~ Supply Chain Management - New Projects
Currently working on setting up a Consolidation Center (Export warehouse) in India which will act as a single point for exports of Indian supplier parts and CKD to various Daimler AG plants & other Consolidation Centers across the world (Germany, Japan, Detroit, Brazil)
Scenario based business case preparation for all projects to be presented to top management
Project planning & time line management which includes scope definition for all the core logistics activities
Coordinate and work with multiple departments like Global procurement, Finance & Controlling, Taxation, Supplier management, In-plant logistics, 3PL & International supply chain team as a part of various project initiatives
Conduct workshops to gather the requirements from importer country
GQC and LOI / LON release to all selected Indian suppliers
Export packaging planning for all selected parts
Align the part basic price, transportation cost, packaging cost, tooling cost, operations cost and the markup margin with importer
Transfer pricing calculation to arrive at the final selling price to importer
Creation of first and second contract with suppliers and importer respectively, which enables the buying and selling of the parts
Ensuring IT system readiness for Order receipt and ASN with importer systems
Setting up Supply framework agreement with importer county which defines the order to delivery lead time, export documentation, warranty, claims and other terms and conditions of export
Enable the final project implementation (smooth ramp up of Indian exports) and assist the daily management operations team on issue resolutions
Create standard operating procedures for all project and daily operations activities
Tracking and management reporting of revenues and expenses for all projects
~ Process Methods and Systems - Inventory Planning and Control
Conduct in-depth analysis on the raw data received from various data sources ~ import / domestic; region / category wise analysis; direct online; Kanban / 2bin etc.
Optimize the key parameters like safety stock, frozen zone, delivery lead time
Devise strategies for reduction of the current inventory levels, if high
Predict future inventory levels based on consumption, receipts and sales forecast
Arrive at obsolete, non-moving & slow-moving parts list and take necessary actions for disposal
Coordinate with marketing to match the sales and production requirements
Establish standard processes in areas of goods receipt, physical inventory, production part issuance and consumption recording

Introduced Milkrun logistics for the local suppliers of TVS which helped in reducing the logistics cost by 20% and inventory by 45%
