VeriType is developing software that will improve the billing process for physicians. The software is
developed to help make the billing process easier, more accurate, efficient, and compliant with the
Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA). HCFA monitors billing practices compliance with
government regulations. Fines imposed for noncompliance with HCFA guidelines can reach up to
$10,000 per claim. This along with other inefficiencies in the billing process can cost physicians a lot
of money. (Moot Corp, 2013) VeriType s software is designed to improve the billing process and allow
the physicians to worry less about the billing process and focus their attention and time on patient
care. VeriType is a unique leader in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Job fairs that focus on medical professions, technical support, or development are great opportunities
for the HRM or a representative to be present and expose potential candidates to VeriType s career
opportunities. Training and development will play a huge role in the success of VeriType. HRM is
critical in developing the proper training and development of most companies. The training of both the
software development team and the technical support staff will be important in the success of
VeriType. Employees must be trained in HCFA guidelines so that they can ensure the software is
operating effectively. Employees must be competently trained in how to educate and help customers.
The steps an effective training and development plan include determining specific needs, establishing
specific objectives, selecting methods/delivery systems, implementing programs, and finally
evaluation. (Mondy, 2014) VeriType wants to develop and launch their software geared to help
physicians alleviate billing problems and ultimately avoid costly HCFA violations. This requires
knowledgeable and experienced software developers and skilled technical support staff. The HRM
should discuss this training process with Jennifer Brunner, CEO, she has experience in database
development and contacts in the software development community. Jennifer should be able to provide
valuable resources to the HRM. She may also be capable of training employees. Once the HRM has

Feudalism In Medieval Europe
ife was extremely difficult for those living during the Middle Ages. Many people were illiterate, and
relied mainly on their beliefs. The people believed that fate ruled their existence; therefore, there was
little hope for improving their condition. During the years of the Roman Empire, the peasants, or poor
citizens of the empire, were protected by the soldiers of the emperor. After the fall of the Roman
Empire in 476 A.D., the peasants longed for protection. There were no laws protecting these peasants,
so they turned to the lords to keep the peace and to act on their behalf. The willingness exemplified by
the peasants to be ruled by the lords led to the beginnings of the dominant social system in Medieval
Europe: feudalism.
Feudalism is simply defined as land exchanged for work. However, feudalism entails a more
complicated aspect: a social hierarchy in which protection and military service was exchanged for
homage, labor, and a share of the produce. R.J. Barendense, an author of the Journal of World History,
states that feudalism is ...a specific world historic juncture in which peasant societies were subjugated
by an aristocracy of mounted warriors that became more powerful than any central institution and
increasingly appropriated the jurisdiction over the peasants, and thus the land revenue. In other
worlds, the nobility held lands from the Crown in exchange for military service, and vassals were in
turn tenants of the nobles, while the peasants, or serfs, were obliged to live on their lord s land and
give him homage, labor, and a share of the produce, notionally in exchange for military protection.
Feudalism established an ultimate system of control for medieval society, providing a degree of
cohesiveness in a society that lacked an adequate bureaucracy or method of taxation.
As stated, feudalism was simply a system of government in which people were given land and
protection by people of a higher rank. The lower class worked fought for the upper class in return. In
feudalism, the main Feudal Hierarchy consisted of the King, the Nobles, the Knights, and the
Peasants, who were called serfs.
The King was the highest person according to the feudal system. A king had the duty of controlling his

Similarities Between Carnegie And Jp Morgan
Andrew Carnegie, John D. Rockefeller, and J.P Morgan were all the richest men of the era. However,
each of their stories differ the way they got there and what they choose to do with their wealth.
Therefore even though they were all making tons and tons of money, their lifestyles were dramatically
different. These three men were apart of the Gilden Age a time when corruption existed in society but
was overshadowed by the wealth of the period. Andrew Carnegie, was immigrant from Scotland his
family came over when he was 13 years old. Carnegie was not born into wealth, similar to
Rockefeller. Carnegie first job was in a cotton mill and he worked his way up into bigger positions for

the T.T. Woodruff Company (later called Central Transportation Company), a maker of sleeping cars

from his mentor, Thomas Scott, along with perfecting the Bessemer Process to make iron into steel

Carnegie also used a process called horizontal consolidation or horizontal integration this is a process
in which a company buys out or merges with all competing companies. By 1889, steel production in
the United States outpaced that of the U.K. and most of that was under Carnegie s control. By then,
Carnegie was one of the wealthiest men in America. However by 1892, Carnegie began suffering after

Maxine Hong Kingston s `` No Name Woman ``
Being an author of several praised works, Maxine Hong Kingston has been deemed a noteworthy
American writer since her first book debuted. Her unique style and interesting blend of myth and truth
in memoir form garnered her international attention and won her several awards. Kingston s works
have put heavy emphasis on her family history and her experiences as a Chinese American, so it is no
surprise that she has been received well by many and misunderstood by others at the same time. A
discussion on one of her most popular works, No Name Woman , and a look at the different ways
Kingston s works have been interpreted should reveal how literature can have different meanings
depending on what one is looking for.
Kingston was born in October of 1940 in the Californian city of Stockton and since her parents were
Chinese emigrants to the United States, Kingston became a first generation Chinese American (
Maxine Hong Kingston ). Coming to the United States changed the career situation for both of
Kingston s parents, as her father went from teaching to working in a gambling house and her mother
went from being a doctor to a stay at home mom raising six children (Baym 1567). After attending the
University of California in Berkeley and graduating in 1962, Kingston spent many years teaching
through various jobs before getting published in 1976 ( Maxine Hong Kingston ). Once her initial
book came out, her career as a writer took off as many critics gave raving reviews of her first

Heroes do what s right, not what s easy. Mary Margaret from Once Upon a Time. The difference
between a twisted hero and a regular hero is that the twisted hero doesn t do what s right, but tries to

Race And Religion In The Last Of The Mohicans
Race and Religion in The Last of the Mohicans The Llast of the Mohicans contains many relevant
issues of the time. The last of the Mohicans is set in North America around the Canadian and
American Border and occurs during the around the third year of the French and Indian War. This novel
of Coopers illustrates the common ideas about race and gender that circulated as part of the American
Identity of the time period. Cooper illustrates the unfavorable attitudes of whites toward the American
Indians. The French and Indian War divided the American Indian tribes. Some tribes fought for the
English, while other tribes sided with the French. Even though the American Indians fought along side
the English and French soldiers, they were considered less than a desirable people. They are

