Introduction
 Our Project aims to provide better, easy and user friendly
environment in the field generating electricity. The idea of
Self power generator will replace the conventional
generator in near future, thus saving lot of non-renewable
energy like gas, petrol, kerosene giving an eco-friendly
alternative. This also functions as an Emergency Power
Supply, so that need of electricity for every minute is fulfill.
4
1. AEIOU CANVAS
In AEIOU Canvas
there are four
sections,
1. User
2. Stakeholders
3. Activities
4. Story Boarding
5
Activities:
Activities as the name
suggests you have to
describe all the
activities you observed
like if you are on Power
Plant You have be seen
like
Maintenance
Controlling machine
Operation
Working
6
Environment:
For Environment how's
the environment
during your
observation and in
element box you have
to describe elements
you observed . you
have to sketch floor
plan and describe scene
like a young man
operating machine.
Warm Atmosphere
Cloudy Atmosphere
Noisy Atmosphere
7
Interactions:
For Interaction as title
tells you have to
describe your
interactions along
people you observed.
Lab assistance to
student
Engineer to
employee’s
Manager to
supervisor
Engineer to
maintenances cure
Engineer to workers
Supervisor to workers
8
Objects:
You have to describe
observed object and
user to correspondingly
object frame and user
framework.
Voltage Regulator
LED Display
Controller
Speed Controller
9
Users:
You have to describe
the different users
relates to product
Engineer
Worker
Supervisor
Manager
10
Basically there are four
sections in empathy
Canvas,
1. User
2. Stakeholders
3. Activities
4. Story Boarding
To fill empathy canvas,
we have studied
problems related power
cut off. Then we have
seen that most of the
power cut off is due to
the human’s and
naturally like heavy
rainfall, earthquake,
etc.
2. EMPATHY CANVAS
11
USER:
The idea of the product
that we have come up with
is meant for the following
persons:
A student working on
machine
An employee working in
hurry to start the power
supply
A professor explaining
the working of motor
A doctor operating the
emergency operations
12
STAKEHOLDERS:
Due to such power
failure, people or
organization that
would be indirectly
affected are Electrician,
Engineer, Maintenance
Man, Manager,
supervisor, Lab
Assistance, etc.
13
ACTIVITES:
The activities carried
out by our projected
users are:
Doctor doing
emergency operation
A student is studying
for the exam
Electrician is testing
the power supply, etc.
14
HAPPY STORY:
SAD STORY:
Ideation Canvas contain for
section
1. People
2. Activities
3. Situation/Context/Location
4. Possible Solution
If we talk about Ideation
Canvas then it is something
near to our main problem
which we want to find finally.
In people part only those
people mention which is only
related to our problem only.
In Activities means during
which you are facing problem.
In location/Situation means
in which situation and
location problem become in
picture that things must be
maintained. At last we have to
find problem that can be
possible solution and way that
things can be mentioned.
3. IDEATION CANVAS
16
PEOPLE:
So, as per the
Explanation about the
Ideation canvas in
people we have
mentions different
peoples like
Power cut-off when
student performing
practical
Transformer failure
when doctor doing
operation
Employers
Shopkeepers
Engineer
Lab Assistance
17
ACTIVITIES:
In activities like
studying, operating
machine, testing
electrical machine
means these activities
becomes in picture
when we are talking
about our mentioned
problem.
Doctor doing
emergency operation
A student is studying
for the exam
Electrician is testing
the power supply
Maintaining machine
by maintenances cure
18
SITUATION/CONTEX
T/LOCATION:
In Situation& Location we
have written heavy
rainfall, earthquake,
distributions center,
industry, etc.
A student performing
improper experiments
with electrical equipment
in college
Power cut-off during in
heavy rainfall
Power cut-off in hospital
during emergency
operation
Overhead transmission
line breakage during
earthquake
Grid failure in
distribution center
19
PROPS/TOOLS/OBJECT
S/EQUIPMENT:
And in Possible Solution we
have written all possible
solution for power cut off
during different situations.
Auto starting system
Overload protection
system
Voltage Regulator system
Microprocessor unit
Microcontroller unit
LED display unit
MCB
High grade generator
20
Product Development
Canvas contain
1. Purpose
2. People
3. Product Experience
4. Product Function
5. Product Features
6. Components
7. Customer Revalidation
8. Reject, Redesign &
Retain
Now, when we are
discussing about the
product development
canvas we have to define
the main problem after
completion of user canvas
and Ideation Canvas.
4. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT CANVAS
21
PURPOSE:
The purpose of our
project is to design a
handy product that
should perform the
following functions:
When the user face
problem related power
cut off, he should get
emergency power supply
To decreased
maintenances cost
compared to normal
emergency power supply
available in market
22
PEOPLE:
The people to whom our
product may be useful
are
Students
Doctor’s
Lab Assistance
Engineer
Shopkeeper
23
PRODUCT
EXPERIENCE:
The user will feel
relaxed as he wills get 24
for hour power supply.
And if there would
power cut off he can
used his own generator
for continuous supply.
