This document discusses the dynamic analysis of a bionic arm designed in CATIA V5 software. The bionic arm prototype was converted to a standard tessellation language (.stp) file and imported into ANSYS software for structural analysis. Parameters like maximum deformation, stresses, strains, velocities, and accelerations were calculated. Different materials were analyzed to optimize parameters such as reduced weight, lower friction, and increased strength. The analysis found the deformation, stresses, and strains developed in the hand. The document concludes that bionics can help amputees by replacing lost body parts and discusses material selection considerations for prosthetics.
