religion Islam. Muslims could act in various ways, presenting their actions differently, a Muslim
from India or South Africa. Another good example of a Muslim view would be, the performance of
their political and sect actions.
For example, Saidi Qutb of Egypt believed the west is corrupt in their actions and he has different
view of the West. The other example would be Saudi Arabia s acceptance of United States Forces
to land in the holy place of Islam and welcoming the west.
Our second question deals with the understanding of Islam. The message that this faith brings to the
world is important to understand that Islam claims the holy message of God, a force that has
brought a completion to the writings of the three holy books of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
Islam is a religion that has brought peace,

When Math and Science Rule the School Essay
In his essay Dehumanized: When Math and Science Rule the School published in Harper s
Magazine, Mark Slouka argues that mathematics and science are overshadowing important
humanity studies throughout schools all over the United States. Slouka s use of emotional and
ethical appeals through personal experiences and extensive observation offer insight into what he
believes is a problem in our modern society: Math and Science studies receiving more focus and
importance than the humanities. Slouka s target audience seems to be the young adults in the United

Humanities are required for the development of an individual s creativity and expression,
without these skills our society would be monotonous and bland. Our nation was built on the
ideals of freedom and democracy, and although math and science help us to progress
economically and technologically, they don t help individuals to express themselves to be
effectively represented by our government. Furthermore, Slouka states that he is not taking away
from the importance of math and science, he is merely stressing the equal importance of
humanities. Despite the fact that Slouka seems jealous and mocking towards math and science
at some parts in his essay, he does an equally effective job of stating their necessity to everyday
life. While expressing his idea of what teaching is for, Slouka states It s about investing in our
human capital...it s about ensuring that the United States does not fall from its privileged perch in
the global economy. Despite the fact businesses look for individuals who are experienced in such
areas as math and science, they are also interested in the ability to problem solve and be creative,
which cannot be taught by math and science alone. Slouka s goal is for the United State s education
system to find an equilibrium between what he likes to call mathandscience and the humanities. If

Mom was always getting arrested for her cocaine addiction and Eminem was starting to become
famous for his rapping. It was a lot to handle at one time for the children. He tells his daughters to:
Straighten up little soldier stiffen up that upper lip. He s telling them to be strong and that
everything will be okay someday. ( Eminem Mockingbird. ) Now, let s consider the second verse
of the song. He tells of a story where one Christmas he had no money to buy presents for his
daughters. He had to keep food on the table instead. Eminem and Kim (his wife) tried to start a
college savings for their daughters, but every time they tried saving up, their house always got
broken into. Life got worse, and they both eventually moved out. Eminem was starting to get
famous for his CD, and he had to start working for his rap career, distancing himself even further
from his daughters. He is sorry that his kids had to go through this. He only wanted to make a
good image for them. Now he is all alone in a house remembering the past of them. He finally
reminds his daughters that Mom will not be gone long. ( Eminem Mockingbird. )
As with any topic, when an individual takes the time to do their research, usually they will
appreciate the subject a little bit more than they used to. This is exactly what we did. We read the
lyrics and we found the message behind Eminem s songs. Songs like this usually will contain a

Evolution Of Primate Intelligence For Example Gestation...
Primates are said to share at least ninety eight percent of their DNA with us humans. The reason
why we re so fascinated with studying other primates is because we would like to uncover the
hidden secret s that makes us so similar yet so different at the same time. They give us an idea
of how our ancestors may have evolved and where do we begin to separate in our lineage and
how far back do we go. They are many different elements that helped shape the evolution of
primate intelligence for example gestation period, social organization and mating process. So
what exactly is that makes it so different from our primate cousins? Our brain and the size of it!
Our brain is more developed than our primate cousins, but how and why is the question. Let s
begin by discussing the parts and function of our brains. The neo cortex is the largest part of the
brain and the most important. This part of the brain is divided into four different sections: the
temporal lobe, occipital lobe, parietal and the frontal lobe. These four sections are located on either
the right or left hemisphere of the brain they are connected by axons that send messages to and
fro between both hemispheres and to specific parts of the brain then to the body. Our neo cortex
is what makes us so different from our primate cousins. It s the thing that distinguishes and makes
our species so special and different from any other species on the planet. We have the largest neo
cortex in relation to body size of all known

