I came in today feeling slightly defeated from yesterday. I love Jamie s training approach, it matches
my learning style perfectly. Jamie tries to let me do more and more things on my own. One thing I ve
been struggling with is writing the patient note in a SOAP format. I believe the reason I have been
struggling is because she stands over me and feeds me what to type. When she puts me on the spot and
gives the instruction to compose the note in my own words, Jamie always corrects me and has me put
the note in her own words. This has been having an effect on my confidence level. Consequently, why
I came into today feeling defeated. I planned to say something since I was not progressing on the
patient note writing, but I wonder if Jamie picked up on the same thing. Today, Jamie stepped away

There are those who mountain bike, road bike, or just use a bike as their transportation everyday. I
want to address what kind of effects bikers have on the environment. To do this I will start with road
biking and commuting. The main reason why cars are not environmentally friendly is because the
burning of fossil fuels (gasoline) releases carbon into the oxygen in the air, they combine and create an

I was born in Inglewood, CA, the son of two immigrant parents. Growing up, I always knew the
importance of education; it was ingrained in me by my mother and father. They grew up in Mexico

Type two diabetes is the most common disease today, and it has a great impact on the lives of many
people in the United States. Type two diabetes results when the body is resistant to insulin or impaired
secretion of insulin by the pancreatic beta cells. The pancreas produces too much insulin, but over
time it is not able to make an adequate amount of insulin needed in order to move the glucose into the

Recently I studied two poems with the same theme, Lucozade By Jackie Kay and Visiting Hour By
Norman McCaig. Both poets talk about death and by using a word set they create a mental image of
what is happening and this reminds me of times were I had to visit loved ones and how emotional it
was. The poem Lucozade was written by Jackie Kay, it is about a girl visiting her mother in a hospital
before she passes away. The poem talks about death but does so in a humorous way, making jokes and
poking fun at a traditional gifts given at hospitals did you think you could cheer me up with a woman
s own? An item given to hospital patients. The mother believes they re making a big deal out this,
because she does not want to come to the realisation that he is dying. The daughter is scared her
mother is going to die. She clears the cupboard and waves her mother goodbye then walks home
singing and old song. The poem Visiting Hour was written by Norman McCaig, it is about a man
visiting his mother in hospital. This poem is a lot darker than the other and is not humorous, It uses a
strong death related word set to set a scene in the readers head. The man is fearful of what is
happening to his mother, He walks to her white cave of forgetfulness . He gets closer to her but never
passing the distance of pain. Distance shrinks until there is none left but the distance that neither she
nor I can cross, telling us in the end, we are all alone. The mother weak and exhausted smiles. On the
first line of Lucozade Jackie Kay tells us that the mother is not well and may be on medication by
saying high bed and sad Chrysanthemums . By using the word high bed we can presume the mother is
dying or on medication to stay alive, since high beds are found in hospitals and chrysanthemums are a
symbol of death and are given at funerals additionally the words die and sad are repeated throughout
the first stanza. We hear from the daughter that she is scared, Scared her mother will die, this shows
she cares for her. In the second stanza, the mother says she does not want Lucozade to be brought to
her. Lucozade is commonly brought to hospitals so her not wanting it tells us she doesn t not want to

In the 1 Driver category vote count was the top factor at 39%. In the 2 Driver category vote count was
also included in the budget. Both were the main two factors that were at 54% that drove revenue
upward. Overall, if the film industry produces a must see movie and sells a ton of movie tickets cause

how the budget for productions have grown since the year 2000 and how there has been various
advancements and money put into movie productions in present day times and how the value of the
budget has increased.

the popularity of movies over the years, which displays how popularity is constantly increasing and

High Value Care Is A Driving Force And Affordable Care Act...
High value care is a driving force in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). Of
particular concern is the care of pregnant women and how families can seek safe and affordable care
outside of a hospital. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services examined the birth center
model as a means of providing high quality care. Additionally, the Strong Start Initiative of 2012 listed
Birth Centers as one of three options for enhanced prenatal care.
The American Association of Birth Centers (AABC) conducted a study in January 2013, this study
confirmed the long standing belief that midwife led birth centers provide a safe and effective health
care option for women during pregnancy, labor, and birth. Greenville Health Systems (GHS) listened
and embraced the tenet of becoming the health care value leader in the region by proposing the
construction of a three room freestanding birthing center operated by Greenville Midwifery Care.
After almost one year of service to the community, the plan is to open a second birth center near the
Patewood Memorial Hospital.
Currently, there are only six birthing centers with 15 birthing rooms in South Carolina: two in
Greenville County, one in Spartanburg, and the remaining three in Charleston, Lexington, and York
counties. The Charleston Birth Place and Greenville Birth Center are the only CABC accredited
