1. The document describes the design and simulation of a multipurpose automator device. The automator is intended to be attached to wheelchairs and small carts to help power their movement and reduce strain on users.
2. Key calculations are shown for determining the necessary motor torque and battery capacity based on the expected load of a wheelchair or cart. Dimensions are also analyzed from real wheelchairs.
3. The proposed design involves a chassis with a handle, perpendicular support arm, and wheel plate that can be detachably fixed to wheelchairs and carts using an adjustable fixture frame. This is intended to allow independent mobility while reducing physical demands.

Transportation has become an integral part of people’s everyday life. At certain times, in large countries like India, people are forced to travel more than 200 km from their work place to their place of residence. People with disabilities in lower extremities and hands have difficulties in travelling and cannot travel these long distances. They use devices such as wheel chair, crutches and artificial limbs for mobility. These however cannot be used for long distance outdoor transportation. Therefore, the aim of this study is to design and fabricate ‘Foot operated system’ for armless people.
Traditional manual wheelchairs require considerable use and control of both arms for operation, thus adaptations are required for individuals with asymmetrical use of their arms. Building upon previous projects, the goal of this project was to create an accessory, to be installed on a standard wheelchair, which would allow full control of the wheelchair with only one arm/hand while addressing areas lacking in commercial products and previous designs, such as manufacture ability, attendant control, user comfort and ergonomics. After preliminary testing and analysis of three one-arm propulsion designs, the project team developed a design for a removable, lever-operated accessory which could be adapted to fit a range of the most popular standard wheelchair models. The propulsion system, connected to the main lever by a coupler link, consists of a dual gear-pawl assembly in which the desired direction of motion is chosen by moving a shifter to engage one of the two gears press-fit around clutches, each of which allows motion in only one direction, either forward or reverse. By including a neutral pawl position in which neither clutch is engaged, this design allows an attendant to propel and control the chair.

ERGONOMIC EVALUATION OF LAWN MOWER OPERATION FOR COMFORT IN RIVERS STATE, NIG...IAEME Publication
In this study a favorable relationship between Lawn mower, environment and the operator’s comfort is examined. An anthropometric survey was conducted to determine the anthropometric data in order to reduce stresses of the lawn mower operators in Rivers State, Nigeria. To achieve this, measurements of randomly selected 10 mower operators within ages of 21 to 45 including students both males and females were taken and the parameters were analyzed. The results of the 5th and 9th percentile were discussed. The average age of operator was 38 years, body weight was 67 kg, functional leg height was 846 mm, Arm reach length was 558 mm and Chest expansion was 380 mm. The average comfort rating from 10 points scales for 5th and 95th percentile were 8.3 and 9.1 respectively for comfortable operations. These values when strictly adhered to by the designer will ensure comfort ability and reduce physical stress of lawn mower operators

Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions.
