PROJECTS
• SAP go-live for Edmonton: after going live on SAP I was responsible to lay down a brand new
procedure for reconciling. I used the knowledge I gained on the basic trainings and my experience
to identify each step of the daily routine, link the procedures and create all the reports. Because this
was a new system and new practice continuous improvement was required from all concerned
employee. Therefore I gave trainings to Production Team Leaders where I explained the new
procedures, showed them live examples and made them practice. This contributed a lot to the
reduction of reconciling, traceability, stock issues and caused far less financial loss to the company.
• Writing a guide about the reconciliation process and duties to identify a Reconciler’s priorities,
day-to-day tasks. This guide helps anyone in this position to build up a work structure and routine,
explains the importance of the role and helps to understand the whys while making transactions in
the systems. This guide also revels the links between SAP systems. The guide can be used by other
Coca-Cola sites where SAP is introduced. The guide contains all of the reconciliation tasks,
problem solving ideas which I met on the job and the simplified routines which me and my
Supervisor agreed using the Lean Method.
• Deploying new Lean supply methods to replenish components on the shop floor to ensure the
continuity for Production. I calculated the monthly usage of each items to get a better plan for
purchase and I introduced the Empty Bin – Full Bin (EBFB) system for consumable materials.
• Lay down new procedure to present material shortages and track actual production material
shortages in MS Excel by extracting the data from SAP and WM modules. The report reveals all
the kits with shortages on the shop floor by indicating its material code, short quantity and the
corresponding assembly of occurrence. Also I was working closely with the Material Planning &
Logistics Manager and his team to include all forecasted shortages to our report.
• Scrapping one of the crucial items from an assembly caused a major issue to production as that
component stopped the build completely. My team had to review the plan for changes to keep
production running. I gave an input of the stock availability for two of our contracts and according
my researches we made a decision which assemblies we pulled in and which assemblies we pushed
out from the quarter’s sales.