The war is now in its third year and the fight to gain control of the territory around Canada and New

voices this attitude when he wrote, Perhaps no district throughout the wide extent of the intermediate
frontier can furnish a livelier picture of the cruelty and fierceness of the savage warfare...between the
waters of the Hudson and the adjacent lakes ( ). A fear was beginning to emerge that the possession of
the English crown in America might lessen and that France could become the victor here. The English
colonists were beginning to loose their strong confidence in their military leaders. Politics appeared to
play a part in how England recorded the heroic feats of its army. For example, a Virginia boy, George
Washington, played an important role in a decisive battle around the Hudson area and saved the
remnants of the British army. However, Washington was not recognized by the British who evidently

Generations Research Paper
People are at the heart of every company, be it a large corporation with thousands of employees
worldwide or a small, family owned business that just opened its doors. People pioneer ideas, solve
problems, and take care of the customer. As such, it comes as no surprise that one of the biggest
challenges for every company is finding and recruiting top talent. With a new generation entering the
workforce, employers are forced to be more creative in their recruiting methods in order to meet the
different priorities and expectations of the new generation.
Since the 2008 financial crisis, one of the biggest issues to plague the American workforce has been

Additionally, there would be no cap on the amount of vacations an employee is able to take. Typically,
the only requirement is to make sure colleagues are up to date on the employee s work and that the
employee s absence will not cause issues to the business in any way (Branson, 2014). The rationale
behind this is that employees will manage their own time well because it is in the best interest of their
careers to do so. This is different from a relatively more traditional Paid Time Off (PTO) policy, which
essentially groups vacation, sick, and personal days under the same umbrella while establishing a cap
on the overall time off (Sine, 2017). While PTO policies do not give employees as much freedom as
an unlimited vacation policy, it still touts the same general principles and may be a better option for
companies with more nonexempt employees or who are otherwise not ready to implement an
unlimited vacation policy.
Netflix
Unlimited vacation policies have been increasingly popular over the last few years with many
companies in a variety of industries taking advantage of it. While traditional PTO laws tended to be
based upon state regulations, this new perk was pioneered by Patty McCord, the former Chief Talent
Officer at Netflix, and popularized by the viral deck that she wrote with Reed Hastings, the CEO of
Netflix (McCord, 2014). Companies from GE to Virgin to StitchFix have all credited this infamous

What Is Howard Shore s Music
Howard Shore is one of the most legendary and esteemed composer and music conductor in present
time. The Lord of the Rings is his most well known compositions and has been the best of his
achievements in his entire career. This trilogy alone has earned him three academy awards. This three
part trilogy cost a whopping $300 million dollars. The setting for his music was placed in Middle
Earth, and Shore had to write music for Hobbits, Dwarfs, Elves and all the other creatures belonging
to Tolkien s fantasy world.
At first, Howard did not have a clear concept or plan; he had only read the novels but did not know
how to get started. Until he finally decided that, the LOTR should be operatic. The reason behind this
choice was that Shore saw the tragedy and struggle in the novels, and saw how it was already an
Opera. Opera and 19th century choral pieces became his inspiration. He made these compositions

for the Lord of the Rings. For this composition, Howard used strings and piano melodies to sweeten
everything and in the end, it was lacking in texture. This is a lessened version of his true abilities and
mastery of composing works of art. This composition is a softer sweater side to his works in contrast
to the beautiful texture and LOTR.
The Fellowship of the Ring contains two and a half hours of music. In this Shore uses strings, brass
and choral sections creating in depth moments. Enya a famous Celtic singer also contributed to Shores
work, giving the music a sense of peacefulness. The first of the movies was all about the character
development and Shore was able to create music that was at first peaceful but changing it to urgency

Baseball Motif In Fences
A motif is defined as a distinctive feature or dominant idea in an artistic or literary composition. The
motif of baseball is of great prominence in the play Fences by August Wilson. The recurring theme of
baseball is essential to the development of Troy s character as well as his relationships with his loved
ones, particularly Rose and Cory. The motif is also used often within Troy s speech throughout the
play to allude to significant themes and conflicts such as death and his adulterous affair with Alberta.
Troy perceives death in many ways. In Act one, scene one, Troy proclaims, death ain t nothing but a
fastball on the outside corner. In this declaration, Troy compares death to an easy pitch off of which he

Troy believes that because of his race, he was cheated out of a professional baseball career that he
rightfully earned. Weighing on him for years, this incredible injustice fostered Troy s bitterness. Troy
hides his immense pain, his resentment, and his disappointment behind the protection of his son, Cory.
Troy does not want Cory to be susceptible to that same disappointment that he experienced with
baseball. Troy s inability to play baseball due to racism served as his motivation to interfere with Cory
s potential college football career. Troy believes implementing strikes on Cory will prevent him from
reaching the same fate that he had. Troy warns Cory that his actions are causing him to strike out.
When Cory makes three mistakes in the eyes of Troy, he is kicked out of the house. There are also
physical representations of the baseball motif within the play. The rag ball tied to the tree could be
representative of Troy s poverty and his tattered and ragged dreams. The old ball also proves that even
after many years, Troy will do anything he could to hold onto his glory days. The baseball bat
becomes a weapon that Troy and Cory threaten each other with. The fight between the father and son
with the bat is of symbolic significance because it was Troy s inability to play baseball due to his race
that caused him to end Cory s football career and tarnish their

Should Police Officers Wear Body Cameras Essay
Police officers are the people who protect the community. Lately we had a couple pf incidents with
police officers and citizens. Many citizens are now freighted by police officers. We have some citizens
who do attacks against police officers, causing the loss of innocent lives. Police officers should be
required to wear body cameras because the videos could be used for evidence at trial, and police
officers can look back at the videos to evaluate themselves. One reason police officers should wear
body cameras is to be able to use the videos as evidence. Many cases cannot be resolve due to lack of

they need more storage on their camera. Body cameras will save many peoples life s including police