The Relational Model For Data Storage
Abstract
The relational model, which uses predefined tabular relations to store data, has remained the
preeminent model for data storage since it was first implemented in the early 1980s. However, due
to the proliferation of the Internet, today data flows in and out of organizations quickly, and most
of this data is in a semi structured state that is designed for communication over http. It is difficult
to fit this complex data into a flat two dimensional array. For that reason, it is imperative that
companies have the ability to store data in a semi structured format compatible with modern
network communications as well as various platforms and devices. The market has realized this and
responded with document stores that support formats, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, the proliferation of the Internet in the late twentieth century has changed the database
landscape rapidly and drastically.
Today, interconnected networks around the globe stream data to a profusion of devices that range
from powerful mainframe supercomputers, and massive grids of commodity machines to
smartphones and tiny single board computers embedded in home appliances. Most of the flow of
data is done through the Internet or over other large TCP/IP networks that utilize HTTP
communications. For that reason, most of this data is in a semi structured state that is designed not
for storage in a relational database, but for communication over HTTP. This data often arrives and
leaves in a voluminous stream. It is therefore difficult for organizations to convert the data quickly
to and from a format that is conforms to the rigid tabular structure of a relational schema.
Support for semi structured data is integral to the collection and storage of data in the Internet age.
While the relational model is sill a good long term storage solution, organizations must be able to
store and query semi structured data that is in a format compatible with HTTP communication
because almost all modern devices use this medium of communication. While XML can serve as a
solution to this problem, JSON, a condensed format that is based on the well known JavaScript
language, has many benefits over XML which I will

People communicate for more meaning than only for the words spoken. Sometimes what we
intended to say is not what the other person undersrands. By understanding why misunderstanding

(Managing and managing people, 2011a). The three approaches by John Austin (1962) who

According to McLaughlin et al, (2008), the distance in proximity between people affects people s
levels of comfort and can cause anxiety.
Fear and lack of trust are among the most typical barriers to effective communication. People can be
hesitant to communicate in particular their thoughts as well as their feelings for fear of being
criticised, getting negative reactions, or getting an angry response. if people lack trust they might
be hesitant to communicate, not just their feelings and thoughts, but any ideas they might have.
For example, the situation was hugely affected by the service user s current emotions which
involved her family members constantly shouting and criticising her. She appeared nervous and
anxious especially whenever one of her parents came into the kitchen. It was evident that she was
not listening actively to what was being said. To be able to listen actively the listener is required
to be attentive (Jones, 2009; Smith, 2010; Xue, 2009). The service user was distracted and was not
as attentive as when it was just the two of us in the room.
Interpersonal barriers, otherwise referred to as personality clashes occur when relationships

in one another is low, therefore leading to emotional barriers set out above (Managing and

Margaret Atwood Film Techniques
Costume Design is one of the most important factors in the filmmaking process. A single piece of
clothing can change the audiences perception of a character. Contemporary films use costume
design in a way to create a realistic and familiar setting, while period dramas or films from
another time use it as a way to shape a character. Throughout the years, the approach to costume
design has evolved but the heart of it has never wavered. Films are affected greatly by the use of

Literature Review
It is hypothesized that dysregulation at the presynaptic terminals can impact functionality at post
synaptic terminals and alter dopamine and glutamate levels (Egbujo et al., 2016). This impact on
dopamine and glutamate could be the precursor to the altered functional connectivity seen in
schizophrenia (Egbujo et al., 2016). The molecular processes that underlie this process include
presynaptic SNARE proteins, synaptic membrane proteins, synapsins, syntaxin 1, synaptobrevin,
and complexins (Egbujo et al., 2016). In many cases, these proteins are under or over expressed in
certain areas of the brain crucial to schizophrenia (Egbujo et al., 2016). The overall mechanism
operating efficiently would involve neurotransmitter recruitment and concentration within vesicles,
targeting the pooled vesicles to the presynaptic terminal, and vesicle exocytosis, endocytosis, and
recycling (Egbujo et al., 2016). The previously mentioned proteins play a significant role in this
process. In my novel medication, I would include a unique chemical property that increased or
decreased synaptic efficiency based on under or overexpression of these crucial pre synaptic
proteins. This would allow dopamine and glutamate levels to return to appropriate levels and
hopefully allay symptoms of schizophrenia. Another potential aspect to my

