Abstract: Agriculture uses 85% of available freshwater resources worldwide and this percentage will
continue to be dominant in water consumption because of population growth and increased food
demand. In India agriculture, primarily depends on the monsoon, which is not a sufficient source of
water. So irrigation is employed in the agriculture area. This paper targets to offer a cloud based drip
irrigation system to aid the farmers. The proposed system uses a microcontroller, sensors, and a cloud
server to provide real time network with field over a Wi Fi network. The proposed system aims to
conserve water up to a large extent by providing automatic and manual modes of irrigation. The

Is Mark Twain trying to be funny by the contrasting cultures or is there something deeper? Samuel
Langhorne Clemens, a famous author and publisher who is mostly known by his pen name of Mark
Twain. He was born in Florida, Missouri in November of 1835 to parents Jane and John Clemens. His
father died when he was 13 and Samuel left school and became a printer s apprentice and throughout
the next several years moved up to become an editorial assistant. In 1858 he became a river pilot
which is where he got his name of Mark Twain meaning safe to navigate. In 1865, Twain was first
published in the New York Saturday Press for his writing of The Celebrated Jumping Frog from
Calaveras County . This short story made him well known and was the first of many writings to lead

With many of the texts that were assigned to us, each one dealt with the relationship between insiders
and outsiders differently. The insider and outsider relationship varies between both the idea of inner
conflict and outside conflict. I will be explaining these relationships from the texts of Gooboora, The
Silent Pool, The Tell Tale Heart, and Things Fall Apart. Gooboora, The Silent Pool deals with the
relationship of the Aboriginal people of Australia and colonialization, while The Tell Tale Heart deals
with an outsider s effect on the main character s subconscious. Things Fall Apart, however, is a
mixture of both conflicts that were mentioned. Each of the three texts show how the outside negatively
effects the inside.
In the poem, Gooboora, The Silent Pool by Oodgeroo Noonuccal, it shows some aspects of the
aftermath from colonialism in Australia and how it has affected the Aboriginal people. In Amanda
Woods s thesis, she explains that Noonuccal s poems are a means that speak for the Aboriginal people.
With Gooboora, The Silent Pool, it talks about the lost images of a pool that is sacred to the Aboriginal
people. The aftermath of colonialization has left only a memory for the people. This story was set after

Alpine Drive Investigation
Leading up to the investigation, at 10:30 the Police Communications Bureau called me at home and
informed me of a request for a Detective follow up at Alpine Drive. Originally, patrol officers
responded to the address regarding yelling and screaming, but once they arrived they found the door
open and no one inside. While responding officers were still at the scene, others were dispatched to a
location a couple miles away where a passing reported someone lying next to the roadway. Officers

of trust. With all the negative we are reading about urban schools I felt that this might shed some light
on the problems and possible ways to fix them.
