Hitler s New Man
Upon achieving power in 1933, Hitler and the Nazi state began to implement increasingly severe
measures aimed at segregating and ultimately removing the Jewish people from Germany and
eventually all of Europe. Hitler s further achievement was to create the new man. However,
meanwhile the creation of Hitler s new man was giving Germany a sense of destiny, the Jewish life
was being constricted and erased. But what exactly was this idea of a new man? The ultimate
attitude behind this new achievement was to further purify the Aryan race. One of the first steps
towards purity were the Aryan passports, but these were just the beginning of a much broader effort
or revolution for Germans to accept their racial responsibilities. Genetic cultivation... Show more

The second law established who would be granted full political and civic rights and those who
would now be deprived of them. Citizenship rights were to be granted to those who were citizens
of the Reich, which were only individuals classified as being of German or related blood ,
therefore Jews were excluded from any and all citizenship rights becoming state subjects, essentially
making them foreigners in their own country. Kristallnacht refers to Jewish pogroms that took place
in 1938. These attacks took place against synagogues, Jewish owned businesses, other Jewish
establishments, and Jewish citizens in general. This was also the start to organized Nazi attacks,
and the mass incarceration of the Jews. There was no clear Instructions on how to execute the
violence, so it caused the destroying of Jewish property and inhumane treatment of Jewish people.
Kristallnacht essentially became the turning point in the Nazis persecution of the Jewish people. It
expanded the efforts to removed Jews from German economics and social life. Kristallnacht and the
events that followed essentially showed the Nazi regime that they can count on the nationwide
support of anti Semitism from the general public. This showed the Nazis that they can easily move
forward with their plans without a lot of opposition

Golden Time Research Paper
Golden Time
The first time I stepped out of one reality and into one consisting only of a stretch of desert was
in 2009. It was staggering. I felt a path being paved ahead of me. Not a road, but an everlasting
guide to the way of life. The way to live a life. The waves of sand, holding this universe together,
trampled my feet as I took each step further into this world of golden time. A new time zone. One
in which time was measured by a sequence of dry, quiet sounds. The wind and the grains of sand
synchronized to create a mirage of a tissue paper; I felt it cleanse me of the burdens my previous
reality held. Thoughts began to float in my tumultuous mind. Quite often I would wonder how
such a place could carry the stories of a million lives, and whether I would ever find my place
among them.
Each consecutive step I took presented me with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They are just pieces of the puzzle that the desert s travelers have been uncovering for centuries. To
this day, I remember the moment I finally recognized the insignificance of the continuous
worries that permeated my previous reality. I learned what holds true worth. Hundreds of
lustrous stars appeared before my eyes, shimmering at me like the never before existing eighth
wonder of the world. I felt as though my sense of direction had been restored, the stars lighting
the path the sand was paving for me. Together, they gave me hope. What one may see as
tragedies buried layer by layer beneath my resilient feet, I saw as delicate Saharan teachers. It is a
desolate maze built to a perfect ratio of land and water, that challenges its contenders, breaking
them down to simply build them back up. It is a test of courage. One in which silence throbs and
gleams within the loops of thought that form in the minds of its travelers as they first step into the
realm of

The Problem Of Chest Pain
Since most people in our society consider chest pain to be of a cardiac origin, pediatric chest pain
can not only be scary the child, but can also cause anxiety for the parents due to the fear of their
child s condition. Luckily, many causes of chest pain are usually benign and rarely can be a
sign of cardiac disease. With this in mind, providers should complete a preliminary evaluation for
chest pain, decide on differential diagnoses, and than develop an appropriate plan. Providers
should also be aware of the most likely causes of chest pain in children, which include reactive
airway disease, musculoskeletal pain, esophagitis, gastritis, and functional pain (Hay, Levin,
Deterding, Abzug, 2014). Will all of those in mind, by far the most common cause in children is
chest pain from a musculoskeletal injury. The initial evaluation should include a detailed history
and physical examination to help guide the provider to the proper workup, and rarely is there a
need for laboratory tests or evaluation by a specialist (Hay, Levin, Deterding, Abzug, 2014). First
finding out when the pain started, last month, last year, and so forth, will be of high importance,
then once a time frame is establish, details about the most recent episode should be obtained. The
provider should ask how long the pain lasted, what made it better, made it worse, and then move on
to what brought on the pain, with arm movement, breathing, dizziness, particular activity and so
forth. Once the cause

The New Immigration And The Upheaval Of The Civil Rights...
It is in this context of new immigration and the upheaval of the Civil Rights movement that
multiculturalism was chosen as the concept that addressed present and provided for past shifts in
the racial and ethnic makeup of the United States. Faced with groups who did not fit into (the
recently challenged) white/black racial hierarchy but were deemed as distinct from that of (white)
US American culture, those natives of the United Statesneeded to find a new rhetoric and ideology
that could represent the new reality of the United States. In addition, many of those arriving in the
U.S. did not speak the same racial language as U.S. Americans i.e. they did not understand their
personal identities within the framework of U.S. racial relations.

Difference Between Dopamine And Serotonin
Difference between Dopamine and Serotonin
Dopamine is a neurotransmitter associated with the pleasure centers of the brain. It is responsible
for feelings related to love, joy, pleasure, reward and motivation. Serotonin is also a
neurotransmitter and helps to regulate mood, irritability, impulse, obsession and memory.
Regular physical activity is important for normal brain function and mental health. Sustained
exercise increases the level of serotonin in your brain and serotonin may play a key role in
preserving brain function. As you age, the amount of serotonin in your brain decreases, which this
is linked to an increase in depression.
Lifestyle Factors: Exercise can increase brain serotonin, even for older adults, suggesting that