Taking a Look at the Renaissance
Renaissance is a generally accepted name for the era of great change in culture, art, and architecture
which took place in the fifteenth and sixteenth century Italy, and then left its mark on the culture of
the whole of Europe. During the Renaissance there was a significant shift of universally recognized
values. They began to appreciate and recognize the creative possibilities of a human mind, which
entailed a lot of consequences. One of them was the spectacular development of the architecture,
and the new role of architecture and the architect in society. New forms of secular buildings such
as villas, palaces, houses and town halls were exemplified, but most of building activity was
centered on sacred buildings like the famed Tempietto by Donatano Bramante. Tempietto is a prime
example of Renaissancearchitecture because not only it represents key characteristics like the
simplicity of the composition, symmetry within structure, but it also resurrects precedents of
Christian and pagan origin which were a baseline for many designs during that period.
For many reasons the Renaissance began in Italy. In addition to the fact that there existed a rich
artistic tradition, Italy was the richest country in Europe at that time. Cities were in bloom, rich
merchants and bankers wanted to glorify their names ordering portraits, building magnificent
palaces, decorating family chapels. And although the mere presence of such a generous patronage
did not have to guarantee the creation of

The Harsh Times Of The 1890 S
During the harsh times of the 1890 s, the Newsboys were under severe oppression in the working
place. This would change when they publicly challenged the authority of the corporate operation,
ultimately leading to a shift in New York civil disputes and eventually helping to engulf the
unfair working laws that were presented. This will and would lead the change of many civil
minds and spark more impactful rebellions down the road. Up to this point a multitude of people
were oppressed in many ways, varying from race, to belief(s), and in the work force. The time in
which these series of strikes took place were up to the evolutionary pre nineteen hundreds.

The date was July 21st, 1899, and the fed up employees of the money hungry corporate news
companies had had enough. They unified under the strength of Kid Blink . Throughout the city you
could hear the chants of those who seeked a change in political and price changes. After much
hassling and bullying from the rich, the determined boy s reflected the shame that they were so
often tied together with. When asked what truly sparked the rebellion of the strike, an interviewer
got the direct response in this form.
What will you strike for? The interviewer asked, as the messenger boy replied, For a raise from
3.50 cents what we get now to four dollars a week and pay for overtime. They make us pay
thirteen dollars for a uniform, and one dollar for a hat , and 2.50 for rubber boots, and two
dollars for a rubber coat...I only made 65 cents my first week. Not only were the uniforms
expensive by nature, but the the final blow in a sorts was that Pulitzer and Hearst raised the price
from 50 cents per one hundred bundles, to 60 cents where some even claim it was higher, up to 70
cents per bundle.

Racism In Othello And The Tempest By William Shakespeare
Racism in Shakespeare or Absurdity?
Is there racism in Shakespeare s works or is this notion absurd? Shakespeare may not be racist,
but two of his plays do contain racism. One may argue that Shakespeare does not openly speak of
racism in his plays, but Shakespeare does write with the idea of racism in mind, because his
characters do make comments that can be considered racist. In Shakespeare s plays Othello and The
Tempest, the underlying idea of racism is present in these works, and his audiences can come to this
conclusion, because of the way the characters, Othello and Caliban, are unjustly treated due to their
appearances.
In the play Othello, the idea of racism is first revealed in Act One, Scene One. Iago and Rodrigo are

Therefore, Brabanzio should not be so distraught about the marriage. This leads to the following
question: Why is Othello not good enough in Brabanzio s eyes, when he is supposedly viewed
as a friend? The answer is simple. The reason why Brabanzio has Othello as a guest in his home
is because of all the good deeds he has done for Venice. Othello is good enough to be friends with
Brabanzio, but Othello is not good enough to be a son in law, because of his outsider status and
skin color. Later in the play, Brabanzio s claim of the use of magic may be true, when Othello
freaks out about Desdemona losing the handkerchief, because Othello claims that it is supposed
to keep her faithful to him. Others may argue that the handkerchief is merely a keepsake from his
past, but since he goes into detail of the handkerchief s power and history, Brabanzio s argument
about magic no longer seems that farfetched; therefore, this scene helps prove Brabanzio s sanity.
By proving Brabanzio s sanity, audiences can now come to the conclusion that Brabanzio s
outrage about the news of the wedding is due to the fact that he is racist and does not approve of
Othello, because of his dark skin color and outside status. Overall, these are just some of the
numerous examples of racism throughout the play Othello.
Like the play Othello, The Tempest also, portrays numerous examples of the idea of

