Color vision is very important for human eyes. all details about color vision, definition, classification, abnormalities and color vision test details are given in slides
Thomas Young was the main pioneer to publicly hypothesize that color vision came about due to intrinsic properties of the human retina. Hesternely believed that there are three kinds of nerves which, when stimulated, would produce sensations of red, green, and blue. The brain would then weigh the relative intensities of these sensations and generate a color percept. These ideas were mainly taken on by Herman von Helmholtz, who saw them as a specific application of Müller's Law.
An overview of color vision with its Theories , mechanism and important concepts. Brief explanation on color vision disorders and tests use for screening and diagnosis. by DR.GAGAN and DR. NEENET

Normal Concept For colour vision, our normal human eyes have 3 con.pdfaquastore223
Normal Concept : For colour vision, our normal human eyes have 3 cones and photoreceptors.
L cone - sensitive to long wavelength of yellowish green light
M cone - middle wavelength of green light
s cone - short wavelength to bluish violet light
Protonapia - complete absence of red cone photoreceptors. He felt difficulty in identifying the red
colour
Deuteranopia - complete absence of green cone photoreceptors. He felt difficulty in identifying
green colour
Red green colour discrimination is called red- green dichromat vision blindness. He can able to
see yellow circles sometimes in place of red or green colour, it shows the unstable working
colour vision receptors.
If one colour dominates the vision, the other will be absent, for instance, if red hue is dominant, it
strikes the receptors of green colour and vice versa.
Red green dichromat friend will have reduction view in the normally appearing red - green
colour. The hues, he perceives was not like normal, it looks fade olive in colour. This is due to
specific absence of photoreceptors.
If he able to perceive colours, either one of the phoreceptors work in exitatory state and the other
in inhibitory state. This is called opponent colour theory.
Of all that, he might have some degeneration or improper formation issues with myelin
sheath(covering the axon of a neuron) which is responsible for colour determination.

The simplified electron and muon model, Oscillating Spacetime: The Foundation...RitikBhardwaj56
Discover the Simplified Electron and Muon Model: A New Wave-Based Approach to Understanding Particles delves into a groundbreaking theory that presents electrons and muons as rotating soliton waves within oscillating spacetime. Geared towards students, researchers, and science buffs, this book breaks down complex ideas into simple explanations. It covers topics such as electron waves, temporal dynamics, and the implications of this model on particle physics. With clear illustrations and easy-to-follow explanations, readers will gain a new outlook on the universe's fundamental nature.

Thinking of getting a dog? Be aware that breeds like Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, and German Shepherds can be loyal and dangerous. Proper training and socialization are crucial to preventing aggressive behaviors. Ensure safety by understanding their needs and always supervising interactions. Stay safe, and enjoy your furry friends!
This presentation was provided by Steph Pollock of The American Psychological Association’s Journals Program, and Damita Snow, of The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), for the initial session of NISO's 2024 Training Series "DEIA in the Scholarly Landscape." Session One: 'Setting Expectations: a DEIA Primer,' was held June 6, 2024.

9. Colour blindness is the inability to distinguish certain colours. It occurs when one or more of the cone types is missing or defective to any extent. They may be absent entirely, or may be present, but unable to manufacture the necessary signals to the brain.

18. Dichromats have two cone receptors rather than three, and match all the spectral hues using two colour matching variables. There are three types of dichromatism depending on which of the three normal pigments is missing. Protanopes are the most common, lacking the long-wave ‘red’ sensitive receptors. Deuteranopes lack the middle-wave ‘ green’ receptors, and Tritanopes lack the short-wave ‘ blue ’ sensitive receptors. Protanopes and deuteranopes cannot distinguish red light from green light, while the rare tritanope has blue-yellow confusion2. DICHROMATS

29. Monochromats cannot discriminate colors and perceive only shades of gray. Individuals with monochromatic vision are truly colorblind (achromatopsia). There are two types of monochromats. Rod monochromats completely lack cones. This condition is associated with reduced visual acuity, hypersensitivity to light (photophobia) and other vision impairments Cone monochromats have only one cone type. They usually have good visual acuity and none of the other vision impairments found in rod monochromats. MONOCHROMATS