Stricter Laws Essay
Every year passenger vehicles contribute a large portion of the carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides
in our air, although there are laws and regulations set to help reduce these pollutants I believe stricter
laws and regulations should be enacted to further reduce green house gas emissions produced by
vehicles in order to protect our environment and slow the process of global warming. Some of the
strictest regulations in relevance to green house gas emissions (GHG) in the United States are found in
California. This is because California is the second highest GHG emitting state in the nation behind
Texas, however California has 30 percent more citizens and 40 percent lower land mass than Texas
making California significantly denser ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
DMV.org lists the process in which emissions are regulated in these areas. State to state the emissions
testing procedures are generally conducted identically. A tailpipe emissions test is performed on
vehicles with a 1995 or older model year. This involves inserting a probe into the tailpipe to measure
the amount of pollutants in the car s emissions. Vehicles with a 1996 or newer model year will have an
emissions test through an On Board Diagnostic (OBD) system. This style of smog check involves a
data exchange between the car s computer and the technician s computer and shows if emissions
systems are working correctly. The pollutants that are being measured in both tests are: carbon
monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), hydrocarbons (HC), oxygen (O2), and oxides of nitrogen
(NOx). Some may argue that the emissions regulations that are in place are good enough. However
when we compare Californias strict emissions regulations to other states we quickly find flaws in the
other states systems. For example in Connecticut only a Catalytic converter (a piece of a vehicles
exhaust system) is required in order to pass emissions. No other testing is conducted other than a
slight glance at the under side of the car to see if indeed the Catalytic converter is there. Though a

Eating Disorders
According to The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) website, eating disorders are actually
serious and often fatal illnesses causing serve disturbances to a person s eating behaviors. People with
eating disorders often have obsessions with food, their body weight, and their shape. There is,
however, a difference between an eating disorder and a diet. It is important to know the difference.
Eating disorders are a daily struggle for 10 million females and 1 million males in the United States
(Eating Disorder Hope). An eating disorder is a compulsion to avoid eating in order to lose weight
while a diet is cutting down eating or healthier eating in order to lose weight. The three types of an
eating disorders are anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder. All three disorders
are important and they all deserve immediate treatment. No matter what eating disorder someone has,
it can resort in organ damage and sometimes even death.
The average that someone develops anorexia is 19 years old (NIMH), but that does not mean a person
can only be 19 in order to develop an eating disorder. The NIMH has reported cases of eating
disorders reporting in ages as low as .1 percent of eight to eleven year olds and .2 percent of twelve to
fifteen year olds. Eating disorders are becoming more common for students in high school and
college, since they view it as a coping mechanism to handle their

1 Data Lake
A data lake is a massive, easily usable, centralized repository of large volumes of unstructured and

ETL processing runs in parallel across the entire cluster resulting in much faster operations than can

MapReduce refers to the application modules written by a programmer that run in two phases: first
mapping the data (extract) then reducing it (transform). Hadoop scales out to large clusters of servers
and storage using the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) to manage huge data sets and spread
them across the servers. Hadoop also has YARN (Yet another Resource Navigator) manages the
clusters, and MapReduce performs data processing which helps in faster processing. ( CITO Research
, 2014).
MapReduce is a framework on which you can execute programs written on Hadoop. (Programs are
written on Pig and Hive). These programs are executed and analysis is done. Further, if we need to do
statistical modeling, a tool called R or SAS can be used.
Example: Sensor data is stored in HDFS. After doing analytics, it may be found that the system has
been giving warnings about failure. R can then be used to make future predictions.

Is the poet saying that the young man now understands that he will lose his own youth and passion,
after listening to the lamentations in the three preceding quatrains? Or is the poet saying that the
young man now is aware of the poet s imminent demise, and this knowledge makes the young man s
love for the poet stronger because he might soon loose him? What must the young man give up before
long his youth or his friend? The answer could lie in the interpretation of both the young man s and
the poet s character in other sonnets.
*****
Sonnets 71 74 are typically analyzed as a group, linked by the poet s thoughts of his own mortality.
However, Sonnet 73 contains many of the themes common throughout the entire body of sonnets,
including the ravages of time on one s physical well being and the mental anguish associated with
moving further from youth and closer to death. Time s destruction of great monuments juxtaposed
with the effects of age on human beings is a convention seen before, most notably in Sonnet 55.
The poet is preparing his young friend, not for the approaching literal death of his body, but the
metaphorical death of his youth and passion. The poet s deep insecurities swell irrepressibly as he
concludes that the young man is now focused only on the signs of his aging as the poet surely is
himself. This is illustrated by the linear development of the three quatrains.

Proteins And Its Effect On Human Body
Proteins are one of the most important biological molecules in the body; they make up more than 50%
of the dry mass in human body cells. Their simple structure can be described as amino acid polymers
as they are made up of many amino acid monomers stringed together in a linear fashion, which then
gives rise to more complex structures, as various bonding and manipulation takes place. The name
protein comes from the Greek word meaning holding first place which supports the fact that they are
essential to life. Proteins, depending on their structure and where they are found, play very different
roles in an organism. One of the main types of proteins are enzymes which act as biological catalysts,

An amino acid is made up of a carbon atom in the centre (known as the  carbon), a carboxyl group,
amino group, a hydrogen atom and an R group (figure 1). The R group is the section of the amino acid
that determines its chemical properties. In glycine, the R group is hydrogen. Some of the amino acids
have R groups that are hydrophobic and some have R groups that are hydrophilic and this often
determines how the protein folds into its tertiary structure and also where they can be found within the
cell. It is the sequence of these amino acids that determines the type of protein that is made. Amino
acids join to form proteins in a process known as protein synthesis where a gene is expressed to
produce a polypeptide chain. After the genetic code has been translated from the DNA in the nucleus,
the resulting mRNA is transcribed into a polypeptide in the cytoplasm of the cell. The mRNA binds to
a ribosome and has 3 base pairs exposed called a codon. The anticodon of a tRNA molecule can then
bind to the codon as it has complementary base pairs, and it carries with it an amino acid. The first
amino acid in the chain is always methionine. When a second tRNA, carrying a different amino acid
arrives and binds, a peptide bond forms between the two amino acids and the resulting product is a
dipeptide molecule two amino acids joined together. This process continues and as more amino acids
are joined together by peptide

Energy Balanced Balance
Watch your portion sizes! The amount you eat or drink plays an important role in your energy balance
strategy. You may be eating more than you realize. Some common food portions can equal the amount
that is recommended for the whole day. For example, one bagel may weigh up to 5 ounces, which
equals the entire day s allotment of grains for someone on a 1600 calorie MyPyramid Plan.
A good way to see how big your portions really are is to measure the size of bowls, glasses, cups, and

