The author is creating a magazine called Violet but is changing the name to V music group for layout reasons. They want to incorporate the name Violet somehow to match the rest of the magazine. The author designs the cover in InDesign to see what the front cover will look like and keeps the cover lines minimal to highlight the model on the cover as this will appeal most to their target audience. Although a different artist is featured in the main article, the author decided to use a different exciting image of 'Matty G' on the cover instead as their survey found the target audience would buy based on interesting images.

1. My magazine will be called Violet. However, I feel having the
name go across the page does not suit the main image that I
would wish to use, therefore I am now changing it to V music
group. But In the next few day’s I am going to need to think of a
way to in-cooperate ‘violet’ as a whole to match the rest of my
magazine.
When making my cover lines draft I thought it would be
beneficial to do it on InDesign so I could get a good feel for
what my front cover its going to look like. I wanted to make the
cover lines minimal in order to keep my model prominent as I
feel this will appeal to my target audience the most enhancing
the revenue of the magazine.
One thing you may notice when looking at my magazine is my
main artist on my front cover isn’t the artist in my main article.
This wasn’t my first intentions however when taking a step
back and reviewing my images I feel this image helped put the
pieces of my magazine together making the genre of my
magazine prominent. Also, my survey showed that my target
audience would buy a magazine if the image interests them,
therefore it was essential ‘Matty G’ was on my front cover due
to having the most exciting images.