Alcoholism In James Joyce s Dubliners
In Dubliners by James Joyce, there is a common theme of alcoholism that occurs many times in
this collection of stories. Hardly any of these stories fail to mention the presence and influence of
alcohol. In some of these stories, Joyce puts the focus on the short term consequences of excessive
night drinking, This leads to abusing others and self inflicted pain. In other stories, the focus is on
the effects of a strong addiction that would eventually lead the character(s) to an early trip to the
grave. Examples that showcase this theme of alcoholism can found in The Boarding House, A

Another goal of the strategic plan was to increase excellence in the programs (Florida State
University, 2017c). Merit based funding would help recruit the brightest students and motivate
them to want to attend the university. High merit students were more enticed to attend an in state
college that provided merit based funding (Domina, 2014).
By providing merit based funding, the university would make a return on investment. There was
more of an increase of revenue for merit based aid compared to aid given to low income students
(Weisbrod et al., 2011). Also, the university would receive preeminent funding from the state that
was based on the preeminent criteria that was mentioned above (The Florida Legislature, 2017).
There were other forms of return on investment. Higher institutions that dispersed merit based
funding had a higher student enrollment and higher number of students receiving a bachelor s
degree (Domina, 2014). Universities needed to keep tuition costs down for students (Patterson,
2016), and merit based funding was a way to decrease costs to the students who did not qualify for
need based funding (Weisbrod et al., 2011). The funding would come from the Florida State
University Foundation, which receives funding from donations (Florida State University, 2017b).

Japan s Laws Of The Trafficking Of Women And Children Is...
Japan is a Tier 2 source, transit, and destination country for forced labor, sexual exploitation, and
forced marriages. Men, women, and children are all susceptible to trafficking. The government
actively participates in the exploitation of its people, especially through the program of TITP, or
the Technical Intern Training Program. The proliferation of the sexual trafficking of women and
children is driven by sex tourism. Runaway girls are among the victims of this horrific trade.
Japan does not meet the minimum standard of the 2000 UN TIP Protocol and is the only G 8
member who did not accede to neither its standards nor the 2000 Transnational Organized Crime
Convention. There are no convictions for perpetrators of forced labor and no laws enacted to
prosecute traffickers. Japan s laws are not collusive with international definitions of trafficking. In
2015, Japan had a modest increase in the enforcement of ant trafficking laws. However, Japan s
laws do not exclude all forms of trafficking, rather there are large gaps in their criminal laws. Under
the 1956 ProstitutionPrevention Law, Articles 7 through 12 criminalizes the procurement of
prostitutes and forced prostitution. Article 226 2 also criminalizes the buying and selling of
humans. Under the 1947 Employment Security Act, it criminalizes the engagement of labor
recruitment through violence, intimidation, or confinement. It also criminalizes the recruitment of
labor for work that is harmful to public health and moral

Some literary theorists argue that interpretation only takes place when the reader has developed

much of a difference there is between their social classes. Dexter realizes he will never be able to

According to Wolff (1958), the introduction of small arms with rapid fire capabilities and artillery
lead to armies digging miles and miles of trenches with fronted with barbed wire to adapt. Trench
warfare changed the nature in which the war could be fought because this defensive position, that
often limited movement, was utilized throughout the French and German borders. Trenches
hindered any flanking movement and limited armies from fighting opposing armies how they were
used to. Therefore, instead of making any bold flanking movements, soldiers had to utilize trenches
to make frontal attacks. During such movements, soldiers were often killed in mass numbers
because there was no cover or concealment from the friendly trench to the opposing army s trench.
Often soldiers were victim to machine gun fire or artillery. With this change in warfare, adaptation
was necessary. (Wolff, 1958)
It was obvious that previous war tactics were now obsolete with the increased use of the machine
gun. In order to bypass the dangers of conducting a frontal attack of the enemy against the threat
of machine guns, new weapons were created and tested. Colonel Ernest Swinton of the British
army laid down critical specifications that had to be part of the end product. This creation was a

