1. Work teams are becoming more popular in organizations as they allow for better utilization of employee talents and are more flexible and responsive to changing environments than individuals. 2. There are five stages of team development: forming, storming, norming, performing, and adjourning. 3. Work teams require joint effort and generate synergy while work groups primarily share information and make individual decisions.
