This chapter summarizes the findings, conclusions, and recommendations of the study about factors affecting career preferences of senior high school students. The study aimed to determine the top three career choices of students and understand the influences of childhood aspirations, family, peers, and in-demand jobs on their preferences. It found no significant relationships between students' profiles or preferences and their chosen careers. It concludes with recommendations for improving career guidance.

This chapter presents the summary of findings, conclusions, and
recommendations related to the English Proficiency.
Summary
The study aimed to determine the factors affecting career preferences of
senior high school students of San Pablo City National High School 2010-2011.
Specifically, it sought to answer the following problems:
1. What are the profile of the senior high school students in terms of:
1.1 Sex;
1.2 Age;
1.3 Parents’ Educational Attainment;
1.4 Parents’ Occupation; and
1.5 Socio – economic status?
2. What are the top three expressed career choices of the students?
3. What are the perception of the respondents regarding preferences in choosing a
career in college in terms of:
3.1 Childhood Aspirations;
3.2 Family/ Relatives;
3.3 Peer influences; and
3.4 In-Demand Jobs?
4. Is there a significant relationship between the profile of the respondents and their
