habitus should have allowed us to do so, but the patient was, I believe, severely intravascularly
volume depleted, and his vein was collapsing. I have attempted to access the right internal jugular
vein multiple times, both under real time ultrasound guidance and even later on blindly. I was
able to get blood return and hit the vein; however, I was not able to advance the guidewire. I was
able to advance it one time and put the catheter in, and it was nonfunctioning. I had to take the
catheter out and tried multiple other times on the right IJ vein without success. That procedure was
terminated. Pressure was applied. There was no cervical hematoma whatsoever. The patient was
uncomfortable because of the length of the procedure but did well otherwise. Hemodynamically,
he was unchanged, and his oxygen saturations remained stable.I prepped the IJ vein area in the
usual fashion. One percent lidocaine was used for local anesthesia. Again, the left IJ vein was
collapsing. With deep inspiration, the vein could be well visualized on the real time and ultrasound

and private sectors of the U.S., not mentioning human casualties. This report focuses on the general
effects of the climate change in the economic sector affecting businesses specifically in the
Southeastern region of the U.S. and Texas. Climate change will cost millions of dollars in labor
productivity decline, energy demand will significantly increase, and the agricultural sector will
suffer considerably losses.
General Trends
The southeastern United States and Texas will face significant economic risks from the continuous
climate change. The risks vary from different states, which will be explained in general. Texas is
going to be focused deeply in separate. Despite the variability in each region, we can identify some
general trends in how the states in the southeastern United States and Texas will react to the climate
change.

each question completely yet concisely. Typical answers have generally ranged between 250
and 500 words. Also, you can choose to try for up to 3 extra credit points by answering the extra
credit question listed below. Your response to this question must be thorough and well thought out
to receive extra credit. Be sure to label each answer within your document (e.g. Question 1, Extra
Credit, etc.). Be clear about where one answer stops and the next answer begin. Exams are due on
Friday, April 25th by 5:00pm. Submit your exam through the link labeled Exam on the Module 5
