Many of the people have a phobia of darkness, so to assist them in such situation, we have explained a simple circuit. It will automatically turn on street light in the way of LEDs or bulb coupled with relay. Working this circuit is very much easy and also the power consumed by the circuit is very low because of the very few components used in the circuit.

Remote Controlled Home Appliance is a microcontroller based wireless system. we choose infrared to design the remote control system for home appliances for our project. Here we used IR Transmitter (Commonly Used remotes for home appliances) and IR Sensor Modules The major aim of this project is to deliver the technology of modern world in our country at low price to general people. The overall performance of the power supply (PS) is excellent as a constant supply to drive any small load
To develop a home automation system with a RF controlled remote. As technology is advancing so houses are also getting smarter. Modern houses are gradually shifting from conventional switches to centralized control system, involving RF controlled switches.
SGM automatic weather station is an automated version of the traditional weather station, either to save human labor or to enable measurements from remote areas.
This anti-sleep alarm keeps you awake. This circuit keeps you vigilant by sounding intermittent beeps and emitting flashing light so as to remind you that you are not on the bed but driving a vehicle. It works only at night due to the control of a light-dependent resistor (LDR) based switch.
In an extremely mechanized world such as today’s it is necessary to make our life better, convertible and economical. This is the purpose for which the Electronic house is developed. This project proposes the development of security system for farm houses and residential houses. It is used to develop security system for houses and to save electric power.

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

2. INTRODUCTION
The aim of this project is to design a circuit
such that one can control home or
industrial appliances using the help of
remote.
Using remote to control appliances reduces
human efforts without compromising on
efficiency. It also saves time.
This circuit can be operated upto a distance
of 5-10 metres depending upon the remote
which we use.
5. WORKING
Home appliance is controlled either by pressing any key on
the remote or by manually pressing switch S1 to ‘on’ state.
The circuit works on regulated 5V which is derived from X1
and regulated by IC1.
The TV/DVD remote controller produces 38kHz frequency
IR RECEIVER MODULE: The IR receiver module operates at
this frequency(38kHz). It is used to control relay RL2.
The relay triggers IC2, which is wired in a bistable mode to
control the home appliance connected at the contacts of
relay RL1. iggeins6 and 2 of IC2 are held at one-half of the
power supply voltage (5V) by resistors R2 and R3. When
output pin 3 of IC2 is high, capacitor C4 charges through
resistor R4, and discharges when the output pin 3 is low.
6. TIMER NE555 IC (IC2): When switch S1 is
pressed, capacitor C4 voltage is applied to pins 2
and 6 of IC2, which causes the output of IC2 to
change from low to high, or high to low. When
switch S1 is released capacitor C4 charges or
discharges to the original level at the output pin3 of
IC2.
IR receiver module (IRX1 TSOP1738) :
At normal condition, when IR rays are not incident
on TSOP1738, its output at pin 3 remains high.
When any TV remote key is pressed, IR rays fall on
the TSOP1738 and its output goes low
At the same time relay RL2 energises for a
few seconds through pnp transistor T2 (BC558).
7. STEPS INVOLVED IN WORKING:
1. Switching on the electrical appliances: Initially, when
there are no IR rays falling on the IR receiver
module, its output remains high. Transistor T2 is in
cut-off condition. Relay RL2 does not energise and
hence IC2 does not toggle. As a result home
appliance connected at the contacts of relay RL1
remains switched off.
When a remote key is pressed, IR receiver
module’s output becomes low and collector of the
transistor T2 becomes high.
Relay RL2 energises and triggers IC2.
Output of IC2 goes high and relay RL1 energises to
switch on the appliance.
Once relay RL1 is energised it remains in that state.
8. So the appliance which is connected at the contacts of
relay RL1 remains switched on.
2. When you press any remote key the second time,
relay RL2 energises and re-triggers IC2. Output of IC2
becomes low and relay RL1 de-energises to switch off
the appliance.
Once relay RL1 de-energises it remains in that state. So
the home appliance remains off.
This cycle repeats when any key of the TV remote is
pressed to switch on/off the home appliance.
9. APPLICATIONS
This system can be used in industrial applications
This system reduces human efforts and makes life
a bit easy without compromising on the efficiency
of appliances.
Using this system one can also save time.
ADVANTAGES
Portable and easy to use.
Simple in construction.
Easy to maintain and repair.
Efficient and low cost design.
Low power consumption.
