Title of Project : LOW VOLTAGE CUTT-OFF DEVICE(LVCD)
Project Summary : LVCD Device is actually monitoring the voltage level of battery and
will
automatically turn-off the load connected to the battery if
voltage falls
to below specified limit. One can destroy a lead-Acid battery is
to
discharge it below its manufacturers specified discharge voltage
limit
(depth-of-discharge (DoD)), and leave it at such low voltage for
a few
hours. This situation results from the irreversible hardening of
the
discharge generated lead sulphate (PbSO4) on both the positive
and
negative plates of the battery. To avoid this, all battery usage
systems
should be incorporated with discharge monitor/cut-out
systems

• Three Phase Versa-Tech Re-closer provide Three phase High Voltage Line protection,
Metering, run protection algorithms, detects the faulty condition and issues trip
command to the vacuum interrupter through RF and breaks the power line.
• It has mechanism that can automatically close the breaker after it has been opened
due to a fault.
• If the fault is a permanent fault (downed wires, tree branches lying on the wires, etc.)
the Recloser will exhaust its pre-programmed attempts to re-energize the line and
remain tripped off until manually commanded to try again.