A Research Project At Nasa
VII.COMMON PITFALLS
To illustrate some common pitfalls that can happen when using RM tools, I will take an example
of a project at NASA in which a misapplication of a RM tool caused major project overrun. In this
project, the requirements were decomposed into four levels. Level 1were the System level
requirements which were very high level requirements and rarely changed. Level 1 requirement
underwent several layers of decomposition to produce Level 2 requirements or the Allocated
requirements . Level 2 requirements were also high level and their change frequency was
minimal. Level 2 requirements were subdivided into greater detail to produce Level 3 or Derived
requirements . There was a bi directional linkage between Level 2 and ... Show more content on

They were requesting many changes in this schema and each was in isolation of the changes
requested by other organizations. Ultimately this went out of control with ineffective administration
and led to loss of data integrity, common information being self contained within each class and
corruption of established naming conventions as each organization customized their own classes.
There were also problems with the linkages between requirements. The project averaged 1500
requirements at Level 3, 6000 requirements at Level 4 and the total number of links between
these two classes averaged 19,000 links [13]. Since the project had a multiple class approach the
complexity of the linkages between these classes also grew extensively causing issues of
performance. When updating the database, major time delays were experienced. Some updates
took hours and keeping the database current was seen as a challenge. The RM tool became only a
medium of storage not because of its limitations but because of the way it was implemented [13].
So what are the important lessons to learn here?
Before implementing a RM tool it is good to understand its capabilities so that you know if it can
perform effectively over the lifetime of a project.
To implement a tool effectively, you should bring together engineers and database experts to design
a good schema for your requirements data at the

Worldview As A Person s Worldview
A person s worldview may not be my worldview, a person s worldview is individual to the
person. I would define worldview as a person s specific bias or opinion on topics that influence
how they look at the world and their surroundings from what is there to what is expected to be
there. Now that I have a definition of a worldview, what is a christian worldview? With the article,
A Christian Worldview, there are five points that make up a christian worldview. First, God exists
and the world was created by Him. Secondly, humans who fully believe in God has enjoyment to
look forward to after deathbecause they can be with God, but everyone has a soul and spirit to go
somewhere after they die. Third, science and metaphysics are not the only approach that
explains the big bang theory and everything that exists today. Fourth, epistemology is not the
only intellectuality that helps us perceive real senses. Last, there is a difference between
objective morality and subjective morality along with the Bible as a source for Christians to
follow God s will for our life (Drury 3). Likewise, with the five points to a person s worldview
and a christian worldview, terminally ill or extremely pained people end their life. Currently, there
are four states that passed a law stating under certain circumstances a person is legally allowed to
die with physician assisted suicide. The opponents state that people have the right to refuse life
prolonging treatment, but have no right to end their

The Agents Of The Transportation Security Administration
The agents of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) have become notorious for their
insolence and ludicrous actions during bag checks and screenings. TSA agents have been
known to cause many instances of harassment and other inconveniences to the average
passenger. A TSA agent once admitted that the first question to ask to anyone in a wheelchair is
if he is able to stand for a pat down search. If someone is in a wheelchair, it is likely that he is
unable to stand. Even when he is sitting, the TSA agent must ask him to move so that they can
check under his bottom ( Confessions of a TSA agent: we re all a bunch of airheads , 2013). The
TSA has caused inconveniences to passengers trying to board. Ashley Brant from Washington
D.C. was told she may not be able to return home after a TSA agent told her that her District of
Columbia ID was not valid because the TSA requires a state ID to board, and apparently, the U.S.
district does not count as a state (Davis, 2014). There have been many instances such as those,
resulting in the TSA becoming associated with absurd rules and incompetent employees. The TSA,
established November 19, 2001, as a direct result of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001,
was designed to fortify the security of the nation s transportation systems. The administration
consists of approximately 50,000 officers, inspectors, air marshals, and managers who are supposed

Myths, And Confusion Revolving Around The Newly Released...
Introduction
This paper attempts to dispel rumors, myths, and confusion revolving around the newly released
chip cards. These modern cards with microchips imbedded in them have been around since the
early 1990 s in France. Only until recently, October 1, 2015, have they become a standard in the
United States. Due to the numerous large scale financial card breaches affecting consumers and
retailers in since the year 2000, Target, Home Depot, TJX, and Heartland to name a few, the
financial institutions decided it was time to enhance security at point of sale (POS) terminals. This
self imposed security enhancement would come at a great cost to merchants who would have to

Rickenbacker s Accomplishments
Edward Vernon Rickenbacker, more commonly known as Eddie , was the third of eight children,
born to William and Elizabeth Rickenbacker in Columbus, Ohio on October 8, 1890. Just as
most adolescent boys, he went through a defiant stage. As a child, he was quite the delinquent,
for he began smoking at the age of 5 and often spent time with a group of ornery kids called the
Horsehead Gang. He was quickly whipped into shape by his father, however, who tragically died
at a construction site in 1904. Due to the absence of his father and the toll it took on his family,
Rickenbacker quit school at age 12 and brought it upon himself to assume the position as the
provider for his family. His longing for aviation did not start at this time, but during World War I

Even so, he made his impact on history during the 20th century through his many successes in aerial
warfare.
Rickenbacker had several odd jobs before finding work in the Frayer Miller Air Cooled Car
Company. From his job of testing cars he made his way into racing. Rickenbacker s fame started
before the first world war, as he became one of the most accomplished race car drivers of his time

Salt Lake City Olympic Winter Game Analysis
In 2002 the Winter Olympics were held in Salt Lake City, Utah. With this being the first winter
games held in the United States in over twenty years, they wanted to make it the best winter games
that the world has seen. With winning the bid over Sion, Г–stersund and Quebec City on June 16,
1995, this gave them seven years to plan the greatest winter Olympic gamesthat has ever been
played. Although during this bidding process there was some funny business going on with the Salt
Lake City bid team and the International Olympic Committeemembers. This ended up with ten
members of the International Olympic Committee resigning and also the Salt Lake City bid leaders
Tom Welch and Dave Johnson. This went down in history as one of the most controversial in the
light of the scandal (IOC, 2012).
To guarantee a legacy from the Salt Lake City 2002 Olympic Winter Games, the Utah Sports
Commission was set up to create both open recreational and elite game in the state. Since, Utah
has facilitated more than 50 World Cups occasions or real games titles. An expansion in games
support from youngsters was likewise noted, with games, for example, bobsleigh, skeleton,
snowboarding and freestyle and mogul skiing all seeing an upsurge in interest (IOC, 2012, p. 11).

