The struggle for survival Every society is unique on its own, however during hard
times, most societies end up alike and collapse. In the novel, Lord of The Flies by
William Golding, a relatively large group of British boys are deported from their
homeland and end up lost on an island in the middle of nowhere. The boys suffer
from conflicts with who should take charge and lead the group in a direction of
future rescue. They pick a leader, in which tries to satisfy everyone, however
throughout the story actions lead to consequences and soon the group/society falls
apart. The three main symbols, Piggy s glasses, the conch, and the fire gradually show
the corruption of human beings and civilization. William Golding uses these tools to
create a society bringing everyone together and then causing problems and selfishness
turning most of the group into savages , similar to what would happen during an

Based on my results, I realized my strong area was in visual modality, which was a
score of 30. I think this was my strongest areas because I prefer to see information.

a cultural importance. From now on, 21st February so long observed in Bangladesh
as the Bangla Language Martyrs Day will be observed here simultaneously as the

nearly 200 countries of the world, various peoples speaking various languages and
belonging to various national cultures will observe 21st February as the International