As the product is
handy, he is not over
burdened while using it.
This product also
reduces maintenances
cost
24
PRODUCT

This also functions as an Emergency Power Supply, so that need of electricity for every minute is fulfill. 4
  • 4. 1. AEIOU CANVAS In AEIOU Canvas there are four sections, 1. User 2. Stakeholders 3. Activities 4. Story Boarding 5
  • 5. Activities: Activities as the name suggests you have to describe all the activities you observed like if you are on Power Plant You have be seen like Maintenance Controlling machine Operation Working 6
  • 6. Environment: For Environment how's the environment during your observation and in element box you have to describe elements you observed . you have to sketch floor plan and describe scene like a young man operating machine. Warm Atmosphere Cloudy Atmosphere Noisy Atmosphere 7
  • 7. Interactions: For Interaction as title tells you have to describe your interactions along people you observed. Lab assistance to student Engineer to employee’s Manager to supervisor Engineer to maintenances cure Engineer to workers Supervisor to workers 8
  • 8. Objects: You have to describe observed object and user to correspondingly object frame and user framework. Voltage Regulator LED Display Controller Speed Controller 9
  • 9. Users: You have to describe the different users relates to product Engineer Worker Supervisor Manager 10
  • 10. Basically there are four sections in empathy Canvas, 1. User 2. Stakeholders 3. Activities 4. Story Boarding To fill empathy canvas, we have studied problems related power cut off. Then we have seen that most of the power cut off is due to the human’s and naturally like heavy rainfall, earthquake, etc. 2. EMPATHY CANVAS 11
  • 11. USER: The idea of the product that we have come up with is meant for the following persons: A student working on machine An employee working in hurry to start the power supply A professor explaining the working of motor A doctor operating the emergency operations 12
  • 12. STAKEHOLDERS: Due to such power failure, people or organization that would be indirectly affected are Electrician, Engineer, Maintenance Man, Manager, supervisor, Lab Assistance, etc. 13
  • 13. ACTIVITES: The activities carried out by our projected users are: Doctor doing emergency operation A student is studying for the exam Electrician is testing the power supply, etc. 14
  • 15. Ideation Canvas contain for section 1. People 2. Activities 3. Situation/Context/Location 4. Possible Solution If we talk about Ideation Canvas then it is something near to our main problem which we want to find finally. In people part only those people mention which is only related to our problem only. In Activities means during which you are facing problem. In location/Situation means in which situation and location problem become in picture that things must be maintained. At last we have to find problem that can be possible solution and way that things can be mentioned. 3. IDEATION CANVAS 16
  • 16. PEOPLE: So, as per the Explanation about the Ideation canvas in people we have mentions different peoples like Power cut-off when student performing practical Transformer failure when doctor doing operation Employers Shopkeepers Engineer Lab Assistance 17
  • 17. ACTIVITIES: In activities like studying, operating machine, testing electrical machine means these activities becomes in picture when we are talking about our mentioned problem. Doctor doing emergency operation A student is studying for the exam Electrician is testing the power supply Maintaining machine by maintenances cure 18
  • 18. SITUATION/CONTEX T/LOCATION: In Situation& Location we have written heavy rainfall, earthquake, distributions center, industry, etc. A student performing improper experiments with electrical equipment in college Power cut-off during in heavy rainfall Power cut-off in hospital during emergency operation Overhead transmission line breakage during earthquake Grid failure in distribution center 19
  • 19. PROPS/TOOLS/OBJECT S/EQUIPMENT: And in Possible Solution we have written all possible solution for power cut off during different situations. Auto starting system Overload protection system Voltage Regulator system Microprocessor unit Microcontroller unit LED display unit MCB High grade generator 20
  • 20. Product Development Canvas contain 1. Purpose 2. People 3. Product Experience 4. Product Function 5. Product Features 6. Components 7. Customer Revalidation 8. Reject, Redesign & Retain Now, when we are discussing about the product development canvas we have to define the main problem after completion of user canvas and Ideation Canvas. 4. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT CANVAS 21
  • 21. PURPOSE: The purpose of our project is to design a handy product that should perform the following functions: When the user face problem related power cut off, he should get emergency power supply To decreased maintenances cost compared to normal emergency power supply available in market 22
  • 22. PEOPLE: The people to whom our product may be useful are Students Doctor’s Lab Assistance Engineer Shopkeeper 23
  • 23. PRODUCT EXPERIENCE: The user will feel relaxed as he wills get 24 for hour power supply. And if there would power cut off he can used his own generator for continuous supply. As the product is handy, he is not over burdened while using it. This product also reduces maintenances cost 24
  • 24. PRODUCT FUNCTIONS: To provide high efficiency To help to reduce global warming To increased working capacity of the machine 25
  • 25. PRODUCT FEATURES: The LED displaced enabled. It helps the user to show important details that should be known by user. The Auto-starting unit, it helps the machine to start automatically without user interferences. Short-circuit protection which protects the machine to damage if there is any short circuit occurs. This product provides stabilized output, which is good for the electrical and electronics machines and devices. 26