Analysis Of The Kingdom Of Heaven
ANALYSIS OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN Lucas Castelo Branco HIST 2023 10/18/2017
The Kingdom of Heaven is an epic film directed and produced by Ridley Scott, and written by
William Monahan, filmed in Morocco. The story of the Kingdom of Heaven is set during the
Crusades of the 12th century, and is basically about the life of Balian, a French blacksmith, who
defends the Kingdom of Jerusalem against the Muslims and reclaims the city from the Christians.
In this story, I could travel back in time to experience life during the era of the Crusades and learn
more about the perspective of duty between the Christians and Muslims. To better understand the

Instead, the Crusades seek to reclaim what was originally theirs, no matter the cost. The
Crusades were a failure in their goal of conquering the Holy Land for Christians. They cost a lot
to the European nobility and resulted in thousands of deaths. Nevertheless, these expeditions
influenced great transformations in the medieval world. They have weakened feudal
aristocracy, strengthened royal power, and made possible the expansion of the market. Eastern
civilization contributed much to European cultural enrichment, promoting intellectual
development. Never again was Jerusalem dominated by Christians, but the movements on the
way to the Holy Land expanded relationships with the known world at the time. The first hour of
Kingdom of Heaven is decisive for the rest of the film. It is in these moments that we will meet
Balian, a blacksmith who is devastated after he lost his wife who had committed suicide. It is
important to say that suicide was considered to be an irredeemable sin, for example, the church
believed suicide was a road to hell. Balian has no prospects in life when he receives a visit from
Baron Godfrey of Ibelin. He introduces himself as Balian s father and invites him to become a
knight and defend Jerusalem, ruled by King Baldwin IV, who is a leper hidden behind a mask of
iron. Godfrey knows the difficult moment that Balian is going through, so he introduces him to
Jerusalem (presented in the film as the new world where love exists instead of hate, a

A Good Man Is Hard to Find by Flannery O’Connor Essay
In the short story A Good Man Is Hard to Find, written by Flannery O Connor, the theme that the
definition of a good man is mysterious and flawed is apparent. The reader must realize that it is
difficult to universalize the definition of a good man because every person goes through different
experiences. Thus, these experiences affect his or her viewpoint and in turn flaw ones view on a
good man. O Connor conveys this theme through her excellent use of diction, imagery,
foreshadowing, and symbolism as well as through a creative use of repetition and an omniscient
point of view. The grandmother, the main character of the story, is manipulative. Her definition of a
good man refers to the characteristics that a good man should possess.... Show more content on

She [the grandmother] pointed out interesting details of the scenery: Stone Mountain, the blue
granite that in some places came up to both sides of the highway; the brilliant red clay banks
slightly streaked with purple; and the various crops that made row of green lace work on the
ground. The trees were full of silver white sunlight and the meanest of them sparkled. (1286) She
uses informal diction to help achieve the targeted theme and her slight use of a southern dialect
is one brilliant component that helps her to do so. For example, when the family stops for
barbecue sandwiches along their way to Tennessee, the owner s wife compliments the
granddaughter. Ain t she cute? Red Sam s wife said, leaning over the counter. Would you like to
come be my little girl? (1287). Adding this southern twist of diction as well as the southern
setting helps to illustrate the culture the grandmother was raised in. This helps to bridge the gap
between what the reader s definition of a good man may be, based off of their cultural
upbringing, and the grandmother s definition of a good man. This gap reinforces the O Conner s
idea that there cannot be a universal definition of a good man. Imagery is used flawlessly in this
short story. O Connor uses descriptive adjectives fairly often to paint a picture in the reader s mind
and to add spice to her

Plato on Censorship
Since the rise of man, the concept of art has also arisen. With it, the goods and troubles it causes.
Some argue that art is good and is only entertainment, while others see it as the cause of a State s
corruption. In Plato s The Republic , Socrates thought that art should be censored because of its
heavy influence on men. Writer Alexander Nehamas, on the other hand, feels that one generation s
entertainment is the next s fine art, which he thinks is ridiculous to censor. But the biggest question
that remains is: when does art stop being art?
Platonic censorship is based mainly on excluding forms of art and literature from society, based on
the components they include that portray bad role models and blasphemies, topics not ... Show more

The fact is that the works of both Homer and Aeschylus, whatever else they were in classical
Athens, were, first and foremost, popular entertainment. (Nemaha, 3) Nemaha says that
entertainment was basically just a representation of their world. To compare the Iliad... to Grand
theft auto...may seem silly if not absurd (Nemaha, 4) Nehama restates that fine art is meant to
change people, and entertainment is just to please. Art should not be censored it allows us to
express ourselves, and a world without imagination would be a dull one, with depraved life .
My personal opinion is that art should NOT be censored. It is good to have bad art in order to
show the youth what is not acceptable and what is. This way we can create a better future for the
children without leaving them so hopelessly innocent minded. In another way, I think you should
not be able to label someone else s work as good or bad art. I, just like article writer Jeff Goins,
think, what is not okay is calling something art when it s not when it is, in fact, something else. (Jeff

people. They run the scale from economics to foreign policy to the overwhelming popular topic of

Film Analysis Of The Movie The Bride Of Frankenstein
Making a good movie is easy but making a great movie is hard. As I watched a short clip from
the movie The Bride of Frankenstein I watched how the acting, plot, lighting, camera work, and
script all made this film come to life. This movie was made in 1935 yet it is still so compelling
to watch because it is successful with the important components of a movie. The first thing I
noticed about the short clip was the lighting. As a photographer lighting is the most important
thing about pictures and films. I realized that the whole movie was very dark for the most part.
As I watched the short clip I saw harsh shadows on the background or on their faces which gave a
mysterious feeling. As a viewer it came off creepy, and kept thinking was something about to pop
out? The lighting was great when Pretorius says to Dr. FrankensteinYou are responsible for all the
murders, there is a dark shadow on Dr. Frankenstein. As for Pretorius it seems like he has a halo of
light around him. I have a feeling that the lightening in this conversation was intentional. Dr.
Frankenstein is looked down, dark, and evil because he murdered people. While in this same
conversation it seems like Pretorius is the good guy in this situation even though they both do not
seem very good. All in all, the lighting was very intentional. If they put soft/ airy lighting in this film
, I do not think the message would come across and it would not be as interesting than it was.