Lady Macbeth Seizing The Daggers Summary
The Henry Fuseli s depiction of Macbeth in the painting Lady Macbeth Seizing the Daggers portrays
him as weak, fearful, and deranged while giving a sympathetic tone. Macbeth looks thin and fragile.
His arms are skeletal. His legs are also skeletal. His eyebrows turn up at the middle. His eyes are wide
giving off the feeling of fear. His mouth is also open wide showing his fear. His eyes are light
compared to the rest of him, which emphasizes how large and wide they are. The eyes are full of fear,
and they are also deranged. His wide eyes also look hypnotized, and stuck. His hair helps show his
mental state. It is going in lots of different ways, and is in disarray. He is not in control of himself, but
he is a wreck and is borderline deranged. His stance is also very revealing. He is holding out his arms

and she has deep set eyes. Her serious eyes are intense which shows how she has taken charge of the
situation. Her dress is wispy and almost looks like it is floating. The dress gives an ominous feel by
resembling a demon or a ghost. The dress also elongates her body making her look powerful. She is
leaning towards Macbeth in a lunge creating movement and superiority. She has her finger up to her
lips in a hushing motion. Her demand to be quiet is displaying her dominance. She is wearing a fancy
dress, clean gloves, and has perfectly well kept hair. Her well kept appearance shows how she is not
affected by the situation and is in control of herself and strong. She is more powerful and in control of
herself than Macbeth

Huckleberry Finn Confederate
Would Huck Finn Grow up to be a Confederate? As one of the most iconic American literary
characters, does Huckleberry Finn have a racist mindset? In The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, by
Mark Twain, Huckleberry Finn despite his apparent affection for his escaped black friend Jim, is racist
and a product of his environment. This is seen through the language he uses, his condescending
attitude towards Jim, and his demonstrated beliefs of white supremacy.
To start things off, Huckleberry Finn uses strong, hateful language to slaves and all African Americans
in general. When Jim is introduced Huck describes him as Miss Watson s big nigger, named Jim...
(p.4). Huck clearly sees the need to address Jim as a black man before he even gets to his name.
Demonstrating that Huck sees a difference between blacks and whites, he says, Betsy (this was a
nigger woman)... (p.96). It is not singular to how he views Jim, Huck refers to all black people in the
same derogatory fashion, with racial slurs and racist language.
Secondly, Huckleberry constantly talks to Jim as if he was older than him, when in actuality, Jim is
much older than he is. At the point in the story when Jim tells Huck he ran away Huck responds Jim
(p.43)! Huck is almost scolding Jim for running off which isn t quite right because Jim is older than

Montresor Capital Punishment
In the short story The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allen Poe, Montresor murderers Fortunato by
leading him into the catacombs after getting him drunk one night. Montresor takes Fortunato down
into a small room, chains him up, then builds a wall where he suffocates. Although Montresor
murdered Fortunato, Montresor should not be sentenced to death. Capital punishment is the penalty of
being put to death after committing a crime. In this way, capital punishment can be incredibly cruel to
the criminal. In the article Capital Punishment in the United States by Robert W. Taylor, Professor of
Criminology and Public Affairs, adds, Many people oppose the death penalty because they believe it is
cruel. Just like others who commit crimes, Montresor would have to face death penalty. In the other
article, 5 Arguments For And Against The Death Penalty by FlameHorse, agrees that capital
punishment can be ineffective, painful, and slow which could make the death penalty crueler than the
actual crime committed. That can mean that if Montresor were sentenced to death then he could face a
much crueler death than he caused ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Dr. FlameHorse, from the second article, also argues, It is strange that a nation would denounce the
practice of murder by committing the very same act. By doing so, we re essentially championing the
right to life by taking it from other. It can be hypocritical because the death penalty is intended to
teach people not to kill people. So why should Montresor be killed just because he committed a crime,
if the purpose of the death penalty is to teach people not to commit crimes? Also in an article put
together by Arbiter s staff titled The way we see it: Capital Punishment irresponsible, hypocritical
emphasises that people are given the basic human rights from the government and that taking them
away would be hypocritical. Montresor has his rights and if the government takes his rights then it

Signs Of Psychological Abuse
Child abuse is broadly defined in many cases as cruelty inflicted upon a child. There are many forms
of abuse that leads to a pattern of behavior that impairs a child s emotional development or sense of
self worth. Psychological abuse is common but few understand the psychological abuse definition
enough to spot it. Without the visible signs of physical abuse psychological abuse can stay hidden for
years. However, physical abuse is the most visible form of child maltreatment. Many times it results
from excessive physical discipline from a parent or caretaker in anger. Children of physical abuse may

What Is The Moral Of The Little Mermaid
A Devious Motion Picture The Little Mermaid, directed by John Musker and Ron Clements, appears
as an innocent story about a princess mermaid who marries the prince of her dreams, receiving
everything she wants with the power of her royalty father, king of the sea. That is the way children see
it, but in reticent ways, this film is unsuitable for children. Expectations have been raised for our
children contradicting high or low status in class struggles, different beliefs and morals in ideologies,

in this film by characterizing high status as most important, rather than educating children equality,

There are many family films out there that portray the important fundamentals and morals for children
to perceive such as values in caring for your family, or values in education, or even the equality and
equity we struggle with. Parents and guardians need to take stand in focusing on the messages in the
films our children are watching, and fill their minds with the positive messages in this world. Children
should not be learning to develop an animosity or bias on cultures or nationalities, or high or low
classes, they should be focusing on the lesson to love everyone equally, and treating every person the
same, and with the respect as they deserve. This film portrays an unrealistic realization for kids and it
is causing a negative outlook on their own ideologies and views in society. This film proves many
apprehensions and reasoning in why it is an appropriate film for kids to be watching, and it is very
important we stop filling their minds with this logic, and start filling their minds with the true
importance and morals in life, encountering them with a positive outlook on the

