3. What are the documents needed for the signup process?
The four documents that are mandatory for the signup process for you as a seller are -
Cancelled cheque
PAN card
Company and warehouse address proof
GST certificate

4. What are the documents needed for the signup process?
Cancelled cheque
Description
• Only a scanned copy of a blank cancelled cheque on the company name will be taken to verify the bank details
• The cancelled cheque is to be provided with the Name - either printed/company stamp/handwritten
• In case of handwritten name or company stamp on the cheque, it should be supported with the bank passbook with bank stamp or the bank mandate
form with the signature and stamp of the authorized bank signatory
• In case of absence of a cancelled cheque, a declaration letter from the bank with the bank details mentioned on the bank letterhead with the
signature and stamp of the authorized bank signatory can be considered
• The bank statement will not be considered for as a valid document
• No overwriting or correction on the cheque should be there
5. Remember these points to avoid document rejection!
We accept the cancelled cheque image if:
• Beneficiary name, Account no., and IFSC code are all printed on it

If these are not printed, we accept the cancelled cheque image if:
• the bank’s declaration/passbook with authorized signature and stamp of the bank is shared along with the cancelled cheque

8. What are the documents needed for the signup process?
PAN card
Description
• PAN stands for Permanent Account Number. It is mandatory for making financial transactions
• The PAN card should be on the company name. However, in case of a sole proprietor, it can be on the seller name
• A scanned copy of the PAN card is mandatory for verification
• A photocopy/online snapshot of the PAN card will not be considered
9. Remember these points to avoid document rejection!
We accept PAN card image when it is :
• Clear/Not blurred
• Scanned copy of the original document
We reject the PAN card image if :
• You share a copy which is blurred or is a scanned copy of the photocopy
of the PAN card
• You share the online snapshot of your PAN card

10. What are the documents needed for the signup process?
Company address proof
Description
• The address proof is a document that is required to verify your company address details
• Only the scanned copy of the GSTIN, Electricity/Telephone bill, Certificate of Incorporation, Municipal corporation certificate, lease agreement, Aadhaar
card, driving license on the company name will be considered
• In case of a sole proprietor, the company address proof can be on the seller name
• The electricity bill/telephone bill should not be more than 3 months old
11. What are the documents needed for the signup process?
Warehouse address proof
Description
• The Warehouse address proof is a document required to verify your warehouse address details
• In case the warehouse is in a different state, the GSTIN certificate of the new warehouse state must be provided
• However, in case of the exempted categories, the seller can provide the electricity/telephone bill, Rent/lease agreement, Certificate of Incorporation and
Municipal corporation certificate
• The electricity bill/telephone bill should not be more than 3 months old
12. Remember these points to avoid document rejection!
We accept documents when you share the:
Copy of the Aadhar card (both sides) Registered GSTIN Electricity Bill mentioning

We reject the documents if :
• You share the VAT, TIN, Tax invoice, Provisional GSTIN with us
• In case you provide the scanned one-sided copy of the Voter ID card or the Aadhaar card with the name mentioned on it
• You share a self-declaration form or bank passbook
• In case you are not a sole proprietor and have shared the documents on someone else’s name (other than the company name)

20. What are the documents needed for the signup process?
GSTIN
Description
• GSTIN stands for the Goods & Services Tax Identification Number needed from every seller for registration to sell his products online
• It is mandatory to provide the GSTIN
• It should be on your company name. However, in case of sole proprietorship, it can be on the seller name
21. Remember these points to avoid document rejection!
We accept GSTIN details when :
• The PAN number in the GSTIN submitted by the seller is the same as the PAN card number submitted by the seller
• The taxpayer type should be Regular and the status should be Active on the Govt. GSTIN portal
• It should be of the same state in which your warehouse is situated
22. Remember these points to avoid document rejection!
We reject the documents if :
• The taxpayer type is other than Regular and/or the status is other than Active on the Govt GSTIN portal

• The PAN number in the GSTIN number submitted by the seller is different than the PAN card number submitted by the seller

24. A few more tips to avoid document rejection……
Do not share unregistered GSTIN details
Do not share blurred images of the documents. Always share the
documents in the correct format (JPEG/PNG/PDF)
The details should not mismatch in correspondence to the supporting documents
The saving account’s cancelled cheque should always have the company
name printed/stamp
26. How to register with Paytm Mall?
To register as a seller with Paytm Mall, visit ‘seller.paytm.com’ and follow these steps -
Read the instructions carefully Click on Sell on Paytm
Note – It is preferable to use the Google chrome browser to sign up and login to the Paytm Mall seller panel

It is mandatory to register on Paytm.com first to get registered as a seller on Paytm Mall

Click on Login Securely

registering on Paytm.com

The OTP will be shared on your mobile number and email ID
Note - The OTP will be sent to your email ID only if you didn’t provide your email ID while registering on paytm.com