When he sees this he decides to stay by the river and asks the ferryman to become his assistant.
Now Siddhartha will learn what it means to travel between the world of the intellect and the world

The Mafia Argumentative Essay
It started out as a quiet day in my cobbler shop in Florence, Italy. Normal business, but then the
Mafia came bursting in and knocked all of my items over. They cornered me in my office and
demanded payment to continue selling. You see, in April, 1910, the Mafia had started taking over
the manufacturing industry. I didn t want to be a part of that. Fearing for my life and the life of my
family, I made the decision to purchase tickets for all of us to go on a ship that would take us
away. America has exceptional opportunities for us to have a better life, and I had an uncle in
America that we could live with.
Leaving my business behind, and taking what little money we had left, we left the rest of our

The Ethics Of Nonprofit Management
The main problem in the case as it relates to nonprofit management is trying to make a nonprofit
organization survive. Nonprofits are different than businesses and have to focus on two bottom
lines, surviving and fulfilling its mission. While Falender focused on surviving and making the
nonprofit one of the leading conservation nonprofits, he steered away from the original mission of
the organization. Falender s actions were based on financial motives rather than by social motives.
AMC did need a transformational leader to help get out of the financial crisis, however the values
that were a part of the original mission did not have to be compromised. Falender treated the

There are no clear cut goals and objectives on how to achieve the vision, nor detailed layouts on
what the role of chapter members are.
In nonprofit management, fundraising and volunteering plays an integral part. However, in the case
of AMC, there is no specific department set for fundraising. Even the Board Members are doubtful
when it comes to fundraising. Falender also did not use the volunteers in a creative manner that
would ensure their time at AMC is being used to its full potential.
Falender s Management Style
Falender s management style did not correlate with the organization s mission and culture properly.
The original mission of the organization was more community and people oriented. On the first
page, the case study reveals that the mission was essentially to bring people to realize the beauty of
true nature. This mission resulted in efforts towards recreation to ensure individuals gain the mental
and physical benefits from being outdoors. However, Falender changed the mission to focus more
on conservation efforts and financial efforts. How a problem is defined impacts what an
organization will use its resources, effort, and time on. Falender stated the problem as an
environmental and financial issue, and this allowed the organization to focus on solutions to
address that specific problem. This altered the mission statement of the organization as a whole and
even though the mission statement

Seven Things You Should Know About Introverts
Knowing about yourself is great, but knowing about others also can have its benefits. In the Article
Seven things Extroverts should know About introverts(and vice versa) by Psychologist Sophia
Dembling, it talks about the things that one should know about the other, specifically related to
introverts and extroverts. To clarify introverts are ones who normally keep to themselves, when
there s a party, they are the ones who are typically at home watching Netflix. While on the other
hand extroverts are the ones who are at the party, and most of the time always wanting to do
something and socialize. While each personalities are very different, each one has its own benefits.
Let s first start with what extroverts and should know about introverts. In the article, Dembling
mentions introverts don t need alone time because they don t like their friends, but because very
simply, they just need time to themselves, and time to regroup and relax. Additionally, she mentions
introverts don t sit quietly because they are judging anyone, but because they like to watch and
observe what others are saying and doing. I can relate to that one, as I catch myself doing that often.

feel like I can defend myself on this one. Even though I like to be alone, I love talking on the
phone and could do it for hours. In fact I m one of the ones who will walk around the house
doing the most weird things while talking on the phone. Also when talking about extroverts, she
states they aren t doing it to loosen you up, they normally mean well , this one I think it would
depend on what they are trying to get you to do. Because he activities they are trying to get you to
do may go against social norms or even the

Bad Thermocouple
It can be really unpleasant to get into the shower and realize that your water heater is no longer
producing hot water. Hot water is essential to a pleasant shower and is essential for keeping
things clean and sanitary in your home. A bad thermocouple is one of the more common
reasons for a gas water heater to stop producing hot water. Check For A Pilot Light The first
thing you need to do is check and see if the pilot light on your gas water heater is lit. The pilot
light is located near the bottom of your water heater. You should literally see a flame if the pilot
light on your gas water heater is working properly. If the pilot light is not lit, and you can t relight
it following the steps on your water heater, you are not going to get any hot water. A bad

It is a sensor that provides information to the gas valve on your gas water heater. It tells the gas
valve when and if it should release gas. It also tells it how much gas to release. The
thermocouple is attached directly to the gas valve on one end, and the other end is set up to
literally feel the heat from the pilot light. This allows the thermocouple to determine who much
heat is being produced and how much gas needs to be let out. Replacing The Thermocouple It is
easy to replace a thermocouple. First, you are going to want to turn off the gas to your water
heater. You should never work on your gas water heater when gas is running to it. Take off the
cover that goes over the burner compartment. Then take apart the gas tubes that are attached to
the burner assembly. All you need to do now is replace the thermocouple on the burner unit, but
it back in place, turn the gas back on and see if you can get the pilot light to work again. The
thermocouple basically just needs to be pulled off and the new one inserted in its place. If this
doesn t fix your hot water issues, you may want to bring in a water repair expert to help you fix