My College Life In High School
I am an international student and last year I was invited by my high school to do a sharing about my
college life in the United States. I am getting everything I want, with the help of my family I started
the sharing by this sentence. After a deep breath, I began my story.
Two years ago, I just graduated from my high school in my home country, thinking that I could get
into one of my dream schools in the United States and enjoy my fantastic 4 year college life. Since my
GPA in high school was pretty high, I expected that all universities would like to accept students like
me. I started applying for a couple of schools that I was very interested in, but did not receive any
good news. Knowing all my friends had got their acceptance letters, I felt inferior and began to
complain about my family s social and financial status. I complained about why my family could not
afford me to go to a high school in the States so that I could have more chances to get into universities
that I wanted. Another reason why I was so anxious was that I did not apply for any schools in my
home country, so I had to take one gap year in the worst case. I did not want to do so because I
thought everyone would feel disappointed in me and perhaps looked down on me. Unfortunately, I
was rejected by all my dream schools. At that moment, I was extremely frustrated; I lost my
confidence, I lost my hope, I could not see the road ahead of me. Then, I had depression.
I reduced my volume gradually and the

Mary. An angel is standing beside her, making a gesture. Both figures are inside an ornately decorated,

portion of it is suspended onto the stand from which she reads a book. The book s pages are opened in

a gold halo. Just above the dove is a depiction of a horned figure with a halo. To the left of the
depiction is a gold chandelier that is styled in a similar manner to the angel s scepter. Behind and to
the left of the chandelier is an ornate diptych, only one of the panels are revealed. Inscriptions are

The Central Park Five Summary
The documentary we had to watch for this week s discussion called The Central Park Five directed by
Ken Burns was eye opening. The movie was about five black and Latino teenagers aged 14 to 16 of
being falsely convicted of attacking and raping a 28 year old white woman in the central park, New
York in 1989. There was lots of miscarriage of justice that occurred in this movie that caught me by
surprise and disappointment me. If this was a woman from Harlem or another poor city, this would not
have been such a big case. In the movie, they talk about the woman being raped and thrown off the
balcony and no one had any issue with that. It was not even public headlines in most newspapers, not
fair how some stories get more popularity over others. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They lied to the 5 teens saying, the other in the group is telling them they did the crime and if they
admit it they can walk out a free man. Manipulating and pressuring the teens to do something or say
something they want to hear is a terrible persona. That is a tough situation for a teen to be in; they are
not used to being locked up for days and being interrogated by the police. In their head, they thought
the only way to get out was by saying something the prosecutor and detective wanted to hear, which
untimely ended up hurting them the most in the trial. I was disappointed in the fact that the teens were
convicted before the trail, I feel as once they walked into the police department the law enforcement
team knew they were going to pin this crime on the teens by any means. This would have been easy
for the public to believe because of the color of their skin and easy to see them as violent

Moral Behavior Video Analysis
I do believe that Kohlberg s stages of moral development are well developed, but I also believe that no
every single individual goes through these stages sequentially; we are all different, and we all have
different moral development meaning that one thing can be right for me, but totally wrong for you. As
the video stated, it is moral reasoning that determines the stage of moral development, and universal
sequence of moral development and that each person develops his own degree of morality in the same
consistent and unchanging ways. I do believe that some adults will ever actually attain level six of
morality, because I would have been one of those adults in not reaching level six of morality. I think
that every person will react to every

Mentos Vs Diet Soda Experiment
For anyone that has ever tried combining mint Mentos and Diet Coke, they would probably think the
reaction of the two is pretty neat. Though they might not be sure of how the two actually create a
reaction. It all started in 1999, when Lee Marek and Marek s Kid Scientists first displayed this
experiment on the Late Show with David Letterman ( Watch Videos ). After this show aired, people all
around the globe wondered how two things as simple as a diet soda and a few pieces of candy could
produce such an outcome. This struck the curiosity of others, and with this, research and explanations
as to why this happens have been discovered over time. This experiment is an experiment because of
the reactants, and it is has to do with a process called ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In order to slow down the reaction, manipulating the Mentos used is also what would work ( Why Do
Mentos, 2014). Instead of using Mentos with a rough, bumpy coating, try using Mentos with a
smoother texture. Having a smoother outer cover, the attraction the carbon dioxide gas has to the
Mentos will only lessen. This would decrease the amount of bubbles being produced by the carbon
dioxide gas, which would leave barely any bubbles rising to the top of the soda. This would slow
down the reaction time, and it would also result in a weaker explosion. Another way to minimize the
reaction time of Diet Coke and Mentos is to change the form of the Mentos (Buddies, 2012). By
changing the form, crushing up the Mentos will result in a much slower and smaller eruption because
of the density of the Mentos. If the Mentos are crushed, they are less dense, so they will drift to the
bottom slower. Whole Mentos are more dense, so they will travel to the bottom of the coke bottle
quicker. This being said, it will be harder for the carbon dioxide gas to act fast with a less dense
reactor. It will still cause a reaction, but it will not be a big

Interviewing a few of moderators in this community gave insight into how it operated. One member of
the group noted two key roles involved in running the administrative side of the community. These
two roles may sound similar, but they have striking differences that make their variation requisite to
the success of the community. The higher of the two being the Administrative, position or the admin
for short. The second role is the Moderator, or mod. During normal operation, these roles share many
of the same responsibilities of each other. That is, until one important event causes the significant

Contrast this with the role of the administrator. During high time, the administrators are focusing on
what the future of the group will hold. To conceptualize this, they will be participating in the social
image of the community. This may entail advertisements, interview results, website review, and
magazine publications. They ll be the ones imagining, after this event dies down, what will our group
look like? What will we stand for after it is complete? Who will we be? Together, these two roles are
the scaffolding for the governance of this community.
There are a few other roles below the moderator and administrator position, which play less of a role
in the administration of the group. The one such role to note is the community s database of
information editors. These individuals are assigned the role after speaking specifically to an admin
who will ask what section of the database they are interested in contributing to. The users are put on a
trial as well where all of their initial posts are reviewed prior to full release. Once they have access,
they are given the task to documenting pertinent information to the subject they ve been assigned. The
user will learn about proper documentation techniques, and will become an elder within the topic.

