The combination of the main product and ancillary texts is effective because they use consistent elements that relate to the genre of music by Tenacious D. The same font is used throughout, the album cover appears in the magazine advert, and symbols, colors, and themes across the digipack, advert, and music video all convey the genre and emotions expressed in the band's music.

have used the same font for all
parts of the project. We have
done this as it relates well to
the genre of music Tenacious D
create and links it all together.

3. Another similarity is that the album cover
was also used within the magazine advert,
this linked the two documents together

4. Another big similarity between each media project is that they all relate
to the genre that Tenacious D is. Within the digipack the hand symbol is
used which is a clear indication of the genre of music the album is about,
the advert uses greys and black which relate to this genre and the story
within the music video expressing anger, emotion also does this which
shows how these three are similar as they all show the genre we were
trying to show before listening to the music that goes with it.