Fate Vs Free Will In Macbeth Essay
Yanira Soto
English IV
Mrs. Crockett
February 3, 2016
To kill or not to kill The play, Macbeth, was written by William Shakespeare in 1606. This
performance is one of the most fascinating plays by Shakespeare. It was a royal entertainment made
to praise King James I. This enchanting play has many themes throughout the story. Fate vs. Free
will is one of the many points faced in the theater piece. While Macbeth had the ability to ignore
the prophecy, he chose to kill the king. In return, he became the ruler and suffered the same fate as
his victim. Since the prophecies of the witches came true, Macbeth chose to murder those who
learned of his skull doggery, and Macbeth was forced to kill them. Furthermore, fate is the events
that are predetermined. In this play, Macbeth murders King Duncan and he later encounters his
own death. (Cain, Murderous Thinking In Macbeth pg. 255 263). observes, We know that
Macbeth must be killed even as, at the end, we may find ourselves hoping that this murderer will
escape the death he deserves. In no other play does Shakespeare allow us to think like this of a
murderer. In this case, Macbeth gets a taste of his own blood. He dies at the end, so he practically
experiences his own destiny. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
On Act 2, Lady Macbeth calls Macbeth a coward. She tells him that he is not a man because he
does not want to kill King Duncan. (Shakespeare, William. Act 2 / Macbeth. British Literature. pg.

This explains that Macbeth s viewpoints changed dramatically because he thought he would not
have to do anything to become king. In other words, he would have to go through a killing spree in
order to become the king of Scotland. Furthermore, he became excited because he was going to
become king so he decided to rush things. When this occurs, Macbeth then takes the action on

Essay On Why Cats Are Better Pets Than Dogs
Cats are not better pets than dogs. Have you ever had that intriguing question about whether you
should get a dog or a cat as your new family member. Here are some reasons why you should
always choose to adopt a new dog, not a new cat. You will get more exercise from owning a dog.
When I go outside to bike, often my mom will follow me to get our dogexercise, but this technique
will help my mom in the long run, because even if her motive is to wear my dog out, she s also
getting exercise and getting healthier. Dogingtonpost says it is recommended that you walk
your dog at least 15 minutes, twice a day. Mayoclinic says to aim for at least 30 minutes of
physical activity every day. These two times equal each other so if you walk your dog for the
necessary amount each day, then you yourself will also get the necessary amount of exercise
daily. Dogs are a lot easier to train. When dogs were first bred as wild animals they would follow
their pack leader, when domesticated their leader becomes their human. When you train a dog it
becomes bonded to you, but cats, not so much. Cats are more independent when it comes to
relationships. Because cats have no notion of duty, service, or pack behaviour. In other words,
doing something for the sake of something else, or someone else, than themselves. Says Nuno
Desa. Dogs come in more shapes and sizes. Whether you are looking for a big dog, a small dog, a

Another situation that shows the isolation of this area is described in the article when Judge
McElroy came into office and decided to venture all the way out to Snow Lake. As he drove into
the town he was immediately flagged down by a citizen and questioned, he was then instructed
to leave immediately. This type of action would not be anywhere close to normal in a city or any
sort of large town. It really could only happen at Snow Lake. Snow Lake is obviously very isolated
because of its distance from a larger town but it is also very isolated due to its geographic location.
Snow Lake is located in Desha County; however, Elaine, Marvell, and Helena West Helena are all a
part of Phillips County. This is because Snow Lake is in the North Eastern part of Desha County
that is cut off from the main portion by rivers. No bridges have been built to connect Snow Lake

Improved ETL and enterprise application integration tools have increased the timely collecting of
data. OLAP reporting technologies have allowed faster generation of new reports which analyze the

besides the satisfying effect of fictional food, Hansel and Gretel already hints at a more negative

Especially evangelical discourses demanded dieting to resist the temptation of sins like gluttony

the partly lethal food alterations of nineteenth century England, led to a rising number of didactic
tales about right and wrong food (ibid. 93). According to Daniel, the detailed and stimulating

convinced Henri de Valfort to accept to be the 4th hand , and they were now, playing bridge with
SantГ©glise and Saturnin Valloix. The Baron was watching them with a detached interest.
Holding a glass of cognac in his hand, he stood in front of the table, on the Dummy s side. When
he saw me enter, he put down the glass on the nearby pedestal table which occupied a corner of
the room, then, he looked at his watch (mine indicated 11:30 PM), and he came over to speak to
me. Ah! Morsirisse! So! Did you see anything? Not a soul. Your father in law can relax. No one s
marauding on the premises. Merci, Morsirisse, he said. What you need now is a good cognac to
warm you up. Indeed. Has Г‰tienne finally found the NapolГ©on 98 ? I asked. The Baron de
Valfort looked at me with an expression on his face,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With your permission, I ll speak to Г‰tienne, I said. I will get the bottom of it, I promise you.
The Baron was still uncertain about what to do. A doubt was casting a shadow over his
forehead. Fortunately, this hesitation was of short duration, and, shaking his worries away, he
grabbed my arm, laughing. Come on, Morsirisse! Let s rejoin the ladies. They have already
complained that I am monopolizing you. I acquiesced, but as I followed him, I still mulled over
this incident which was adding its mystery to a situation already sufficiently complicated in
itself. I could not help feeling guilty for merely suspecting my best and only friend. However,
everything evaporated, when I realized that the Baronne de Valfort was smiling at me. Where
have you been, Monsieur Morsirisse, she asked, before I even had a chance to come close. I wasn t
very far, Madame, I answered. I was watching the

Normally the communication begins with the sender who has a thought or an information source.
The company use different tools to send information namely email, telephone, intercom, etc.
Encoding:The employees in Hirdaramani use their knowledge to translate the thought into
computer language. They believe thatthe language is very important that the sender must select the
appropriate language that the receiver can understand easily. But whereas if the sender uses a
different language and some uncommon words then it would be a barrier to the receiver to
understand the message.
Channel: channel means the media used to transmit to the receiver. It is important that the