Training and development will play a huge role in the success of VeriType. HRM is critical in developing the proper training and development of most companies. The training of both the software development team and the technical support staff will be important in the success of VeriType. Employees must be trained in HCFA guidelines so that they can ensure the software is operating effectively. Employees must be competently trained in how to educate and help customers. The steps an effective training and development plan include determining specific needs, establishing specific objectives, selecting methods/delivery systems, implementing programs, and finally evaluation. (Mondy, 2014) VeriType wants to develop and launch their software geared to help physicians alleviate billing problems and ultimately avoid costly HCFA violations. • 3. Feudalism In Medieval Europe ife was extremely difficult for those living during the Middle Ages. Many people were illiterate, and relied mainly on their beliefs. The people believed that fate ruled their existence; therefore, there was little hope for improving their condition. During the years of the Roman Empire, the peasants, or poor citizens of the empire, were protected by the soldiers of the emperor. After the fall of the Roman Empire in 476 A.D., the peasants longed for protection. There were no laws protecting these peasants, so they turned to the lords to keep the peace and to act on their behalf. The willingness exemplified by the peasants to be ruled by the lords led to the beginnings of the dominant social system in Medieval Europe: feudalism. Feudalism is simply defined as land exchanged for work. However, feudalism entails a more complicated aspect: a social hierarchy in which protection and military service was exchanged for homage, labor, and a share of the produce. R.J. Barendense, an author of the Journal of World History, states that feudalism is ...a specific world historic juncture in which peasant societies were subjugated by an aristocracy of mounted warriors that became more powerful than any central institution and increasingly appropriated the jurisdiction over the peasants, and thus the land revenue. In other worlds, the nobility held lands from the Crown in exchange for military service, and vassals were in turn tenants of the nobles, while the peasants, or serfs, were obliged to live on their lord s land and give him homage, labor, and a share of the produce, notionally in exchange for military protection. Feudalism established an ultimate system of control for medieval society, providing a degree of cohesiveness in a society that lacked an adequate bureaucracy or method of taxation. As stated, feudalism was simply a system of government in which people were given land and protection by people of a higher rank. The lower class worked fought for the upper class in return. In feudalism, the main Feudal Hierarchy consisted of the King, the Nobles, the Knights, and the Peasants, who were called serfs. The King was the highest person according to the feudal system. However, each of their stories differ the way they got there and what they choose to do with their wealth. Therefore even though they were all making tons and tons of money, their lifestyles were dramatically different. These three men were apart of the Gilden Age a time when corruption existed in society but was overshadowed by the wealth of the period. Andrew Carnegie, was immigrant from Scotland his family came over when he was 13 years old. Carnegie was not born into wealth, similar to Rockefeller. He eventually worked his way up to superintendent of the Pittsburgh Division of Pennsylvania Railroad and caught the eye of two company executives Thomas A. Scott and company president J. Carnegie became quite adept at investing and one of his earliest endeavors was using his connections and skills to merge the T.T. Woodruff Company (later called Central Transportation Company), a maker of sleeping cars for trains, and the Pullman Palace Car Company. After the experience from these jobs and guidance from his mentor, Thomas Scott, along with perfecting the Bessemer Process to make iron into steel efficiently and cheap Andrew Carnegie made a fortune in steel in the late 1800s. Along with this Carnegie also used a process called horizontal consolidation or horizontal integration this is a process in which a company buys out or merges with all competing companies. By 1889, steel production in the United States outpaced that of the U.K. and most of that was under Carnegie s control. By then, Carnegie was one of the wealthiest men in America. • 5. Maxine Hong Kingston s `` No Name Woman `` Being an author of several praised works, Maxine Hong Kingston has been deemed a noteworthy American writer since her first book debuted. Her unique style and interesting blend of myth and truth in memoir form garnered her international attention and won her several awards. Kingston s works have put heavy emphasis on her family history and her experiences as a Chinese American, so it is no surprise that she has been received well by many and misunderstood by others at the same time. A discussion on one of her most popular works, No Name Woman , and a look at the different ways Kingston s works have been interpreted should reveal how literature can have different meanings depending on what one is looking for. Kingston was born in October of 1940 in the Californian city of Stockton and since her parents were Chinese emigrants to the United States, Kingston became a first generation Chinese American ( Maxine Hong Kingston ). Coming to the United States changed the career situation for both of Kingston s parents, as her father went from teaching to working in a gambling house and her mother went from being a doctor to a stay at home mom raising six children (Baym 1567). After attending the University of California in Berkeley and graduating in 1962, Kingston spent many years teaching through various jobs before getting published in 1976 ( Maxine Hong Kingston ). The last of the Mohicans is set in North America around the Canadian and American Border and occurs during the around the third year of the French and Indian War. This novel of Coopers illustrates the common ideas about race and gender that circulated as part of the American Identity of the time period. Cooper illustrates the unfavorable attitudes of whites toward the American Indians. The French and Indian War divided the American Indian tribes. Some tribes fought for the English, while other tribes sided with the French. Even though the American Indians fought along side the English and French soldiers, they were considered less than a desirable people. The war is now in its third year and the fight to gain control of the territory around Canada and New York becomes doubtful. Race plays a major role in Cora and Alice s impressions of Magua . Cooper voices this attitude when he wrote, Perhaps no district throughout the wide extent of the intermediate frontier can furnish a livelier picture of the cruelty and fierceness of the savage warfare...between the waters of the Hudson and the adjacent lakes ( ). A fear was beginning to emerge that the possession of the English crown in America might lessen and that France could become the victor here. The English colonists were beginning to loose their strong confidence in their military leaders. Politics appeared to play a part in how England recorded the heroic feats of its army. For example, a Virginia boy, George Washington, played an important role in a decisive battle around the Hudson area and saved the remnants of the British army. Generations Research Paper People are at the heart of every company, be it a large corporation with thousands of employees worldwide or a small, family owned business that just opened its doors. People pioneer ideas, solve problems, and take care of the customer. As such, it comes as no surprise that one of the biggest challenges for every company is finding and recruiting top talent. With a new generation entering the workforce, employers are forced to be more creative in their recruiting methods in order to meet the different priorities and expectations of the new generation. Since the 2008 financial crisis, one of the biggest issues to plague the American workforce has been work life balance (Taylor, 2016). While salaries and minimum wages have experienced an ... Typically, the only requirement is to make sure colleagues are up to date on the employee s work and that the employee s absence will not cause issues to the business in any way (Branson, 2014). The rationale behind this is that employees will manage their own time well because it is in the best interest of their careers to do so. This is different from a relatively more traditional Paid Time Off (PTO) policy, which essentially groups vacation, sick, and personal days under the same umbrella while establishing a cap on the overall time off (Sine, 2017). While PTO policies do not give employees as much freedom as an unlimited vacation