A study to find the problems related
with day to day classroom management
and their possible solutions
: Areas addressed :
• Availability and utilization of physical and non-
physical teaching aids at a teachers’ disposal
• Ways to tackle attention deficit in students
• Impact of teachers’ personality on the
classroom environment
• Best pedagogical approach in the classroom
environment.
:Process of identification of problems:
• Observation of students behaviour
• Discussion with colleagues
• Survey and questionnaire
• Self contemplation
Unique implementable strategies to address
the concerns:
• Find out effectiveness of a teachers’ teaching
through feedback from students and parents
• Periodic observation of classes by experts
• Change in classroom setup like sitting plan &
the furniture
• Change in pedagogical approach in teaching
different subjects and topics depending on
need and resource availability
• The existing teachers should be updated in
tackling with common problem in classroom
environment apart from course content.
• Follow up should be there after such training
to find effectiveness of such training.
: Expected tangible benefits of the
above strategies :
• Better utilization of working hours i.e.,
increased productivity by teachers.
• Teachers with better grip over classroom
management and pedagogical approach can
be utilized in different fields in school
• Increased attention span and interest of
students in the class
• Better output in the student achievement
level in form of academic and co-curricular
achievement
• Identification of individual strength of
students