Tina Belcher s Subculture Hat
The subculture hat I have chosen to explore is one that I have taken part in before, cosplay! I
have dressed up as Tina Belcher from Bob s Burgers and am currently planning a Dr. Strange
costume for myself. I have been to Comic Cons before usually as an admirer of those in costume.
Cosplay which is short for costume play allows an individual to basically be someone else,
typically an anime, cartoon, or even video game characters to name a few. Along with the costume
they take on that character s personality and role play as them. Some will make the costumes
themselves while others will buy pre made ones. There is quite the amount of work and dedication
that goes into doing this, not just for the sake of the costume looking accurate but the

  • 2. Hitler s New Man Upon achieving power in 1933, Hitler and the Nazi state began to implement increasingly severe measures aimed at segregating and ultimately removing the Jewish people from Germany and eventually all of Europe. Hitler s further achievement was to create the new man. However, meanwhile the creation of Hitler s new man was giving Germany a sense of destiny, the Jewish life was being constricted and erased. But what exactly was this idea of a new man? The ultimate attitude behind this new achievement was to further purify the Aryan race. One of the first steps towards purity were the Aryan passports, but these were just the beginning of a much broader effort or revolution for Germans to accept their racial responsibilities. Genetic cultivation... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The second law established who would be granted full political and civic rights and those who would now be deprived of them. Citizenship rights were to be granted to those who were citizens of the Reich, which were only individuals classified as being of German or related blood , therefore Jews were excluded from any and all citizenship rights becoming state subjects, essentially making them foreigners in their own country. Kristallnacht refers to Jewish pogroms that took place in 1938. These attacks took place against synagogues, Jewish owned businesses, other Jewish establishments, and Jewish citizens in general. This was also the start to organized Nazi attacks, and the mass incarceration of the Jews. There was no clear Instructions on how to execute the violence, so it caused the destroying of Jewish property and inhumane treatment of Jewish people. Kristallnacht essentially became the turning point in the Nazis persecution of the Jewish people. It expanded the efforts to removed Jews from German economics and social life. Kristallnacht and the events that followed essentially showed the Nazi regime that they can count on the nationwide support of anti Semitism from the general public. This showed the Nazis that they can easily move forward with their plans without a lot of opposition ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Golden Time Research Paper Golden Time The first time I stepped out of one reality and into one consisting only of a stretch of desert was in 2009. It was staggering. I felt a path being paved ahead of me. Not a road, but an everlasting guide to the way of life. The way to live a life. The waves of sand, holding this universe together, trampled my feet as I took each step further into this world of golden time. A new time zone. One in which time was measured by a sequence of dry, quiet sounds. The wind and the grains of sand synchronized to create a mirage of a tissue paper; I felt it cleanse me of the burdens my previous reality held. Thoughts began to float in my tumultuous mind. Quite often I would wonder how such a place could carry the stories of a million lives, and whether I would ever find my place among them. Each consecutive step I took presented me with ... To this day, I remember the moment I finally recognized the insignificance of the continuous worries that permeated my previous reality. I learned what holds true worth. Hundreds of lustrous stars appeared before my eyes, shimmering at me like the never before existing eighth wonder of the world. I felt as though my sense of direction had been restored, the stars lighting the path the sand was paving for me. Together, they gave me hope. What one may see as tragedies buried layer by layer beneath my resilient feet, I saw as delicate Saharan teachers. It is a desolate maze built to a perfect ratio of land and water, that challenges its contenders, breaking them down to simply build them back up. It is a test of courage. • 4. The Problem Of Chest Pain Since most people in our society consider chest pain to be of a cardiac origin, pediatric chest pain can not only be scary the child, but can also cause anxiety for the parents due to the fear of their child s condition. Luckily, many causes of chest pain are usually benign and rarely can be a sign of cardiac disease. With this in mind, providers should complete a preliminary evaluation for chest pain, decide on differential diagnoses, and than develop an appropriate plan. Providers should also be aware of the most likely causes of chest pain in children, which include reactive airway disease, musculoskeletal pain, esophagitis, gastritis, and functional pain (Hay, Levin, Deterding, Abzug, 2014). Will all of those in mind, by far the most common cause in children is chest pain from a musculoskeletal injury. The initial evaluation should include a detailed history and physical examination to help guide the provider to the proper workup, and rarely is there a need for laboratory tests or evaluation by a specialist (Hay, Levin, Deterding, Abzug, 2014). First finding out when the pain started, last month, last year, and so forth, will be of high importance, then once a time frame is establish, details about the most recent episode should be obtained. The provider should ask how long the pain lasted, what made it better, made it worse, and then move on to what brought on the pain, with arm movement, breathing, dizziness, particular activity and so forth. Once the cause ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It is in this context of new immigration and the upheaval of the Civil Rights movement that multiculturalism was chosen as the concept that addressed present and provided for past shifts in the racial and ethnic makeup of the United States. Faced with groups who did not fit into (the recently challenged) white/black racial hierarchy but were deemed as distinct from that of (white) US American culture, those natives of the United Statesneeded to find a new rhetoric and ideology that could represent the new reality of the United States. It is responsible for feelings related to love, joy, pleasure, reward and motivation. Serotonin is also a neurotransmitter and helps to regulate mood, irritability, impulse, obsession and memory. Regular physical activity is important for normal brain function and mental health. Sustained exercise increases the level of serotonin in your brain and serotonin may play a key role in preserving brain function. As you age, the amount of serotonin in your brain decreases, which this is linked to an increase in depression. A Research Project At Nasa VII.COMMON PITFALLS To illustrate some common pitfalls that can happen when using RM tools, I will take an example of a project at NASA in which a misapplication of a RM tool caused major project overrun. In this project, the requirements were decomposed into four levels. Level 1were the System level requirements which were very high level requirements and rarely changed. Level 1 requirement underwent several layers of decomposition to produce Level 2 requirements or the