Physiotherapy is essential in the treatment of CF in order to allow the patient to live their day to

they are diagnosed with CF. The job of the physiotherapist is to clear mucus secretions in the lungs
and try to maintain pulmonary function in the patient. When the patient is in their infancy, the
physiotherapist will prescribe exercises that the parents of the child can perform, as the child is
unable to take instruction and perform Airway Clearance Techniques. Instead the parents should

decrease in pulmonary function through the use of x rays. The physiotherapist also works hand in

The Earthquake Of Nepal Earthquake
Earthquakes are destructive natural disasters that have the potential to occur. Earthquakes greatly
impact various locations around the world. Generally, earthquakes typically only last for a few
brief moments but they can greatly impact a society. One of which include the Nepal Earthquake of
April 25,2015. This particular earthquakeflattened large parts of the capital Kathmandu and also,
caused destruction throughout the already improvised Himalayan nation. The earthquake in Nepal
was the most catastrophic natural disaster in the last 80 years (News Discovery, 2015). With this
in mind, the Nepal earthquake obviously has caused a tremendous amount of damage and loss.
However, earthquakes are bound to take place due to Mother Nature. In order to understand the
severity of the earthquake in Nepal, it is imperative to comprehend how earthquakes form. While
much of the damage in Nepal could be attributed to the country s poor infrastructure, citizens in
other nations can mitigate the disastrous effects of an earthquake by becoming knowledgeable of
natural disasters. Thus, this paper will explain several different aspects regarding how earthquakes
form, the severity of the Nepal earthquake, and how earthquakes can be mitigated. Ultimately, to
fully comprehend a specific earthquake one must know how earthquakes form as well as, how they
work. An earthquake is the shaking and vibration of the Earth s crust. This happens when two

technological innovation. Ten years ago, the company was first to market with a highly successful

displacement of coated bubble by a technologically inferior yet inexpensive uncoated product.
Burgeoning demand for uncoated bubble poses a direct threat to the long term viability of the

As a result, larger distributors typically carry competitive products. Margins on product resale is
generally higher than 10%. The proliferation of packaging products and poor product education
has caused confusion among end users. US consumers have traditionally viewed packaging
supplies as a cost saving resource. Consequently, packaging engineers are accorded high status
and influence roughly 40% of material purchase decisions. The US market is experiencing strong
growth, driven in part by the growth of the coated and uncoated bubbles segment. However,
AirCap s market share remains stagnant (Appendix A). It is apparent that a growing segment of
end users are willing to forgo product quality for a lower price. European firms, in particular, are
price conscious and less technically oriented; many firms view packaging supplies as expendable
commodities. This has enabled manufacturers of technically inferior, inexpensive uncoated bubble

AnalysisВ—there are many minor onesВ….GAFCEL in NY Sealed Air faces both direct and

The Tradition Of The Century Viking Wars
1.Many of the Air Force s customs, traditions, and procedures are traceable to the earliest warriors.
The dining in is one such military tradition that has its roots in the distant past. The pre Christian
Roman Legions probably began the dining in tradition. Roman military commanders frequently
held great feasts to honor individuals and militaryunits. These get togethers were victory
celebrations where past feats were remembered and loot of new conquests paraded. The second
century Viking war lords stylized the format of the victory feast. With the exception of the lookout,
or watch, the entire clan attended these celebrations. Feats of strength and skill were performed to
entertain the members and guests. The leader took his place at the head of the table, with all others
to his right and left in descending order of rank.
2.The dining in custom was transplanted to ancient England by Roman and Viking warriors, and
King Arthur s Knights of the Round Table practiced a form of dining in in the sixth century. The
tradition eventually spread to non military groups, such as the Saxon nobles of the tenth century
and the medieval monasteries. The monks, who followed a more rigid regimen, had their form of
dining in as an integral part of monastic life. The clergy spread the custom to the academies and
universities. The British officer corps, with many graduates of these centers of learning, carried the
tradition back to military units. The dining in became increasingly

