It explores failing to see conflicts as opportunities for growth and learning. The impact of context on conflicts is examined, with strategies like letting issues pass, reframing problems, and focusing on interests rather than positions. Five responses to conflict - avoiding, accommodating, competing, compromising, and collaborating - are outlined. The importance of learning to collaborate in conflicts through empathy, honesty, integrity and finding small-scale cooperative alternatives is emphasized.
