The four documents that are mandatory for the signup process for you as a seller are -
Cancelled cheque
PAN card
Store address proof
GST certificate
3. What are the documents needed for the signup process?
Cancelled cheque
• Scanned copy of a blank cancelled cheque with Name
either printed/Company Stamp/hand written. The
same should be without any overwriting or corrections.
• In case of handwritten name or company stamp on the
cheque, it should be supported with the bank
passbook with bank stamp or the bank mandate form
with bank stamp and bank signatories
• In absence of a cancelled cheque, a declaration letter
from the bank with the bank details mentioned on the
bank letterhead with the signature and stamp of the
authorized bank signatory can be considered
• The bank statement will not be considered for as a
valid document
4. What are the documents needed for the signup process?
PAN card
• The PAN card should be on the company name. However, in case of
a sole proprietor, it can be on the seller name
• A scanned copy of the PAN card is mandatory for verification
• A photocopy/online snapshot of the PAN card will not be
considered
5. What are the documents needed for the signup process?
Store address proof
• The address proof is a document that is required to verify your
company/warehouse address details
• Only the scanned copy of the GSTIN, Electricity/Telephone bill, Certificate
of Incorporation, Municipal corporation certificate, lease agreement,
Aadhaar card, driving license on the company name will be considered
• In case of a sole proprietor, the company address proof can be on the
seller name
• The electricity bill/telephone bill should not be more than 3 months old
6. What are the documents needed for the signup process?
GSTIN
• It should be on your company name. However, in case
of sole proprietorship, it can be on the seller name
• The PAN number included in the GSTIN submitted by
the seller is the same as the PAN card number
submitted by the seller
• The taxpayer type should be Regular and the status
should be Active on the Govt. GSTIN portal
• It should be of the same state in which your
warehouse is situated
7. A few more tips to avoid document rejection……
Do not share unregistered GSTIN details
Do not share blurred images of the documents. Always share the documents
in the correct format (JPEG/PNG/PDF)
The details should not mismatch in correspondence to the supporting documents
The saving account’s cancelled cheque should always have the company
name printed/stamp