What Do Brevard County Residents Believe The Environmental...
Research Question To what extent do Brevard County residents believe the Environmental
Protection Agency s laws, in place, are effectively written and enforced to protect wetlands from
landfills?
On Florida s Space Coast in Brevard County, the main landfill that is located on Sarno Road, is
expected to exceed capacity within the next five years. Another large landfill, located in the north
area of the county is expected to exceed capacity within the next twenty years. Because of the
current need to fulfill the waste management needs for over Brevard County, the county has
formulated a proposal to put the first cell of a Class III or construction and demolition waste,
landfill, that will service Brevard County for about sixty years with the prospect of adding a
more cells. This landfill will be located on land 2700 feet north of US 192, just east of the
Brevard and Osceola County border on land the county forced the Deseret cattle ranchers to sell
as a public necessity, more than two decades ago, in 1991. The land was purchased for over ten
million dollars by Brevard County and hundreds of thousands of dollars has been spent by the
county in court, on 134 wetland credits that were required to be purchased by the county, by the
state, outside research, maintaining the land, and the drafting of the landfill proposal itself . The
three thousand acres of land bought by the county currently encompasses wetlands, pastures, and a
grazing area that is roughly half of the size

Qualitative Data Evaluation
To analyze the results of evaluation, the evaluators will undertake a robust analysis to identify
whether or not there are any differences in patient characteristics and treatments provided by the six
Victorian hospitals to Aboriginal people and non Aboriginal people. The qualitative data will be
transcribed and analyzed by using NVivo software based on the evaluation frameworks. Whereas
the quantitative data would be assessed by using SPSS in order to measure the impacts of the
policy directions, funding, workforce competencies and performance to facilitate the change in
service delivery. To strengthen the validity of findings, we also conduct triangulation that will help
to compare the qualitative data based on the opinion of key stakeholders and quantitative data from
any sources. After completing data analysis, we will conduct a consultation with key stakeholders
to discuss the preliminary findings, to establish any conclusions, and then to identify a possible
improvement for strengthening the evidence. To eliminate the possible bias in justifying a
conclusion, we will conduct some reflection by involving Aboriginal people.