policy, it still touts the same general principles and may be a better option for companies with more nonexempt employees or who are otherwise not ready to implement an unlimited vacation policy. Netflix Unlimited vacation policies have been increasingly popular over the last few years with many companies in a variety of industries taking advantage of it. While traditional PTO laws tended to be based upon state regulations, this new perk was pioneered by Patty McCord, the former Chief Talent Officer at Netflix, and popularized by the viral deck that she wrote with Reed Hastings, the CEO of Netflix (McCord, 2014). • 9. What Is Howard Shore s Music Howard Shore is one of the most legendary and esteemed composer and music conductor in present time. The Lord of the Rings is his most well known compositions and has been the best of his achievements in his entire career. This trilogy alone has earned him three academy awards. This three part trilogy cost a whopping $300 million dollars. The setting for his music was placed in Middle Earth, and Shore had to write music for Hobbits, Dwarfs, Elves and all the other creatures belonging to Tolkien s fantasy world. At first, Howard did not have a clear concept or plan; he had only read the novels but did not know how to get started. Until he finally decided that, the LOTR should be operatic. The reason behind this choice was that Shore saw the tragedy and struggle in the novels, and saw how it was already an Opera. Opera and 19th century choral pieces became his inspiration. The Fellowship of the Ring contains two and a half hours of music. In this Shore uses strings, brass and choral sections creating in depth moments. Enya a famous Celtic singer also contributed to Shores work, giving the music a sense of peacefulness. The motif of baseball is of great prominence in the play Fences by August Wilson. The motif is also used often within Troy s speech throughout the play to allude to significant themes and conflicts such as death and his adulterous affair with Alberta. Troy perceives death in many ways. In Act one, scene one, Troy proclaims, death ain t nothing but a fastball on the outside corner. Troy believes that because of his race, he was cheated out of a professional baseball career that he rightfully earned. Weighing on him for years, this incredible injustice fostered Troy s bitterness. Troy hides his immense pain, his resentment, and his disappointment behind the protection of his son, Cory. Troy does not want Cory to be susceptible to that same disappointment that he experienced with baseball. Troy s inability to play baseball due to racism served as his motivation to interfere with Cory s potential college football career. Troy believes implementing strikes on Cory will prevent him from reaching the same fate that he had. Troy warns Cory that his actions are causing him to strike out. When Cory makes three mistakes in the eyes of Troy, he is kicked out of the house. There are also physical representations of the baseball motif within the play. The rag ball tied to the tree could be representative of Troy s poverty and his tattered and ragged dreams. The old ball also proves that even after many years, Troy will do anything he could to hold onto his glory days. The baseball bat becomes a weapon that Troy and Cory threaten each other with. Stricter Laws Essay Every year passenger vehicles contribute a large portion of the carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides in our air, although there are laws and regulations set to help reduce these pollutants I believe stricter laws and regulations should be enacted to further reduce green house gas emissions produced by vehicles in order to protect our environment and slow the process of global warming. Some of the strictest regulations in relevance to green house gas emissions (GHG) in the United States are found in California. This is because California is the second highest GHG emitting state in the nation behind Texas, however California has 30 percent more citizens and 40 percent lower land mass than Texas making California significantly denser ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... DMV.org lists the process in which emissions are regulated in these areas. State to state the emissions testing procedures are generally conducted identically. A tailpipe emissions test is performed on vehicles with a 1995 or older model year. This involves inserting a probe into the tailpipe to measure the amount of pollutants in the car s emissions. Vehicles with a 1996 or newer model year will have an emissions test through an On Board Diagnostic (OBD) system. This style of smog check involves a data exchange between the car s computer and the technician s computer and shows if emissions systems are working correctly. The pollutants that are being measured in both tests are: carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), hydrocarbons (HC), oxygen (O2), and oxides of nitrogen (NOx). Some may argue that the emissions regulations that are in place are good enough. However when we compare Californias strict emissions regulations to other states we quickly find flaws in the other states systems. For example in Connecticut only a Catalytic converter (a piece of a vehicles exhaust system) is required in order to pass emissions. No other testing is conducted other than a slight glance at the under side of the car to see if indeed the Catalytic converter is there. Though a catalytic converters function on a ... Or is the poet saying that the young man now is aware of the poet s imminent demise, and this knowledge makes the young man s love for the poet stronger because he might soon loose him? What must the young man give up before long his youth or his friend? The answer could lie in the interpretation of both the young man s and the poet s character in other sonnets. ***** Sonnets 71 74 are typically analyzed as a group, linked by the poet s thoughts of his own mortality. However, Sonnet 73 contains many of the themes common throughout the entire body of sonnets, including the ravages of time on one s physical well being and the mental anguish associated with moving further from youth and closer to death. Time s destruction of great monuments juxtaposed with the effects of age on human beings is a convention seen before, most notably in Sonnet 55. The poet is preparing his young friend, not for the approaching literal death of his body, but the metaphorical death of his youth and passion. The poet s deep insecurities swell irrepressibly as he concludes that the young man is now focused only on the signs of his aging as the poet surely is himself. This is illustrated by the linear development of the three quatrains. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 17. Proteins And Its Effect On Human Body Proteins are one of the most important biological molecules in the body; they make up more than 50% of the dry mass in human body cells. Their simple structure can be described as amino acid polymers as they are made up of many amino acid monomers stringed together in a linear fashion, which then gives rise to more complex structures, as various bonding and manipulation takes place. The name protein comes from the Greek word meaning holding first place which supports the fact that they are essential to life. Proteins, depending on their structure and where they are found, play very different roles in an organism. An amino acid is made up of a carbon atom in the centre (known as the  carbon), a carboxyl group, amino group, a hydrogen atom and an R group (figure 1). The R group is the section of the amino acid that determines its chemical properties. In glycine, the R group is hydrogen. Some of the amino acids have R groups that are hydrophobic and some have R groups that are hydrophilic and this often determines how the protein folds into its tertiary structure and also where they can be found within the cell. It is the sequence of these amino acids that determines the type of protein that is made. Amino acids join to form proteins in a process known as protein synthesis where a gene is expressed to produce a polypeptide chain. After the genetic code has been translated from the DNA in the nucleus, the resulting mRNA is transcribed into a polypeptide in the cytoplasm of the cell. The mRNA binds to a ribosome and has 3 base pairs exposed called a codon. The anticodon of a tRNA molecule can then bind to the codon as it has complementary base pairs, and it carries with it an amino acid. The first amino acid in the chain is always methionine. When a second tRNA, carrying a different amino acid arrives and binds, a peptide bond forms between the two amino acids and the resulting product is a dipeptide molecule two amino acids joined together. This process continues and as more amino acids are joined together by peptide ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Behind and to the left of the chandelier is an ornate diptych, only one of the panels are revealed. Inscriptions are below the diptych. A wood furnishing bearing intricate carvings supports the diptych, a white cloth rests on its surface. Below it is a metal plate and cup, a cloth resting on it. Beside the furnishing and diptych is an opened window, each of the opened panels attached to it in varying positions. A city is outside the window. Beside the window is a lit candle which is attached to the wall by a gold support, a decorative gold plate behind it. The room s floor is made up of faintly colored tiles arranged in geometric ... • 31. The Central Park Five Summary The documentary we had to watch for this week s discussion called The Central Park Five directed by Ken Burns was eye opening. The movie was about five black and Latino teenagers aged 14 to 16 of being falsely convicted of attacking and raping a 28 year old white woman in the central park, New York in 1989. There was lots of miscarriage of justice that occurred in this movie that caught me by surprise and disappointment me. If this was a woman from Harlem or another poor city, this would not have been such a big case. In the movie, they talk about the woman being raped and thrown off the balcony and no one had any issue with that. It was not even public headlines in most newspapers, not fair how some stories get more popularity over others. