1) Around 16 million children in Nepal are involved in child labor, with 9 million in hazardous work. Over 621,000 children are involved in dangerous jobs.
2) Domestic child laborers face high rates of sexual abuse, with 56.85% experiencing such issues. In the Kathmandu valley alone, 1 in 19 households uses child labor.
3) More than 45% of child laborers are deprived of education. Using children under 16 for any work, including domestic labor, is illegal and punishable by law.