There are several levels of tummy tuck, including a full abdominoplasty, a belt lipectomy, a small incision abdominoplasty and a reverse abdominoplasty. Our specialist will help you choose the one that will give you the best results. Breast augmentation may be a breast lift or breast implants. For some women, a breast lift is all it takes to restore their breasts to their original position. It involves raising the breast and repositioning the nipple. For other women, breast implants are the best way to restore volume and make the breasts look younger and fuller. Implants may be recommended to restore the original size and firmness or to make the breasts a little larger than they were before pregnancy. Liposuction can remove fat, but it does not treat loose or stretched skin that may be left behind after the fat is removed. This is the main reason liposuction is typically used along with a tummy tuck. The combination of these procedures is the most effective way to make the abdomen and waist line tight and ... According to Luthans, the analysis of risk can be done with two types of political risk analysis, Macro and Micro Analysis. Macro Analysis is an analysis of political ideas and decisions that will impact all businesses in a country and Micro Analysis is an analysis of governmental regulations and policies that affect a specific sector of on economy or market such as the auto industry (Luthans, 2015). The weather affects us constantly, whether rain or shine. Tropical storms and hurricanes have been in the news a lot lately. Since I live on the Gulf of Mexico I have learned that during hurricane season it is critical to pay attention to the weather and be prepared for a hurricane. I think about how much more damage would be caused and how many lives could be lost if we didn t have an understanding of the weather. Even today with resources such as the weather channel and local news reports we cannot prevent damage to the environment completely. Race and racial hierarchies are reinforced through the proliferation of a predominant, societal, white aesthetic and through the perceptions associated with physical characteristics. In The Bluest Eye, Toni Morrison first illustrates the reinforcement of racial hierarchies through the proliferation of a predominant, societal white aesthetic by recounting passages from the Dick and Janebooks, a standardization of family life. Next, The Black Arts Movementby Larry Nealdemonstrates the reinforcement of racial hierarchies through the proliferation of a white aesthetic by discussing how Black culture, including Black art, is in danger if the white aesthetic is accepted by Black artists. These books, with their simplistic two and three word sentences, were widely used to teach all children how to read and suggested that the lifestyle of Dick and Jane was typical and standard. But, the Dick and Jane lifestyle was certainly not the typical lifestyle for Claudia, Pecola or either of their families. So, that lifestyle was presumed to be the typical white lifestyle. Furthermore, the lifestyle of Dick and Jane was obviously viewed as superior to a sad, broken, difficult family life, similar to what Claudia and Pecola were accustomed, so white lifestyles in general were viewed as superior. Consequently, exposure to this white aesthetic, especially at an early age, would create, proliferate and reinforce a racial hierarchy. In The Black Arts Movement, Larry Neal also discusses how a racial hierarchy is reinforced through the proliferation of a predominant, societal, white aesthetic. Neal says that, there are in fact and in spirit two Americas one black, one white. (Neal 2039). Further, Neal discusses the danger of not counteracting the white way of thinking, trumpeting the need for a Black aesthetic. The motive behind the Black aesthetic is the destruction of the white thing, the destruction of white ideas, and white ways of looking at the world. (Neal 2040). Lack of informing the stakeholders the risks of the project, absence of communications with all the involved stakeholders, misunderstanding of the software process by the software manager and the software developers also. This affected the requirement gathering, planning, documentation as well as the implementation. My approach: The fundraisers, in this case the LAS management, should be made aware of the pros and cons of meeting their requirements. The software managers who play an important role can correctly estimate these factors based on their experience. Hence if I was in charge of choosing the software managers and the company, I would prefer a company at with experience at the cost of cheaper software, taking into consideration that delivering a flawless product is more important than a flawed inexpensive one. The cost of people s lives can t be put to stake in this case. If I was on the other side of receiving a contract for the development of a system with limited resources in terms of hardware, time and money, I would try to present the risks of implementation according to the impossible requirements. If System Options, the company that rejected the deal, presenting the risks of doing so, just like the other companies, then the stakeholders, who had little idea of the cost of their requirements, would have reconsidered their funding or the stringent requirements and the root cause of the disaster would have been avoided. • 10. Diversity In The Workplace Essay The demand for high quality talent is outstripping supply and this is not expected to change. The above statement is true in today s world economy and hence relying on local talents is not enough, so companies should also consider foreign talent markets for obtaining high quality and dedicated talents. The workplaces need to be more diverse in order to survive in today s non static market. What foreign talents bring is vision and experiences which might be applicable in their local market but the learning that can be obtained from those experiences will definitely help the company which plans to hire them and that learning can be applied to similar markets as well. What is meant by Diversity in Workplace? The basic concept for diversity is rapidly developing. It is no longer just about creating heterogeneous workforces, but now it is also about using that workforce to create the innovative products, services and business practices that can give a company a competitive advantage in the market. And on a global scale, as companies compete, diversity and inclusion have to frequently shift, as different markets and different cultures have varied definitions of what diversity means. In today s market almost all executives understand that their companies cannot be successful on a global platform unless they have a diverse workforce. Furthermore, Slouka states that he is not taking away from the importance of math and science, he is merely stressing the equal importance of humanities. They give us an idea of how our ancestors may have evolved and where do we begin to separate in our lineage and how far back do we go. They are many different elements that helped shape the evolution of primate intelligence for example gestation period, social organization and mating process. So what exactly is that makes it so different from our primate cousins? Our brain and the size of it! Our brain is more developed than our primate cousins, but how and why is the