Allocated requirements . Level 2 requirements were also high level and their change frequency was minimal. Level 2 requirements were subdivided into greater detail to produce Level 3 or Derived requirements . They were requesting many changes in this schema and each was in isolation of the changes requested by other organizations. Ultimately this went out of control with ineffective administration and led to loss of data integrity, common information being self contained within each class and corruption of established naming conventions as each organization customized their own classes. There were also problems with the linkages between requirements. The project averaged 1500 requirements at Level 3, 6000 requirements at Level 4 and the total number of links between these two classes averaged 19,000 links [13]. Since the project had a multiple class approach the complexity of the linkages between these classes also grew extensively causing issues of performance. When updating the database, major time delays were experienced. Some updates took hours and keeping the database current was seen as a challenge. The RM tool became only a medium of storage not because of its limitations but because of the way it was implemented [13]. So what are the important lessons to learn here? Before implementing a RM tool it is good to understand its capabilities so that you know if it can perform effectively over the lifetime of a project. To implement a tool effectively, you should bring together engineers and database experts to design a good schema for your requirements data at the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. Worldview As A Person s Worldview A person s worldview may not be my worldview, a person s worldview is individual to the person. I would define worldview as a person s specific bias or opinion on topics that influence how they look at the world and their surroundings from what is there to what is expected to be there. Now that I have a definition of a worldview, what is a christian worldview? With the article, A Christian Worldview, there are five points that make up a christian worldview. First, God exists and the world was created by Him. Secondly, humans who fully believe in God has enjoyment to look forward to after deathbecause they can be with God, but everyone has a soul and spirit to go somewhere after they die. Third, science and metaphysics are not the only approach that explains the big bang theory and everything that exists today. Fourth, epistemology is not the only intellectuality that helps us perceive real senses. Last, there is a difference between objective morality and subjective morality along with the Bible as a source for Christians to follow God s will for our life (Drury 3). Likewise, with the five points to a person s worldview and a christian worldview, terminally ill or extremely pained people end their life. • 9. The Agents Of The Transportation Security Administration The agents of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) have become notorious for their insolence and ludicrous actions during bag checks and screenings. TSA agents have been known to cause many instances of harassment and other inconveniences to the average passenger. A TSA agent once admitted that the first question to ask to anyone in a wheelchair is if he is able to stand for a pat down search. If someone is in a wheelchair, it is likely that he is unable to stand. Even when he is sitting, the TSA agent must ask him to move so that they can check under his bottom ( Confessions of a TSA agent: we re all a bunch of airheads , 2013). The TSA has caused inconveniences to passengers trying to board. Ashley Brant from Washington D.C. was told she may not be able to return home after a TSA agent told her that her District of Columbia ID was not valid because the TSA requires a state ID to board, and apparently, the U.S. district does not count as a state (Davis, 2014). There have been many instances such as those, resulting in the TSA becoming associated with absurd rules and incompetent employees. The TSA, established November 19, 2001, as a direct result of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, was designed to fortify the security of the nation s transportation systems. These modern cards with microchips imbedded in them have been around since the early 1990 s in France. Only until recently, October 1, 2015, have they become a standard in the United States. Due to the numerous large scale financial card breaches affecting consumers and retailers in since the year 2000, Target, Home Depot, TJX, and Heartland to name a few, the financial institutions decided it was time to enhance security at point of sale (POS) terminals. This self imposed security enhancement would come at a great cost to merchants who would have to upgrade their POS terminals and to the financial card companies who ... The government has a certain role to play, but they don t believe that they are in the position, necessarily, to dictate how an industry, the card industry, is to move forward... (Kitten, 2011). • 11. Rickenbacker s Accomplishments Edward Vernon Rickenbacker, more commonly known as Eddie , was the third of eight children, born to William and Elizabeth Rickenbacker in Columbus, Ohio on October 8, 1890. Just as most adolescent boys, he went through a defiant stage. As a child, he was quite the delinquent, for he began smoking at the age of 5 and often spent time with a group of ornery kids called the Horsehead Gang. He was quickly whipped into shape by his father, however, who tragically died at a construction site in 1904. Due to the absence of his father and the toll it took on his family, Rickenbacker quit school at age 12 and brought it upon himself to assume the position as the provider for his family. His longing for aviation did not start at this time, but during World War I . Even so, he made his impact on history during the 20th century through his many successes in aerial warfare. Instead, the Crusades seek to reclaim what was originally theirs, no matter the cost. The Crusades were a failure in their goal of conquering the Holy Land for Christians. They cost a lot to the European nobility and resulted in thousands of deaths. Nevertheless, these expeditions influenced great transformations in the medieval world. They have weakened feudal aristocracy, strengthened royal power, and made possible the expansion of the market. Eastern civilization contributed much to European cultural enrichment, promoting intellectual development. Never again was Jerusalem dominated by Christians, but the movements on the way to the Holy Land expanded relationships with the known world at the time. The first hour of Kingdom of Heaven is decisive for the rest of the film. It is in these moments that we will meet Balian, a blacksmith who is devastated after he lost his wife who had committed suicide. It is important to say that suicide was considered to be an irredeemable sin, for example, the church believed suicide was a road to hell. Balian has no prospects in life when he receives a visit from Baron Godfrey of Ibelin. He introduces himself as Balian s father and invites him to become a knight and defend Jerusalem, ruled by King Baldwin IV, who is a leper hidden behind a mask of iron. A Good Man Is Hard to Find by Flannery O’Connor Essay In the short story A Good Man Is Hard to Find, written by Flannery O Connor, the theme that the definition of a good man is mysterious and flawed is apparent. The reader must realize that it is difficult to universalize the definition of a good man because every person goes through different experiences. Thus, these experiences affect his or her viewpoint and in turn flaw ones view on a good man. O Connor conveys this theme through her excellent use of diction, imagery, foreshadowing, and symbolism as well as through a creative use of repetition and an omniscient point of view. The grandmother, the main character of the story, is manipulative. Her definition of a good man refers to the characteristics that a good man should possess.