In this lab we looked at the mold on three different fruits in three different
environments to asses which fruit would have the most mold and in which
environment the mold would be present the most. For the experiment we used fruits
that were in season so that we could also compare organic and non organic fruit.
Because of this my group chose tomatoes, peaches and apples. We hypothesized that
peaches would rot the most out of each of the fruits and that the peaches would rot
the most in our warmest environment, the incubator. The fruits were then observed
over a period of weeks. At the end of this period of time the peaches had rotted the
most and burst and the peaches in the incubator were the first to go.

the ignorance of our denial and the importance of the helpless presence, and she does
this through the heavy use of contrast, figurative language, a good quantity of
rhetorical questions, and some very clever wording. She suggested that the presence
of the homeless helps teach us compassion. Afterall, compassion is not a character
trait like a sunny disposition. It must be learned. Ascher begins her article with a
strong narrative vividly describing a queer exchange between a homeless person, a
fearful woman, and an equally frightened infant. Utilizing both contrast and figurative
language, Ascher captures the unsettling atmosphere present in the special transaction

I woke up from my nap. From that nap I went to school and I was given a challenge.
Something that sounds almost impossible, go twelve hours without any electronics
unless an emergency. As the assignment was given out. I thought to myself without
my phone and tv, how would I go hours being awoke with no electronics devices. So,
I brainstormed that entire day.