question. Let s begin by discussing the parts and function of our brains. The neo cortex is the largest part of the brain and the most important. This part of the brain is divided into four different sections: the temporal lobe, occipital lobe, parietal and the frontal lobe. These four sections are located on either the right or left hemisphere of the brain they are connected by axons that send messages to and fro between both hemispheres and to specific parts of the brain then to the body. However, due to the proliferation of the Internet, today data flows in and out of organizations quickly, and most of this data is in a semi structured state that is designed for communication over http. It is difficult to fit this complex data into a flat two dimensional array. For that reason, it is imperative that companies have the ability to store data in a semi structured format compatible with modern network communications as well as various platforms and devices. However, the proliferation of the Internet in the late twentieth century has changed the database landscape rapidly and drastically. Today, interconnected networks around the globe stream data to a profusion of devices that range from powerful mainframe supercomputers, and massive grids of commodity machines to smartphones and tiny single board computers embedded in home appliances. Most of the flow of data is done through the Internet or over other large TCP/IP networks that utilize HTTP communications. For that reason, most of this data is in a semi structured state that is designed not for storage in a relational database, but for communication over HTTP. This data often arrives and leaves in a voluminous stream. It is therefore difficult for organizations to convert the data quickly to and from a format that is conforms to the rigid tabular structure of a relational schema. Support for semi structured data is integral to the collection and storage of data in the Internet age. While the relational model is sill a good long term storage solution, organizations must be able to store and query semi structured data that is in a format compatible with HTTP communication because almost all modern devices use this medium of communication. People can be hesitant to communicate in particular their thoughts as well as their feelings for fear of being criticised, getting negative reactions, or getting an angry response. if people lack trust they might be hesitant to communicate, not just their feelings and thoughts, but any ideas they might have. For example, the situation was hugely affected by the service user s current emotions which involved her family members constantly shouting and criticising her. There have been several hypotheses as to the cause of schizophrenia. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A medication with these properties would be difficult to develop, but potentially quite beneficial and efficacious. Literature Review It is hypothesized that dysregulation at the presynaptic terminals can impact functionality at post synaptic terminals and alter dopamine and glutamate levels (Egbujo et al., 2016). This impact on dopamine and glutamate could be the precursor to the altered functional connectivity seen in schizophrenia (Egbujo et al., 2016). The molecular processes that underlie this process include presynaptic SNARE proteins, synaptic membrane proteins, synapsins, syntaxin 1, synaptobrevin, and complexins (Egbujo et al., 2016). In many cases, these proteins are under or over expressed in certain areas of the brain crucial to schizophrenia (Egbujo et al., 2016). The overall mechanism operating efficiently would involve neurotransmitter recruitment and concentration within vesicles, targeting the pooled vesicles to the presynaptic terminal, and vesicle exocytosis, endocytosis, and recycling (Egbujo et al., 2016). The previously mentioned proteins play a significant role in this process. In my novel medication, I would include a unique chemical property that increased or decreased synaptic efficiency based on under or overexpression of these crucial pre synaptic proteins. This would allow dopamine and glutamate levels to return to appropriate levels and hopefully allay symptoms of schizophrenia. Another potential aspect to my ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Taking a Look at the Renaissance Renaissance is a generally accepted name for the era of great change in culture, art, and architecture which took place in the fifteenth and sixteenth century Italy, and then left its mark on the culture of the whole of Europe. During the Renaissance there was a significant shift of universally recognized values. They began to appreciate and recognize the creative possibilities of a human mind, which entailed a lot of consequences. One of them was the spectacular development of the architecture, and the new role of architecture and the architect in society. New forms of secular buildings such as villas, palaces, houses and town halls were exemplified, but most of building activity was centered on sacred buildings like the famed Tempietto by Donatano Bramante. Tempietto is a prime example of Renaissancearchitecture because not only it represents key characteristics like the simplicity of the composition, symmetry within structure, but it also resurrects precedents of Christian and pagan origin which were a baseline for many designs during that period. For many reasons the Renaissance began in Italy. In addition to the fact that there existed a rich artistic tradition, Italy was the richest country in Europe at that time. Cities were in bloom, rich merchants and bankers wanted to glorify their names ordering portraits, building magnificent palaces, decorating family chapels. Therefore, Brabanzio should not be so distraught about the marriage. This leads to the following question: Why is Othello not good enough in Brabanzio s eyes, when he is supposedly viewed as a friend? The answer is simple. The reason why Brabanzio has Othello as a guest in his home is because of all the good deeds he has done for Venice. Othello is good enough to be friends with Brabanzio, but Othello is not good enough to be a son in law, because of his outsider status and skin color. Later in the play, Brabanzio s claim of the use of magic may be true, when Othello freaks out about Desdemona losing the handkerchief, because Othello claims that it is supposed to keep her faithful to him. Men, women, and children are all susceptible to trafficking. The government actively participates in the exploitation of its people, especially through the program of TITP, or the Technical Intern Training Program. The proliferation of the sexual trafficking of women and children is driven by sex tourism. Runaway girls are among the victims of this horrific trade. Japan does not meet the minimum standard of the 2000 UN TIP Protocol and is the only G 8 member who did not accede to neither its standards nor the 2000 Transnational Organized Crime Convention. There are no convictions for perpetrators of forced labor and no laws enacted to prosecute traffickers. Japan s laws are not collusive with international definitions of trafficking. Trenches hindered any flanking movement and limited armies from fighting opposing armies how they were used to. Therefore, instead of making any bold flanking movements, soldiers had to utilize trenches to make frontal attacks.
