2. When I was going to address my audience I wanted to take things from
other magazines such as Q. Q is more of a rock but I have adapted to it
have still used it but just made it appeal to what I wanted. I have used
informal language and effective techniques to attract my audience.
My target audience is for 15 and onwards, which isn’t the same as Q
but I have only used it as a template, which is effective. My product has
to be eye catching to attract my target audience.
3. For my masthead I have used a block of red and I
have gotten white letters with a black outline
this was to make it eye catching. The colour
scheme that I have chosen red, black, yellow and
white are stand out and to attract readers. For
my sell lines I have used black this is because I
feel that it stands out because of the gradient
that I have used. I feel like it looks professional
and clean and looks conventional. As I haven’t
put colour into my sell lines I have used yellow
for my pug because It stands out in comparison
to the sell lines. When I put my sell lines on the
language I have used is informal and that it look
like the magazine is actually directly speaking to
the person reading the magazine. This could be
that the audience feels involved in what their
favourite bands are doing and feel connected.
The pug that I have used is pulling people to buy
this magazine because it offers free things in
order for people to buy this magazine. The
image of Ellie attracts the reader by the clothes
that she is wearing because my target audience
are such a young age they would interested in
they are wearing.

4. Contents Page
As you can see my contents page
has a subscription at the bottom of
the page. This is to show that I want
my article to be seen and that its
pulling the readers attention
towards the bold writing and the
big headlines. When subscribing to
a magazine, I have mentioned
Sound! If the readers are passionate
about the magazine then it would
give the sense of loyalty.
By including things that young
people who be interested in I found
that they would buy this.
By putting the UK top 20 into my
contents page I have then hopefully
caught the readers eye to find out
what id in the charts.
5. Article
My double page spread is trying to address
to mode of address. My article is a first
person interview. Which then means that
the formality of the of the article is informal
had has slag words in it. Which will in fact
get the audience wanting to read it as it is
more of a relaxed atmosphere.
‘where I am now!’ makes the reader want
to know more although I feel like I could of
made a better title because I think it feels
that it isn’t eye catching enough.
In the article it self has information which
includes when her next album will be out
and when she is going to tour. My article
has got my web-address and Facebook and
Twitter at the bottom to show that there
are more ways of getting the magazine for
those technophile.