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They lied to the 5 teens saying, the other in the group is telling them they did the crime and if they admit it they can walk out a free man. Manipulating and pressuring the teens to do something or say something they want to hear is a terrible persona. That is a tough situation for a teen to be in; they are not used to being locked up for days and being interrogated by the police. In their head, they thought the only way to get out was by saying something the prosecutor and detective wanted to hear, which untimely ended up hurting them the most in the trial. I was disappointed in the fact that the teens were convicted before the trail, I feel as once they walked into the police department the law enforcement team knew they were going to pin this crime on the teens by any means. This would have been easy for the public to believe because of the color of their skin and easy to see them as violent ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 32. Moral Behavior Video Analysis I do believe that Kohlberg s stages of moral development are well developed, but I also believe that no every single individual goes through these stages sequentially; we are all different, and we all have different moral development meaning that one thing can be right for me, but totally wrong for you. As the video stated, it is moral reasoning that determines the stage of moral development, and universal sequence of moral development and that each person develops his own degree of morality in the same consistent and unchanging ways. I do believe that some adults will ever actually attain level six of morality, because I would have been one of those adults in not reaching level six of morality. I think that every person will react to every ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 33. Student Loan Debt Middle Class, It Is Time To Do Your Research To Save Money Student loan debt has become a big financial problem for the United States of America. The Student loan debt nationwide is now in the range of one trillion dollars. President Obama has now addressed this problem with the federal student loan forgiveness program which will help graduate students with paying for their loan, but that does not seem like that will be enough to help with this problem. Has anyone asked the question, How did we allow this to happen and what can we do to help the next generation of graduates? Incoming college students along with their parents need to be educated regarding loans, grants, scholarships. They need to understand the terms and consequence to these ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Each college and university that the student applies too will have the student fill out and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine what type of federal student aid the student qualifies for. Colleges and universities will also use FAFSA to determine if the student qualifies for nonfederal aid and state level grants and scholarships. A majority of lower and middle class income families are not aware of the many scholarships, grants and academic related awards that are granted because of associations, religious organization and foundations that target the students demographic or affiliations. There are many resources in your public library to help you find information about applying for scholarships that are available each year for college students as well as online resources like the website ... • 34. Mentos Vs Diet Soda Experiment For anyone that has ever tried combining mint Mentos and Diet Coke, they would probably think the reaction of the two is pretty neat. Though they might not be sure of how the two actually create a reaction. It all started in 1999, when Lee Marek and Marek s Kid Scientists first displayed this experiment on the Late Show with David Letterman ( Watch Videos ). After this show aired, people all around the globe wondered how two things as simple as a diet soda and a few pieces of candy could produce such an outcome. This struck the curiosity of others, and with this, research and explanations as to why this happens have been discovered over time. This experiment is an experiment because of the reactants, and it is has to do with a process called ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In order to slow down the reaction, manipulating the Mentos used is also what would work ( Why Do Mentos, 2014). Instead of using Mentos with a rough, bumpy coating, try using Mentos with a smoother texture. Having a smoother outer cover, the attraction the carbon dioxide gas has to the Mentos will only lessen. This would decrease the amount of bubbles being produced by the carbon dioxide gas, which would leave barely any bubbles rising to the top of the soda. This would slow down the reaction time, and it would also result in a weaker explosion. Another way to minimize the reaction time of Diet Coke and Mentos is to change the form of the Mentos (Buddies, 2012). By changing the form, crushing up the Mentos will result in a much slower and smaller eruption because of the density of the Mentos. If the Mentos are crushed, they are less dense, so they will drift to the bottom slower. Whole Mentos are more dense, so they will travel to the bottom of the coke bottle quicker. This being said, it will be harder for the carbon dioxide gas to act fast with a less dense reactor. It will still cause a reaction, but it will not be a big ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 35. What Are The Key Roles Involved In Running The... Interviewing a few of moderators in this community gave insight into how it operated. One member of the group noted two key roles involved in running the administrative side of the community. These two roles may sound similar, but they have striking differences that make their variation requisite to the success of the community. The higher of the two being the Administrative, position or the admin for short. The second role is the Moderator, or mod. During normal operation, these roles share many of the same responsibilities of each other. That is, until one important event causes the significant schism to occur. This event is known as, high time. High time for this group is when new members flock to the community in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Contrast this with the role of the administrator. During high time, the administrators are focusing on what the future of the group will hold. To conceptualize this, they will be participating in the social image of the community. This may entail advertisements, interview results, website review, and magazine publications. They ll be the ones imagining, after this event dies down, what will our group look like? What will we stand for after it is complete? Who will we be? Together, these two roles are the scaffolding for the governance of this community. There are a few other roles below the moderator and administrator position, which play less of a role in the administration of the group. The one such role to note is the community s database of information editors. These individuals are assigned the role after speaking specifically to an admin who will ask what section of the database they are interested in contributing to. The users are put on a trial as well where all of their initial posts are reviewed prior to full release. Once they have access, they are given the task to documenting pertinent information to the subject they ve been assigned. The user will learn about proper documentation techniques, and will become an elder within the topic. All this being said, what type of governance does the community incorporate to deal with deviant behavior? At a core the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