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... She [the grandmother] pointed out interesting details of the scenery: Stone Mountain, the blue granite that in some places came up to both sides of the highway; the brilliant red clay banks slightly streaked with purple; and the various crops that made row of green lace work on the ground. The trees were full of silver white sunlight and the meanest of them sparkled. (1286) She uses informal diction to help achieve the targeted theme and her slight use of a southern dialect is one brilliant component that helps her to do so. For example, when the family stops for barbecue sandwiches along their way to Tennessee, the owner s wife compliments the granddaughter. Ain t she cute? Red Sam s wife said, leaning over the counter. Would you like to come be my little girl? (1287). Adding this southern twist of diction as well as the southern setting helps to illustrate the culture the grandmother was raised in. This helps to bridge the gap between what the reader s definition of a good man may be, based off of their cultural upbringing, and the grandmother s definition of a good man. This gap reinforces the O Conner s idea that there cannot be a universal definition of a good man. Imagery is used flawlessly in this short story. O Connor uses descriptive adjectives fairly often to paint a picture in the reader s mind and to add spice to her ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This movie was made in 1935 yet it is still so compelling to watch because it is successful with the important components of a movie. The first thing I noticed about the short clip was the lighting. As a photographer lighting is the most important thing about pictures and films. I realized that the whole movie was very dark for the most part. As I watched the short clip I saw harsh shadows on the background or on their faces which gave a mysterious feeling. As a viewer it came off creepy, and kept thinking was something about to pop out? The lighting was great when Pretorius says to Dr. FrankensteinYou are responsible for all the murders, there is a dark shadow on Dr. Frankenstein. As for Pretorius it seems like he has a halo of light around him. I have a feeling that the lightening in this conversation was intentional. Dr. Frankenstein is looked down, dark, and evil because he murdered people. While in this same conversation it seems like Pretorius is the good guy in this situation even though they both do not seem very good. All in all, the lighting was very intentional. If they put soft/ airy lighting in this film , I do not think the message would come across and it would not be as interesting than it was. Acting and script go hand on hand ... This performance is one of the most fascinating plays by Shakespeare. It was a royal entertainment made to praise King James I. This enchanting play has many themes throughout the story. Fate vs. Free will is one of the many points faced in the theater piece. While Macbeth had the ability to ignore the prophecy, he chose to kill the king. In return, he became the ruler and suffered the same fate as his victim. Since the prophecies of the witches came true, Macbeth chose to murder those who learned of his skull doggery, and Macbeth was forced to kill them. When I go outside to bike, often my mom will follow me to get our dogexercise, but this technique will help my mom in the long run, because even if her motive is to wear my dog out, she s also getting exercise and getting healthier. Dogingtonpost says it is recommended that you walk your dog at least 15 minutes, twice a day. Mayoclinic says to aim for at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day. When dogs were first bred as wild animals they would follow their pack leader, when domesticated their leader becomes their human. When you train a dog it becomes bonded to you, but cats, not so much. Cats are more independent when it comes to relationships. Because cats have no notion of duty, service, or pack behaviour. This type of action would not be anywhere close to normal in a city or any sort of large town. It really could only happen at Snow Lake. Snow Lake is obviously very isolated because of its distance from a larger town but it is also very isolated due to its geographic location. Snow Lake is located in Desha County; however, Elaine, Marvell, and Helena West Helena are all a part of Phillips County. This is because Snow Lake is in the North Eastern part of Desha County that is cut off from the main portion by rivers. No bridges have been built to connect Snow Lake to the main part of Desha County due to the few people that would benefit from the large cost and effort. Instead, when Snow Lakers wish to visit central Desha County they must endure a two and a half hour drive that covers over one hundred and thirty five miles and four different Arkansas counties. The article says that while Judge McElroy does drive this distance he prefers to fly there as it only takes twenty minutes and is one hundred miles shorter by air. Snow Lakers seldom must drive this distance; however, some situations might require a visit to a courthouse or a revenue office and driving the distance may ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In the Middle East the the traditional meal includes rice with soup or sauce, and accompanied by lamb and vegetables (Culture of Iraq 4). Traditionally in Iraq, having an arranged marriage at a young age was a standard procedure. As of roles in the family, girls were mostly taught to take after the roles of their mothers, which was to take care of the household. On the other hand boys were taught to be hard working and dominate. In Iraq, their schools teach children about religion and were very strict. A critical factor in everyday life for them is to hold values and claim responsibility for themselves and their families. The majority of Iraqis practice the Muslim religion but there is still a small percentage of Iraqis that practice the Christian religion. In fairy tales, as well as in their medieval oral origins, the lack of food is especially prominent (ibid. 62). In the Brothers Grimm version of Hansel and Gretel, famine is the reason for the woodcutter to abandon his children, but after the witch s death the siblings find precious jewellery providing enough wealth not to suffer starvation again . Fairy tales often promised plenty of food to satisfy hunger (ibid. 62 3); a mere fantasy which was supposed to satiate the reader s appetite in literature since it often could not be satisfied in their everyday life. But besides the satisfying effect of fictional food, Hansel and Gretel already hints at a more negative approach to food. The siblings are tempted by the witch s house consisting of bread and sweets. Especially evangelical discourses demanded dieting to resist the temptation of sins like gluttony or sloth (Labbe 94). Also the required dining etiquette of the increasing middle class, as well as the partly lethal food alterations of nineteenth century England, led to a rising number of didactic tales about right and wrong food (ibid. 93). According to Daniel, the detailed and stimulating descriptions of food in children s literature are a meant to seduce the child reader to swallow the bitter pill of ...
